Your Ideas for FIFA 10

FIFA 09 is a great game but there are some things that is pretty irritating.
- FIFA 10 should have a much better replay option. The replays should be longer and needs ability
to save them on the hard drive. PES is light years ahead of FIFA with the replay function.
- More international teams.
- More build up gameplay.

Oh, and more thing:
An option to play the game without having to watch cut-scenes when the ball is dead. A free flowing football game like the old International Superstar Soccer series.

Should make manager mode more in depth:

1. Should be able to have manager mode with more then 1 player and also online.

2. Team Salary should be updated with patches and such

3. Should be able to Interact with the media, such as attend conferences answer a few questions about the team and transfer rumors and such.

4. Days should be simulated day by day instead of game by game, so the manager can have more time in transfer windows and to change formations and train team and so on.

5. Champions league would be spectacular.

6. Teams should be more interactive with transfer windows, should have an in-box with offers and other managers comments and rumors.

7. Players should get upset, ask for more money and request transfers depending on how bad your season is going or how you treat them on the team.

8. Player salary's and Transfer costs should be realistic, and also Team transfer budget and salary budget should be realistic.

9. When winning the league or a cup, Their should be a cut scene of your team celebrating, taking pictures with the media, players having interviews and such on the field fans going crazy, and possibly an after match conference with the manager.

10. Last but not least. You should be able to see your under 21 and under 18 Reserves and call them up if needed. And also have assistance to ask for formations and advice, and even coaching staff, And be able to buy new scouts and such.

Game play:

1. Should have rain, hail, snow.. such as the Euro 2008 game, which made Passing and controlling the ball more realistic. (ex. Ball would slow down when going through puddles of water)

2. Their should be cases when you pass back to your goalie and he picks up the ball, resulting in an inside the box free kick..( rarely but it should happen.)

3. When doing skills such as flip flap, scissors and so on... It shouldn't be done flawlessly every time by almost every player in the game..

4. Passing should go exactly where aimed instead of sometimes going to the wrong person when clearly aiming somewhere else.

5. Their should be some sort of modifier button to shoot the ball along the ground.. ( With obviously some failure rate such ass when running faster and such ball wont always trail along the ground or go where you want it to,)

6. Stadium chants should be loud and try to make the chants the actual chants from real life if possible.

7. If possible to do, make the cut scenes with the ref actual game play, and corners and free kick set ups, to make the the game feel more realistic.

8. I have had cases where i trip a player and no contact was made Ref should be able to call diving when needed and hand out yellow cards at times.

9. Players should get frustrated if not preforming well and have arguments with the ref and such and possibly lose their cool which leads to cards or getting sent off rarely but it should happen.

10. Hand balls should be called most of the time depending on where the linesman or ref is standing.

And last of all the 1 thing that would make Fifa 10 the greatest game of all time:

i think fifa 10 should have biased refs, and the offsides can sometimes be wrong, should be able to dive, fouls that arnt fouls shld be sometimes given. just add more realism.

WEATHER !!! i was looking forwards to going on fifa 09 and starting up my manager mode then having a good match in the rain... but it doesnt rain or snow at all. its always sunny. i think they should do something like make it rain sometimes and dark in the winter. also i know it isnt a big thing but where have all the muddy kits gone. when you used to slide around your kit would get muddy. now there always perfectly clean and i think they should have a a new thing on the staff upgrades... GROUNDS MEN. so when you have 1/10 on your grounds men your pitch gets messed up and uneven making the ball harder to controller, shoot, pass and easier to get injurys and gets worse as game go on untill having to re-turf it which costs a certain amount of money. instead of your pitch being perfect when your a low league team or even low premiership clubs. also a good idea i though was to actually have subs sitting on the bench and a look for your manager... just being able to choose from about 10 set models or somthing... i think if your a low league team you should be able to upgrade your stadium look instead of playing in the premiership with houses behind your goal.. i think the gameplay is amazing along with everything else but would like to see abit more realisem in the actual matches.. not another boring year of just doing somthing with how players ability increase and stuff like that.. also i good idea me and my friends thought about is having an end of the season lookback showing you all of your goals and maybe even some little simulations of new players signing for your club... PLEASE READ

I just want to say that i think you should have a bigger manager funktion and I also think that you should make so me and my friends could play a whole league online. Pretend that you are in a league and then you play league games, lets say every sunday as an example and in the end of this league lets say after 10 weeks you get at title. I also think that you should do the keeper more realistic. Sometimes he just stand there and do nothing.. Thanks for a great game!

show the controls in options for specific tricks for keyboard (e.g. for 360 - type or smth like this, or another trick : ->, shift, up or down ) ...

