I have played PS FIFA since 2011, and FIFA22 is by far the WOSRT Fifa I have ever played. Many bugs and issues. Shooting is a total mess (with or without shot-delay). Your shots ridiculously hit the bar too many times. Passes are not accurate and goalkeepers are ridiculously overpowered. The referee blew the whistle to end the game while I was one-on-one with the goalkeeper in the penalty area!! what a bug! I will play my FIFA21 until FIFA23 is released.

Honestly In terms of defending I think the best developers were in FIFA 19, from there interns took over....defending is a problem....conceding unnecessary goals

One of the players I loaned in, in my career is asking for a contract renewal. Please sort this out Fifa.

Fifa 22: We wanted to make career mode more realistic so we limited your player's pace based on his height.

Also Fifa 22: Literally at any time during your career, you can change your player's position, height, and entire skillset.

I was so excited to play FIFA 22 I’m not into ultimate team just career mode for me. I’m massively disappointed init putting hours of game play to realise I’ve maxed out at 25 and I can’t get my player higher rating than 86 and he’s only 20 at the time. The only good thing I can say is the crest your own team is good that’s it for me but I don’t think I can’t be arsed playing it now due to the player career mode might as well sell it.

Since FUT has really upgraded the level of sbc players and basic rare golds the past few years, it has brought down the usability of many icons. Many of the icons are unusable already in elite divisions and its kind of foolish since the main thing in this game mode is to enjoy the cards of youre favorite players and when they are Ballon D’or contenders like for example Litmanen they really should be usable on top of the divisions. Not on the level of Messi/CR7/Neymar etc ofcource, but nearer to the meta curve. Main problem seems to be either pace or agility+balance. Really hope that the icons are upgraded to fifa 23 on the level they deserve. Litmanen , Baresi, Nesta, Pirlo, Moore, Puyol, Schole, Drogba, Klose, Keane, Vieri, Van Niistelroy, Rivaldo, Veron, Hierro, Gattuso, Riquelme and many more who just dont cut it in elite or even in div 1. If you want a deep analyse of each player through my 25 year experience on Fifa’s, then just email me. There are so much potential to make the icons a thing again as they should be! At the end of the day, they would all be the top players bar few in todays game. Also they would rise in price a bit which is good for the market and brings a special feeling when you get youre hands on one. Otherwise Fifa 22 is for me the best Fifa in like 10 years so happy about that. Still issues with gameplay and connections but that is not my speciality so just wanna point out that those should be looked at asap.

Stay away

Been playing since fifa 11, ultimate team since fifa 14. The worst experience I’ve had in this game was end of fifa 20, I had all the good players, stats maxed out, come up against a silver team. 91 Eusebio turns like a tank, can’t outrun defenders with 50 pace, cb’s getting over powered.

If you play, please stay away from fifa points. You’ll get the team you want, then after 10 or so games they start moving and passing and dribbling different. I have no idea how people do not see this. You play with the same players every day, you can’t tell they move and dribble differently? How oblivious can you be.

Please stay away, they have many psychologists working on how to keep players hooked, whether it’s the noises of opening of packs, the sounds of getting coins after you sell a pack or player, all has to do with the mental reward system.

I have spent plenty of money to have had all the best players, I’ve had 93 gullit, 91 vieira, 94 Ronaldo, it’s not worth it, the game is not solely based on your performance, they have their way of turning the game against you, so you sell your players (while losing coins thanks to the “ea tax”) and before you know it your 2 million coin player dwindles you down to 1.2 million, and you’re still not satisfied with any of your players.

On my mothers life, stay away from this game.

Can y’all fix the damn camera for GKs? It looks like im playing with a striker but im a f*** GK. It was good at the start but y’all ruined after that sh*** patch and never seen to fix it

The game is unplayable the mechanics of the passes are the worst through all the fifa .The cards do not show the real stats because some defenders like Varane , Kimbepe and more have the same pace as big pace players like Neymar. For me 5/10 this years fix the game we all enjoy playing fifa but when the mechanics and the cards do not work propertly it makes me mad like the most players!!!!!!

