Why issit on career mode the commentary say its a free kick when a penalty is awarded in stead of saying its a penalty this needs to be fixed

Hi, there is something I don't understand. The goalkeepers in the game are very bad. very good with artificial intelligence goalkeeper. My goalkeeper Mendy 91 but concedes a lot of goals.

If there was literally any other soccer game out there, I would play that instead. This games gameplay across all modes is absolutely awful. Pro clubs AI are some of the worst I’ve seen. They are either completely brain dead, passing it right to the opposition and refusing to tackle, or play tiki taka like prime Barca, scoring into the top corner all while totally locking you down on defense. Just make it more balanced. 45 and 90th minute goals are still an issue. If you are up 1 into stoppage time, expect to either lose or tie. Goalies are either ridiculously good or reincarnations of Helen Keller, there is no in between. I can miss 5 1on1s in a game Bc of the other teams keeper, and then my opponent will shoot from 35 yards out and I just have to watch as my goalie stands there and doesn’t react until the ball is past him. The worst part about this game is the passing and shooting. Once again, it falls on two extremes of being either way too fast or way too slow. My final complaint is about co-op online seasons. All I ever come up against is PSG. I’ve played probably 40 matches and played against PSG nearly every time. They have extremely overrated players (Mbappe, who is rated higher than Ronaldo and Messi who is also rated higher and has 1 league goal in a farmers league)and unless you also use PSG it is impossible to match them nearly anywhere on the field. The only way to beat PSG is that the opposition is so inept that they might as well set the controller down and take a nap. Otherwise, with Mbappes ridiculous pace, physicality, and unrealistic shooting they can just bomb it over the top all game and hope one goes through, which they often do. Anyways EA sucks and I hope they do lose the rights to make this game so someone other than a bunch of basement dwellers who have never kicked a ball before can make it.

FIFA thinks making players stupid and applying stupid errros is what will make the game more real. I will there is another football game I can just switch to honestly.

1.Playing switching is Terrible on defence they will switch to a player that is not useful for the situation
2. Player will not react to ball Infront of them just because you are yet switch to the player very stupid, will that happen in a real game
3. Shooting and passing time is terrible, too slow
4. Stopping a player in motion, and quickly enter the 18 yard box is terrible, the momentum animation is stupid, they will act as if they don't know you want to enter the 18 yards, then why am I controlling the player ?
5. Player are stunned as if it's mortal Kombat, and they will take years to regain consciousness
6. Player fall anyhow as if they have not eaten for days

All this is terrible it's still a video game for God sake, stupidity doesn't make it real.

I really don't get the player rating system in the prof-career mode on FIFA22. I played a match where i had 2 assists, quite a large of succesful passes, etc. Yet at the end of the game seen it wasn't in the pre match objectives i received a bad score with the coach. This makes absolutely no sense what so ever. I believe the current rating should, or at least could be way more interactive and real to your performance on the pitch.

Instead of using the current rating system, you could make it more dynamic. For instance:

The coach rating is on a bar that counts to 100 points.

Reserve Substitude Basic player Favorite
1-20 21-50 51-90 91-100

Instead of the rating being based on pre match objectives, the rating is based on good/bad performances on the field. For example:

+3 Assist
+4 Scored
+1 good pass
+ 2 Important pass
etc.

- 4 Yellow card
- 5 Red card
- 1 bad pass
- 2 bad possition
etc.

And have the rating at the end of the match added or removed from the coaches opinnion of you. I honostly believe in this way the rating would be way more accurate and dynamic as it litteraly reflects your performance each game.

Also, please add contract negotiations to the prof-career! It's already there for the manager career. Why not for prof-career? :(

Please fix the Singapore server, I have not had one game of stable connectivity on fut since the patch, constant delays made me lose half my games!

At start up for UK players. The union flag is upside-down.