1. There should be varying weather conditions depending on the time of year. Snow and rain should be back, as well as fog.
2. Players should react to the climates and wear gloves during winter and short sleeves etc during the summer.
3. When a player goes down injured and has to come off, the medics carry him away.
4. there should be more complicated skills such as headers, shoulders, catching it on your neck etc
5. there should be an anger meter
6. there should also be an hand ball situation
7. more stadiums as some arnt includes for example goodison park.
8. more celebrations and more supporter involvment for example flares, flags more chants too.
9. get to see your team lift the cup and celebrate.
10. player morale if player is unhappy about not being played or overplayed or not payed enough.

10 things to add to fifa 10 :D

1.new skills for the arena (catch ball on neck,keepy ups whilst walking)
2.if you wanted to add a player or 2 into the arena for extra practice
3.new stadiums (especially premiership)
4.in manger mode be bourght by owners e.g AIG
5.different celebrations (when scoring the winner agains your rival club run into the crowd)
6.fans sing different songs
7.when players dont get a decision you could complain
8.hand ball situation
9.fan invasions in big situations (escape relagation)
10.watch the players pick up the cup

1: i think ye should bring the stands closer to the pitch like in the premier league and the nets right up to the stands jus like they are in most english stadia.

2: also have different shapes and coulors of nets for different grounds

3: more realistic cut scenes like when subbed, corner kicks, or injured

4: edit kits every season like in real life where they change sponser type and colour

I believe that I would be good for creating a system of choice of stadiums, in way that you could choose as the stadium would go to
look like itself when you increase the level of it, thus taking off the stadium generic of the lesser teamses.

Also I believe that the system of revelations of players finished getting worse with the time, since some teamses only have the capacity
of really generating realy good players (+90 level) and they are without face during some menus of the game, having only in the hour
of the game 3D. E would have to think about a way so that the great teamses, as its players will be if retiring, that they restitute the
height, so that they do not lose in agreement force the years if they pass.

A financial system would be good also a little more realistic, with extra rights of TV, and other things, and bonifications that the
leagues would pay its champions, being that if you do not have in sponsor contract a bond for conquest, you do not gain money some.

The return of the possibility of if editing the uniform of the teamses, the creation most realistic of the leagues of South American soccer,
and its championships would be also a very important addition, and also of the lesser leagues of the European countries, where
some 2 countries only has division or 3 division.

Another important point, would be the revision of the limit of proposal of wage and purchase of players, taking off the 50% limitor
and leaving that the value is placed of the skill that the player wants.

Oh and selecting kit numbers in manager mode and the Traits system. I don't understand why they were omitted but I'd love to see them again.

I'm fairly happy with the way things have been but there are a few things about FIFA 09 which irk me a bit. 1) What happened to the team chemistry bit? I thought that was one of the greatest and most accurate innovations of the franchise. 2) I've fiddled constantly with the sliders that dictate how my team should play, but nothing happens. In FIFA 08 I was often able to get my team to play mouth-watering football, like Tele Santana's Brazil, but in FIFA 09 no matter what I do they always play eye-watering football, like Graham Taylor's Watford (no offense). 3) In FIFA 06 the amount of money the club had, often depended on getting one of the sponsors bonuses. Sometimes, I'd be sacked for putting the club into debt because of a lack of trophies or loyalty qualifiers to pay-off the investment in players. Since then it's become too easy to hog money and talent; the stuff just piles-up. On a side note to that: there should be a better distribution of nationalities amongst players and (for the love of god) more realistic names. I'm growing weary of seeing "Oberleutnant von Genschler" and thinking (correctly) "Ah. Must be a Brazilian." Some kind of youth academy for the manager mode would be great as well.
The be a pro mode: seasons is a brilliant addition, but my team (Spurs) keeps on winning. Yes I know ha ha ha, but seriously it's hard to master the one on one football of that mode, but the teams just keep winning anyway. Adding cup football and such would be a great way of expanding on that mode. But that's up to EA sports and I'm sure they've enough on their plate already.

That's just my two cents, than you for asking.

