more realistic transfers in manager mode.
be able to celebrate with crowd or take shirt of when you score, with the fans actually engrosing the players back and not just 1 bloke and the rest just standing there whilst the player pretends to be celebrating.
Better fan support, instead of all fans randomly celebrating a goal and the sitting down when a goal is actually scored they all stand up and go mad jumping around going nuts when their team scores. Away fans tend to celebrate more when they score then the home fans would.
the fans could get on the players backs if they are playing poorly. and give more and better support when their team are infront. Give more support if there team has just gone behind but slagging off if their team is well behind and well beaten. Fans cheer louder if you over turn a large deficite. e.g. 3-0 down at half time to come back to win 3-4.
F.A cup replays instead of straight to extra time.
1.in be a pro you should be able to train in your club.
2. also in be a pro, you shouldbe able to be a substitute. Its just rubbish just playing games
3. when players score, they only do a celabration. They should show replays of the managers reaction, show the crowds reaction, and the team mates should be chasing the player
4.in manager mode, you should have more of a bigger budget for certain clubs. E.G. man city
5. There should be world cup mode and champions league. You should also be able to create a team and start from the last devision of the league.
6. There shopuld be more countrys, especially when the world cup is going on.
7. after a week in manager mode, there should be like a tv show where they show all the highlites of every match in the week.
8. players in manager mode should be in press confrences.
9. there should be a fixio running on the pitch when some one is injured.

BE ABLE TO CELEBRATE WITH THE CROWD OR TAKE SHIRT OF, THEN ONCE YOU HAVE DONE THIS CELEBRATION THE REFEREE IS TOO BOOK(GIVE PLAYER YELLOW CARD)
In club mode:
1) the ability for members who have missed a game that has already started, to actually join the game as spectators, or "bench" so to speak. Maybe even go as far as join the game by replacing one of the CPU generated players when the ball is out of bounds.
2) A bit more balanced points system, after you hit the 6k mark, its about 50-70 points dropped for a loss, and 5-10 points gained in a win on average from decent teams.
3) Add a penalty ( plus the actual loss points dropped) for clubs that quit, like an extra -50 or -100 points for quitting ( unsportsmanlike behaviour). Or at least hand the winning team a points bonus, maybe around 30 or 40 or so ( plus the actual win points).
4) Improved AI, especially that of the Goal keepers and defenders.
5) Although the "Balance" attribute modification is a welcome, I do believe it was over done as too often my pro ( with around 95 balance when in form) is EASILY brushed off the ball by the CPU generated defenders, who usually average between 50 & 70 overall.
6) Shots from 30 to 40 yards out go in WAY more often than they should, if not then they usually result in a corner, which really should not be the case against any decent goal keeper.
7) Arrange a weekly, or even a monthly Club tournament ( Other than the season). Something like champions league for example, Even if the group stage was difficult to arrange, just a knock out stage would do just fine! ( Home & Away leg would be great!).
8) The virtual pro was a GREAT idea. I hope EA can improve on it. For example, after a while, when almost everyone has a %100 pro, it kind of averages everybody out and gets a bit bland ( might as well go back to the 85 overall average of FIFA 09). A suggestion would be is to set a maximum number of points that players can allocate themselves to their virtual pro's attributes. As in instead of gaining a set amout of points to attributes through certain accomplishments, EA should give the players the freedom to "level up" their pros, that way the pros can be a bit more personalized, where a striker would put more points into finishing, while a wing would go for dribbling and crosses, and such. Although editing your pros position does go in that direction, its just not quit the same, especially if a player liked his Striker with high finishing, but also would rather high short passing, than dribbling for example. That would make way for almost an infinite number of combinations, for millions of players out there.
In General:
1) Although rain and snow do affect the game, they are no where as bad as it was made in FIFA 10. As players are WAY too slow to react and release ball, and a lot more passes and shots than they should. Also shouldn't they use an orange ball in snow? to play vs a team in white, with a white ball on a snowy surface is a almost blinding in FIFA 10.