In FUT please make the transfer screens more consistent and remove the buy it now from 'X' from the squad transfer views. I've caught myself so many times nearly buying now because I expect X to be bid, as you have to from the transfer market. Tonight, I'm a little more tired and hurrying to get bids in the last 30 seconds I just wasted 20,000 coins on players worth less than 1,000. Now very irritated I've just lost 2-3 weeks worth of coin earnings on low level players for SBCs. The second screen confirming you want to buy for 10,000 isn't obvious enough when you're making quick bids, and so many players make buy it now 10,000 coins, I'm sure in the hope unsuspecting players like me will slip up, and this means the buy it now option doesn't work in the way I'm sure it was designed. I see recently that you’ve raised the bar for rivals games, can I ask, what about the players that “ain’t so “ good? Football is supposed to be a fair and level playing field, how’s that fair ?
Also on the friendlies situation, how about putting a level in for those of us that aren’t so great , that we don’t get matched with so called super gamers that spend every single minute playing. Idea> when a player plays and gets to a certain skill level , he doesn’t get matched with those way below his level, thus, giving the not so good players a chance to enjoy the wonderful game.
Other than that , it’s a great game, and Ultimate teams is absolutley brilliant.. thank you, rant over!!

I think this career mode in fifa 22 is a load of rubbish as can join a team that's supposed to be in either of the European competitions but u can't play 5hem as it come p as you not in 5hat draw or competition as such I went managed real bets and sociedad which both clubs are in this years competition in real life but on the actual game there not

The manual jokey defense suck can't defend in this game especially on kickoff the just run in a straight line and go through the defense Everyone is now forced everyone to dropback and park the bus

Assisted jockey would be fair for everyone

With the manual jockey it has many bugs when m in front of the ball opponent doing pass, his able to shoot the ball while his at the back of my CB

Sometimes my CB just stand straight my opponent runs in a straight line and go thought my defense just because i am using 50 width

The first release of fifa 22 everyone was glitching the controlls tactics to assisted jockey that was a good sign to show that many players was not enjoying the manual jockey

Just give or offer a gameplay that fifa players enjoy to play

So fifa i don t what to do man like i am playing every but the game hates me i did have a match woth 20 shots on the goal but 0 goals and the oponent he had 5 shots and 3 goals pls do something about this

You are playing a season game and winning your opponent, on 89th minute, they will switch off their console, and the match is not given to you. You get to start all over again. And you next opponent decides to switch off at the 77th minute. This happens over and over again. Please EA, fix it.

Switching on defense is a nightmare. I usually use the right stick to switch when on defense and in Fifa 21 it was extremely effective. However, in most situations in this current game, flicking the stick in almost any direction pretty much always switches to someone to the backline or someone behind the current player I am controlling causing me to mess up my defensive rotations and positioning. Please look into making switching players with the right stick more accurate. It is literally costing me games because I cannot locate where the switch was made when I was anticipating it switching me to my targeted player. Furthermore, to make matters worse, the "pre-switch" arrow highlighting the next player that pressing L1 or LB will switch you to moves around so sporadically that it almost never gives you the next player. These two issues in combination make defending much harder than it needs to be.

The AI’s ruin this game, but, ESPECIALLY in Pro Clubs. They pass the ball straight to my opponent half of the game. Losing possession and costing me goals at times. Extremely EXTREMELY irritating. It got worse since the recent update for sure. Please fix and please stop releasing unfinished games EA. Will be switching to PES for 2023

Fifa 22….where the laws of physics don’t apply

I don’t even know where to start……

Fifa is just a pin ball game. Every single game there will be a “What the hell just happened??!!”moment as the ball, your player, the AI does something completely random/stupid/unrealistic. My faves are 1. AI standing completely still whilst an opposition player runs straight by 2. 70 rated pace defenders keeping up with speedy wingers 3. Playing out of your skin against players with better teams for 88 mins doing everything well, possession, great play, score a couple goals just for the whole F**king thing to inexplicably fall apart in the last couple of minutes as your goalie tries to save a shot with his face or something and the other team wins.

You do not need to be good at playing a football sim to do well…you need to know how to play the bulls**t…so back to my first point, this game is nothing more than glorified pin ball

This game is absolute garbage. Was playing career on world class and played against Man City and beat them 3-0 with my B-Team. Next game I played against a team that is pretty bad. I used my A-Team which had Messi. Needless to say they gave me a hard time and scored some suspect goals. Why is it that a team like Man City played like s*** but a s***y team play like gods.

I quit playing ultimate Team as well as its mechanics are s***. Navas cant make a save if his life depends on it, but a 60 rated goalie is making saves left right and center. Turning the difficulty to Legendary should not boost the AI this much. Get your s*** together EA. This is why no one likes you. You hire incompetent programmers who don't know the first thing about making a good game. You are like Midas, but instead of gold its s*** that you turn things into.

