-A more active touchline i.e subs warming up,manager shouting instructions when u make a tatical change, 4th official mainly just standing there and indicating time added on,physios and coaches active and when a player is injured the physio will run on also when a goal is scored or a bad tackle is made the bench to react accordingly.
-time and weather to be more adaptive to the footballing calender i.e european games to be played at NIGHT it just ruins the authenticity when your playing barcelona second leg semi final at nou camp in bright sunshine!!!!! snow and frost cold air effects during winter games rain and occasional sunshine during summer games, pitches starting to wear thin towards end of the season.
-more animation when you win a trophy maybe fa chief handing over trophy or someone important a bit like pro evo cut scenes.
-improve online clubs use the idea of football manager online having time dedicated leagues pre organised cup games with prizes, custom options create your own badge, colours, kit,stadium,name,allowed three star players the rest should be random to make league fair and balanced,3 points for a win one for a draw none for losing.

Please improve the keeper's perfomance, or lower the accuracy of shots. Scoring is too easy in PSP.

I feel a huge gap between teams based on individual talent. On Fifa 08 you could rival a big team with a smaller (but better-playing) one, but that seems much harder in Fifa 09. Individual talent such as speed and first touch give away many wins against the possession.
Poor level goalkeepers are excessively good. Not that is a bad thing, but it is unbalanced across keepers: a keeper with level 60 performs as good as a level 80.
BAP is a keeper, but make the option of having multiple roles p/ player.
Please punish the players that exit the game prematurely. Test connection of the remaining player to see who disconnected. Give the other player a victory and points.
More points per game. on Fifa 08 it used to be around 500 points p/ game in the beginning. Then it turned to around 50 and stayed there for Fifa09. More points please.
Please reward goals better. A goal is worth 50 points.
in BAP, a player who constantly is out of position (always running to attack, for instance) but happens to score is the man of the match. That is, of course, unfair.
If I have Adidas live season for my team and my team is on a good momentum and I play against a guy who doesn't have live season, I am a bigger threat to him and he doesn't know it. Fix that either way: removing live season stats from online games or give a notice to the other user that the opponent is using live season.
More live season options. Portuguese league is my request, but more leagues are on top of the request, I assume.

Or what really would be great, especially when you lead a small club in manager mode, is that when your team plays great and one of your players get selected for an interland then it should be made possible to play that interland with your player, maybe like in the be a pro mode.

There should be a new meter. The anger meter. Each player is given an anger rating. For example Wayne Rooney's anger point would be higher than that of Cesc Fabregas. And when the player is irritated (poor tackle made on him, or his team is losing) then there aggression gets higher. If the anger meter gets too high then they act out. As the player you have no control over the acting out, and your player could well be sent off as a result

Some suggestions from me:
- Some basic dribble moves must be able to be performed with the left stick. Only difficult dribbles must be done with the right stick.
- 10 vs 10 online team play lags most of the times. Try to resolve that if possible.
- Remove the option to play with assisted controls in 10 vs 10 matches. Only manual must be allowed in this mode.
- The pitch in this years game i think is small. Make the pitch a bit larger.
- League online making is not good. Make league making online with your friends possible.
- The speed of the game is a little bit fast. Slow it down for online modes especially.
- Make stamina have real effects on players. For example i see players in 10 vs 10 matches run like lunatics but never get tired.
- Make more camera options (like Custom Camera or something) or the possibility of using two cameras (Split screen!!! ).Hmmm why not.......
- Pro camera sucks. I suggest giving more options to the end to end camera. Something between pro camera and end to end should be fine for BAP matches.
- Players lose possesion to easily some times. Make them more responsive.
- Suggestion for a new feature:
It would be called like Playmaking Options and it would make players move according to your instructions. For example when the X player picks the ball make the Y player to make a run or support him from the back or ......
And finally to the people that suggest improvements on manager mode i would tell them to go play Football Manager. In Fifa the priority is the gameplay i think. If they get the gameplay (especially online) right then we can talk about manager modes (offline)
Finally the trend should be to make an MMO soccer game with lots of gameplay (online mostly) option like playing in small soccer fields 6 v 6 or 7 v 7 and through our games we can improve our players and stuff like that.
the best thing you could do is to team up with KONAMI.
pes 2009 has the best gameplay in all football games and fifa 09 has the best graphics of all football games. if you guys team up. IT WILL BE AWESOME......but i'm just saying. it will be cool if you have a 'classic world cup' where all the old legends team up and play in a tournament. its like world cup. but CLASSIC :P