2) Since this is a simulation of the sport, and not an arcade version: As real as the defenders pressure effects the game, strikers with 80+ average should NOT miss an empty net from 6 yards out simple because there is a defender behind them. I understand that pressure can knock players of the ball, but if they do make the shot contact from very close range under pressure, it should go in at least 9 times out of 10, not the 6 or 7 out of 10 average thats in FIFA 10.
3) another commentary set ( like it was later available in FIFA 09) is a welcome. As a hardcore FIFA club fan, I spend a lot of hours every week on, which results in getting bored of the same sentences repeated by the commentators after few months, if not few weeks.
4) apart from some of the virtual pro goal celebrations, the set is almost the same from FIFA 09. So maybe replacing some of them with more realistic or enthusiatsic ones, like jumping over the boards and running into the crowds, or even running at the dug out, where the coaching staff is, instead of the 2 dozens of dance moves that HARDLY any of them are actually used in real life.

I agree with most of the problems with modes but the things that REALLY irritate me in FIFA 10 that need to go
are first and foremost:
DEFENDER MOMENTUM: This is the most irritating as it has always been present in FIFA and when it goes FIFA will finally be enjoyable as PES was on PS2. What I mean of defender momentum is: one of the the 1st things they tell you when you start playing football is do not run and definitely do not sprint at an attacker when you want to tackle them as you are very easy to knock the ball round, this was the case in PES on PS2 and in real football. But on FIFA you continually make it the opposite and players are more likely to tackle you when running full pelt at you and seem to go straight through you... WHYWHY!! IT'S UNREALISTIC AND ANNOYING!!!! This could be helped by making it much easier to knock it past a player as they reach in for the tackle ala Messi (which by the way even he can't do in this game)
OVER PHYSICALITY: Yes EA football is a physical game but physical strength is NOT the overiding factor as speed and skill are just as important, readress this balance I'm sick of seeing messi barged off the ball by mediocre weak players when he's accelerating past them as in real life ( and PES on PS2) they just wouldn't be able to knock him off the ball like that without obstructing him!!!!!
LOSING STRENGTH WHEN DRIBBLING WITH DEFENDERS ON STEROIDS: This is also SERIOUSLY annoying! last time I watched football players other than Drogba, Ibrahimovic and Carew etc were not the only players in world football that can hold someone off the ball, do you hear me EA, I'll put it in simple terms, you DO NOT automatically become 50% weaker when controlling a football!! so stop doing it for every player apart from the players with strength in the 90's!
PLAYER INDIVITUALITY: Again something that EA should look at PES on PS2 for, just to really breakdown how konami did it so that each player felt like his real life counterpart and the most effective way to use them was usually how they played in real life this is something EA NEEEEDS if it is ever going to get the magic of real football. They're getting there but it needs alot more attention.
despite the criticism I actually really like FIFA 10 in fact it is the first FIFA game I have bought instead of PES since 03 as I was so impressed with it. And it plays the most fluid game of football I have ever experienced on a console so EA are definitely moving in the right direction. But the things I have mentioned would push FIFA 11 into the stratosphere making it in my eyes the worthy succesor to the PS2 PES legacy
1. Improve graphics
2. Increase the number of skill moves & tutorials
3. Add a new dimension - For example, being able to make players dive which could result in a booking or a free kick depending on how obvious/not obvious the dive is.
4. Improve live season - i.e. if a player is on fire that particuluar week - make it show! And make it refelect the real football world
5. Create frustration and anger in players - If a player keeps getting fouled make him retaliate, or sustain a 'graphical' injury. Create controversional decisions such as off sides and hence retalitaion etc!
