12.a mode where you can play the following weekends matches when connected to the internet it will say what team your selected team is playin in the real world next and you can play that match. you have to play with the selected squads that your manager would have to decide from. Say if i was chelsea and drogba was injured in rela life against liverpool then he would not be in my squad

why make any fifa game with a date in the title anymore /..now with the next gen computers we can update most of the things we need on fifa , ie like new players etc, so why not just make a game just like fifa 08 which is the best one so far and just let us update everything like new shirts players etc etc

-Get money for your manager for choosing to switch clubs that you can use for extras like stuff to put in a sky box
-unlockable unusual stadiums, like indoor soccer court, beach soccer, street soccer, moon soccer
-club take overs (sometimes if their really rich they randomly buy players without you having a say)

Managers get yellow cards and have to sitt with the fans!

hairsyyles need to be improved e.g c.ronaldo, also make it possible to change player hairstyles.
I would also like if you could players boots like if c.ronaldo he wears red mercurys so you could changge it to the orange or blue ones or fabregas wears the white and gold instead of his normal white and black nike tiempos. Also in edit mode could you untuck shirts, players have been untucking shirts since the gane has begun and on ps2 you cant do this.

Having just had a bash on fifa 08 and thinking about what could be improved there is so much,so i have also come up with the following.
Be able to move the wall on free kicks,have the keeper come up late for corners if your behind,have the ref walk ten yards for freekicks and allow players to break them yards risking a yellow if they touch the shot/cross,every top league should have their teams ground in the game (Blu ray people) Go on to manage an International side say if you win things at a highre difficulty (altho some might think this will disrupt sales of future UEFA games) still,put it in..makes the longevity of the game.Dont allow clubs to put their players on the transfer market if they dont have enough players...doesnt make sense wasting our time trying to bid for them.A "loosing his cool meter" would be a great add on so we could attack certain players hoping they may get a yellow/red if they persist.

I personally dont give a rats ass about boots and gloves and editing hair cuts etc,its all about the gameplay and little touches in game play that make the experiance better,not whether a player has a different hair cut or editing the size of players schlongs due to them earning 180k a week,its all about the gameplay so lets focus on that.

Also Youth team players and scouted players should grow much better on the top 2 consoles
Injuries should be more realistic eg. Picked up more often and lenghty absences to test your managerial skills.
Iternational call ups should be atleast 3 times a season not once!!!
There should be training facilities and mabey even training matches.

I would like to visibly see referee's and linesmen on the gam.

Iwould also like to see a better more faster game play on PS3 and XBOX 360.

I think they took scouting too far on FIFA08 on the top 2 consoles

Transfers should be life like and teams such as your man u's and chelseas should start off with £200 million, but only if the players are life like priced such as MESSI £60 million and so on

If FIFA want to take gaming to another level, manager mode, there should be contact with the board and somtimes ownership takeovers to make the gaming experience that little bit better.

Put the city of machester stadium in fifa 09 when it comes out

Fifa 09 should contain the following: ref, linesmen, 4th official and manager and subs warming and side line should be all visible, Better and louder fans, fans also to be 3D and when scored see fans jumping and shouting. Should be a academy so young players can come up the ranks. Also you should be able to design your own stadium and kits. Manager mode should have friendlys and more time to sign players at the start of season. Also plz make when trying to tackle for the ball more realistic like for example see players fighting and shoulder barching each other. Refs to be real life refs. Also what would be cool to have would be before the start of the match have a team talk in the dressing room that should be when you sort ya line up and tactics. Have alot more stadiums and for a personal favour at St james park (Newcastle united) Let there be music when coming out the tunnel either LOCAL HERO or COMING HOME NEWCASTLE. Thats all cant wait for fifa 09 :)

fifa09 should have something that of ncaa football 07.in ncaa you started by playing in highschool state final games and moved up.I think it could b absolutly amazing to bring that to fifa.Maybe start off by making a name for yourself in collage then making that jump into the pros in like a pesonal player section.I would get that game the first min it came out.It would get more of an audience and give an amazig pitch for the cover of the game...

Add the Bulgarian "A" League

I want to see the bulgarian league,russian league and why not the serbian or romanian league in next FIFA

Put the ukrainian league in its better then the russian i don't care what zenit's done.

One more thing or two... it would be more fun to play norwegian teams if it was ullevaal stadion and lerkendal stadium.. and the last years you have manage to have all the suporter songs in tippeligaen exept VÃ¥lerenga. Little tired of hearing Rosenborg and brann for example.

It would be alot more fun if it was more than just one league in norway.. the adecco league is not that bad... and it is mor fun if there is som relegations and new teams in the tippeleague. also a norwegian comentator would be cool... and new english comentators if norwegians aren't posilble to have.