FIFA22 is just unenjoyable at this point because playing divisions you cant get relegated, which means your stuck playing against sweaty players with better teams than you constantly. its rare I win a game because I'm having to leave during most game as its near enough impossible to score let alone defend a goal. In conclusion matchmaking needs a fix and online divisions needs a to have a relegation system because I'm finding it so hard to enjoy this game.

Without a doubt this has become a terrible game. I have been playing fifa since 1998 and it has struck me how the game is manipulated over the last couple of years. I am starting to believe they keep track of how likely you are to buy/play the game and deliberatly force a win or a lose for you or the opponent. To be honest I have sworn to not play this game over a thousand times and each time I let myself get tricked into it again and again. The fact that you cannot start an online game without spinning the wheel of (mis)fortune and hope you are not handicaped with retarded players all of a sudden leads to the conclusion that this is not a football game but a gambling game. Skills and ranking have no meaning anymore.
When playing offline matches you are able to change the personal and CPU error/succes rates and I start to believe this is manipulated when playing online vs another player. Whenever I win or lose I always have a look to what my opponent winn-draw-lose stats are and I was surprised with what I saw. Bad players that have a 27-1-1 stat raise some questions about the integrity of the game.

FIFA 22 has lots of issues. The passing system sucks, frustrating to see passes go to different players than where you intend, shooting is the worse. This year the Meta is just a cheat especially with players Messi and co scoring unrealistic goals from outside the box. Please take off those time finishing and Metas you added and ruined our game. Most of all build a new game on Unreal Engine 5. Challenge yourselves EA as this game looks good graphically but it is still not true next-gen. Player movement doesn't look organic at all, they look robotic. We are providing all this feedback not only to insult you but to help you make a better game. Please listen to us the fans as some of us a professional soccer players or of some division and some bugs or scripting in the game don't look good at all. Please the scripting is not the best this year

Change game Engine, Add more commentators and reduce Meta
In my honest opinion, I will give credit to the graphic for FIFA 22 but they still do not look like true next-Gen characters. Most of their movements are not organic but more robotic. The Meta system in this game is not favorable, especially the long-distance shooting. It does not seem very realistic to me as in real life players barely score from long distances. I know and appreciate the fact that this year EA improved the Goalkeepers, but a certain goal that they still allow in are honest pathetic. This year's game is super slow and the scripting is still not the best so if you guys can just at least try to change to a new engine may be unreal 5 now that we are leaning towards true Next-Gen games. I would also like to see more commentary or commentators added in this game, not just the 2 we've had since FIFA 20, I know once is replaced this year. Lastly, I also suggest that more features, especially for the gameplay are added and not only that but time finishing should be taken off the game or reduce the effectiveness of it as it is sometimes abused by people who master it. Why do my youth players in carreer mode don't get any numbers and names on their shirt when they get promoted to the first squad? Players that I bought do get a number, so I think something goes wrong with promoting youth players. I now do have 6 players with an empty shirt. Do others have the same issue?

This game is total bullis***, for the first few weeks after releasing it it was different, after probably a month they put that same s**** update from FIFA 21 back in the game just because they’re too f*** lazy to create a better game, y’all should be f*** ashamed, all y’all care about is graphic but y’all don’t give a f*** about the actual gameplay, s*** we actually use, mannnn, It’s crazy how whether you’re good at the game or not there’s this one game that you’re gonna play its almost like it’s not you playing, they’re making you do most of the stuff just so they can make you either win or lose depends on how they f*** want. I’m proud to say I don’t give a f*** about that trashy s*** no more, so y’all can ban me from playing it, I still won’t give a s***. Take a few years to make the next Fifa then a few more years to test it before releasing it bozos. Clowns.

absolutely shocking. only good thing about the game is when youre not in a match, unless there is a major nerf in most defenders that are insanely buffed i wont be playing games

best part about this game so far is that you can uninstall it, best feature imo.