There should be a world cup tornament, as well as an international tournemant, and when you win the trophy you should see your team lifting the trophy in the stand (wembley for example) or on the pitch like the uefa champions league. In general, more rewards for if you win a cup or tornament.

1. make the transfer periods day to day not match by match

2. bring in training but simulated training, i don't really wanna sit there two days a week doing boring drills

3. move cup games that fall on the same day as a league game to mid week. where in the world do teams play two games on the same day in proffesional leagues

4. bring in "ask for more" option as well as the reject/accept options for transfers.

5. if you fail to sign a player allow gamers to go in to transfer history and keep adding money to the transfer fee. with the occasional successful purchase. make it especially hard to sell big name players and rival club players.

6. in manager mode allow 2,3 or even 4 players to control more than 1 team over the 15 seasons. so many times i've wanted to play as juventus and my housemate play as inter in serie A and have it come down to the wire between us.

7. injuries need to be longer.

8. non realistic stadiums should change in appearance when upgraded.

10. at the start of your manager mode career have the option to pick a national team and play them in cup competitions and friendlies.

11. have fan fav players and bring back financial goals and fan demands and board demands.

12. in manager mode when i had a fully upgraded negotiator it was way too easy to resign a player for half the salary. please get rid of this option as i abuse it to make money quickly and purchase better players.

other than that i have no real problems with the game. any increased off field animations would be pointless. improve the gameplay in these areas and that would be perfect

Please can we have harsher punishment for people who quit online games in the last few minutes when they're losing. It's so frustrating missing out on the satisfaction of a win and means that my statistics do not get update with the win. Maybe a system where players who quit games are not allowed to play online for 30 minutes or so. Or maybe a star system, where people who don't quit games get a 5 star ranking and those who are repeat offenders get a 1 star. That way, when I am drawn into a ranked match against somebody I will know if they are the type of person who will quit.
Other than that, there's not much to change. Bigger rewards for winning competitions in Manager Mode would be nice. The longevity of Manager Mode would also be helped if it was harder to buy world class players. In a season you can buy world class players in every position for Liverpool, and I always find myself with players above 90 overall in each position.

despite the almost faultless 09, i would love this opportunity to put forward my ideas for 2010...

"ARENA"
Brilliant idea, glad it has been kept from 08, however i have one criticism:
Set Pieces- definitely in need of some defenders to add obstacles whilst in this mode

"SKILL"
fantastic potential on this one, yet i still consistantly find myself being tackled and hardly ever find myself "skinning" a defender and leaving him with egg on his face...i feel that a nutmeg here and there wouldn't go a miss!, and perhaps the odd OLE' moment...?

"FANS/CROWD"
in my opinion the worst thing about 09 is the lack of creation with the crowd, eg> when a team (in reality) is winning the fans of that team are going to be jumping up and down, clapping and singing songs bout the player that has scored...however all that is heard is the sound FX and no movement...i think it would be cool to see some of the crowd in actual replica shirts, therefore adding to the realism!

"SUBS BENCH/DUGOUT"
again to add to the realism i feel it key that we should be able to see everyone on the bench, the manager, physio, and coaches etc...maybe give us the option to create a manager in the same way in which we can create a player?...

"STADIUMS"
as much as i can try to understand that stadiums- to design, must be a pain in the backside...but especially for premier league teams i see it as imperative that each of the have their actual home grounds....rather than bolton playing at the "stadio del....(something or other)!"

"REFEREE"
I think it was a welcome relief to find that last year...at long last there was an actual referee on the pitch!! HALLELUJAH!!
But two criticisms:
1) the ref makes no atempt to get out of the way, jump over or even dodge the ball!- and when you really need a chance and it looks like your gonna get one...it doesn't do well for the nerves when the ref makes a brilliant DEFENSIVE BLOCK!!
2) Advantage is a wonderful thing, yet you will hardly ever see a ref (in real life) play advantage and then book a player...if its bad enough for a booking then it must be bad enough for a free-kick there and then!!

"KIT NUMBERS"
i feel it is un-waranted to leave out the kit number function on his game...i find it slightly off putting to find my new striker (whom i acquired in the Transfer window to be wearing the number"2" shirt!!)