Can EA just get rid of the stupid rebound, kick off and horrendous free win to people that don’t deserve to win? Does these people know that whoever score first has an advantages? This is the most realistic football. A bloody goal during the game make a difference. So stop the stupid DDa, let those who really train to win or better player win. This is c***!

FIFA 22 is ABSOLUTE GARBAGE !
It is nothing close to reality, it has a ton of bugs and it seems like it’s a flip of a coin if your team is actually gonna perform like it should, a bunch of lag, if you play seasons, it sometimes doesn’t count wins if someone quits while getting their but whipped, IT ABSOLUTELY SUCKS ! I’m gonna switch to PES.

Normally would have high views on fifa but what a pile of shite they have brought out this year. I normally play pro clubs but its unplayable still!
The new positioning aspect of the game takes the control away of being able to pick your position. Every game i play i either get played on the wrong wing or if i opt to play in the striker role, i always get put in the wings whilst a shitty 81 rated player who quits two minutes in because they are shocking at the game gets the ST and that's if the game doesn't crash before you get into the match.
I hate the gameplay mainly the acceleration and speed in each player seams to be the same i have had 90 rated pace left wingers be outpaced by an 84 rated pace (i genuinely messaged the opposing player who out ran me 9/10 times and he returned the screenshot of his player stats, i even play pro clubs with him now)
Also if you need to quit for any reason most of the time you have to quit the game because it freezes.

I've not played the game yet but from playing previous ones there are a few things I would like to see back on the game and also changes (all for Career Mode).

1. Friendly matches

Since the pre-season tournaments were introduced, you are unable to play any other friendly matches so you either play in the tournament or you go the whole summer and not play a match. The older versions of Fifa allowed you to select up to a certain amount of friendly matches home and away and the proportion of the money are shared between the two teams. I wish EA would bring this feature back.

2. Unrealistic Pre-season match ups.

There are loads of smaller teams that never compete in pre-season tournaments so I don't understand why every single team that you manage have to compete in them. For example I was Ross County (Scotland) and entered a tournament which was hosted in Holland. The 3 teams that I was in a group with was a team from Argentina, Chile and Holland. Now Ross County have never faced a team from outside of Europe in reality so why do it in a game.

3. Transfers
I don't like how easy it is to sign players nowadays. I'm currently Swansea City and I was able to sign players from Cardiff City and Bristol City (Both big rivals) which is almost impossible to do in reality. I remember the traffic light system that FIFA 09 had which let you know how likely you were able to sign a player (Green- Very Likely, Amber- It's Possible, Red- Very unlikely). I would love this feature to make a return.

4. Managers having 2 jobs.

I've always found this feature strange that a you can manage both club and country at the same time. You dont see Klopp managing Liverpool and Germany or Guadiola managing Man City and Spain in real life so why give us that option in Fifa. I know you can disable International job offers before you start Manager Mode but I think you should be able to leave your club job if you want to manage an international team.

5. Be allowed to leave your current club/join new club.

PES had the option for you to request to leave your current club and join the club of your choice. It is good that clubs will come and offer you a job but I've noticed that it is the same ones that come up which reduces your choice. I would like to quit a job (for example Swansea City and join Maritimo in Madeira) and be able to request this to the board instead of waiting to be sacked or stay at the same club for years before the job comes up.

Honestly, I don't even know where to start.

I am a huge Fifa fan, been playing it since I was a kid on my windows computer but it just gets harder and harder every year to defend this nonsense.

Mainly I pay seasons online, so I will focus on that but really, you could pick this game apart at any point, no matter what you play most, it is truly useless.

Seasons online, firstly - pretty sure PSG have paid off EA here, they are by far the fastest, best team in the game without a single bit of real world evidence for this. This is a mute point but be prepared to face PSG in 95% of the games you play because EA have made them so good every Tom, Dick and Harry pick them.

The main thing that annoys about this game is the AI. From kick off, it makes absolutely 0 sense. Players just run around doing absolutely nothing. If you're in control of a player and pursuing someone out of position, AI doesn't realise that player is out of position, and cover, it just runs with you.

Long ball over the top of your defence whilst still in your own half? Well AI will just stand on the half way line, waiting for the offside which doesn't come and then loose the race by a mile because he was waiting facing the wrong way.

Forward runs.... A striker starts a run into space, you start your through ball, pass, cross whatever, 60% of the time the player that's made the run will just suddenly change direction and hide behind a defender.

