FIFA 11 Reviews

I know it's easier said than done, I have been a FIFA Fan for almost 15/16 years now; and i will always love me FIFA. But I know how much work these guys put in every MOVE each player makes, however, I feel that there's alot of things that needs to me amended or put in place:

-- The general gameplay could be improved, by making the whole players aware of one another.
-- The officials need to be improved on as well, when you play Career mode they tend to use a set of referees every time which is annoying.
-- The cut-scenes needs to be interesting just like the real Football, like celebrations, show real pain during injury and medical team rushes unto the pitch to assist with stretchers, players kicking a row with other players, the spectators should show annoyance when a player misses a goal or is red-carded or show happiness/enthusiasm when a player scores, celebrations is alright but needs to be much more realistic and incorporated into more bits of the football game.
-- The Stadiums needs to be real; i know it might be a lot to capture, but when you play Tottenham Hotspurs; why do you play in IVY LANE or some stupid stadium instead of WHITE HART LANE.
-- The Celebrations after winning a league should be improved, i guess all FIFA fans would reckon to this; we must have asked for this in every FIFA edition since FIFA 2001 on the old XBOX. It makes it much more worth while, like you feel proud for all that effort you put in the Career mode and all.
-- The Managerial role should have a cutscene, like in FIFA WORLD CUP South Africa 2010, if you remember after every miss or sumink you get that cutscene which shows the managers frustration, which I think is very very realistic, also you could argue the fact that, this function might involve incorporating the real faces and physiques of MANAGERS in real life.
-- The Substitution cutscene is my top deficiency in FIFA Football series; no official shows the player coming in, neither is there a scene showing the player leaving, there must be a reaction by the CROWD; maybe he was a good influence in the game or he gets a BOOO if he was RUSTY.
-- After half time show the bench, also show players leaving into the dressing room; interviews after every match.

Oh well i could sit here all day and rant about this and that; but EA please make a very good improvement this time as I always look forward to the new things in place in every new edition FIFA Football.

-Bring Back Scouting & Youth Academy.
-Also When Its Raining Or Snowing The Players Should Like Slip When There Running Too Fast Or When They Stop.
-Put In Hands Because There Too Many Times When The Ball Hits Their Hand And There No Foul Or Card.
-Put More Leagues & Players Even When There On Loan For A Different League That The Game Doesn't Have a Yet.

you need to make lower division teams better. I'm a Peterborough united fan and would love to play with them more often but they are shockingly poor on the game! All the players are slow and the power in the shots are s***! but in reality lower league players can shoot, with power and on target too! But on the game non of this is true. lower league teams are made s***, slow and un-true to reality! Secondly..... the offsides are ALWAYS picked up by the linesmen but in reality offsides are sometimes missed. would be better if the ref and linesmen messed up sometimes to make the game more realistic.

online play is frankly awful. freezing not loading properly, not being able to kick out stupid players from ruining your game. i basically get maybe 1 game a day because it lags so much that i cant be bothered playing.

please read all the comments and fix the problems in fifa 12 that fifa 11 have like when you have the ball and someone try to steel you the ball the ball always rebounds and get in your feet again , more variation in passes more variations in shoot and more faces how it can be that REAL MADRID doesnt have the faces upload:higuain,khedira,DI MARIA, and ''la cantera''

Players need an extra turn of pace when goal scoring opportunities arise, too often really quick strikers are caught by average defenders when a ball breaks free, it's the only thing that's not realistic, thats what separates top players from the rest, quicker reactions and the initial burst of pace when such opportunities arise

Almost perfect game, definately needs a couple more leagues like Greek Super League, Champions League and Europa League.

Manger mode:
* you should be able to do training with the team again like on some previous fifa's
* you should be able to resign from a club so you can join another
* more + longer injuries - in real life there is so many more injuries which keep key players out, it would also give fringe players a chance to prove themselves
* there should be a harder game mode than 'ledgendry'
* you should be able to buy a player after they have had a spell on loan with you
* Teams should attempt to buy players even if you dont have them up for sale - especially when players are nearing the end of their contract.
* should be able to manage countries
*There should be the international call up.
* More or unlimited seasons in manager mode. You should be able to choose when to retire?

