In manager mode, the transfer market was okay but you should be able to make swap deals, what i didn't like about the transfer market if you sold too many players you couldn't sell for the rest of the season to build your squad
you should add the Northern Ireland league, Scottish first division, Russian league, Ukrainian league, Argentine league and other BIG team leagues, bottom division to promote better teams to Europe
like 2010 world cup game you should see the managers and fans up close, handballs should be re-added
in manager mode you should be able to create a new Home,Away and European kit every season/2 seasons
Teams like Man. City, Aston Villa, Spurs, Everton should be more competitive and the big guns(Liverpool, Chelsea, Man. United, Arsenal) should be really hard to defeat and also for the top seven teams in the prem they should have a big budget for manager mode between 25 million to 150 million (Manchester City).
All these would be a great change for FIFA buyers and probably get new customers!!
like fifa 07 for PSP you should be able to create your managers look and see him on the pitch
i think this was a great game . loved every minute because i had to repair my Fifa 10 (awww) lol, still loved it !!!!!
simple like simply knoackin the to the side of the player and running round to get it
2.add the champions leuge to tournemant mode
3.add a national team mode so your able to do seaons with your national team and compete in the world cup and euro

5. commentators should mention what you have achieved through out your manager mode season like what you have one and how well the team has played
6.fans make fans sing well known songs
7.at half time you should have a talk program like in real life so they talk about the close goals the best goals and things like that but you can skip it if you want to
8.better celabrations like seinging shirt round your head back flip stuff like that

I would really like to see more injuries, short and long term along with players requesting transfers to mirror the real world. At the moment it is entirely possible to fulfil a season with a 19 man squad with no more than one injury and not have to rotate the players.
I agree with some of the other comments and would like more work put into stadiums, if not possible to create every league club's actual stadium, then a wider choice or ability to 'create your own stadium' would be fantastic.
On previous versions there was a kit creator and if a similar feature could be built in or an option given for choice of kits (as with the sponsors perhaps, a choice of 3 alternatives), then this would be good because the game loses some reality when in manager mode the kits remain for many years.

Also have your reserve players playing in the reserve games, that way they are playing games and arent missing out, and youth games too.

13. Option to create a brand new team with random generated players (to boost leagues that have less teams than other leagues and get more games per season)

15. Ability to take throws immediately (you can do it with free kicks why not throws as well)
16. Legends mode (I would love playing in the era when Fowler was still with liverpool)

18. Setting to what you want your players to improve first (eg a striker with a bad finisher or a defender that doesn't have the strength to fight the ball off a player)

1. Take out contracts in Ultimate Mode. It takes away from the experience surprisingly much.

2. Full white ankle tape, with the option of just tape or full ankle tape ( like ronaldo, torres, lennon etc...) just little things like that would make fifa so much better, because game play is already amazing!!!
3. The option to change your teams shorts or socks, sometimes the colouring can be confusing and pro teams do it all the time, kit, short and socks selection.

1. in manager mode when your interested in a player you could do a swap plus cash not a straight buy

6. international games should be played during a season so certain players will be absent for national duty.