These are the points I think would improve FIFA further :
1. Trying to introduce more leagues and stadiums:
-If you could try to introduce the Russian league it would make sense because it is now one of the top leagues in Europe. Look at Zenit St. Petersburg's progress, beating Manchester United! I think the Australian league needs to go now if you need to replace a league; most people will agree with that I think.
-An idea on the stadium front would be to have all the stadiums of the Premier League on the English version, Bundesliga on the German version etc. as these are the most-played leagues for buyers in that country. You could then extend from there in future games to include many more stadiums in all the leagues. Having the City of Manchester Stadium is a priority for 2010, as a European final has been played there now and this puts its status up aside from the fact it has a capacity of 47, 276.
-It would be nice to see the Blue Square Premier next season as well; this would add to the FA Cup in terms of giant killings etc.
2. The commentary needs to be changed on PC:
The quality of commentary could be improved a lot: you have taken a step using more player names and stating players doing an action (cristiano ronaldo shoots...) but more names could be included and most of the phrases haven't changed since FIFA 07. An adventurous idea would be to have different commentators for different competitions, or at least a variation in the commentators say John Motson and Johnathan Pearce - League games, Clive Tyldsley and Martin Tyler - Europe etc. I know it would take a lot of recording time and the commentators' consent but it's just a thought and would really bring a lot of variation in the game.
3. There are lots of small things people have already stated in previous comments that I will highlight now, among other things. These things could quite easily be changed:
- The transfer market. Loans should be available all through the season, although less players would be available outside transfer window periods. You should be able to decide the length of the loan and maybe having the option of extending it as well.
- Bring back the Burnebeau!!! This is a key stadium in the football world and for some reason has disappeared from FIFA. Real Madrid fans must have been devastated!
- Substitutions. Have a cut from play, have the fourth official lifting the board, the loudspeaker announcing it, and the player's and fans' reactions to it. You could have a stat that comes up underneath the substitution text, say : Wayne Rooney - Goals this season: 11 .
- On the note of loudspeaker, have it reading out the teams and announcing the game at the start of a match like in real life; the fans should make much more of a reaction to the players walking out. I don't think any mascots and officials come out with the players either, at least have the ref with the matchball.
- The elements could be included in the season much more. The players should wear short shirts in summer, gloves, hats and long shirts (only for some of them of course!) in winter. There should be snow in matches, maybe also games being called off because of bad weather so there are rescheduled fixtures to add a bit of spice in manager mode.
- Manager mode. Since we're on the subject... different manager types faces, its been the same ones for a while now. Being a real manager would be a great option although it might not work very well seeing as you would have to stick with the same team all the time. You could offer being able to resign from jobs, although of course you shouldn't just be able to join a good team straight afterwards. As 'Greg' (1151) said real sponsors would be very cool and popular, although I know getting licensing would be hard, although the created ones are perfectly good this would add class to the game.
-Less generic faces. The famous players of bigger clubs look fantastic now but players, for example Morton Gamst Pedersen look nothing like themselves so keep expanding that area.
- When you sign a player make the kit number screen come up so you can select his number. It has long been a little glitch that the last signed player automatically comes up as number '2' which irritates a lot of gamers. You could improve that screen by having a rack you scroll along with the back of the shirts facing you, like in a kit room. Just a thought.
-You could have build up to big games, especially finals, like the coach rolling in, players walking into the dressing room, and coverage by 'EA Sports live' if you can't get Sky or ITV licensing.
-Lifting of trophies and the fans', commentators' and players' reaction to it, as well as winning the final in itself could be improved. Have a proper podium and fireworks/streamers behind, it would look much more realistic. You could have the loser's medals being handed out as well.
- The fans still need to be worked on - as well as the graphic image, the atmosphere has to be more aggressive and hostile in places like Turkey, have drums and big flags and toilet paper thrown onto the pitch, make it hard to play there like it is in real life.
- Make managers have more of an influence - you should be able to see them on the touchline shouting instructions. There should also be a keyboard shortcut for going to team management.
- Work on the usual - gameplay, more leagues, licensed teams, players and competitions as well as kits, accessories and unlockables.
Please take all of this into consideration it will place FIFA firmly ahead of PES and make for a classy game I would buy at any price. Keep up the good work!

manager. when you win a cup you should have the cup there and the guys giving medals to the
players and then the captin comes and lifts the cup. when there a player scores a goal the crowd
should sing a song to the player that has scored. when a player gets injured the physio should come if needed the pllayer should be taken off. also they should have the ffia world cup for clubs in it so if you win the champion league then you get to play in it and when youre buying and selling you should be able to talk and discuss
negotiations and finally before a final they should show the coach coming in with the players.

If you take someone on loan you can't choose how long you want him for which is ridiculous and if he rubbish your stuck with him for a season.
When you loan players out they never get in the team and you wasted a whole season as you can't recall players.
In real life you can sign players on loan or for free outside the transfer market but on fifa thats another thing they cocked up.
What happened to choosing player shirt numbers anytime u wanted in 15 season manager mode.
No youth academy, no training mode.
Every league and every international team in the world should be on fifa.
Bring back pre-season friendlies in manager mode and when they do you should have up to 10 game, choose if you want it away or at home and make as many substitions as you want in these games.
Bring in about 500 new stadiums, some have disapeared from previous fifa's.
Bring in non league to make FA cup more exciting, FA cup replays should be brought in and if you get to semi final the two games should be played at wemley, aston villa & old trafford or old trafford & millenium stadium, in carling cup semi final legs there isn't an away goal rule in real life anymore so get it right on fifa for godsake.
Stop players disapearing from every opposition team and never to be seen again on manager mode.
