Your Ideas for FIFA 09

1. It would be good if there was a career mode where you start off as 15/16 year old in the youth team of a crappish club. You could then build your stats up either in some sort of training mode or for instance complete 50 passes to increase your passing attribute or whatever or 20 shots on target to increase accuracy. Depending on how well you play you would make it into the senior side however you might not play every match as the other players would probably have better stats at the start. All games that you are not included in would be simulated. You could then break into the team due to injuries or suspensions ruling out players. If you dont get played or your not happy with your club then you could ask for a loan move or a transfer, the game could also keep track of what teams youve played for and how well you did there and how much cash you earned. As you get better and better bigger clubs would move in for you and perhaps you could get called up to represent your country in world cups and whatnot.
2. In the normal manager mode it would be good if the sponser on your kit got changed when you changed your sponsers at the beginning of the season. It would also be good if you had a choice of a different kit each season, even if its just a subtle change in the home kit and just a different colour away kit.
3. It would be good if you could get your scouts to watch a certain player and report back to you with whether he thinks the player has potential or if he is whats missing in your team.
4. In the mananger mode you could have teams come in for you offering you bigger jobs. Also as an honour you could be asked to manage your country.
5. It would be good if the players in your team had team work ratings with the other players in the team. For instance striker A could have an 80% team work rating with striker B but then only 20% with striker C, so certain players would play better with others.
6. It would also be good if players had different characteristics and mentalities. For example a striker could be either greedy or unselfish. A defender could either stand back or charge into the tackle. Midfielders could prefer short passes or long passes or they might prefer to surge forward into space. and goalkeepers punch the ball away where others might catch the ball

please consider some of these ideas cause they are quite good i think

-Be a PRO=You start out as a kid on a fake college team (choose over 18 teams). Finnish the the season, and if your ranking is 1 you got to go to a 1 star team.And same thing for 2,3,4,5.But for every team you have to try out(like if you want to be on Club America, u should have to try out as if ur in practice mode and it has a manager morale and if u miss a shot or foul someone his morale goes down and if u get to zero before the 90 mins is up then u dont make the team and u can only try out for a team once per year.If you dont make it then a team can buy you.If u were too make the team,you go to reserve team.Once you get more experience u can try out for the first team. If you get a lot of experience, maybe a european team can buy.And it would be great if u can get sponsored.
-MANAGER MODE=Everything should be the same except before matches you should be able to warm up players or simulate the warmup session-Make players run,take shots,freekicks,corners,penalties,11 v 11 but use your team only.Manage International.

make mls teams better.... get different styles of referees.....kinda like how you pick the weather, you could pick the type of ref.... hardcore serious, or a ref that lets everything go.... you know.... a fast throw in button.... more injuries....

Not sure if this has been said - but im not gonna read 109 pages.
Not even sure if this exists or not already cos didn't get fifa this year gonna hopefully get 09 though

But there should be MULTIPLAYER LEAGUES - u get to either pick a team or get assigned random team. and then you have to play matches against other people at scheduled times. maybe 2 or 3 matches on one day every week .
u get to choose time slot and day suitable for the game once a week and ur put in a league with other people of the same time

if the other person doesn't turn up for the game u just play the computer - but the other guy team won't gain any points even if they win.

i don't no if this exists already but i really doubt it does.

its really confusing and difficult to figure out a way it would actually work and if people would play when there supposed to - but if u can figure out a way to make it work than it could really be good and i think a lot of people will play and u'll finally get a next gen football game

There are more things to corect but still I think you guys made an excelent game and I think that FIFA 09 is going to be better

you should make the AI "in be a pro" mode more intelligent

Fifa 09 should have more goalie outfits for a created team, also display a created players face, and team creast, Plus they need more game modes like player mode where u play in a soccer players life. The best thing is that goalies need to make better saves and better control for them, And to do more tricks like create a trick.

you should be able to bring up the keeper in the last ten minutes if your drawing

