I think that there should finally be referes and linesmen and i also think that there should be more than two commentators so you dont get bored of the same voices.

try to have a variety of commentators as it starts to get annoying hearing the same every game.

I THINK UEAFA 2008 IS CLASS. THE ONLY THING I WOULD SAY IS WHEN YOU WIN TROPHYS I WOULD LIKE TO SEE A BETTER TROPHY CELEBRATION GOING UP THE STAIRS AND LIFTING IT AND GETTING MEDALS ETC

no more rooney and ronaldinho on the cover. it should be Kaká, Lionel Messi, and Cristiano Ronaldo. And in ``Be a Pro´´ mode it should be more realisic like in that nike commercial where you see a whole football carriere from one guys point of view like if you stand still in a while he can scrath his hair ore ass. And you should be able to play as him even from the start when like he gets of the bus. And for the love og god please make a reffere and side refferes like in pro evelution soccer (which is muuuuuuch better then fifa 08) no offense

i think the gameplay sounds great just as long as the running isnt jerky. please put some one else on the front cover

The Fans should be more relastic

make it so when you get to the fa cup final you play in wembely, and not your home ground that needs sorting out.

whats up with netherlands soccer team being so weak? and also y can't you put their real jersey on them. also it should be harder for goalkeepers to get the balls,
referee is not in the game while playing? where is he? taking a break?
also Iran is one of the best asian teams why is it not in the game?
the announcer is too calm he should be more exited he acts like he has seen the game before
dribbling is too complicated make it easier

Marcus bent should have better skill rating than 69! When you score you can hear a man talking in a microphone saying e.g: Arsenal has scored with number 25 EMMANUEL ADEBAYOR!!! and also hear him say the players who are starting

17) Multiple Commentators. If we get 3 or 4 different sets of commentators, it will be wonderful listening to a different commentator everytime we boot up the game (also in dif languages)
18) Create Your dream squad and take your dream squad online in competition. I love my Manchester City boys, but online you are stuck with the current squad of that team. Besides, everyone always picks the same teams; Barcelona, Man Utd, Inter Milan, AC Milan etc. Why not match your favorite players on a team against someone elses favorite players? again, just another idea....
19) skill challenges (ala old winning 11 games....like shooting for points, dribbling, etc)
20) and I'll stop at 20. In the startup, when we have our player to practice with, why not let "player 2" be the goalie? or if we have 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, or even 8 players in the room, add other players onto the practice field and just play around?
Just some ideas, yo's. I thought Fifa 2008 was a great way to break in the PS3, but i firmly believe that with certain additions to '09, Fifa could really blast '08 and '98 out of the water!

Here is what you guys at EA need to do to improve what is an amazing game:

1. Make the AI easier or give the option of turning off the advanced AI, even though you guys advanced the AI to make the game "challenging", you actually made the game VERY frustrating at times, I am a man who could beat legendary easily on Ps2 07 but on 08, no matter which console, I have a find time keeping up with Professional. This is a huge factor, I don't want to have to play on amateur to score goals. Make the AI less frustrating or give options so we can tweak the AI just how we like it.
2. Make the Manager mode more realistic in the terms that the Top Four clubs in the prem for example actually are in the top four and that teams such as Watford and Derby don't dominate or teams such as Chelsea or Liverpool don't get relegated or stay in the mid-table. That also is a VERY frustrating part of the game.
3. Make the transfers more exciting, there is barely any action in the transfer market and I am always the club making the biggest transfer. C'MON EA, transfers are a huge part of football.

Please fix those VERY FRUSTRATING aspects of the game and it will be perfect. Here are a few more things that could make the game more interesting:

More realistic movements (running, dribbling, crossing, shooting - it all looks a bit too data-animated instead of real)
Lower leagues in more countries
Real cup names, Carling Cup and FA Cup, and real final stadiums.
Be able to change the kits after each season, kit sponsor and brand.
Better media communication, press conferences.
Cutscenes with managers - like in EURO 2008.
Your own goal celebration - like in EURO 2008.
Much more realistic goalkeepers, more realistic movement, not as many rebounds as in EURO 2008.
More boots
Better be-a-pro mode
Create yourself and play through several seasons, start in lower teams, rank up.

we had ball physics. Now its time they add pitch and weather physics. The pitch should behave unexpectedly like a real pitch therefore each piece of grass should behave independently and react to player weight in different ways and at different times. the pitch should react to all that stumping whereby the ball gets affected and it bounces around according to the pitch whether it has been worn down or in a bad state. PLEASE jst make its realistic

find new jobs during the current season of manager mode when you get fired

1. you should be asked to confirm a substitution when the ball is dead after you have already made the switch in your team mangement. For Example, you may be trailing and opt to replace a MID with a ST and then score.you may now want to add a DEF instead. Please try to understand what i mean.

