You should have the Argentina Premier League in the game. They have a lot of good teams.

1- Make crowds more realistic, when the team scores make the fans change from sitting down to jumping up and down, waving falgs etc.#
2- Get team flags back in the game e.g. in fifa 06 celtic fans had celtic flags saying "seville 2003", and "shamrock CSC". Make flags like this for a few big clubs.
3- Cinematic view of fans entering stadiums, on the street outside stadium.
4- When team scores, zoom the camera into a small section of fans cheering and waving team colours, not necesarilly team logo, but just team colour, e.g., if man u score show some fans cheering wearing red t-shirts and scarfs.
5- I have won 6 trophies with newcastle and for some reason the commentators still talk about how newcastle never win trophies, sort it out.
6- Make the commentators database VERY big to stop repeating the same sentences game in, game out.
7- Make fans cheering for home team very loud just like in fifa 2005 and for every away team, make the cheering quiter but still audable.

expand the manager possibilities in the ps3 version and for pete's sake add a be a pro offline competition like on the ps2, not this offline training crap.

8. this is annoying... the commentry,, they say the most stupuid things like its a header when it was a volley or if a keeper makes a save but u get the rebound in the comentater still thinks he made a save
9.dont make kits so expensive 7500 is way to high about 3000 for a top class one
10. in loading screens let user pick stadium... players kit and ball to be used
11.ive sed about the croud but that is the main thing they need more passion and realism ther not even 3D for god sake

fifa 08 was much better than any others in the series, but there are some issues which must be improved -
1) All Premiership grounds should be on the game
2) the referree and linesman should be on the pitch
3) more weather conditions, rain, snow, night matches, wet pitch, bobbles
4) champions league matches should all be at night
5) players celebrations need to be improved
6) you should be able to dive
7) more player and refferee interaction - e.g booked for discent etc
8) include a superstar mode where you have no control over who you play for, so you don't perform well enough you are sold and you dont have a say in the matter, some matches you are on the bench, etc etc.
9) the player growth section is awfull this year, as an everton fan i know the youth squad well, i completed 5 seasons with everton and after this a player like James Rodwell (who has been on the bench for the first time many times this season) only improved to around a 60. this isn't realistic, in 5 years he will be playing very match in real life.
10) the crowds need improving, more chants, better reaction when score, stand up sit down, show players jumping into the crowd when scoring.

sort these issues out and the game will be unbelievable and all *** who like pro evo will finally shut up.

There should be more income in Manager mode, not just from the sponser but from TV channels like Sky. You should be given money when you get promoted and lose money when you are relugated. Maybe if the game was more like Football Manager with budgets and loans it would be more realistic. Also i hate it when half your team is away on international duty, and when you play a league game on the Saturday and the n the League Cup Final on the Sunday, all your players get really tired. When players get tired there should be more effect, the computer just plays players who's stamina is in red yet it makes no difference.

1. There should be better runs from midfield, i usually end up with my strikers on their own.
2. Players shouldn't swap positions when they run past each other, i end up with Torres in defence and Carragher upfront. Instead they should just make runs.
3. When you pass the ball it should go to feet, most passes are behind the players and the ball is given away too easily.
4. You should be able to create new formations during a season.
5. There should be more team characteristics eg. if u r playing against Arsenal they should do lots of short passes and use the space well, and if you are playing a team like Bolton who play direct football, they should do more long balls. When playing against players like Gerrard and Fabregas, they never do amazing passes, they are the same as all the other players.
6. I'd like it to be possible to do runs like Theo Walcott's run in the Champions League against Liverpool, normally you just run into other players and stop.
7. It's really hard to get past players when you are running fast, the players never touch the ball past the defender, you always have to slow down. If you have a quick player then they should be able to run around players and keep the ball while moving quickly.
8. It's impossible to hit shots into the top corner from outside the box, it either goes too high or is an easy save for the keeper. shots should be more powerful and should stay lower. Also, the ball always ends up curling wide, why can't shots have no curl on them, just be pure power?