General:
* more stadiums - they should add good stadiums like stamford bridge, eastlands, hillsborough, hawthornes, white hart lane, villa park, molinueux, the city ground etc.
* ALL players from the championship, premiership, spl, la liga, serie a etc, should have 'game face' used on them as some players look nothing like real life
* The atmosphere in games should be much better than what it is. eg. when a player goes through on goal, the crowd should get excited.There should be more chants, booing from decisions and the atmospere should be even better for derbies and night matches
* The commentary should be SERIOUSLY improved.
* Lower leagues
* There should be manger mode, where you can start with any team but the team you choose, you play as the real life manger. eg. if you choose man united, you are alex ferguson. Then there should be career mode where you create yourself and you are either a player or a manager and you have start with a low down team.
*You should be able to have creation centre in-game instead on the web only and you should also add create league into creation centre.
* The whole gameplay should keep flowing (never stop) when the ball goes out of play. eg. when a free kick has been given the ball gets passed back to player, then, the camera moves and zooms in to the camera position of free kicks. This would keep the game flowing and it would also look pretty cool.
* In the arena, if a shot goes wide, it shouldnt go back to the starting position, it should stay in play and the player either has to go and get the ball or the balls comes back from a rebound of the back wall. If you dont want to go and get the ball, you should be able to press a button and it goes back to starting position.

Online:
* There should be online leagues
* Improve ea server
* You should not be able to quit a game through the pause menu- the only to leave is to either turn console off or go to the dashboard/ps3 equivalent

if you want to re match an oponent on x box live there should be the option to replay uing the same teams instaed of going back to the team selection and reloading

FIFA 11 (PS2): HOW IN THE WORLD CAN YOU OMIT A "CHAMPIONS LEAGUE" TOURNAMENT? ESPECIALLY WHEN I WON MY NATIONAL CUP TOURNAMENT AND AND THE SEASON'S (SERIE A) DIVISION TITLE IN CAREER MODE!! AND WHY IS IT THAT WHEN I HAD LEAD THE ITALIAN SERIE A LEAGUE WITH 28 GOALS DURING THE REGULAR SEASON, THE NATIONAL TEAM PERSONEL WOULD NEVER SELECT ME TO BE ON THEIR NATIONAL TEAM ROSTER ?? THAT IS TOTALLY UNREALISTIC IN A SOCCER LEAGUE.....EA SPORTS NEEDS TO HAVE A "CHAMPIONS LEAGUE" AFTER WINNING A SELECTED LEAGUE TITLE (I.E. ITALIAN SERIE A TITLE)...AND MUST ALLOW THE TOIP GOAL SCORER (WHICH IN MY CASE, WAS MY "CREATED PLAYER") UNTO THE NATIONAL TEAM ROSTER !!

I think that in fifa 12 you should be able to downloads ur old pro from fifa, as noone (incuding me) will me bothered to take time making and doing all the accomplishments because of how long it takes. Also all the hard work put into the last pro is time and effort wasted. I think this will help the gamÄ™ get great feedback from fans like me !!!

Players never progress anymore. I play with man utd and I have had rafael starting at rb for 3-4 years and he never gets better. Same with chicharito gibson cleverly or any young player. I liked in the old game players actually got better the deeper into a manager mood you got. And there is no scouting either? so when I get into my 10th year everyone is in the 30s and no young players. Or good ones atleast.
The ai for the player controlled team needs to be better. I can't count the number of times I've had a shot parried and no one runs in to get the rebound they all start running to the middle of the field or I tackle the ball away just to see a guy on my team stand next to it while the computer goes after it and gets it.
the refs need to be nonbiased as well. I get called for every little thing that's close to a foul and the computer can pretty much get away with murder.

there should be a world cup feature and the scottish leauges like irn bru leauge 1 and 2 please

there are players in the game now who have made a name by diving among things. so can we make a way where those players be more likely to either get the calls the want, fall/dive when tackled more or just have trouble keeping possession of the ball.

more leagues and ghana is a up and coming young team that is built to be able to compete in the future, we are ranked 15th plus we where quarter finalist can you please put them in the new game. and in the superstar mode can we make the training more realistic

You should be able to add more goals that you’ve scored onto the ea sports website and in the replay bit on the game because you can only add 3 online and it would be good to add alot more or you should be able to preview the goals that you have previously saved so you know which ones you can replace and also bring back scouting and have the players improve more like on fifa 09 infact have the whole manager mode like it was on fifa 09.

