  1. My main wish for future fifa career modes is a revamp of the training. At the moment it just seems like an attempt to get you to play the skills game and not actually focused of bettering your team. Yes it has an effect on sharpness but it could be so much more.

If each unit, such as defending, dribbling, passing etc had an effect on player attributes and made players improve quicker then it would be much more enjoyable and worthwhile.

I also think there’s an opportunity to have seperate training for youth players and possibly a youth team so your future stats don’t just sit there if you can’t get them a loan move.

It gets a lot of hate but it’s not so far away from being a good game again. I hope it gets there.

  2. So many things, but I’ll try to rank the most important ones.

    1. Contract signing as a player
This might already be in 22 (haven’t played it), but when I play as a player I never get to negotiate my contract. I get an offer, I accept or decline and that’s it. After that, I’m that clubs property for ever and ever, especially if I’m good since they just won’t sell me.
For the love of god, let me negotiate the length of my contract. You have this is in ALL other EA Sports games.

    2. Influence over your club
When you become a bigger star and captain, maybe the clubs should ask you about wishes for new signings or if you want to be penalty taker etc. Not that you can demand it, but put in a wish.

    3. Being subbed in or out once in a while
It would be nice to be able to sub yourself out when you’re up 4-0 without losing your entire rating. And in the same way, it would be nice to maybe start at the bench due to low energy, but getting subbed in in the 65th minute.

    4. History, records, other leagues etc.
There’s a slight history there now, but I would like to see a more proper version of it. Update the record book when somebody breaks a record, show trophies, follow the career of your former players as a manager or your former team mates as a player. See how your old team is doing.

    5. Become more popular based on results
Today the feeling is that your value and popularity rises more because of rating than success. That’s wrong. Both team and personal titles should push those.