Very important: FIFA08 havenot stadium of "Santiago Bernabeu" for Real Madrid. Way????????????

you should b able to score wonder goals i luv it scoring a gr8 goal but the keepers on fifa are so gd it aint that realistic and in manager mode you be able to view other league such as if u were a premierleague team u should b able to c the championship,league 1 etc

I think FIfa 08 is a great game but still there are a couple of things i would like to see in 09. i wish there was like a superstar mode where i have no control over what team i play for unless i am a free agent. i wish there was a season mode for the international teams. when i score a goal fans reactions and team songs being sung in the stadiums. when a person is created use the created images face dont put a shodow figure because u dont have a picture

'Passion is missing from Fifa.

The Fifa 09 team need to break passion and excitement down and find a method to getting the player fully immersed by his footballing experience.

The team could start looking at actual football matches..watch the Liverpool vs Ac Milan 2005 final!

Liverpool losing 3 - 0 by half time saw a dejected Liverpool side who were completely out of it..the team were playing badly, the fans had lost their voice, and the commentators had lost hope and were praising milan and calling the game dead..up pops Gerrard and the rest is history..the fans start screaming..the players play beyond their abilities and the comentators begin to be positive and sprout metaphors to Lazarus! The director of the TV coverage shows the emotions of the players giving the TV audience at home further excitement and passion!

Pro Evo has got some of this right with the TV highlights and cutscenes..Konami have also managed to get an emotional connection with the player and their team through the master lg campagn which properly shows the progression and attachment of the team and the player.

To clarify this, Djimi Traore has an aweful touch but his long legs tackled well..in Pro evo you use him becuase hes a great tackler but you cringe when he gets the ball because you know there could be a problem..that cringe is an emotional connection with what is happening on screen and the player. If Fifa could explore this connection, then they would be onto a winner..that is why evo sells! a player feels that his team is his..and his changes make a difference to the way his team play on the pitch...

So a more realistic representation of the players is important! not just there ability levels but their faults! you highlight a players skills by also highlighting their faults..it gives them a personality!! one that a player can connect with to their real life counterpart!

Taking the referee out is a big mistake...referees are highliy important in the excitement and passion..the position of the ref in relation to an incident would justify a bad decision made by the AI referee..and also provides a hate figure for the player..if the game isnt going their way!

The highlight system and player cutscenes need to be completely re-developed..the monotonous scripted animations add nothing to the experience and most players skip all cutscences..the acting by the players is completely cartoony and over done! simple looks of the eyes and hands going on heads is enough..players hitting their air with their fists is corny to the extreme!!

This is a shame as cutscenes are a massive part of emotion and excitement, the player likenesses can be pretty poor..for some reason the way shirts hang on players make them look bloated and over weight...footballers are lean and athletic..they need to look like that!

Old Trafford in 08 is amazing..every stadium needs that attention to detail..ive noticed the game response lags in some stadiums such as Anfield...i get better quicker AI movement when i play at the Nou Camp or Old Trafford!

The manager mode needs to be exactly that...get rid of the stupid sponsor deals from un heard of companies..the silly mulitiple choice questions...focus it on the football and training..

Make formations make a difference..

Bring in a training mode that improves the attributes of the players (in game and user) throughout the course of the season..and make those difference visible during matches (brings a connection with the player and players).

Improve the transfer engine..with realistic transfers and real time negotiating..why not align negotiations with the football engine..e.g) if you try to sign a defender and it goes public..your current defenders in your squad get a morale hit..or play better because they have something to prove! (depending on the players personality)

Player personalities added alongside abilities...this paves the way to make the players more realistic humans..e.g robbie savage going in aggressively..berbatov looking miserable all the time...rooney chasing every ball and making a rash challenge by the end of it..these things define players!!!

