get a goddamn reff on there.
also you should be able 2 make or change a teams third kit after each season, probably with a template 4 each club

1) When I pass the ball, I want my player to move towards the ball, not stand glued to the floor, waiting for the opposition to intercept the ball, without me having a say in the matter, so to speak.

4) when 2 clubs reach the final of say the champiopns league, put it at a ground that is not in same country as the teams, so there is no biast moans. For instance, F.A cup final at Wembly.

make the crowed more realistic e.g. their clothes are the same as the team. have the referee on the pitch, when creating a club allow sponsers on kit, allow top clubs to play in the champions league in the first season, give u a chance to be international manager in manager mode, have a chance to look at the youth academy and the reserve team, allow you to employee staff e.g. assistant coach, weather should change throught the season e.i snow in the winter, entery into ueafa thorough intoto cup, you should be able to cancel loan players contracts, the holland should have real players not made up ones. each match is at a difficulty level equal to the team if u are chelsea vs wycombe then is should be on ametuer and when against barca it should be on world class etc. lasley not different commentators but more different ones at different games. chelsea chelsea

in manager mode there should be able to leave half - way through the season and get offered a job half -way through a season and more leagues!!!

make champions league more realistic for example put the final match in the right stadium

The Amateur difficulty shoud be a bit harder and the semi-pro a bit easier, because it gets boring always winning by heaps on amateur but the semi-pro is way harder than it was in FIFA 07

- In Manager Mode you could be offered an international job, then you accept/decline
- Training games which you take part in to improve player(s) before games, maybe some fun minigames
- Create your own stadium
- More items in Fifa Shop, items for stadiums, more third kits, classic kits etc
- Make players look more realistic, some players dont look a bit like what they should
- Rush goalie even if your winning on last minute corners
- After a decision the captain should talk to referee, could influence game and what happens
- More choice for logos, kits, colours etc (Create a Club)
- Different sponsors for kits, such as famous brands/companies
- More choices for creating a player

Have conferance and lower leage teams in england such as blue square conferance, conferance north/south, unibond laegues north and south.
this will mean there will be more fun during manegiral mode being able to take a club from grass roots football to the premiship and champions league final. In england there are in excess of 20'000 non league supporters across great brittan.
Furhtermore allow lower league teams to unlocked and be availible in match play.

in manager mode there should be other ways of making money, like football kits selling them selling merchindise. and you should be able every season design a new kit.

hav atleast 2 a-league stadiums (probably Sydney and Melbourne), create a stadium, have world cup in manager, more real life like player faces, change commentators im sick of those 2 commentating, different cover, all the transfers from the last day of the transfer period, make more players more expensive (on the game for e.g Benzema is worth around 19million pounds but in real life hes worth 50m, and make clubs more richer. i hear that man u have got around 1.8 billion pounds but on the game they only start off with i think its around 58m pounds.

Controls are alot better then fifa 07 and plays alot more realistic.. Thou can still be improved a touch because gameplay is just a bit behind PES still specially in department of where players run and crap off the ball...

But Main thing that needs to be added is a BE A PRO single Player career..

BE A PRO-mode single player career done probably with you being able to get dropped and have to negotiate contract and club can sell u if they want etc.. and having to do training exercises like in boxing game or in nfl games you can to help increase stats etc.. If that is all done properly and not on the cheap as an added bonus and make it a huge selling point you want to get the same old Fifa fans and some new ones you will get the whole PES fan group to purchase the game..

Also the manager career mode you need to stop with this bulls*** about the team not having enuf players on there team to be able to sell some1 to u.. thats just crap!!

and online a pro-ranking be nice and also 10v10 would be great.. also make it so can make hosts and password servers and be able to kick annoying players

I'd like to see:
-Create-A-Player Mode! Hellooooo!!!
-Manage Int'l Teams
-Have option to sim all games until a selected date (not just one at a time)
-Players' looks should change after the year (haircut, etc.)
-Fix replay so that it doesn't show insignificant stuff that happened way before the goal
-Need to have every team's actual stadium
-Need to have all cups (especially for MLS/South America)
-It's annoying when I save up tp buy a player, but his team doesn't have enough players on their roster
-I hate, HATE when I pass the ball and my dude stands there whilst letting an opposing player intercept!
-Have option of turning off/on the feature that tells the next player to pass/shoot/etc. before he even recieves the ball.
-Better graphics.
-A mode where you learn to master tricks under gametime-like situations.

the idea of the refs and linesman is common among all the fifa players worldwide...so i think that should be taken into consideration
and also when taking free kicks..where's the cursor like there was in 04????
more international teams.....more realistic, meaning you can see the bench with the manager and subs and stuff

10. The controls of Fifa08 sucks! I hope in FIFA 09 they will be just like in FIFA07. The single reason i don't play fifa 08 it's about the gameplay and the controls. I stayed at 07 for the moment.. hoping to see smt better. Cheers

first fo all i want to say that every year FIFA is getting closer to being a perfect game. the controlls were pretty good i just have a few suggestions:(these will be reffering to the Xbox 360 version but also in general)

1) Be able to qualify and play in the World cup, manager mode sometimes just gets old so it would be better if we had a goal to reach the world cup.