Come on!!! The ideas are endless................
why cant swedish and norwegian and irish teams not play in champions league and uefa europa league … it really suck ;) -_-
Suggestions:
1. ALLOW TEAMS FROM IRELAND TO PLAY IN EUROPE!!!
2. Bring back the goalkeeper control
3. Bring back (from years ago) deliberate fouls and diving (worked well in TIF)
4. The matches need to be more exciting or realistic or something ... when you score a goal it always seems like its the fifth goal in a friendly match or something, and what has happened to the crowds: they use to have real chants and flares and flags now its like your playing in front of a premiership crowd all the time. Roma v Lazio just isn't the same when the crowd sounds and looks like a Blackburn Rovers pre-season friendly.
5. Bring back the challenging manager mode
1. Have a Club Reputation as well as a Manager Rep so when you win leagues etc the Clubs status improves so you can attract better sponsors and players.
2. Have real sponsors, surely they would pay to have the massive exposure that the FIFA games offer.
3. Better crowd reactions to good and bad play... Boo's if one of your players is having a bad game (perhaps an indication to sub).
4. More than 2 commentators, may cost you more to record the voices but would make for a more realistic commentary and keep it fresh.
5. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE show the side with a cup on a stand (fireworks, streamers, a photographer etc) rather than just running round a pitch after winning and a static crap looking newspaper article it looks rubbish and cheap.
6. Half time talk to boost 2nd half player ratings
7. Training Sessions maybe rather than EXP to develop players (can put this onto Auto if you don't want to do it)
If I think of any more I will post them :)
2. should be able to change kits more for example somtimes teams wear there home top but change shorts and socks depending on who they play like when everton some times wear all blue and arsenal wear their red socks.
3. more stadiums with their own unique atmosphere e.g when everton play liverpool the atmosphere should be tense and the fans should be loud and this should be for all derby games and important games like league deciders and semi - finals and finals and also when a big decision happens late in a game e.g a penalty to win the game in injury time the crowd should all boo and whistle to put the player off as in real life.
4. if a striker has a very high total off goals at the end of a season his growth should improve more than 1 or 2, this should be the same for a young player who features regularly during the season ect
5.the ball should change with the months e.g start with normal white prem ball then as it gets to winter change to yellow as in real life, and also for the different competitions e.g, champions league star ball, fa cup mitre and so on.
6. kits should change for promoted teams e.g writing and badges, also if a team is playing in the champions league or europa league the badges for the competition should be on the arms of the kit.
7. injurys should be more realistic e.g somtimes a month or two and sometimes if its really bad the rest of the season
8. clubs with less money should be able to attract investment if the do well at the end of the season e.g if i won the league with everton there is a chance i could get a billionaire owner, and also if you stay with a team for 2 years or more you should get refreshed budget at the start of a new season
9. you should be able to put players in for specific training e.g if a player keeps getting more tired than the other like most wingers do on fifa 10 you can put them in for specific fitness training .
these are all the ideas i have for now i hope some of them are used especially the boot idea, kit idea and budget and atmosphere ones i also like what others have written about things like sky sports half time analysis and different broadcasting channels and commentators.
EA fifa 10 is an ok game it is nothing special when i play a match and score a goal i want to see the crowd go wild and want to pull u in and smother u with hug e.g steven gerrard runnig down the wing cuts in and scores a 40 yard banger i want to see the crowd go made i want to see gerrard and torres cuddling as useuall on the real match i want to see better stuff at the end of a game e.g interviews for man of the match i want to see liverpool walking around anfield claping there hand at the crowd wilst the crowd sings your’ll never walk alone i want to see better celebrations and relistic crowds they look dreadful come on plz that makes me not want to play the game when i play a game i wana fell like im one of the crowds goin wild a gerrard scoring a amasing goal i want to see match of the day were they show all the goals from the premier leayge i want to hear more stuff on the commentry not the same old stuff they always say i want to see the manager come out of the chair incoraging the team i want to see my youth academy i want to see a shocking win in the fa cup eg manu 1-5 norwich something like that will make the game more intresting i want to see at the manager mode menu the manager f your club making bids and buying world class players i want the real stuff not crapy old liverpool have signed villa i want to see villa in a liverpool t-shirt with the manager at the stadium and i want to see villa go made on his davue goal i just want the reaal deal kk thanks for reading love connor (liverpool fan) :) and EA do this and i guarante you will get the selll out of the year bring on fifa 11

But Mainly its the quiting issue it really winds me up and alot of the rest of the community.