Injuries being more subtle and more serious...different stages could be added..
e.g. 1 - 10 (1 being a small hit...10 being a bad break)..have appropriate varying animations to show this..show what a horrible challenge could do to a player..you might then stop online players kicking ppl off the pitch! if someone does do this..penalise them with appropriate referee action..red cards for dangerous lunges.

I think ive given you some gold here! if you implement half of these changes..i think you could create a footballing series that will be untouchable..

You need to think about why we watch/play football..its not because we want to kick a ball into a net but because we love the excitement/adrenaline/emotion.

i think the game is amazin but i think that there r many things missing from the xox 360 version that is on the ps2 version such as visual sim in manager mode also creating teams. i also think dat u shouls be able 2 dive plus training mode and if the scout got real players nt jst created 1s. if ur team wins a cup u should be able to c da trophey and watch them lift it

hey fifa i realy miss some crowd action , why don't they jump and celebrate when i score they are jut sitting down and doing nothing so wy dont't you tape some fans from around the world lets say in liverpool. when you
have taped the crowd then animate it. thats my idea

i hate it when you are playing on xbox live, and you like 3-0 up against an opponent and suddenly its says " connection with your opponent is lost". you know that because they are being battered they dont want to dent their online record, it is really frustrating. so in fifa 09 if a player quits the game the opponent who is still playing should get the points. also most of them who quit seem to be from the united states. sort it out, im sure most other people who have the same problem agree.

Theres alot i noticed about fifa 08 i thought could do with a touch up.
1. Just coz players are in the champnship doesn't mean there have to be bad and cant be above 80 in rating, I'm a QPR fan and in 08 we have ben shar and he plays for
Chelsea which from manger games makes him out to be quite good but coz he is a QPR puts him down to 65.
2. Money should be alot better should show the richest clubs, and when a teams promted or win a cup to get more money than just I.E. 1,000.
3. The offside trap is one of the big ones, in real life not every offside is seen yet in every game i play on 08 i get caught even the other team.
4, diving should be made real to. with the 50/50 chance of getting away with it or being booked,
5. youth team, Again coz i play with QPR I have to settle with the fact that my youth plays that are coming though as good players, if your trying to make the game as real to life as pos then its needs to be made where not all of the youth players that come thought are bad some can be really good even amazing and yes some can be really bad.
6.Tranfers, shold be made a lot harder and contract with the players and there agents wouyld be good in order to fight with them to get the contract, and other teams to try and out bid u in the process.
7. the last thing is maybe the newspapers could be done a little better and not repeat the same thing every season.
oh and make free kicks easyer like on 06.07 when u have an arrow and u can hit the ball hard without it going into row Z

The tackling needs to be sorted, when i get tackled i seem to be pushed 10feet away from the ball, yet when i tackle the player just seems to tip and then keep running with the ball.
quick free qicks happen alot yet in the game the option only comes up now and again,
i play football manager 2008 and if fifa takes some of that game and puts it in fifa 09 it will be the best seling football game. things like player stats, money, staff, money!!

Free kicks to be made a lot easyer on 08 u camn hit the ball hard coz it just goes over, maybe bring back the 06/07 way where u can hit the ball with power and see an arrow to know here abouts its going. and u should be able to foal the kepper or have more contact with him, when they get the ball all the players just go back to where they was which doesn't always happen in real life.

i really enjoyed fifa 08 and 07 but can there be an improvement with the australian league ( a-league) such as the commentators knowing players and the team names.

i think you could go through the league as one player and you could get transfered just like bieng a real player and go through training with the clubs and get picked for international games, also you could swap shirts with people you want and keep a colection of shirts

Fifa is a lot better than PES. More offical items and stadiums but when it comes to play, PES is a little better than Fifa. Fifa should be played like PES.

