2. Bring back the option to make your own player the best in the league, people can choose whether they want their player to be amazing, average or rubbish.
3. More emphasis on exterior options such as player contracts and transfers, with transfers maybe give the option to be able to use the transfer list between the end of the season and the beginning a the next season rather than just skipping to the beginning of the new season.
4. I agree with the other comments that more emphasis also should be focused on international teams and tournaments, such as the World Cup, Euro, African Cup of Nations, and with these bring in the qualifying rounds too.
5. Team sponsors on team shirts, I understand that due to copyrights you can’t give people the option of choosing real sponsors, but when people choose a 'made-up' sponsor, perhaps on the team shirt have that sponsor on it, instead of having say, Chelsea with Samsung on their shirt and a totally different sponsor. I think this will give a more realistic look
6. The crowds too need to be more realistic rather than just moving all at the same time in the same way, say different parts of a stadium react in different ways. This is because when any teams scores the whole stadium cheers, the whole stadium can’t support both teams. Also maybe have different sections of the stadium, such as diehard fans stand, family stand, away stand etc
7. Not to put too much time and effort into just the star players, such as the ones on the cover, in the game ronaldhino is really quick but in real life he’s really not that fast.
8. In the game load screen arena , instead of having one person all the time, have the star player of the certain team you are player with, so for instance Man Utd would be Rooney or Ronaldo. Liverpool would be Gerrard or Torres and this will change every time you change team rather than having to go into the options to change the player all the time.
9. I agree with many people in this forum about the skills, either take them out of make them work, because ok, yeah they look good, but they have no effect on the players, you do a step over and the opposing player will stand there like nothing has happened, at least make them react appropriately.
10. I totally disagree with people that say you should put in diving, you’re not supposed to promote cheating in football, kids will play this game, see you can dive and go out and do it, they already see enough of it on the TV, you don’t want to promote cheating in any way. Bad idea.
11. Bring back the old free kick tool of choosing where to kick the ball, every Pro Evo enthusiast I’ve spoken to said that the old FIFA free kick tool was way better than that of Pro Evo and instead FIFA go and copy Pro Evo’s free kick method, just change it back.
12. Be able to change kit arrangements such as where to put the team crest, and sponsor etc and be able to change the style of the shirt, not necessarily the colour of the shirt but at least the layout and style. Maybe give the option to let people customise their own alternative kit for their team.
13. Have one on one training sessions with individual players in career mode rather than just all gaining the same exp points. So say if you have a young upcoming star in your squad you can harness their talents in private one on one training.
14. With scouting, have a way of retrieving home grown talent, leave in the option for scouting in Europe, Asia, Africa, America and then also add in an option for scouting for ‘Home Grown Talent’
15. When you upgrade your stadium, if you start with a lower division team they play in a rubbish stadium, and then when you upgrade your stadium manager to 10 you still have the same stadium as before. If you upgrade your stadium manager you should then be playing in a better stadium. It just looks silly playing Brentford vs. Chelsea in a rubbish arena.

- more realistic looking fans that wave flags and light flares etc.
Other things I noticed were the lack of J-League, and many Asian international countries, including the Iraq national team, which were the winners of the Asian Football Confederation.
Also, can there be a World Cup mode added, which makes an easy knockout tournament using International squads. I found difficulty trying to make one in FIFA 08, yet this is very easy to do in the latest Pro Evo soccer.
I have been a huge fan of the FIFA series, and I noticed a trend leaning more towards graphics and less on gameplay. In FIFA 06 or 07, there was a major graphics overhaul, but the gameplay felt terrible. The game seemed more focused on tricks then real soccer. The gap is now much smaller in FIFA 08, where the gameplay is nearly perfect and the graphics are superb. My best memories of FIFA were probably from FIFA 02 to FIFA 05, where the gameplay felt best.
Some little things such as diving should be included in FIFA 09 (if it isn't already) and maybe there can be less focus on tricks. Focusing the right thumbstick of the xbox controller more on ball movement and passes then on skills.
My main wish to see in FIFA 09 is the Assyrian club. Thank you.
Also improvements on the crowd would be nice... I know its just a subtlety, but its funny how
no matter how good the technology gets the crowd still looks like cardboard.

