How to do Shots, Headers and Volleys
Here is how you can take shots, headers & volleys and score – Take note that depending on the ball’s position, your player will automatically perform a shot, header or volley when you press the shot button:

Shots are performed when the ball is on the ground or at the level of your player’s legs.
Volley are performed when the ball is in the air but it’s as high as a suitable for a header – Your timing and your player’s Volleys attribute are two important factors for a successful volley.
Headers are performed when the ball is in the air and beyond for a shot or volley – Your timing and your player’s Heading attribute are two important factors for a successful header.