free kicks have to be easier to score

1. should be able to see the ref and linesmen

I think in fifa 09 should appear Romanian League, Moldova League,Greek League, Russian League,Bulgarian League, Hungarian League, Egyptian League, Arabian League,Columbian League, Peru League, African League, Tunisian League, Libian League .. new manager faces like Gigi Becali, Cristi Borcea, Gica Hagi, .. new rest of world teams like Red Star Belgrad, ... , making at least 4 clubs created by you(and the starting budget should be 80 000 000$) , new sponsors( romanian, japaneese, germanian), the national coach side, making at least 5 stadiums of your own,.. bleeding players ( the doctors and their special car should appear on the grass to take the injuried), the manager and coaches ( the principal and second coach) should appear on the side, more states of americas and asia, the world clubs championship,more options in create a player and the ability to start him off as a great player( and the sound option like succesful dribling ability made by the @@player@@, created or not), better fans and commentating- rush the field and posters, flags, cheers after i win the premiership in manager mode, i agree with the press conference things and different notes when you sign someone or an important player gets injured or you win the league, make an extra sub (4 substitutes), and the end :)). If these requests and sugestions of mine would be placed in fifa 09 i assure you that fifa 09 will be the best game ever !!!! thank you for your time

i think the games was good but actually it was a load of sh*t. U didbt evan have real madrids stadium and the rest of the premiership. Players should run faster we should have custom controls cheers and go get beer

make players come to the ball, dont make them stand there for it alos make players put more power behind a pass, too frequently a players making a weak pass, which, coupled with players not coming to the ball makes for easy interceptions, and fifa has always had this problem so it would b nice to see it fixed
also the freestyle system was flawed, in most real football games its easy to beat an oppenent with just a quick tap beyong them, u dont need a blistering series of stepovers
player agility and responsiveness should b sped up dramatically
and other stuff but its probabaly been said

Ohh, and one more thing... Make this happen on xbox live. Imagine creating your own league where you can buy and sell players amongs the users. Then I would quit my job and play this game til my eyes bled. Thanx!!

More depth to the manager section!!! Like football manager and so on. Then Fifa would be the greatest game of all time!!!

1. AI Players Intellegence should be enhanced. E.G. Flamboyant players will attempt to take you on with a spectacular dribble. Players with blistering speed will look to exploit your lack of speed. Wing-Backs make overlapping runs to support attack etc...

1.) I would like to see better stadiums because the ones on XBOX 360 were rather poor. I would like to see all UEFA 4 and 5 star stadiums in the game, or at least most of them. Also, some other cool ones like; Seoul sang-am, San Paolo, Maracana, Home Depot Center, Estadio Antonio Vespucio Liberti, Estadio Alberto J. Armando and the Telstra Dome. Especially Amsterdam Arena! All Premier League stadiums!
2.) Better free kicks and corners.
3.) Argentine League, Romanian League, J-League
4.) Canada national team. also Ghana, Ivory coast, Togo, Trinidad & Tobago, Israel.
5.) get rid of those experience points in create a player. A player should be able to be as good as he wants.
6.) More weather and time of day options like sunset.
7.) Create a team.
8.) Create a stadium.
9.) Be a pro career.
10.) Bring back practice mode for 360, like on the PS2.
11.) You shouldn't have to unlock 3rd kits and boots.
12.) Better facial hair styles on xbox 360. there were only 4 on the xbox 360. the hairstyles were good though. : )

One of the biggest flaws in fifa08 is the way the cpu controlled players dribble.EA u have to fix this.Make them dribble realistically,dribbles in real life arent done by just moving the body left and right,its more of a footwork and sudden change of speed.
Another aspect EA should look into it is the midfield play,in FIFA08 midfield play is minimal,make bigger pitches or/and anything else to tone up the mid game,how it is now the cpu makes some good plays only around the box but it should develop its game nicely and realistically before its reaches the box.
Bring more different personalities in the way each team plays
Make realistic and better camera angles
Dont screw the difficulty levels,a real sim shouldnt have difficulty levels,but if u dont want to get rid off them,at least make a difficulty level named:simulation level.
Give more attention to one-on-one situations,these are really important in football,if i play against a team with a top class left back i should have big trouble developing my play from his side,in fifa08 most of the times is easy for my wingers to advance and out dribble their defender no matter how good he is.
Cpu should make earlier in the game depending on the score,advance the cpu ability to change formations and strategies.
FIFA08 is the best fifa ever and one of the best football games (along with some of the the pes series) but u can make fifa09 even better and most importantly more realistic.

