also, with classic teams, would be great to have all-time teams for different regions:
you could have all-time south american, european, african teams etc

you could have dream teams of different eras eg. 1960s (Pele, Eusebio, Best, Charlton),1970s (Cruyff, Muller, Beckenbauer, Kempes) 1980s (Maradona, Zico, Francescoli, Careca) 1990s (Maldini, Ronaldo, Romario, Hagi).

You could also have classic teams of different countries' leagues. eg serie A dream team, la liga dream team, premiership dream team

theres so many things like this they could add which would be that hard and would give the game so much more.

At the VERY LEAST, all the major countries and clubs should have one classic team - i wanna be barca with ronaldo, rivaldo, cruyff, and romario, juventus with platini, zidane, del piero and baggio, or milan with van basten, weah and maldini....whether they're unlockable or not, i dont mind, but it would be great to be able to play with them online.

if its a problem with licensing, EA should just do what pro evo do and mis-spell the names, we'd all know who everyone is and could change them ourselves.

It would be much cooler if we had in Infrastrucre mode the teams from Manager Mode.

please bring Be A Pro multiplayer back in Kick Off Mode. cause now when I want to play a quick game against friends offline it comes with an error that says it is a single player option only. WHYYYY??? it was fine on PS2, but on PS3 it's gone. the only way to play multiplay BAP offline is in Seasons and that's only possible on the same team with the same players (over and over again...). that's fine though, but the old way was a nice way to practice the controls on BAP.

before 09 i said you you should make a manager mode whit more than one olayer .we should can play manager whit our friend

The game must be realastic . It's not all to create game without a good physic of the ball,player movement,expressions and more over the climate change. When their is player substitution their will be some close up shots.In pc playing fifa is meant playing with cartoon....!!!!!!! What happens though the grapics changed, it doesnt matter...We wanna play game not cartoon..........................

please put in practice mode and create a team. tweak the ai as well as keepers and refs. the keepers are quite good but sometimes they exhibit animated saves, like they do some weird dive when they could of caught it,

you could make better graphics when makin substitutes for example the camera shot jus looks at 1 stand then the players come straight on and off u could make us see them warming up on the touchline and the 4th official getting ready to hold up the numbers and then u could hear it over the speaker's in the stadium like real life. better weather graphics hardly see snow and rain even though u tryed to make look like we are watchin tv and try get some fog in there bring bk the old wembley as special add on or something thanks hope u like ideas

I think they should have retro teams like a 1998 Blackburn with legends like shearer, arsenal with ian wright, ray parlour. wimbledon with vinnie jones, spurs gazza. united with keano etc that kind of thing. maybe even if were pushin it, an old liverpool classic team with owen dagleish and barnes.

*more stadiums as playing in generics sucks (i'm sorry it just does) and you don't even have an excuse for not including them because if you can get licensing from the team then surely you can get it for the stadium as well

*improved realism in sounds (foley can work wonders here, even if its not as real)
*the statistics system really needs to be reworked, there are far to few stats and they should play a greater part in player animations and ball control
*STOP i repeat STOP removing animations from the pc version
*replays are almost perfect but i believe you can do even better
*improved cutscenes (i know eventually people start skipping them but if you are playing with friends or if you are enjoying your very first final against a great club these things become very important)
*overall realism needs a revamp (ambience is great in fifa games but i believe realism has been its downfall for many years now... it just doesn't feel like football sometimes, like some goals which simply can't be scored or impossibly accurate referees) more and more games are starting to use simulation gameplay... not to tell you how to do your work but i believe that if this game really is a simulation this is where you should aim, instead of prescripted animations

everybody missed something important, fifa future's games should improve the manager mode. they should make it more realistic, the coach (manager) should get offers from national teams!!! and put back the mode that every coach should start with small teams and the many cups they win the better team they get!!!!

Make the Transfer Window more technical, I think
Suggestions? How about being able to sweeten the transfer deals by sending one of your own players to the other team. Like if your Man Utd and you want to trade with a rival team (such as Man City or Chelsea), you can attempt by sweetening the deal with adding a player onto the Transfer Fee and the other team can decide pending on the players season performance and things like that. I thought that would be neat. And you could decide to permanently trade the player onto the other team, or to loan him out. And when he returns his attitude towards the club could change for the better or worse.
Also the players morale should have more meaning. And giving players Captaincy should change that as well as taking it away. For example if a players morale is really low, he could demand a transfer during the transfer window, and refuse to play if the window is not open.

There should be an option to go onto a classic transfer list,

I have to be phisically assualted to get a free kick. I have to tap a player when im slide tackling without getting the ball to get sent off. sort that out. its the only element of the actual gameplay that is bad, the rest is awesome though! apart from when you press the tackle button but instead get the ball anyway unexpectadly and it has a shot for you. But that is more player fault than anything.

I came here to write the EXACT same thing and I could not agree with you more.