FIFA has finally achieved, they have literally reverted the game to PES, essentially their success is because they WEREN’T PES. This is the last FIFA I will ever buy and have reverted to 2018 as it was the last iteration that worked. FIFA has now released a title where you CANNOT tackle, you CANNOT guarantee a clean sheet, EVEN against a team three leagues lower because the developers have tried to be too clever, I have played elite for several years’ and now I may as well be a beginner … well done FOIFA you have finally cured me of your game. And judging by all the reviews and feedback, I am not the only one who has had enough of you, looki mg forward to another developer producing a football game as they will wipe the floor with your pathetic and ridiculous game … so angry I spent so much money on your game.

I am not new to EA Sports Fifer games. I have been paying since 1998! I purchased Fifer 22 in November 2021 for my PS4. I consider myself an average skilled player! A former amateur soccer player with a good sense of indoor and outdoor games!
To be fair in this review, I compliment EA for the graphics, but that’s all! The game is extremely slow and scripting although necessary, is out-of-control and poorly programmed. As in many social medial comments and videos, the percentage of losses supersedes the wins by far. I only had 4 wins in 9 hours of paying time and only one opponent played a full match, all others quit before the end of first half! This is very common! Does it sound familiar? All other matches were losses by at least 3 goals, and sometimes by ridiculous scores.
Winning is nice, but more importantly is to have fun, which it is impossible! A good example, EA will slow down your Mbbapé with 94 pace and sometimes he can be easily stopped by a random defender, or all of your shots are blocked, excessive off-sides, mysterious penalties, slow moving defenders, bad positioned goalies or better yet, scripting will help your opponent score by creating a visible gap in front of your big box “inviting” your opponent to either to take a shot or come inside the big box to score! You have no way to defend, scripting will make your defenders to spread out, your slide tackle will not work, attempts to switch to a closest defender will not work!
My only concern is the excessive number of losses combined with the inability to make any plays, fo instance, purposely slowing down passes and positioning, inexplicable mistakes, through balls that never work, making the game unplayable!
If EA cared about my feedback, I would say this: Winning and losing should be balanced, allow players to enjoy the game by enabling the use of skill moves and intelligent plays! Don’t attempt to make it like a real soccer match, because, playing the game virtually is different than playing a real soccer game.
There is much more I could say, but, I will end on this note:
I JUST UNISTALLED AND RETURNED FIFA 22 BACK TO AMAZON! NO REGRETS!

I’m over this , have just failed in playoffs again and since the beginning of the game have only made finals twice having tried every attempt available. I’m a bit above average but definitely not elite and usually achieved gold level in weekend leagues past. I like the challenge of playing fut champs but for whatever reason this year EA has taken away any hope of playing champs. I was never really winning most of my games in the first 10 anyway and by losing access to champs rewards and red picks I’m just drifting further and further from the pack every week. How is this system any good?

I thought fifa 21 was a good game, it was enjoyable, but this one is utter utter s***. The gameplay is so slow, defending is woefully bad, it benefits skills over actual football. Through ball passing no longer exists because everytime I press through ball it goes straight to the opposition, it’s almost like they have tried to make the game worse, I don’t understand how it can be this bad after a decent Fifa 21

I hoped they had learnt their lessons from FIFA21 (easily the worst game I've played) and I saw hope when they heavily marketed that they had fixed the goalkeeper bugs (surprised they never patched it up). Oh how wrong I was.
The game is boring at best and infuriating at worst. In FIFA21, games would finish 5-4, 6-5, etc and this year its constantly 3-2. Defence is non existant and a 0-0 or even 1-0 is impossible. Every season in career mode I end up with the most goals scored/conceded regardless of league position. In attack, the same holes appear every year to exploit and in defence don't bother controlling them the attacker glides through to score past a keeper who tries to unnaturally keep his hands/feet away from the ball.

Never giving this disgusting company a penny again just tired of this blatant scripted gameplay it’s tiring, mental torture.
Why are they getting away with this horrible coded rigged game. Please EA guys, bring back the leaderboard for manual players in seasons!!! You destroyed a huge community of manual only players. I play manual since the beginning of the title. And i am very disappointed like a thousand others.