COME ON FIFA11!
1. MANAGER MODE- Make player negotiations in the transfer market more involving like you receive more updates from your negotiator, you are able to interview the player , you are able to interview the manager from the other team and the agents etc. make it more complelling. then have the storty run in the papers and the press. Oh and PLEASE, players like cristiano ronaldo or wayne rooney should not be getting signed by low ranking teams, make this aspect more realistic as well.
2. GOAL CELEBRATIONS- First of all the goal celebrations are too short and have often have little emotion. There should be more goal celebrations involving the whole team or a group of players, i want to see the whole team robot dancing or flying like a bird or doing some byzarre celebrations. Also, there should exist a celebration where you can pull your shirt up to reveal a message like "i love you mom" etc.
3. TEAM ENTRANCE- When the teams come unto the pitch they should elegantly come in with the little kids and holding their hands.
4. BENCH VIEWS- The bench with the managers, players, journalists and all the activity going around should be visible from the sidelines.
5. SUBSTITUTIONS AND FREE KICK VIEWS- I agree that it would be cool to see the substitutions, free kicks and goal kicks from the actual game cameras point of view, maybe the camera should pan around a little to give you the sensation that you are at the stadium. maybe this could be an option that you can turn on or off.
6. TRAINING INJURIES- In manager mode you should be able to send your selected players to practice and training but they should also be prone to injuries based on you trainers and the players amount of time played and conditioning.
7. FAN EXPRESSIONS- The fans should all the done in 3D plus they should be given facial expressions, this would be really awesome specially when you score a goal and run next close to them and you can see them with their eyes wide open and their mouths open and cheering you when they are your fans. also when they are opposing fans you should see a mean face gesture and you should see them screaming at you. Also, in a penalty shootout the supporters in the back should remain standing and react in a smooth way by raising their hands and whatever the action is on the pitch, the animations should not be jerky but smoothly.
8. FAN CUT SCENES- The supporters from both teams should be shown sending gestures to each other and they should be very detailed and move smothly like the players do.
9. COMMENTARY- Commentators should discuss the teams preformances from the previous match or if its a cup like the FA cup they should mention it throughout the game, that way it also helps in making it feel like a cup.
10. BE - A - PRO- You should have a life outside of football that forces you to make everyday life decisions that come to affect your football training and performance on the pitch. Also, you should receive instructions and advice from your manager, trainers, team mates during games and outside of the pitch and also you should receive letters from fans.
You should have your own personal room filled with medals, cup won, pictures, things you bought and all types of football paraphernalia. You should be able to design your own room. There should be lots of equipment to choose from or buy in order to dress you player like you should be able to choose wether you want to wear long socks, tattoos visit the barber for a haircut or a hairdo and many other things to wear and look good. Finally you should be able to see results in your body tone based on your workout in the the training room like if you workout well and combine the right lifestyle you should have a well toned body and when its time to celebrate after a goal you would then take off your shirt and flex your biceps.

However I have a noticed a few things that if taken into consideration should improve the gameplay experience.
Firstly, something needs to be done in regard to the passing system. I have encountered many situations where I attempt to pass for example to a player on the wing but instead the pass is being made to the striker. This applies to different scenarios as well where passes simply do not reach the intended target-player.
Secondly, shots in general as nice as some of them are need some re-thinking. In almost 90% of cases goals will be achieved to an almost 100% success quota when shooting from a certain angle. This should not be happening especially as it makes the game boring after quite a short amount of time. That means, once one has gotten past all the admiration for great animation, jubilary scenes etc.
Thirdly, please do something for the atmosphere, that means fans chanting proper chants, more active crowds and especially upon winning leagues, cups, championships it would be nice to see some animations that express the teams as well as the fans happiness.
Fourthly, squared balls ( as in Wing to mid or within the field) need to be looked at again because it is way too rare that a good square ball actually leads to a goal or even a semi-decent attempt at a goal/ shot.
Fifthly, the shooting behaviour player-controlled units needs to be made smarter because either players react WAY to o slowly or do stupid things such as attempting a slide-shot even though the ball could have been hit normally.
Sixthly, an MAJOR problem is when it comes to volleys. Volleys are mainly executed in form of bicycle kicks. Now whilst that looks cool and awesome and god knows what else, it is often unefficient, unprecise and simply epic fail. No player constantly bicycle-kicks a volley. One foot on the ground, the other attempts a shot! Now that is your standard volley. Same applies from standard situations such as corners where players run towards the ball and volley it directly. Now, I am not saying that a super goal or shot has to come out of it but at least the attempt would be nice.
Seventhly, when upgrading the stadium in manager mode it would be nice to make the changes done to the stadium visible afterwards! aka please let me see more seats, added walls etc etc.
Eighthly, NO SUPERTEAMS pls. Whereas we are all aware that in real life some teams are simply outstanding I do not think it is a great idea to have Superteams play like gods compared to your guys even though the parameters of my team outrank those of my opponents.... (Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga feels like playing against Brazil with New Zealand)
Ninthly, Make your own player mode needs some change in respect to the fact I do not think its the best idea to have me execute 50million different and super complex moves where I break my fingers just to get my player past 80 OVR skill. Whilst it may reflect to some extent the finesse and skill of real players it does not make much sense in a video game.
That's all I can think of for now but I'm sure I forgot some things.
Nevertheless FIFA 10 is a great game and I am sincerely looking forward to FIFA 11.

in manager mode it would be good if you could have training so you could have practice matches and just normal training and also at the start of the match you could train up your players and if a player got injured the stretcher could take the player of the pitch.
Should be able to interact with your players more,
When the substitutes come on and off the camera view should be behind the player coming off so you see them 'hi-five' eachother.
Be able to manage an international team.
Get some lower league clubs, like the Blue Square Premier.
Include some classoc football matches/goals/players in an extra feature.