How awesome would it be to take your club from 2000 and convert it to the 1 it is today. ie. Man Utd you'd have to manage all the players as they retire, and it would prompt you to Buy C.Ronaldo from Lisbon or whatever and you slowly build your team to the 1 it is today.

in fifa 09 everything was perfect. it was the best fifa so far, but i think they should have gave more achievements for manager mode like winning every cup or league:). i think the fans should sing some more chants. and co op in the arena so you can play with a friend. and also a harder difficulty legendary was too easy

While I feel there are many upgrades and potential new features that could enhance the game exmperience, this is my list of essential changes for manager mode to turn what is already a very fine game (probably the best computer game, let alone footy game of all time - and I speak from the point of view of a PES convert!) into a gamer's dream.
1. Matchplay Issue – Selecting a new player when defending (not in possession of the ball). As things stand, when attempting to switch to a more logical choice of player (i.e one who is goal side of the ball) control of the wrong player is nearly always the outcome. This is the singularly most annoying issue with the game.
2. Matchplay Issue - When a ball is fed in to another player, especially the strikers, sometimes control of their movement ceases as they stand routed to the spot waiting for the ball to arrive, usually resulting in an opponent nipping in to steal the ball before this occurs. Full movement without hindrance should be a pre-requisite in ALL situations.
3. Team Management Issue – After playing an FA Cup match (only 5 subs are allowed) the substitutes for the Premiership match day squad changes and annoyingly has to be edited and saved after each FA Cup match, if the user wishes to start with the same 18 all the time. If there must be a discrepancy between the number of subs used, then the user should be allowed to save his/her configurations for all eventualities.
4. General game observation - I take issue to the likelihood of perpetually battling with Wigan Athletic and T*ttenham H*tspurs for the Premiership title while the likes of Man Utd, Arsenal and Chelsea can only manage mid-table obscurity. I do like the fact that occasionally a team may make it hard for me to play my best but feel the teams that should be more capable of doing this (and on a more regular basis) should be the Man Utds and Chelseas of this World and not Sunderland or Charlton. As things stand playing Arsenal, Man U or Chelsea usually means a guaranteed big win for my team (West Ham, in case you were wondering) I beat Man Utd 9-0 in the FA Cup final on the hardest level for example and that can’t be right, can it? I also find the Champions League far too easy to win 95% of matches, then suddenly a match will be unbelievably tough (usually away to Bayern Munich or Juventus) which is how it should be most of the time, not only 5% of the time. I want to feel a sense of achievement if I lift the Champions League, not an air of inevitability, an air of inevitability that unfortunately extends to the Premiership, the League Cup and the FA Cup, not to mention the European Super Cup.
5. In game commentary issue – More recognition of the Occasion, especially for cup finals and crucial matches like group qualification (not always the last match), assuring European qualification and the possibility of securing the title (sometimes 7-8 matches before the season concludes) would be welcome. Also, if a player scores a hat trick or performs remarkably in a Champions League final (for example), the magnitude of doing it on such an occasion should be stressed.
6. In game stats issue – the goal scoring and appearances record for each player should be based on their entire career, not just the current season. Ideally this could be broken down into various competitions.
7. In game stats issue – Despite my team dominating the Premiership, both domestic cups and Europe none of my players ever feature in the top 20’s for ratings and none in the end of season player of the year and Premiership team of the season. For example, my goalkeeper keeps many more clean sheets in a team that concedes far less than anyone else, yet always finishes bottom of the 20 Premiership Goalkeepers’ ratings. Daft!
8. A proper close-season to buy and sell players wouldn’t go amiss either.

The best footie game ever with 09 but the free kicks were awful, why can't anyone score with a good curl goal?! always has to be driven. Getting past players should be abit easier, and include diving. Thanks

Indoor field:
Having a indoor field will give a totally different feel. Being smaller with no line outs (ball only bounces back off the wall), will give a cool "new" game play. It was some time ago, but I'm pretty sure that one of the first Fifa titles (maybe 97) had a indoor field as a cheat or bonus.

Traditional African Soccer (football)
Fifa 2010 will be a big one with the world cup year (in my home country South Africa!). Giving the world cup edition African feel (music, and so forth) would be quite cool. On a non competitive/professional level, it is often played by youngsters with no equipment (kit, shoes and so forth) on a dusty sand "fields". No fancy stadiums, stands, nets in the goals (if there torn). If the game can reflect something like that as a bonus field or something, it will not only be refreshing for the title, but also educate people about poverty and 3rd world countries.

on be a pro yuo should be able to join in with training excersisies throughout the seasonand also with the warm ups.

1. There should be varying weather conditions depending on the time of year. Snow and rain should be back, as well as fog.
2. Players should react to the climates and wear gloves during winter and short sleeves etc during the summer.
3. When a player goes down injured and has to come off, the medics carry him away.
4. The simulation should be better for substitutions. You should see the two players embrace and the player coming off be congratulated by the staff. Or if he feels he shouldn't come off then he should storm down the tunnel.
5. There should be a new meter. The anger meter. Each player is given an anger rating. For example Wayne Rooney's anger point would be higher than that of Brede Hangelenad. And when the player is irritated (poor tackle made on him, or his team is losing) then there aggression gets higher. If the anger meter gets too high then they act out. As the player you have no control over the acting out, and your player could well be sent off as a result.
6. Managers and staff should be visible from the game field.
7. You should be able to edit any player on the database.

The game is "FIFA", so I really want to play FIFA Club World Cup.
To play it, UEFA Champions League, AFC Champions League, CAF Chanpions League, OFC Champions League, Copa Libertadores, CONCACAF Champions League must be able to play.
I want to play World Cup and Club World cup with anthems and logos and so on in FIFA10.

1.More team actually i live in jordan at asia and there is so much people play fifa it is the best game i have ever had so in the national teams u should put all the world teams in the game even jordan lebanon etc.
2.When you play in the manager mode u should design the kits like putting sponsers logo on it and we should create a stadium.
3.make an arab champions league it has teams from jordan saudi arabia egypt etc. it would be really awesome.

more manager stuff, like deeper training, focusing on 1 aspect and stuff like that, give people trials, have incidents like dunk driving and pub fights, appeal for suspensions, training matches, show handshakes at matches, can make a custom face for manager, and of course custom stadiums.