1 greater depth of stadiums
2 better TRANSFER market
3 youth squads should be avaliable
4 players should adapt to your playing style
5 more emotion and passion in important games (semis and finals)
6 updates of transfers, sackings, injuries, media stories

i agree with ed, u start off creating ur guy, go thru an acadamy wich acts like a tutorial and have like a final match were they grade ur proformance and then u get proposals and work up the reserves ranks and plays first team continuealy upgrade ur guy with exp. until he become the best of the best

more stadiums or even be able to download extra stadiums ie selhurst park and other championship stadiums and also an option to design your own kit for each season in manager mode

They should make tricks so that you can curve the ball in on a corner kick like in fifa 07 and 08

sometimes you guys ignore some of the well known players. for example when i play in the portuguese league the commentators dont say or talk about players like, Nuno Gomes, Rui Costa, Nani or any other important names in fifa. please improve the names in the game. also add more stadiums like estadio de luz, or riverside. and add weather effects like in euro 2008

i think that the transfor market in the manager mode should have a few more improves like:
1-trading players with other clubs
2- get paid for loaning out players
*and the scout option should be improved and it should get good futured players
*more sponsers for the money
*a little schedule in the main page for the manager so we can know whats the next game so we can rest our players
*we get to train our team personally

Have a career mode, where u create your own player, and just play as him, u already have this in teo aspects, u can create a player, and u have be a pro mode. However if u decide to add a career mode it should be quite indepth. you start in some club such as wycombe. If u preform well you u can get scouted. U should also be able to get sponsored... trust me no this one, every one i know wants this.

they need to include a youth accadamy in the game so you can bring thtrough your own young talent more years in your season mode and night games through the season you dont play champ league games during the day more stadiums real madrids staidum not being in 08 is a joke plus celtic park and ibrix should be in the game as they atre two massive clubs

1.I would like the controller buttons to be mapable by the player for the disabled player.
2.The player pause in muliplayer be a pro online match to only be alowed by the captian, and only when the ball is out of play.
3.Have more pentles for people quiting games.
4.changing weather in match.
5.Have a player to biuld up in some kind of rpg elements.

Good stuff for Fifa 09:

* More arenas (Including Santiago Bernabéu!!!!)
* Original shirts! They should look exactly as they do in real life.
* In the carrier more, some leagues starts after a transfer period. Start it DURING the transfer period!
* Better graphics!
* Some players don't look like they do in real life. (Example: Gago, Real Madrid)
* More hair cuts for making the player =)
* Stop making Ronaldinho so god like! There are better players.
* Some players are missing
* Have the same free-kick function as in Fifa 03 (or something there), where you edit the spin of the ball

- Santos (All Blue Kit)

____Also have the Brazilian 2nd Division so that Rest of the World is not "full" with Brazilian teams.

Fifa 09 needs a virtual match of the day which looks at your recent matches. It should be acsessed in the main menu. It could have running commentary on your players, style of play etc. Also fans could say what they think of your team, and what you need to improve.

Make championship players more realistic in looks and rating. For example mark beevers is only around 54 and he is short on the game. However in real life he is one of the best defenders in the champiosnhip and he is tall. So i think ea should go into. more depth in differant divisions that just the top flight.

It needs the riverside stadium!, ya face needz ta b betta!