4) During clubs mode if you are playing a game and another club member comes online the ability to substute the player into the game so they dont have to wait in the dressing room.

3) there must be a button to volley. possibly hold LB, then press B. (for xbox)
4) players MUST be able to dribble with the outside of their boot! take arjen robben for example, he ran at vidic going inside giving him much more of an opportuniting to force vidic to back off, threatening the shot.
5) players 'scuff opportunities from distance too often! players such as michael essien should have a 'composure bar' as well as a power one above it. everybody knows that he can hit a ball so hard he can make it move twice in the air, the game would be improved greatly if these sort of players could show there potential more often in the game!
6) i love watching leonel messi but i just wish, and i bet many people would love this aswell if he was as good on the game. his tricks and flicks and his ability to change direction at such pace are too much for defenders to handle at times and it would be great if defenders stumbled when players like messi ran at them. i feel like when u take on a defender in fifa 10 he always has the strength to disallow you to continue your run!

its me again!
1) im a great fan of playing fifa online. im afraid i was deeply dissapointed when i discovered that there were no REAL players on fifa 10 clubs. please allow real teams to be played with on fifa clubs. i love playing interactively and i almost know for a fact that the majority of people would LOVE to have online knockout tournaments against other groups of friends. when you search for an opponent it cancels out all clubs who play with the same team as you. e.g if you play with barcelona it cancels out all clubs as barcelona.
fifa 11 clubs:
1) players stats increase if you go on a win streak.
2) red cards=suspensions injurys=miss no. matches.
3) keep vitual pro!
4) quitters punished severly.
5) have a club trophy room, ’scouting lobby’- displays your DNF, Goals to games record, and fav player e.g ( like to play as messi RW) this way you can go into a lobby, communicate with players without a club and sign them!

More international teams need to be added-
-Algeria, Angola, Ivory Coast, Egypt, Ghana, Morocco, Senagal, Andorra, Azerbaijan, Macedonia, Serbia, Wales, Costa Rica. When there are international matches the teams will sing their national anthems.
There should be a choice of what colour shorts and socks you wear. For example if Arsenal were at home against Chelsea, they would play in white socks. Chelsea's home socks is white, and they would have to wear blue because the colours would clash. Each team should have a home goalkeeper's kit and an away kit. Also their should be a variety of gloves for goalkeepers to wear including real life gloves. As there is two buttons for a goalkeeper to kick the ball out, one of them should be changed for the goalkeeper to pick up the ball. For example X should be for kicking the ball out and B should be picking the ball up. The reason for this is that when the goalkeeper recieves the ball by the other team or by a header and their is no opposition around the keeper, the keeper will have the ball on the floor and when the opposition comes to get the ball, the keeper will pick the ball up. This happens in real life to waste time.
There should be handballs. There are so many times when the ball strikes a players arm and nothing is given. Also it seems that you can only get a penalty when there is a sliding tackle foul. Outside the box there are fouls given for normal tackles. The referee needs to be more consistant when giving a foul.
There should be more goal celebrations. There should be the option to take your shirt off or celebrating with your fans. This could result in a booking.
You should be able to see the handshakes before the game and then the coin toss.
When there is an injured player, the physio will come on. If the player is really hurt they will have to bring on a stretcher.