Switching play. If you have a player on the FAR side of the field and you do a chip through ball, full power, randomly it will just decide that you didn't mean full power, must have been a mistake, so it just delicately chips it to an opponent's player near you. Does the same with passing quite regularly too.

I could go on and on but honestly I'm pretty pissed I keep spending so much money on such a shit game because I like football. If this doesn't get better someone is going to come along and take you out the market. Maybe next year I buy PES, at least they now own Juventus' name.

I haven't even started ultimate team and certainly won't be putting money into packs, it's been on a downward path for years and they don't seem to be learning.

It feels like my players intentionally sabotage my wins. There comes a point in a match where I can’t swap players and they are lethargic even when I do. They turn half as fast as they used to and when they do win the ball they freeze and wait for the opponent to take it back. Since the update I’m finding the game will randomly swap my off an attacking player when I have the ball and it’s cost me goals. This is unarguably the worst game I have ever played with the most issues

Propably the worst Fifa theres has been. I gave 2022 another try after the disaster 2021. But you just proved that your absolutely not capable of making a good game. was the last fifa for me. PES it is!

In career mode..the transfers are too crazy teams selling 6 vital players in one window to buy one average replacement makes no sense....it's about time you guys fix this in order to replicate real world football, as the leading fifa sim you guys say you are

Pretty bad game. Your team's AI doesn't play defense, they just run along side the ball handler. Your defense will retreat all the way back until they are standing beside the goal keeper, allowing a uncontested shot. The only player that will play defense is the player that you are controlling. AI will take the rest of the players out of play. So you will have to put up at least 6-7 goals to defeat your opponent. The opponents AI defense is immaculate.
Review is based on World Class difficulty.

This game is terrible.. last Fifa I will buy. Once again, the team selection in player career mode is garbage. Lowest stamina players are always picked. My character can barely finish the first half he's played so much.
Defending is an atrocity. And the press function is the worst upgrade to the game. If you change the skill level to learn how to defend (pro down to semi pro), you score 12 goals a match.
Whoever was paid big money to design this disgrace sure fooled EA and FIFA. Good luck to them both.

I play seasons online.
Please fix the issue in which I have to ask the second player for a mutual leave.
Check the frames per second rate and see it is stuck, why should I lose games because the game is so laggy it's unplayable?

Div rivals should be fair. Every time I play I get destroyed by teams the are in div 4 or 3. I shouldn't be play team I have no chance in beating. I don't know If you are allowed to do this but there should not be any option where 2 people can play at once in div rivals I. The defense is broken and so is the goalkeepers, defensive takes don't work and keepers don't even try at time they just stand there but other times keepers will save shot top corner.

So excited for 2K Sports to finally rid football of EA Sports. Long time waiting.

This game is an absolute joke. Defending doesn't work, every time i takle someone 90% of the time it'll bounce right back into the opponent strikers feet. This game takes no skill anymore, there is not a single keeper worth using because they're all. Except when the opponent has a full PL team with 7 players in the wrong position, and an 81 rated keeper will dave EVERYTHING. These are the teams i loste against in fut champs, while i win matches vs ppl with full icon teams and ronaldo. Just shows how scripted this bullshit game actually is. Autodefending is out of control, tackles don't do anything, and while I can't seem to score an inside the box open goal, because the keeper will jump 30 feet In 1 millisecond and saves the shot, I get scored on by ruben dias at striker on 0 chem outside the box. Not to mention how bullshit stats are. Every single time I load into a game champs or rivals, the opponent can have a cb with 58 pace on 3 chem and that can will outpace EVERY SINGLE ONE OF MY 90+ PACE ATTACKERS 10/10 TIMES. Its a joke. FIX YOUR GAME EA

So FIFA gets bribed. Everyone knows that. But that the rich owners of PSG could bribe EA, that’s incredible. Everything is promoting PSG around this game. Also, no team can beat PSG on the same level of the season. Sorry, but this game has ruined all the previous games. Don’t buy!

Absolutely horrible game. Always seems that In fut division rivals you’re always getting called for fouls and given cards, but the opponent and body slam your players and not even an advantage is called. Might as well just not buy the game, it’s the same year after year, it hasn’t changed, nor gotten better. Save your money and don’t buy the game. Unless you like wasting your money on packs to even try and get decent players.

Probably worst game I have ever played. I play fut and it is just dreadful this year. Every game I lose I have way more expected goals than my opponent. Auto blocks are annoying af, the community sucks and I just don't have fun while playing this. I'm not going to talk about the servers because I'll write 10 paragraphs about them.