I think that FIFA doesnt have it right just yet. Heres a list of things that FIFA definitely needs to incorperate.
1) Needs Referees/Linesmans
2) Players look FAT: jerseys need to be smaller (C.Ronaldo looks like Scott McDonald: FAT)
3) Keeper Gloves (lotto, Sells, Uhlsport etc.)
4) Shooting: you need to be able to hit the ball so it rises, it starts low and then rises. Shots that go to far post (curling) need to be more realisitc. Hard shots should swerve (in/out/dip)
5) Volleys: need to dip if hitting drop volley eg. W.Rooney 05/06 goal of season
6) Skills are awsome keep them
7) More stadiums ( better crowds)
8) Better Goals (variation of nets: colours/size/box)
9) Celebrations need to be signature
10) Free kicks: signature - more realistic curl etc.
11) Make PK more fun: harder to score
12) Make sure skin colour correct: Jimmy Hasselbaink= nearly white ????
13) More Balls: Can choose any T90 Aerow Colour/ Teamgiest

When it comes down to it, FIFA and PES need to combine for the good of the beautifual game and create the best football game out their.

Freekicks should be more real.eg like when u shot a banana shot it look so fake the player doesnt really move like how the ball is being kicked

Im sure most of what I say has already been said but anyways I feel fifa 09 should include:
1.Be able to create your own manager in manager mode,all the way down to what color suit or warm-up gear he is wearing on the side of the pitch. Also show videos of him during games and when signing new players.
2. When creating a player or editing a real one, have more kit options, such as being able to have the shirt tucked out or long sleeves rolled up.
3.Have referees and linesmen during games.
4. Defiantly more real stadiums and leagues.
5. Different commentators, meaning different accents for different leagues.
6. Have a "legends" team consisting of players like george best or kevin keegan.
7.When your create a team you should be able to pick a sponsor and team crest and have it be on the actual kit, also be able to create your team's stadium.
8.Have the players look and move more realistically.
9.Be able to edit your team's kit when there are new seasons while in manager mode.
10.Have a huge variety of different boots and hairstyles when creating a player.
11.Wider variety of injuries, like if a player breaks his leg he should go down and stay down on the pitch then be stretchered of, or if its a small injury have him go to the sidelines until he is ready to come back on.
12.Show videos that have players arguing or even fighting after a bad tackle or something.
13.Should have and show real managers, such as alex ferguson, roy keane, or rafeal benitez.
14. Better Music!!
15. Cannot stress enough on how the crowd should look more realistic, the gameplay couldn't be better but when it shows the crowds, it looks like its from nintendo; also have them wearing the team colors at home stadiums and maybe even random videos of them chanting and fighting somewhat.

Why isn't their more stadiums? Upton Park needs to be in Fifa 09. And the FA Cup Final should actually be played at Webley Stadium...

also i'm sick of the 'computer' team coming back from a goal down in injury time to either win or draw the match!!

y r players who don't have a contract at the start of the season (when fifa 09 comes out) not in it? E.G. John ALOISI from Australia is not in FIFA 08 becos he was a free agent when the season started...he should be in the transfer market as a free agent so you can buy him...
Also you need the ACL - the Asian Champions League

more realistic players and crowds, as well as every stadium in the world. More free kick options like in 07
and individual player characteristics - like how many times they do skill in one game in real life. Also linesman referees
and managers should be more prominent. There should be a practice mode - similar to 07- as well.

and night mode for cup games e.g league cup,ecc,efa