2.yellow cards for persistent fouling

3.All 4.5 and 5 star rated clubs and international teams should be allowed a former player (classic) For Example ManUtd. Cantona. Only in LEGENDARY MODE.

4.see ref and officials especially linesmen. i can understand if you may think the ref could get in the way but the linsemen would be a nice touch. then you could try to show the ref at set plays and the 4th official at subs and added time

1) Be able to go to training threw the week before a match for example that you can run and shoot at the goal and have a little game every practice like 4 against 4 on small goals that gets the morale higher i just mean that you can do the practices your self.

1. Let the goalkeepers have gloves of different brands for example, Uhlsport, Stanno, Adidas, Nike, Reusch (because every goalkeeper has the same gloves thats not so fun)

2. Make every young talented player look the same as he looks in the real world

3. Be able to change your kit after every season and change brands or sponsor.

4. Make the players more flexible

5. Make the crowd more realistic.

6. Be able to play any manager you want for example, mourinho, ferguson, wenger. or try to make it able that you can import a photograph of your own face.

7. that you can import a picture of your face and that you can be a players that looks exactly like you.

10. you should have the icelandic league thats a MUST.

11. that every player has his own style of playin because in fifa 08 you can just go making alot of tricks with petr cech or something, thats not right.

2-Primera division A mexican league. the league has a lot of reserve teams, like Tigres B, Monarcas B, improvise it And add teas from the third division (segunda division) teams like Irapuato, Buhos de Hermosillo, Zacatepec, Union de Curtidores, La Piedad, etc.
3-you should be able to create a 3rd kit for teams that dont have a 3rd kit in the shop.
it should also apply to created teams and should have top brands from different countries, for example Addidas, Nike, Puma, Mitre, Pirma, Atletica, Kappa, Garcis, Joma, Unisport, Diadora. along withe brands they should have up to three different kit models/styles and the ability to apply hoops, vert. stripes, half and half, sash stripe, checkers, and many other patterns. Ability to apply up to three different colors on the shirt and seperate short and sock color (like in fifa 2002).
4-more south and central american clubs, maybe create a rest of world CONCACAF and rest of world CONMEBOL. with this you could introduce the Copa Liberadores, Copa Sudamericana, Copa Pan-Americana. Interliga between Mexican clubs, Superliga Between MLS and Mexican clubs. with these tournaments you could introduce the Club World Cup in manager mode.
5-Club San Luis and Santos Laguna have unique stadiums, threfore, inclube their own stadiums
6-OR, create a stadium, for any club with a generic stadium and created teams.
7-realistic stadium sounds. for example, in Necaxa's stadium there are police siren sounds and a chant that says "Viiivaaa Aguascalientes!" during a match, Santos Laguna have a tune similar to the We Will Rock You song and a another that i dont know but have heard it reffered to the ??? of the Tomahawks
7-NO MORE EUROPEAN LEAGUES, THERE ARE ENOUGH, MAYBE THE RUSSIAN LEAGUE.
8-PLEASE MAKE IT AVILABLE FOR THE PLAYSTATION 2, NOT EVERYONE HAS NEW CONSOLE.

Include the Kosovo National Team in Fifa 09,that`s what all Albanians and Kosovars would like at least to see while theyre playing this game,all the best!