I hope that they delete the fut champs play offs in next fifa's, otherwise I will never play or buy fifa ever again. This mode is way too hard for normal players and therefore I cannot play fut champs and enjoy the game to the fullest. Fut champs is the only fun part of fifa for years and now it is impossible for me and many other players to enjoy this game.

Have never played such an awful game, Im real fun of fifa buying every year the game like a damn masochist, the game is unbalanced a 79 traore is better then any player in the game so much special cards which make no sense if a football player farts on the field yall makin him special card like chill with it. the game itself has so many bugs the game is broken as hell and god damnit yall there in ea makin so much money off this game have servers in the middle east why I need to pray to play in 60 ms servers. Its the worst series of Fifa. Fifa 22 is unreal!!! The players end of the game play faster then Maradona and they skills is just sick!!! I stop playing I m so nervous!!! And having result 1-0 or not to loose one goal is almost impossible...mostly my Hames is 3-2 4-3... 7-3 hockey game???? Everything what I want to read is bad and negative! In manager option almost nothing is changing!!! I'm buying every year same game eith worst quality!!! What is wrong with this guys which create this game???? I don’t know about anyone else, but this game is pure crap. The updates don’t seem to do anything. I wouldn’t be surprised if they actual didn’t do any updates.
Kicking the ball, running, skills, controls of player on the ball, control of players, all tackling is s***. The players keep running past the ball or goes through there legs and don’t kick it or ball the in the right direction you choice it to go.
When I do a through ball or lob the player I want on it will leave it, run past it, or an other random player on my team will go to it when I’m not controlling that player.
Also doing skills on the ball, jockey and Basic control of players is crap. You can’t control them, can’t do skills and jockey doesn’t work, you jockey and go to tackle you miss the player! the ball! and your player just goes past the oppositions player. Is stupid no Direction or control in the game.

The control is supper bad, they need to do a lot more.

I agree the EA need to be sued for lack of lies, and fake game adverts of the game. It’s show how good the game is and realistic but there nothing realistic about this game. Everything is off, unstable and no direction and control of players in the game.

This is the most scripted Fifa ever. Its unreal, 5 times against only the goalkeeper and nothing he save it all. And then one counter attack one shot outside of the penalty box an he score. Goalkeepers sometimes are like alien save everything

Hi all, for e last time I m urging u all to skip this game. I won’t be playing this s*** anymore from now on. Remember, they don’t care about gaming experiences, so we shouldn’t do. Don’t let these ass drive nice car eat good food when there is literally ZERO effort to make it a good and earn such life.

It is beyond belief how bad this game is.. I was so hopeful at the start of Fifa 22 that it's improved but here we are again with the exact same issues as the last few years.
EA Sports should be brought to court and sued for what they do to their customers.
This game is the biggest source of decay for my mental health, it constantly makes me angry and ruins my weekend.
I love football, and I loved the old Fifas, but recently the games are pure toxic.
The servers are tragic, the game lag is the worst I've ever seen. The compensation lag is disgusting, being punished for other peoples poor connection.
It takes players an age to control a ball, at least 2 or 3 touched to take it down, professional footballers?? All the time??

The player switching is the worst in any fifa ever, the hardest player to get is the player you want ALWAYS. Press L1 at least 3 times Everytime. The triangle over their head for next player means nothing, press L1 and switches to someone else anyway. The new L3 switching the single stupidest idea Fifa have had in recent years, totally useless.
If the opposition is in my box and I have one CB that could stop the shot, I have zero chance of being able to select him. It always gives you the LB or other CB and I genuinely can't understand how they could have got the coding so wrong every single year..
Yet again EA have prioritized money and in-play transactions over delivering a quality game for their persistently loyal fanbase. They are a disgrace of a company and yet another year where I have to stop playing for the sake of my mental health. Disgusting.

