Preben Elkjaer is to my knowledge, the Dane who have scored most Ballon d’Or points in total (141) (once he became the second best player- just after Platini). In the 1980's he got in the Ballon d’Or 'top 4' three times Also he was Verona best striker when they won the Italian championship. Actually Verona was so happy for him, they made a statue of him and have given him a honorary citizenship. As a fun fact, he became legendary in Italy when he scored bootless against Juventus. According to Wikipedia Preben Elkjaer played 190 matches for KSC Lokeren and scored 112 goals. He played 130 matches for Hellas Verona and scored 75 goals. He played 69 national team matches and scored 38 goals for the national team. He ended his career in Denmark, where he suffered from injuries.

Sir Bobby Charlton was arguably Manchester United's greatest player ever. His trophies include a Ballon d'Or, a footballer of the year, a world cup, a European league cup/ champions league trophy, and three league cups. Just the first three trophies are way worthy enough for an icon in my eyes. He scored 141 goals in 467 recorded games, which is pretty impressive for a midfielder. He only had 5 registered assists. I don't know if thats true, it sounds pretty crazy, but I don't think that doesn't make him worthy of an icon.
Dear worker, Why isn't Alex de Souza as an icon? He is brilliant angle brazilian soccer, he is important for brazilian football, a football player who is the idol of many players Neymar, Ronaldinho etc.

He is became assist leader of cl 2007/2008 without play in semi final and final. He has 170 goals in 360 matches in Super Lig. Alex De Souza please. He’s a legend both in Brazil and Turkey. He’s a very unique player and deserves to be an Icon.
Alex de Souza for sure. He was idol in Palmeiras, Coritiba , Cruzeiro and Fenerbahce. He was a very intelligent and classic midfielder and scored 423 gols on his career.

Bring back Robbie Fowler nick named (God) he was an icon but they didn’t put his headering up 94 he wasn’t tall but scored so many headers he had strength and power 86 91 and 93 icon moments plus Gazza come on lineker needs his buddy Henry has veira Ronaldinho has Ronaldo gerrard has torres I mean Gazza and lineker what a combo that is come on England even tho England didn’t win it I loved thos 80s and Bobby robson believe and Gazza was the man that would bring it home for this country that gave the world this intense wonderfully skillfull and passionate sport football it’s all in the game sure is

You are right. There are no Korean icons in fifa now, so ea should add some of them in the next fifa 22.
Willem van Hanegem, he is seen as the best dutch player behind Cruyff and van Basten.

He won the Champions league with Feyenoord, the Europa league, the club world cup and the Eredivisie. He was also key for the Dutch team at the 1974 world cup where the Netherlands reached the final. He also finished third with the Netherlands at the euros 1976.

Please can you add ronaldo (the Brazilian one) and cruyff to soccer aid because I want to use the icons but I can’t get them on ultimate team because I don’t play a lot and I don’t have money to use on the game. I hope I get fifa 22 for Christmas.

I've seen many icon wishlist videos on YouTube with many players that dont even have 100 goals as attackers or who got like 200,300 goals but in a more unknown country.
Brother, Adriano had his father die and lost motivation, and even though he had the talent, he admitted he couldn't take everything anymore and had to leave.
Mutu had all the talent in the world and went to mess everything up with his drug misuse.
I don't think you can compare the 2, and this is coming from a Romanian myself.

In my oppinion Fifa 22 needs ALEX FREI.

-He was the captain of the Swiss national Team and is still the Best striker in the Swiss national Team history!

- in 501 games as a professionell player in Swiss, France and Germany He scored 262 goals. That means 0,52 goals per game in his whole career. Not many Players are better than that.

- Fifa dont have a Swiss icon. They have for example Rumania, Hungary, or Russia. No big football countries and thats nice but They need a Swiss icon aswell. Alex Frei.

- Alex Frei saves Borussia Dortmund 2008 from the descent with 16 goals in the league and reached with Basel 2012 for the First time in their Champions League history the Round of the Last 16 with 5 goals in 7 games. 3 of them against ManUnited in 2 games in the Group stage.

We want Emre Belözoğlu! He is played Inter, Atletico Madrid, Newcastle, Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray. And Adriano Imperador he must be in icon players. Last one is Alex de Souza. Very spectecular player. Leadership, technique, intelligent. Header, freekick taker, asist and goal maker.
I agree Alex has to be on it. He was spectacular player. He had leadership, free kicks and penalties specialist, scored 423 gols as a midfielder and was very intelligent with the ball. I totally agree.