1. I think the detail of the players faces should be more enhanced
2. every stadium should be on the game. it would take time but it would make it much better
3. linesman and real referees from around the wrld should be put on the game.
4. teams like arsenal finish 14th in my league in fifa 08 which would never happen so this should be fixed
5. in real life there is different atmospheres in different countrys i think this would be good if it was introduced.
6. the through balls and long passing should be made better as it is poor.
7. the volleys in fifa 08 are abismal, every time they go sky high so this should be ade more realistic.
8. fifa 09 should have more weather condiditons
9. there should be better injuries on the game, because half of the time it is groin strains, so there should be like broken ankles and legs, noses, fingers etc.
10. player celebrations should be much much more better, such as winning goals of games in fifa 08 they do the same celebration every time nearly, they should take there shirt off or something good like that, or obafemi martins and kenwyne jones style where they do back flips that would be awesome
11. more realistic crowds, the graphics on them are terrible, they should wear both away and home kits of the team they support, also scarves.
12. in real life the players gang around the referee about ellow cards and red cards, also players should also do actions and the crowd should react to it when a player gets sent off. like the crowd should cheer if the other player gets sent off, or even booo!
13. the crowd should go weyyy! when the team is winning and there team is passing the ball between them but not all of the time
14. the transfer market should be more detailed, and also i think there should be a contract sheet on the screen which you are going to offer the player.
15. all competitions in the world should be on the game.
16. when players come out it should be like real life, also all managers should be n the game maybe on the sidelines and bench, when there team is winning or losing it should show there reactions.
17.diving should be introduced to the game.
18. more realistic sponsors such as adidas and nike should be added.
19. pitch conditions, have you seen wigans, after some games the pitch should be get messed up, you should have to ay to get it returfed.


these are just some of my ideas, the will propably get ignored but i think they should definitely look at everyones suggestions. if it means taking a little more time to make the game then so be it.

go more into the player career mode, make it so you create a player and you have to pass a youth academy (which is the tutorial) and then you are given offers by clubs, the higher you perform the more attention you get...

4. Face in the game. E.G. Like what Tiger Woods 08 implemented
5. Be A Pro Manager Mode.
6. Include Referees, Linesman & Managers.
7. Different weather conditions.
8. Create A Team.
9. Have the option of using a created team in any of the custom created game modes.
10. Have the ability to customise your team/players in all facets.
11. More International Teams.
12. Online Play. Have a designated view system. E.G. Be A Pro Cam VS Be A Pro Cam.
13. More Sophisticated Online Leagues. E. G. Keep track of Tables/Results, Leading Goal Scorers/Assist Getters, Average Score Player Rating Leaderboards etc. You get the point. Much like a Manager Mode campaign, only online.
14. Ability to use your created team Online. The way it could work is if there was some sort of fantasy football cap which prevents you from creating a team of superstars.
In conclusion, these are only ideas and don't necessarily have to be implemented but something to mow over while you create what is hopefully going to be the ultimate Fifa Football experience.

free kicks should be as realistic but not as hard it fustrating when you dont score also they shouldn't be to easy powering up the shots on the free kick really needs to be sorted out

Stadiums for each club, world cup every four seasons and euro every two seasons plus qualification for that compitition, change kit every two seasons, that will surely knock pes of the market.

1.It really annoys me wen i do just 1 trainning session and player fatigue is up UNREALISTIC! in real life they train almost everyday and it increases fitness 2)andy and clive bcome boring wen playing for a while bring back the commentators from fifa 98 3)u should be able 2 make formations and choose playes for corners in manager mode 4)unfair player ratings -this is 1 of the major causes of people switching 2 PES u should ask pro managers ,pro players 2 give their opinions on players

powering up the shots on free kicks should be more accurate

3. When u do an goal u can urself celebrities like in Euro 2008 (try the game and after u have done a goal u know what i mean)
4.When come penalty , be aply to make an fake shot before u shoot.

i think the players should be more realistic. for example champoinship players who play for teams like southampton are only reated in the 50 + 60's. but really a lot of them are 70's and higher. a good example is rasiak he starts at 67 and stays ther for a couple of seasons and then dips. i would like to see him at around 75 and then improve. basically make southampton better . also refs on the pitch at all times. more commentators and more sayings , i am fed up of andy and clive saying the same thing 2 or 3 times in a mtch. better and more reaslisitic stadiums with fans etc. it would be good to see the camera going to the crowd and seeiing somebody like FABIO CAPELLO in the stands. also there never seems to be handball, indirect free kicks in the penalty boxes, more varioation with how to kick the ball etc. when you go to the champoins league matches there is no tune like u have on itv. you shoulfd also be able to mix and match the kits e.g home shirt with away shorts and 3rd kit socks.

i think it should be easyer to score from half way line, like fifa 2007 it was the best fifa alive.