Why all these dumb executives are EA doesn’t understand? What we players want is good and fair (to the best effort) game play!!! We need game play that doesn’t consist of Dynamic play, stupid overloaded unrealistic tactics and bloody kick off. I m more than will to pay to improve my squad if there are certain area that I think I need to improve. But knowing I have so many things to clear inclusive of the stupid serve problem, even every pack I open every week consist of mbappe, Messi, ginola, I won’t be playing this s*** too cos I know, these players doesn’t help me improve my game dramatically with all these overloaded variable factors to clear. Seriously, what kind of dumb ass that creates game doesn’t know, GAME Play is the most important thing! Even if e graphic is not what stupid hyper motion, we will still be more than willing to buy because of the game play. Seriously these dumb asses.

I dont know how u did this patch, but u ruin the game, its like fifa21 all over again, but worst, the ref dont see any thing as a fault, even if his leg come out, "go play, all's good", pass sistem is the worst i ever seen, the handicap make it even worst, this auto block its like playing 70% NPC's and 30% with a real person, u dont need to know how to defend any thing, they do it for, also every single time i do or all other players do a long shot near the box its goal, in real life this dont happen.

I really urge all to quit playing this game. It bring me nothing but anger. It creates toxic in us. Temper Elevated after playing and I tend to vent my anger somewhere thereafter example my controller. What’s the point? We have better things to do in life then getting angry from playing game. Best part, we like idiots get angry, they r happily collecting their money.

In career mode the referee have always a same face. At penalty when I move the controller for example to right the keeper does not move, and actually doesn't matter which direction I move the controller it seems not recognize it in time. I have an almost new controller 3 month old and also more than 1 year old, but same issue on both. Also the goal keeper many times just leans to the right or left but does not move towards the ball.
The movement of the fans went pretty badly. In 2021 it is unbelievable to make a good game. I am very disappointed.

Once I start scoring against my opponent they begin to slide tackle on every possession and even though they dont hit the ball (all body contact) the ref does not call it. If this can be fixed please that would be great

Thanks for not uploading my comment, but this game still 5uck5,shame on you,did you ever watch football game, never mind played, for some of us this game is more than that, for some of us football is life, we live for weekends and our clubs game, you are teaching kids that everything is about money and money and tricks.....same like you want and get from the game.....darn it put some emotion in it

I think this game is dead. Need to wait usually 1-2 mins before finding an opponent which previous version just took a few sec. 50% of the time, I can’t find any. And I really hope we keep it that way, to teach all these “directors” from this bloody company some lesson. Work harder dude to make e game better before you release it. Not every year coming out showing your face and give us those BS pitch that how good this game is gonna be.

I totally understand they want to make this game realistic cos no team in the world can win every bloody match. We understand. But overloading the dynamic sh*t in it MOST of e game?? C’’mom!!! Do they understand that when I lose to player that are legit better, I have noooo complaints. BUT, most of the time we loses cos these dude wan to play god and dictate the bloody game with your Dynamic sh*t and overpowered tactics which is not realistic at all. Seriously they treat us like idiot denying these is no such sh*t in the game. Look at some of the comments, we have to lose a few or a numbers of games regardless whenever we are in e new division. They seriously think we are idiots that nobody knows.

I really hope no one play this anymore, let it rot so they wake up their ideas and work HARD for their bonuses and come out with something better.

For 2 long fifa and ea sports have been aloud to monopolise the virtual football world the fact that there making billions on its users having spend every year just to try and make the same in game progress as the year before is just out right criminal and every year as loyal players (not threw choice) we stuff ea caring less this new fifa 22 is an absolute insult to gamers you have obviously loss interests in making the game as it get worse every year so why not give other game developers a crack at the whip I hope to see fifa and ea in court one day and be forced to give its plays a bit of there money back as you having been conning the players out of there money for 2 long and before you say it no we don't have a choice if we want to play a football game we have to play fifa (as you have monopolies virtual football) and if we want to be able to compete in the game we must spend year in year out every dog has its day hopefully yours is not far off

Fifa 22 has been the worst game yet. It not worth the money atm.
Since a new update has been made, the game has turned to be trash… I mean trash…. It should be in the bin.
Career mode and online. The players are so hard to control! Doesn’t matter what you do or how you mess around with the settings the players won’t move fast enough, they don’t keep to formation or what you put them to do on instruction part of team management, the jockey is s*** and they never run forward and if they do the ball is behind them or they run past it.
The passing, shooting, finesse shot, through ball, lobs ect is all trash since the new updates.