they should really wake up and look at konami to see how to make a football game
like when you score u see the crowd stand up right away and cheers
and also the ball physics and net physics should really improve....like i don't feel i am in total control of the ball.
Also, what happened to the indoor arena from 98. the indoor stadium was the most fun I have had playing any football game.
When a club moves into the premiership, change the numbers on the back of the kits to prem style numbers, not the generic numbers that were originally put on.
Make the game more user friendly, Allow people to be creative with what they want their FIFA experience to be, thats why this blog is here!

3. i dont know about other people but i hate players that dont look real where you have made them look random so much that i wouldnt play them or sign them so i think that you should make all first team players for the top teams all look real (dont worry about the reserves). or even do weekly update over xbox live making players look better.
4. as for creating your own player, i think you should use the xbox live vision camera like raibow 6 vegas 2 and scan your face onto as player, maybe improving on the system to make the result of the scan even better.
5. i think the shooting system should be improved because i have done some shots that look soo stupid and unrealistic, i mean i could have my back facing the goal and stil get a shot at goal.
6.i think they should bring back training mode because the player arena gets boring.
7. you should not have to unlock anything, its not like the shooting games when u unlock a good gun and have an advantage over over players who havn't. its just times consuming and boring.
8.i think the experience system for young players in manager mode should be changed by player getting experience points automaticly acording to there age and the time playing in matches.
9. as every 1 says more stadiums, at least half of the major leagues teams should have a real stadium, and u could always do xbox live updates for other stadiums.
10. i dont know about other people but i find the trick system hard to use because it depends on the camera angle what the trick stick does so i think there should be a system that make tricks fairly easy do like fifa street but not that easy.
11. i think there should be occasional offsides that the officials dont see and maybe handballs should be included.
12. i think the pressing system should allow you to pressure more than 1 player at a time so when u pass the ball to another player there will already be a player there puting u under pressure. and be able to make 2 players presure 1 player instead of 1 of ur player chasing him for 5 minutes trying to tackle him.
13. i think lobbing the keeper should have its own system, i want to score goals like fernando torres when the goalkeeper goes to ground and he does a tiny chip over him, i mean u can do that but it doesnt look that real.

maybe show managers leadin there clubs out when they get to cup finals or even show the managers pacing up and down the touchline when the ball is in play or gone out of play.
Also when the game is in progress show the referee on the pitch and show 2 linesmen on each side of the pitch.
1.you should be able to dive because it is in football now wether we like it or not alot of players do it
2. the tricks are wicked but when you press LT(xbox360) and go to do the tricks the players run to slow they are like walking i realise you cant sprint and do tricks at the same time unless you are c.ronaldo but yeah the players should run abit faster
3.there should be like a stadium manager so you can build a new and bigger stadium or just build new stands that are bigger
4.i think there should be a free kick thing like on the other fifa's where there was like a circle on the goal and you could choose where you are aming because i think its hard also you should be able to know how far away it is from the goal like "20 yards" or something
5.when someone on the other team gets injured you should be able to know what injury they hav like broken leg ect
6.reff's on the pitch and the linesmen shouldnt be able to clock every offside
7. goalkeepers should have more dives and like if they save a penalty then the team should congratulate him
8. there should be a manager traning option where you can train your team have like a training schedule and if a team are laking in 1 place like corners then you should be able to make them practice coners and set peices and there should be a general training option where you can learn to do tricks and improve your general play

the game would be even more amazing than it already is if this was in the game
The crowd graphics are terrible. Something must be done about that. Also, during short breaks (ex. throw in cut-scenes) it'd be nice to show some fans close ups.
Replays export and downloadable to youtube.
Would be awesome if there were a summary replay of all the weekly games in the league, showing the goals, who scored against whom.