"TRANSFERS"
there are a few things (small) that could do with changing but only one really bugs me...
--HAVING WON EVERY POSSIBLE COMPETITION THE PREVIOUS SEASON- I HAVE TRIED TO SIGN MICHA RICHARDS FROM MAN CITY (WHO WON NOTHING THE PREVIOUS SEASON) FOR THE MAXIMUM TRANSFER FEE, WAGE AND CLEAN SHEET BONUS, YET I RECEIVE A MESSAGE SAYING THAT HE WON'T JOIN BECAUSE HE FEELS IT WOULD BE TO MUCH OF A STEP-DOWN!, I WON'T UNDERSTAND IF THE MESSAGE WAS THAT HE AND HIS FAMILY WERE HAPPY AT THE CURRENT CLUB (EXAMPLE) YET I FEEL THIS MESSAGE IS SLIGHTLY FARFETCHED!!

"COMMENTARY"
I can understand that the comentators have to be paid, for recordings etc...and that poses a prob;em with regards to range of speech etc...yet there are slightly silly things said from time to time...EG
1)if advantage is played, at times MARTIN TYLER might say "that's a fair tackle, coming in from the side", with that the ref will blow the whistle hand out a yellow card, to which TYLER then says "that's a rash tackle", ANDY GRAY then adds, "they should know better than that"

2) as a Liverpool fan it really bugs me when for my previous two seasons i have won every major honnor i possibly can...and the commentary team still say about how Liverpool have no excuses now and how they must begin to challenge for titles!

"KITS?"
this is just a little idea which may pose problems with sponsors and "makes" but i think it would be awsome if after a season we were given the chance to redesign the kits, for our teams...therefore avoiding playing in the same kits thoughout career mode!!

"CREATED PLAYERS"
i feel that i should be able to edit appearance of my created player during the season in which i am using him...eg...hairstyle, football boot, longsleeve/shortsleeve etc.

"PRO SEASON"
my final point is how there is no mention of personal life, cars, money and popularity with my player...(OR EVEN LOVE LIFE!!) as lets face it that's what everyone would love to have so why not make it a small feature of this game!?

have a training mode, not only as an option but also in manager mode
the world cup played every 4 years.
be able to manager the national team
an all star team.
more celebrations
and work on the keeper, the reflection and intelligence

We never get to see the teams celebrating with the silverware they win in finals/league. It would also be good to have every proper premier league stadium on the game plus the bernabeau because its hardly on Fifa anymore.

Career mode needs to be a lot longer like the become a legend mode on pro evo! There also needs to be more personalised commentry or this mode to give more of a story model

have and allstar team, with pele, maradona...
more expressions with the face,
when someone gets injured, have carriers to bring him out.
more real teams,
more leagues ad tournaments: uefa..
the stadiums more realistic.
and the crowd also so they go crazy when their team scores a goal
also different times and weather: snow rain,fog
and the clothes, so there are more clothes to choose and not just 2

I really wish that there were all the original stadiums for all the teams and each one having its individual style of goal net just like in real life.
Also a better pace control for the players its too slow.

A practice mode in game modes. this isnt on the xbox 360 or ps3 games and is only on the ps2 and xbox versions. I would like to go into practice mode and practice my free kicks and such

And change the AI on the goalkeepers. They seem to have too good reactions its crazy at some points like sometimes when you are 5 metres away and u shoot they can still somehow get down in time to the ball (not that im crap :P)

Have like a sort of create a tournament in manager mode? because there is no champions league or Carling cup in the previous games, and the FA cup only recently came in for FIFA 08 i think. Then u can create a Champions league and play against the good teams and not have it called ECC and EFA because when you're playing it really doesnt mean as much.

Include the FIFA 10 world cup, I dont know why they havent had world cups in previous FIFA's, and no one really buys the solely world cup games coz u can get it all on FIFA.

The crowds. Whatever team is playing, have flags and people wearing those teams shirts just like in a real game.
And have managers/coaches on the side of the field just like in a real game

Larger budgets on manager mode. eg chelsea only starts off with about $100 million. They are the 2nd richest club in the world and all they can use is 100 mil.

