FIFA 13 career mode has already generated 114 pages of posts on EA forum career mode discussion alone even after the 1.02 update has released.
definitely, this is not a good sign and the already tarnished image of EA, especially EA canada team is quickly deteriorating.
FIFA is already a 17-8 year old game with a new release every year. This kind of business model is old, and will only limit the game to fulfill it's full potential.
If EA would rebuild the whole game starting from the next game with the following suggestions,I believe the game will retain it's competitive ability for another 10 years. Even if it meant stop making it for 1 year, i think this would be the right choice.
online game hub that allows constant updates for FREE is the trend to stay. Like steam with Team Fortress 2. You could still earn money through ACTUALLY IMPROVING YOUR PRODUCT AND CONSTANT NEW DOWNLOADABLE CONTENT.
that i believe is what EA should do with origin and FIFA. and Origin should definitely give up on the extremely intrusive EULA for this to work.
the game's code should also be open source, so if there is a bug or glitch that the team could not fix, they can rely on the fan base to help them out, giving them a better quality product.
the open source code should also allow users to come up with customize content, which will in turn increase fan base, like WC3 spawning DOTA.
in short, EA should REALLY change the business model from relying heavily on marketing and churning out 1/2 completed products every year, to actually make 1 game that is never complete until the genre naturally dies. at least this game, you can always go back and fix things and change things if it's not working.
This business model will also benefit EA's customer image, as constant feedback is the best way to show care and effort to communicate with customers.
If EA Canada is really reading this but the EA board isn't liking this idea and you guys do, i suggest you guys to find a new investor and start a new company on your own and bring the game with you, before you get sacked and blamed by both users and the company for making a bad product while following the company's policy. I can only see a downward spiral here.

when playing on world class the AI-team is way too strong
in pro evo they are smarter, but can be beat of played with the right tactic

we need a few more leagues e.g, Japanese league, Ukrainian league, Greek League, Serbian league, Argentinian League, Chilean league, Mexican League.
fifa never adds important tournaments like UEFA Champions league or the Copa America or copa libetores or Asian cup e.t.c. Also it would be awesome if we could play the fifa world cup not just online, but offline to.
OK, the realism in this game is pretty cool, but i must say i do agree on improving the crowd, and making camera filming more realistic. for example, when you score a goal and the camera films yourself celebrating,celebrating when you've won a tournament e.t.c.
it would be good if the players would tug each others shirts while dribbling the ball or when waiting for a cross.
In career mode I think we should train with your squad where you will have opportunities to improve your skill level.

Also include injuries just before a match starts, ie. in the warm up a player might pull a muscle or feel ill.
Finally setbacks in recovery from injury. Once the injury is healed the player is fine again. for example jack wilshere recently has had several setbacks to his recovery.

what i mean is huge improvement into making realistic game-play so we(fans) can go watch our football teams and players in real life and then go to the game afterwords and play exactly how they would do. and for the authenticity im talking about more teams more leagues more stadiums more player faces and more team chant for teams e.g. your playing as charlton athletic fc at the valley and the fans are singing valley floyd road and cafc.
i think the game play should be improved on
player positioning (especially defenders)
player intelligence(especially defenders)
player marking (every player)
tactical defending improvement so that you move towards a player (while still containing the player) when the(other player)runs towards you while pressing a or x buttons rather than holding x or a and keep moving backwards and having to make manual tackles by letting go.

these are my opinions and like i said everything that has nothing to do with game play and team authenticity should be fifa 14s main priority improvements.

less effective AI players ,they always get the ball after lobbing and I can´t do anything with it(I think they just calculate orbit and direction of the ball and then take it)