2) free kicks are good but i would like to see where im going to kick the ball in order to curve the ball

3) add a DIVE button to try and sneak in a penalty or free kick

4) after a goal give the player(gamer) the freedom to run his player around and celebrate.(maybe a d a celebrate button for: stomach sliding, flips, lifting the shirt, and yelling at the crowd....ect.)

5) more realistic crowd with personality

6) depending on how your team is doing gain fans or lose fans

7) chants and songs for home teams

8) when the golie comes out he should run backward back to the goal (when i play with my friends they shoot from half field and sometimes it goes in because the goalie is running towards the goal and has his back towards the ball)

9) create your own stadium

10) better trick stick (ability to use it while sprinting and not hold the left trigger to preform tricks)

11) add every possible CUP in soccer

12) online be a pro and player ranking

25) more realistic player switch ( when the opponent is running at me sometimes the cursor that is on a player randomly switches to another)

26) when i take the ball away from someone and mistakenly press the pass button and as soon as my player gets the ball it passes it to no one, i think that should be fixed

29) holding a button in the goalie box should allow you to preform trick shots like bicycle kick and such

30) create a pro. start off as a nobody and build your career to fame and become the best. do interviews and get sponsors. maybe shoot commercials in wich you would have to preform trick moves by moving the joystick .

31) an actual training mode where you can just mess around or train with the team

32) have the option to play penalty shootouts for fun without having to go through an entire game

i think that all of these suggestions might make the game last longer so people dont get bored after winning so much and it will make it better. but besides that everything in FIFA 08 has been good

this game needs refs and linesmen, all commebol country teams because there are only 10, some other teams from other continents and licence for the netherlands.

Ok, I would first like to say I'm an avid fan of the FIFA series. But there are some issues that could be greatly improved upon. For one, the crowd graphics and personality. Have songs chanted when a team plays at home.(even the smaller clubs, it would make a difference. One thing I did not like in the FIFA 08 game were the controls. The controls were a complete disaster compared to FIFA 2005 and 2007, when the one-touch capabilities were are their best. The dribbling needs some real change as well. For instance, if i have a player dribbling down the field, it does not feel as authentic or look authentic for that matter, and its about the same for all players.(with the FEW exceptions of Ronaldinho, Rooney, C. Ronaldo, etc...) Not only the passing, but the dribbling as well. When a pass is made on FIFA 08, it's like the ball automatically is placed and destined to land in one spot, and very little control is given to aim passes and/or free kicks. I would like to see some sort of cursor or what not when free kicks are taken, because after FIFA 05, many people I have played online with have agreed with me, it sucks with out it. Making the overall actual gameplay more realistic is KEY, make it feel like a real football match, although I must say, the PS3 version is extremely well made when it comes to actual gameplay. I know it costs more money, but making the FIFA game the way you do for the PS3 on the PS2 would leave EA with MANY more happy customers and FIFA fans. One issue that I personally would like to address is the Manager Mode. Yes, I do love managing my favorite clubs such as Manchester United and Los Angeles Galaxy, but after about 3 seasons of playing, it can get old really fast. The Manager Mode needs new features such as, more agreements in the contracts you sign with your sponsers, let the gamer feel like he's making an important decision like the officials of professional clubs do. The manager mode has been improved on each year, but there needs to be more features that will keep the gamer interested for the entire length of the career mode. E.g.: when you are negotiating contracts with players, make it more complicated to keep the player if he is unhappy, just as the want away stars of the EPL and La Liga can be. The Manager Mode needs to make the gamer feel like an actual manager, and not bored after 3 seasons. Oh, and in the Manager Mode, call tournaments by there proper name, such as the Champions League, the UEFA Cup, Copa del Rey, and the English Premier League Title, once again going back to the game becoming more authentic. Now this is one aspect of the game that I believe ALL people would like, the Champions League playable in a FIFA game, not buying a seperate video game itself just to play it. I believe that a gamer should have the opportunity to earn the ability to play the Champions League, after meeting a certain amount of requirements in a season.(Going undefeated, winning major trophies, etc...) Having better celebrations would also make the game a lot cooler, as well as the teams reaction to winning a major cup. Having real sponsors for teams such as BWIN and ADIDAS on uniforms, shoes, and for the team should be added. Not were u can barely tell a football cleat is adidas because of the 3 faded out lines on the shoe. Each league should have its own national announces like in the EPL, choose 2 famous announcers that broadcast in England, but have say a different one for the MLS. The fact that the players hair DO NOT MOVE, or the jerseys DO NOT budge at all is frustrating!, and the ability to create your own team, put it in the League of your choice, actually show the name that you named the team in League play, and allow them to get promoted, relegated in the Manager Mode; and other than under and over rating players(under rated american mexican players), for the love of God, the music needs an EXTREME MAKEOVER!!!! Half of the artists on there are not even heard of; what happened to '05 and '06 where they had artists such as Franz Ferdinand, Oompf!, The Streets for FIFA 2005, and Bloc Party, HARD-Fi, and Oasis? Both games had amazing music. In my opinion, more American music should be added, if not at all adding famous artists on the game that had hit singles or at least decent songs. One last thing, going back to FIFA 2005 and '06, the extra features such as interviews, or highlights of the past season would be brilliant in the upcoming '09 game. (May I just say, what you did with the EPL highlights and the song Helicopter is what fans want to see again.) These improvements would make the perfect FIFA 2009.