> clubs should go back to the way they did in fifa 09 by playing as an actuall club not one player, once you max out your pro it gets a little boring playing the same way each and every game, as I play any for my club i find it really har to use/include the default players i get because they are terrible, they are slow weak and all the same. this is why I suggest for fifa 11 clubs you combine the two by having the choice of using a pro in an actuall club having a complete squad that can help and contribute to each and every match.
I think that FIFA 10 gameplay is the best by far.(then again thats what I thought about FIFA 09).My point is that this year more effort should be put on other things rather than the gameplay.And if in the end it can be improved , well , it would be a nice bonus!
I strongly believe that FIFA has to focus on making the game more realistic on other aspects as well.Meaning giving the "smell" of the pitch to the gamer.Making him feel like he's indeed the manager inside the stadium!Things like "subs warming up" , "manager screaming at his players after a bad decision" have to be shown and not only imagined.You've got to understand that most of the dedicated fans of FIFA are more football fanatics than gamer-fanatics!
Another big issue is the addition of more leagues.I understand that its not entirely in your hand to add more leagues due to permission given from local federations.I know that taking these permissions and closing these deals is sometimes difficult.
As far as FIFA for PC is concerned , either turn it into next generation or better shut shop!I cannot believe that a company like EA is paying money to create this monstrosity!And I'm having a hard time figuring out how you actually make profit of that "branch".I don't think anyone is buying it!
Thats about it...I don't want to suggest something specific as I know that 9 times out of ten is not gonna happen.They were just some ideas of mine.
1) at the beggining of a game , make the players line up in there tunnel not on the pitch.
2) make tunnels more realisti for example man.u tunnel would be in the corner of the pitch.
3) give every team there ground instead of making the likes of sheffield wednesday play at ivy lane.
4) make more game modes 2 players
5) more realistic transfers in manager mode
6) in manager mode let a club be bought by a new owner
7) also in manager mode let the manager make training scheduels.
8) don't let the ref get in the way as often
9) if a team win promtion make the celebraions a bit wilder
10) when a team wins a trophy show them lifting the trophy and do a lap of honour.

39. FIFA has visual sim that sims a match and lets you enter it in between. Why not the other way round??? Start the match and then sim it after some time.
40. Crowd attendance must change according to team results.
41. Crowd boos former player in M Mode or player dosent celebrate after scoring against old club.

I have 29 Suggestions to make FIFA 11 excellent -
1. Make it possible to resign mid season and go to another club mid season in Manager Mode.
2. PLZ include the Bernabeau.
3. Show fans leaving before the end of the game if the home side is losing.
4. Get the licensing for Champions and Europa League.
5. Have day to night matches. In previous versions, it was the whole match is played either during day or night. Have a match start in daylight and let it finish in the dark.
6. Add more to Manager Mode. I have not seen a single change in it since 07. Its the same. Make it possible to upload your own pic. for the manager pic.
7. Create a stadium. The same old ground is given for ManCity, Real Madrid, Sunderland,etc and Villa, Everton, Fulham, etc. Make it possible to create own stadiums.
8. Change kits and shirt sponsors after every season in Manager Mode.
9. Include Intl tournaments like World Cup, Euros, African Nations Cup, etc. in Tournament Mode.
10. Be able to choose separately the shirts and shorts of a team before starting a game. In past years, I have seen Man Utd. (in real life) play in red shirts and black shorts.
11. Commentary needs more variety and there were lot of bugs in it in Fifa09 and 10.
12. Show players lifting the cup after winning a tournament.
13. Have more goalie kits.
14. In Manager Mode, if Chelsea bt a club like say Doncaster by 7-0 it shows in the newspaper headline as 7-0 upset by Chelsea. How?????????????
Also, show the whole article contents in the newspaper and not just the headline.
15. Show subs warming up b4 ready to come on.
16. More video clips. Show Defenders coming down the pitch before a corner and Manager shouting out instructions during the match.
17. Give the overalls more carefully. It is just crazy. Rio Ferdinand stops at 87, im sure he is better than that, and Anderson, Miralem Pjanic, etc go to as high as 97, are they so good?