Rather than taking a club through a seaon like other football games, take a single player, created or real, and take them from a lower league team to the premiership. Make decisions on leaving for Barcelona or all different choices given

Make it easier to update players. Have all squad on one screen, be able to update players stats without having to go through 3/4 presses of the button to change to another player

I think you should be able to choose your sponsors also relegations for spl teams also been able too choose what your manager looks like and been able to hold the cup and transfer more real. You could also have different commentators for different matches and see the signings this could all be done on manager mode for fifa 09 and I hope you take my ideas thanks.

Firstly I just want to say FIFA 08 is a top game but there are a few things that need sorting:
1) Free agents - it's far too easy to transfer a top platyer to a lower-league side just because he's a free agent it's not relaistic.
2) Officials - It would be nice to see the men in charge like there is in FIFA Manager
3) Deviance - It is a part of the modern game so probably should be included - diving, sneaky hand-balls and appeals for off-sides.
4) When a team from the Coca Cola Leagues gets promoted (or any team within a multi-league country) the sleeves should change to represent the change, (as hould the balls from the Championship, the different colour schemed balls ought to go after promotion).
5) Stadium capacity - it's no secret that lower league games have lower attendances, this ought to be shown on the games.
6) It would be really nice to see some spectators walking round and wearing replica kits.
7) It would be brilliant to be able to watch a match from the viewpoint of being in the crowd.

I think the major change needed in fifa 09 is the be a pro game mode. I found on 08, it was quite boring and needed something else. Maybe copy Madden a little bit with the superstar mode by being able to train your player, negotiate contracts, get traded, play international fixtures etc. Just make the be a pro aspect more interactive and not just a stale 1 player season.

16) Finals of cups actually at Main Stadiums instead of 1st teams home
17) More realistic boots
18) Better Commentry
19) Ball moves about after a hard free kick or hard shot like Ronaldo free kicks

21) Dives and players react to the offender
22) Dives can either be rewarded with free kick/penalty or a yellow card
23) If a player is continiously slid by a player, then the player should try and get his own back throughout the game
24) More choices for free kicks e.g. drill them into the box
25) Be able to move wall on Free Kick
26) No more Ronaldinho on the cover, he is no longer a hero
27) Pitch gets cut up and marks left if people slide on a wet pitch
28) When a player is injured, they get stretchered off, not just walk off
29) More realistic injuries
30) More realistic reactions to tackles, not all the same e.g. a little push the player falls over the same as a lunge tackle, make them different!
31) Most players have realistic faces
32) More tournaments e.g. world cup
33) Be able to negotiate with Owners for budgets maybe?
34) If things get out of control on the pitch during a bust up, be able to control certain players e.g. control them to help stop or get involved.

THE LOW LEAGUE DEFENDERS ARENT SLOW ENOUGH WHEN U PLAY ON THE HARDER DIFFICULTYS. EVEN THOUGH ITS SUPPOSED TO BE HARDER THEIR PLAYERS DONT AND CANT PLAY THE WAY THEY DO

where are the referees and linesmen???? Pro evo manages to have them and they've done a pretty good job with it. This would definately add to realism. Theres no point introducing a ref at the beginning and not having him in the game.

Really like the game after being a Pro Evo man for many years. However, still some gaps to be filled in yet:

1. Better differentiation between the good sides and the rubbish sides - It is very frustrating to see Andorra able to pass as if they Brazil 1970 and defend like some great Italian sides. Needs to be better AI thus making the lesser sides less dominating.

2. Much better substitution animations - would be great to a more seamless transition when subbing players with a smooth pan to the bench with all the subs, coaches and the manager in the sequence.

3. Ability to customise controls - being a Pro Evo man, I know EA have virtually emulated 99% of the Pro Evo control schemes but haven't placed them in the same locations in FIFA. I was a massive fan of the 'Super Cancel' control in Pro Evo but it find it quite difficult to use with the default controls schemes in FIFA.

4. Better defending from corners - this was a massive problem in FIFA for myself. Very difficult to defend a decent corner due to the sluggish change in manual player selection left 1-2 free headers a game as a result.

5. Better variety of headers - be great to see a wider variety of headed goals. I know UEFA 2008 improved this a little bit but I feel there is a bit left in this angle.

6. Much better tactical customisation - Pro Evo allowed players to switch to custom formations by the touch of a button. FIFA has only a limited amount of in-game customisation for formations/tactics etc and needs to be greatly improved.

7. More realistic competitions results - you can see rather bizarre FA Cup winners for example in the game due to some strange auto generated results. Needs to be corrected.

Looking forward to FIFA 09!