There should be lobbies where u dont have to play against 5 star teams all the time

The main thing you should change is the title. You sould go back to calling it by the whole year, i.e. 'FIFA 2010', otherwise if you call it 'FIFA 10' it sounds like it's the 10th FIFA to hit the shelves when it isn't. It was fine when it was 09, 08 back to 06 etc because that sounded more like the year. FIFA 10 just doesn't really sound right to me, just my opinion. All the other ideas other people have posted are good ideas.
Lets hope this FIFA tops them all!

when you have a foul, and the opponents get a free kick, there is a cutscene where the goalkeeper tells them where the defence wall should stand right? IF POSSIBLE, add a small voice of the shouting depending on their nationality, but in english. (like cech speaking english in his czech accent)

Enhance the Ultimate team mode such as
- more players & stadium
- allow people to create their own kits & badge
- more editable option in "formation" area such as attack/defence awareness and position edit.
- award for the player who completed a cup tournament
- and most important, add "PLAY A FRIEND" mode in UT mode please!!!

I strongly recommend to increase the penalty for the suddenly offiline during the rank mode!

The most important things is, add the "invite to game" selection in the UT mode, and also add more player for buy, like the turkey league, portugal league, J-league, i think J-league is more more attractive than K-league!!!

and i think you need to reduce the power of the game play card, the most is the reduce fitness card!

bring back the option to build your own team from scratch and put them through manager mode. also make the offside rule a little more lenient i hate when the two lines are on top of each other and i was thinking for your quick match options you could choose the quality of teams selected through the star ratings and to select whether or not a second player can play instead of pausing the game and going to controls to switch sides. thanks looking foward to fifa 10

edit player you should be able to edit the players ratings full out with no restriction
in season mode you should be able to have team practicess, that you control

Mini games like training, like in madden. Also listen to your own music.

one thing that needs to be impproved on is the injuries. especially in manager mode when your player gets injured. the player shouldn't be out for one week and be fine after that. the injuries should be logner, and their should be set backs depending on how good your fitness coach is.. this would make it more life like, and force you into playing players out of position and adapting to the injury.

well the first thing of all is clubs you guys should make lobbies not dreesing rooms because sometimes you got to wait so long just to get a game, also while in the clubs when your winning people try to make a lot of subs so that the game would freeze causing you to loose. And if you guys transfer ultimate team there should be an option to play with your friend if you wanted to

also i would reaaly like you guys to bring a better pace control to fifa 2010 and also bring more international teams and please! out the real netherlands/holland with all the good players

you should fix the stadiums that are in the noon with the shadows its really confusing when playing with all those shades, like juventus stadium, san siro they are all in the noon you should make them in the day or in the night

also you need to put rain and snow while playing need to fix the goalkeepers dives when your close to him

leagues. More articles for the manager mode.Have real refs that are famous .Also have
more jerseys especially for goalies .Work even more on the graphics . Put Cristiano
Ronaldo on the cover insted of Ronaldinho ,keep Ochoa on the cover,For the USA put the
captain of USA.In the arena the 2nd player should be able to be the goalie.Have the
choice to celebrate without a shirt and get a yellow card.

I think that the graphics can be better. I am a really huge fan of Fifa. There should be a " Become A Legend" mode, in which you can create your OWN player. The managers should be seen on the side lines like it is seen in REAL soccer. Overall EA should make the vedio game like real soccer, they sould anylaize a soccer match and take notes on how the refrees react and stuff. If EA considers all of this and other stuff written by other people, FIFA 2010 would be the BEST selling game.

you should be allowed to take quick free kicks, and make jostling a lot easier

I think the game as it is is great. just needs a couple of tweeks.
I would like to see more if not real stadiums then generic stadiums that you could set as your teams stadium. Also Wales international team was in 08, but not in 09? i know they are rubbish but there are alot of worse teams too.lol i know its prob licensing things but still.
Also the skill moves could be simplified a bit.

Much more realistic manager mode, its much more in depth on the PS2 i dont know why theyve gone back a step on the next Gen Versions.
In manager mode when you pay millions to expand your stadium, to see it actually change would be good.
Realistic Injuries, i dont think ive ever had anyone injured for longer than 1 match.lol
one major flaw is that the game doesnt really feature the play offs!!, if you finish in a play off position, theres no structure to the play offs which is a bit event.
It would be nice to see who is being promoted and religated in all the leagues, so at the end of the season you can see for all the english leagues.
EA now have the licence to use FA CUP and other official cup names…..and we all know the Draw for the cup rounds is dead exciting, seeing your team being drawn against a big opponent, Why not milk the licence and have some sort of cut scene or something to show the draw for each round of the FA cup for example. nothing in depth just something to show the teams being drawn. add a bit more excitment.

Alot of the other things i had to say have already been covered.
I really cant wait to see what improvments EA have made with the new game.