1) First of all, more realistic gameplay, so that f.example Derby can't have more ball possesion than Arsenal. Weaker teams should be more unaccurate in their passing, shooting, everything than good teams.
2) Different styles of play, f.example Arsenal and Barcelona all technical players with good passing skills, while many lower league English teams hit long balls up towards the stikers.
3) More realistic movements (running, dribbling, crossing, shooting - it all looks a bit too data-animated instead of real)

the gameplay (actually in matches) needs a few tweaks, but the manager mode needs some serious sorting out, no other teams seem to transfer players (Fulham put a player on the market, but as they never bought anyone all season long and they start with so few players it wouldn't even let me buy him because "there are too few players on fulham")

theres no play-offs in the championship (may be true for other leagues) the teams of the season include teams that are about to come up/go down, so the championship team of the season ends up including a bunch of prem players. the costs of players and staff upgrades needs major tweaking, and the cup information and weekly games should go back to the old format of showing it (like fifa 07, where it shows the crests, and if penalites took place, what the score was in a much neater way.)

Also, for cup games have a completely random draw every round, rather than deciding at the beggining of the cup. Would be excellent if you could see the draft happening (even if it was just team names/numbers coming up on screen in order) another thing is the board expections need sorting out, someone i know got promoted from champ to prem, and because the game saw them as coming 1st in the leauge, the board expected a top 3 finish, which i don't think any new team in the prem has ever done in their first season. Also, the youth scouting system needs alot of work, i had my scout on level 1 and he was brininging back players better than my whole team, and they were teenagers still. That and the names of the youth scouting players make no sense.

Finally, last thing that i can think of atm is the blacked out faces of players who aren't important enough, (this even includes hasslebaink!) when it wouldn't take much just to show their face in the window when checking through squads.

Theres many other problems, but they cannot all be mentioned in one post. I think nearly all the ideas are excellent, and that's the most frustrating thing about the game, as the execution of these great ideas are poor.

And 1 final thing, please let us edit our players stats! it only takes a matter of weeks for a relatively unknown player to shine and become brilliant, please listen to my ideas, i would be happy with no new features at all, and just making the ones that are there currently work properly.

I think by putting in adecco ligaen " Tippeligaen Light" will make it more fun for norwegian players. its fun to play one season, but at the end of the season theres no relegations. thats no fun. and why havent you explored the nor tippeligaen more. the skill and stats isnt very ac. and the best and biggest club in norway is vålerenga. their kop "nr. 12" "klanen" is the best on making noise every game. check this out. and make the people on the stands mare realistic.

one more thing -
HAVE REALISTIC CELEBRATIONS e.g. nani and obafemi martins flips

1. have all the premier league stadiums at least, if u can have a couple of championship ones aswell

3. screw mo-cap, use naturalmotions euphoria engine so it seems like the players are real
4. basically the cutscenes in 08 were crap, show players celebrating trophies properly

-i think it could be a good idea to show the fans celebration after a goal, or a victory. It could be alternated with the player celebration.
-Another thing (in the manager mode) could be to receive offers from other teams to contract us like new manager during a season.
-include opinions fo the players after the game.
-you can design a car to take out the hurt players.

1. Make it possible to control one (created) player throughout an entire career from teenage try-outs to 30+ superstardom - with training sessions, contract negotiations, up and down periods, etc.
2. Different weather conditions - especially in manager mode. It get's pretty old always playing at noon in fair weather.
3. Add referees, linesmen, manager, subs warming up, supporters, physios, etc.
4. Make it possible to create a manager for manager mode.
5. Make it possible to become national team manager in manager mode.
5. Kit alteration in manager mode.

The Argentinian League has produced hundreds of players all over the world and is one of the most respected leagues. Also if there are players like Juan Sebastian Veron who arent on either Boca or River, then fans never get to play with them. I have been waiting for this league for about six or seven years now. The Boca - River was a good addition but its time to upgrade to the whole league....PLEASE!!!

Just a couple of things I really enjoyed from playing past games, things that maybe you can implement into 09:

*Create a team
*Create a player- same stuff but more of playing as HIM and building him up. Kind of like in UEFA 08 but more toward building player from high team in lower league, to lower and then higher team in higher league. for goalies too, it would be cool
*Be A Pro option for any match like manager or national or anything.
*Goalies-
1) be a pro as goalie would be an interesting feature.
2) Make goalies more determined and less hesitation. Like say when i press triangle I want the goalie to go for that ball at all costs. The goalie hesitates a lot and I hate it. I could care less if I cause a pk. That includes corner kicks...the goalies needs to run out and punch that ball away. not go for the ball like he has time, and realized he needs to block and THEN blocks, too much time. Go for the ball with everything. That's their job.

Overall the game is good but sometime players need a new slew of features.