24) Managers come up to the sideline and shout things

26) Add an option to choose what to do when you receive a red card or even a bad tackle. Also, you could choose to go up to the ref and argue or back down and continue with the match

fifa 08 was gr8 but when thinking about it needs alot more before it can b superb it lacks on be a pro and on manager mode this is fifa and its pose to be the realest footie game around so make it and keep fifa] a good name before we convert. i agree with alot of the ideas which have been writing which is y i haven't written much fifa take into consideration

And please allow us to create a club! And make it so there is a set number of shirt types, e.g. stripes, half-splits like Blackburn, only let us choose colour. And why not do what EA have done in Tiger Woods 08, where you can create a player by uploading a photo into the console (for xbox 360s anyway) and then the game automatically creates a virtual you from the photo

I'm a major fifa fan, but i find in the fifa series is that they leave u afta while wanting more, for it to be more exciting, unpredicable n a little more realistic. some suggestions that i have for this are:
1. pre and post match reaction from the fans, commentators, players and even in a t.v (match of the day) scenario
2. more stadiums, teams, more customamisable options i.e how the player reacts to red cards, losing a match, how he leads a team
3. detailed manager mode i.e u start off as as an unknown, then get a job offer(s) from smaller clubs and a reputation to be a top manager, limted wage budgets and transfer funds, get the option to be an international manager, post and pre game team talks actually in the dresing room and every decision has a reaction.
4. create a pro mode - again like manager mode, u start off at the bottom and gain the respect, ability, skill and attributes to be an elite player and get called up for internationals. also include training sessions, interviews, sponsers and a decision to further ur career at the end of ur plying days to management.
5. include refs on pitch and linesmen and forth official
6. players have more passion, and the ones that show a bit i.e in cup match, play-off for promotion get yellowed
7. different commentators in matches
8. wider ranger of tournments i.e wold cup, european championships, african cup, intertoto cup, conferderations cup
9. classic team - more legends i.e gazza, bobby moore, pele, george best, peter schmeicheal, roberto baggio, gianfranco zola, puskas to name a few
10. classic matches - like in cricket 08 relive matches i.e in world cup fa cup, euros etc
11. when winning the league or a cup, more should be be done to celebrate them how they shud be celebrated i.e champagne, confetti, streamers, podiums, medals, lap of honour. the dressing room shud be bouncing with players, champagne everywhere, players and manager giving interviews on how proud they are and in the opposite dressing room, players throw tantrums, crying and quiet whilst the manager tries and consolidates them, interviews from players and manager congratualte the winners, tell them of their disappointment and how they will change.
12. outside effects on matches - these shud give the match a different edge and makes the player change the way they play and how they approach the game i.e weather (wind, heavy rain, snow, heat, cold) whether the team away or home, form, crowd, pitch (bobbly, silky smooth, astro turf)

these are just a few suggetions lol, but i think these and others suggestion i have seen on here will make the game feel like the real thing either in the next game or ones to come.

i wish penalties are taken better, if you shoot with just circle, it just looks horrible, and make the ability to trick the keeper by looking the other way and so on available.

more comentators so it doesnt get boring with just two, and a larger reaction with the crowd would be better. Also show managers react to goals, bookings, fouls and substitutes like in euro 2008.

fifa 08 had real players in special suits to get realistic movements, i think that should be done with more players

i wish that different people take freekicks differently, e.g. ronaldo has his own technique, juinho and so on.

weather should have an effect on the play, e.g when its rain, puddles appear slowly, the white lines dissapear in areas stood on and the ball slows down slightly in mud or water (not too much or it will anoy people)

and the bigger the stadium the bigger the noise and crowd reactions, plus if you do man utd vs. some brazilian team, in brazil, then there will be more brazilian supporters than united supporters and the same with others.

i hope you take my ideas into concideration for fifa 09 which i will no doubt buy with hapiness.

the ammount of people who quit when they are losing is just unbelivable. i'd say it happens to more that half the games im winning and never when im losing. people need to grow up i know but if EA could somehow stop them doing it that would be ace

can you please sort out theo walcott he's rubbish on the game but great in real life.
also on edit a player you should be able to edit as many players as you like because it's just better if it's like that.
also you should do that thing that was on the world cup game 06 where you could unlock the really nice boots