On career mode and in FUT the teams contoled by computer are faster, passing is spot on! shooting is amazing! players never have a bad touch! through ball and lobs are amazing!.. I have messed with the settings but doesn’t change anything or doesn’t work!. I’ve used new controllers and everything…

The tackling is crap, every tackle I do is a yellow card or pen or free kick. Sliding and standing tackling is always late! The tackling is poor! and clearing the ball is s***!. The players are heading the ball towards there own goal not away and same for when I’m attacking, they can’t get to the ball and when they do it never hard enough towards the goal or other player will blocked it.. also every time I have cleared the ball is getting blocked the same with shooting.

I have played fifa for years and fifa 22 is the worst yet. If the next update is s*** and doesn’t change the balling, pace of players, the through balls and lobs, shooting, player controls ect then I will sell the game and leave a bad review on every social media and news company I can find.

Do an update and change it back.

this is seriously a joke of a game if you can't fix the one part of the game that millions love to play online. This should have been fixed in the first week and yet as the crap EA you are its not surprising anymore. DO the consumer a favor and attempt to give a f***. for once and fix it.

Stop making fifa rigged. The game is s*** fifa is s*** because of it. Why is there always a need for me to lose at least two matches every season in D1. They want to make it “challenging” when in reality it’s easy fifa purposely tries to make one lose by throwing in a couple off shots when clearly they should be going in therefore losing the match and they also make the game start to lag like poor connection the players become stiff and slow and the game completely goes against me losing the match as well. I just want the game to flow like how I know it usually flows It’s highly annoying!! I will not be buying another fifa again after this you have lost a loyal customer and it will continue to be like this because this game has gone to s***. These issues need to be fixed. Fifa will go downhill! PES! PES! PES!

Crap, why is it that slow player keep up with Mo SALA, also the smallest players keep beating the tallest players, it’s impossible to score headers on corners.
I’m sure all the player have ice skates on and it’s a waste of time having a keeper in goal they never save a thing even with Allison in goal rated 90, the handballs are ridiculous might as well turn that off, and the referees keep saying free kick when it’s in the box, if the game is not ready to be released don’t release it come on EA get a grip it’s not enjoyable anymore thank for letting me waste £50

I love playing with the most realistic camera in the game possible. So the thing I'd like fixed is the broadcast camera. If you don't want to fix it entirely, at least allow for a bigger zoom out on the custom camera settings because it's too zoomed in. As an example the "Stadium" camera in PES 2021 is great. This should be fairly easy to get added and fixed. Hopefully it does!

Some things that I've noticed that I'd really like fixed:
- I set targeting to manual because I don't trust the automatic at all... yet it still automatically changes it in pivotal moments. Manual should mean manual control.
- The enemy AI don't change their game plan to adjust to the current situation. In previous games if ahead they would park the bus, if down they would launch an attack. This mean if you're winning, even against Ultimate difficulty, you can lame it out at the back and the computer won't do anything about it. This shouldn't be a thing.
- I get little to no help from AI teammates. I'd expect at least marking, intercepting or attempting to close down yet I have to do everything myself.

Pro Clubs - Or Not so Pro Clubs?!!!

FIFA and EA have made a totally unnecessary change to the Drop-Ins on Pro Clubs. Why fix something that wasn't broken?!

It is nearly impossible to find a drop-in match, whether you're a team of 3 or more, or all alone, even with a million players online.

Besides drop-ins, to find Division matches are also almost close to impossible.

The old method of dropping in, and filling a lobby with the timer was a million times more efficient and easier to find matches.

Please FIX how one finds drop-in matches and make it easier to find Division matches!