18. I have seen that the quality of players decreases as you progress in Manager Mode. I went as much as to 2023 in Fifa10 and never left my club Chelsea. My perfectly built team had every one in starting XI above 90 and rest in 80's. But no new players. 90% of the players in the game at that time were of age 30 or more. Also it was difficult to find anyone of about 25yrs above 80 ovr. Free agents are all 32,33,34,35 yrs.
19. Change player faces in Manager Mode. Giovanni dos Santos has the same face even when he is 29 in the game as he had when game started.
20. Include player plus cash transfers.
21. Have player swaps in Manager Mode transfers.
22. Players of ovr70's 80's are never kept for loan in the game. Make it possible.
23. You can never sign a player from a rival club like Baxter to Liverpool, or Fabregas to Chelsea even if you quadruple the transfer fee. Why is it so? It has happened hasnt it, William Gallas from Chelsea to Arsenal!!!
24. Improve player faces. Rooney looks exactly like real in game but player faces of Bosingwa, A Young, etc do not match to their real versions.
25. Commentary needs major revamp. Have more commentators. The same two commentate for every match be it in England or in Australia.
26. Long throw in's. Like in real life if Stoke get an attacking throw-in, no one is near the line, everybody is in the box as Rory Delap will put in a long throw. Make the comp ask if you want to take a long throw, this'll make opposition players go into the box, then select target man and show the thrower running upto the line to make the long throw.
27. Have more Leagues, there are no South American Leagues in the game at present.
28. I started one Manager Mode with Salamanca(Spanish 2nd div) which was a 2 star club, i think. I signed Free Agents and sold them to make money. Budget increased as high as to 96,000,000 pounds. Then I signed good young players at low cost and now it is a 4 and half star club and my budget is around 30,000,000 pounds. And all staff is 10 on 10. But the sponsors are still the same as they were when the club was 2 star. The funding per game, cup bonus, league bonus, are all still paltry even if the club has progressed to 5 star. PLEASE RECTIFY THIS ERROR.
29. The Board Expectations is just the same always in Manager Mode. Make it more varied. like-"finish above rivals", "sign Ribery and you will earn a higher fan rating",etc.
FIFA 10 was excellent and I really loved the Scouting Report about the opponent before a game.

2) Its high time the womans football get recognised as well, include atleast the EPL and the top ranked women national teams.
3) The goal celebration should be more varied, do away with players running in a que everytime after scoring, randomise this area, a player should sometimes score and get injure thereby not able to celebrate, he/she should be seen chasing away his team mates.
4) I would like to see players diving in the area and getting booked for it or winning a penalty, the commentator should be able to see from the replay that its a dive or not then announce it. Or the should be a combination of buttons used for a deliberate dive to try cheat the ref, he should sometimes fall for it.
5) The ref and assistants should be visible and make controvesial desicions from time to time. Refs licenses should also be acquired so that famous ones lyk H.Webb would be recognisable.
6) Defenders should not just foolishly miscontrol the ball to concede a corner or an OG simply coz one is facing his own goal, that makes the game look less realistic, also the keep should respond more in curbing those situations.
7) Last but not least, the bench sould be interactive, there should be life there, not only empty chairs. We should see managers reacting to diffrent situations, under supervision of the 4th official and also physios treating injured players as well as subs warming up.
When the game came out I was curious as to why you focused the game so extensively on your pro. And why in online clubs you have just your pros and fake players. When I played the game with normal teams I saw why. You must have realized late on how unbelievably terrible the gameplay was in the normal game modes so you changed it for online clubs. It really did save the game. Online clubs is good but the rest of the game is a disgrace, everyone I know agrees. You need to start from fifa 09's basic gameplay again with the new dribbling included. But whatever you did to create fifa 10 do the opposite. As I said before, it was a terrible, terrible game.
