FIFA 20 Starting Guide

Learn how to get started with FIFA 20 game. Here we have a beginner’s guide for launching FIFA 20 and getting started with it properly. Go through each steps given below and enjoy the game.


Get Prepared

Before launching the FIFA 20 game, we would suggest you to read the game manual and go through the controls guide. Doing this will help you to get familiar with FIFA 20 especially when it’s your first time playing a FIFA franchise game. Once you feel that you are good and familiar with it, you can go ahead, install FIFA 20 and jump into the game.


Connect to Internet

After installing the FIFA 20 game on your console/PC, you need to connect your machine to internet in order to sing-in/sign-up to EA servers for saving your FIFA 20 in-game histroy and records into your account. So make sure that your console/PC has internet connection, otherwise you can run the game but you won’t be able to connect and sign-in to EA servers.


Launch the Game

Launch FIFA 20 buy clicking or starting it. Depending on your platform, the game can be found on your machine – On PS4 and Xbox One, it will be available on the main screen, on PC-Windows, it can be found under the folder that you choose to install. If you are a PC-Windows user, you might need to change the game configurations before launching the game according to your computer specifications. Choose your Language

After running the game, you will be asked to choose your language for in-game contents based on the game’s region you have ordered. The language screen stays there for 10 seconds, if you don’t do any action, it will skip to the game by choosing the default game language.


Play the Intro Match

Before going to the title screen of the game, there is an introduction match in Volta mode (street football mode) between Liverpool FC and Real Madrid players. You can skip this match by quitting it, but by playing this match you will get familiar with the new controls and skill moves in FIFA 20 especially with the Volta Football mode. This match also will rank your gameplay skill later.


Login / Singin to EA

Now you need to sing-in/sign-up to EA Origin server. If you already have an account, you just need to sing-in to it. A verification email will be sent to your email and you will need to confirm and verify it.


Compulsory User Agreement

Next, you will see the EA User Agreement screen where you must accept to process to the next step. You can go through it and read it properly.


Difficulty Level & Controller Settings

You will be asked to choose your difficulty level & controller settings here which is pre-selected based on your previous experience level. You can change this settings later in the Settings menu.


Select your Favourite Club/Team

Before going into the game, you will be required to select a club or team as your favourite team. Your selected club/team will be showcased with your profile in EA Sports Football Club. You will be also asked to share your account information & receive emails from EA.

You can consent to EA sharing your account information (email address, country, age and EASFC activity with the organisations, leagues, and clubs including FIFA, UEFA, the league organisation you choose (For example The FA for Premier League) and the club you select (For example Liverpool FC) and for them to email you directly regarding their products, news, events and promotions. You can disable the sharing by choosing “No” option. By choosing yes, you will agree to share your account information with EA and the above mentioned organisations, you will also receive an email to confirm the sharing.


Welcome Screen and Rewards

In the welcome screen, you will receive some bonuses regarding to your previous XP level. These rewards include EA FCC and FUT packs. These bonuses will be rewarded to you later in the game.


Title Screen

So you see the title screen which means you are already in the game. Here you will see the game menu and options, where you can choose the game modes you want to play to. The main interface of FIFA 20 has the following tab options:

Home

You can four options to choose:

  • Last Played Mode – The most recent game mode you have played
  • VOLTA – The Volta game mode.
  • Promo Tab – An option that showcases a promotional event or items
  • More Useful/Promotional Option – A small tab which shows a few promo options or game supports
Play

Under this tab you can play all the available game modes in FIFA 20 including Volta, FUT, Career Mode, UEFA Champions League, Kick off, Tournaments, Skill Games and Practise Arena.

Online

Here you can see the game options on FIFA 20 online modes. You can play the following modes from here:

Customise

Under this tab, you can customise the game and in-game settings such as General Settings, Control & Buttons Settings, Your Profile, Online Game Settings, Camera Settings, EASFC Catalogue, Edit Teams, Team Sheets, Player Creation and Customisation and Soundtrack & Playlists.