This is actually the worst fifa I have ever ever played. I’ve been playing since 2006 and I’d rather play the 06 game than fifa 22. What an absolute piece of s***.. AI just stands around like a bunch of mongrels, and every time you pass the ball more than 2 feet it ends up at the feet of the opposition. Scoring from kickoff happens for 60% of all the goals I swear, and the latter 40% happens in the final 5 minutes. If somebody has Messi or Ronaldo, they just run right through you like your defenders are nothing. The entire fifa coding team needs to be sacked, hire some new, younger coders who know what the f*** they are doing because this game is an absolute piece of overengineered dog s***

Playing online matches is pretty dire right now. Not smooth at all and I have a strong internet connection. Played a game tonight where the opposition every time they got the ball my internet appeared to spike but when I had the ball it was fairly smooth throughout the match. Would like to think the other player was straight but had my doubts. It was a noticeable pattern. Not sure the match making is really all that either as one minute paired fairly okayish against someone with similar skills but often get played off the park as teams not matched and the balance is way off. GKs are always OP and make some ridiculous saves and passing is rubbish. A lot of the time in an important build up the ball dribbles off the players feet when a similar weighted previous pass found its recipient without issue even when using the control button. It is as if the game engine is rolling a dice and it is fairly annoying to say the least. Passes seem to not go to the intended recipient half the time and when defending trying to change and select the right player at the right time is quite broken. When playing one match the other player was super dirty putting in insane tackles and not on yellow awarded but in another match the opposing team had two players sent off for what I would deem fair challenges. Oh and the offside rule in this game is really broken as well. All in all not a great purchase and not that much fun because the game needs a lot of fixes before it would be any good. Online is the biggest letdown.

This year's fifa 22 is absolute trash, online play is unplayable, passes don't go where you aim them to go, defenders mysteriously move away from opponents, how does my 99 pace viniciuos get outpaced by a 78-80 paced defender, absolute garbage game won't be buying another fifa, 100% pay to win!!! Ea are money grabbing scum!!!!

I have been Fifa 19 for a few years now. I stopped buying the games because they were pretty much the same thing every year. I decided to try Fifa 22 to see if things improved......... I regret it. By far, the FIFA with the worst gameplay EVER!! Every FIFA had flaws, but at least they were enjoyable, but this one.... does not even have that. I am super disappointed with this game. Clearly, EA does not give a "F***" about their games and the people that buy their crap. All of you should stop buying their shit until they start caring about doing things correctly. Anyways, back to FIFA 19. See you guys until a decent FIFA comes out...

I have always played career mode, i think the AI has got progressivley worse over the years and needs a complete revamp. I always liked playing on world class level but its simply unplayable and the AI scores every shot it takes out of nowhere, when i change it to professonial it then just becomes to easy and i end up winning 10-0. Time for a new AI model. Dont get me started on the keepers, dumb AF!
It seems the AI can predict every movement on world class and then becomes retarded on professional. I even tried adjusting the CPU gameplay customisation bars in settings but even the most drastic change did not make a differnce. All in all the game looks great but for seasoned career mode vetrans like me the AI is simply either boringly bad or frustratingly world class.

Disappointed like always, this time had to point this out, what a scam with this icon packs mid, base whatever , , every single time the worst players ever, wonder how can that be even possible, just a bitter taste, not once to get something at least usable, you lot just scams, all of you disgusting, every year hopping to have a good pull but no, is like history repeating, for the past 4-5 years I had nakata, litmanen, Owen and Veron, reeeaaaalllllllyyyyy??? You lot taking the piss.
But do you know what, turning the negative into positive, actually it’s saves me money, because I’m definitely not gone spend a penny any more and also 2022 I wish is gone be the worst ever year for ya’ll at EA fifa because we had enough of it.

I would like to say that we as a customer buy a game in good faith. You as a supplier should give products as promised. But I see you don't. I wish to let you know that if all glitches are not rectified and given as a free upgrade then your people should watch their backs. This is because I will come for all who are responsible.

FIFA 22 is so bad. The jockey is bad, passing and directions is bad, the shooting and directions and curve shooting and power is bad. Tackling also is bad.

The players some are bold but in real life you can see there not.

They need to update the game, a lot of options in team management is not working, no chance I make work, the pace of players in bad too. So unrealistic. The worse game! Sort it out. That’s your job fifa!!!!