When playing a quick match on the xbox live "team play" mode , I am getting increasingly quite frustrated as there is more and more unsporting people who are just aiming to wreck the fun of the game. For example they tackle players on their own team, score own goals and do not go with the flow of the game..

Suggestion i would like to put forward would be introuding a "kick out system" where at half time or something in the match, you and follow team players can be able to vote out the muppet, and that muppet could be vanished if there is a strong vote against the person. Therefore i more enjoyable game can be played.

FIFA 12 should have an option of commentary change between the top languages or at least. Issuing a Middle-East version with Arabic and English option. Arabic commentated by (Isam shawali) , English should be the regular one with Andy Gray and Martin Tyler.

I believe adjustments to manager mode are most important. It is the career game modes that really sell the game because they enable the user to play the game longer and adds to its replay value.

Things that I have been disappointed with in the past have been the construction of your team in manager mode. In fifa 10, it seemed nearly impossible to attract or sign a player of worth (70 rating or higher) during the transfer period. Also, I don't recall ever seeing a trade player option in fifa 10 or 11. In fifa 11, the transfer market was improved, but the scouting seemed to decrease and you could add players of worth from this medium. I would like to see an improvement on these types of features, allowing the manger to use a combination of transfer market, trading players, and scouting to improve their team. A youth development would be nice or some way to practice skills with an opportunity to add points to your players.

In Virtual pro you choose a position and height and weight and that defines the attributes in their strengths and weaknesses; if you are tall you will be strong, if you are heavy you will be strong, if you are short you will be fast and if you are light you will be fast. This is the basic outlook of how your physical body affects you physical attributes and if you want to make a good player you have to find the equillibrium of your phyisical features. But have you wandered that this outlook isn't fair in the way that you can be tall and fast or short and strong but yet ea assume assume that short means fast and weak and tall means slow and strong but this is not the case, we have anomalies in the fact that you can be heavy and tall yet be strong and fast, for example look at rooney torres he's tall but fast and fabregas is short but slow, hernandez is short but can jump high, van persie is tall but can't as efficiently.

By looking at these examples i think there should be a new way of how attributes are gained and how we get to choose in which way. How about i want to be a defender who is strong and fast i choose to be a CB so the game gives me a default list of attributes based on what a defender should have like 70 standing tackle 65 sliding tackle. Now when i complete accomplishments depending on the level i get points which i can add on to any attribute i want like if i wanted to increase my marking or vision or if i wanted to increase my finishing even though i wouldn't get the chance a lot I'd be able to shoot ok.

This can apply for any attribute for any position so that it creates more variety for each player and giver the user more freedom of choice so that if i wanted to be a gerrard type who is a midfielder who is great at being a forward midfielder and defender and and has attributes that support that option i can.

The goalkeepers should be more alert to threats ie. running out to stop across or through ball. offsides should be less strict. fouls should be less strict and change according to the league ie. you can get away with more in the EPL compared with La Liga. you should have to interact with your players in manager mode and how you treat them could affect them wanting to play or sign with you, there could be more reasons for players to miss games ie family or sickness. player stamina should come back quicker. players should have more realistic improvement. have training in manager mode. make freekicks easier to understand. the players should have a little bar that shows how happy they are at the club or if you are trying to sign them it could show how interested they are in your club. you shouldn't have to wait a season before buying players that have recently moved clubs. in theplayer career mode you could pick up sponsors or agents and you should have to do press conferences and such. you should be able to change small things about the stadium and affect how the fans feel. create your manager and change how they look and you could see them in the game. have real life managers in the game. make it harder to manage big clubs, you should have to work your way up to a big club. you could have more things to unlock like classic teams or different leagues. the ukrainian, argentinian leagues should be added and more national teams.

I have bought F.I.F.A. on D.S. for 4 years now, & I don't think enogh effort is put in to it.
So I would like to see a 3DS version containing:
- Real stadiums E.G. Old Trafford, Wembeley etc.
- Real kits with sponsors
- Better graphics
- Improved Manager Mode E.G. Inter Continentel Cup, Internationl call-up, Retirement, Realistic graphics
- & everything else on FIFA 11 DS
I also hope tournament mode is brought back. But my main hope is better graphics, real stadiums & real kits.

Fifa 11 is defo the best Fifa game yet but is still frustrating as it has so much potentiial to be a lot better.
1.Leagues, these leagues need to be added as they have good teams with good players, Greek league,Ukrainian,J league,Romanian league,Argentinain league and yes even Quatar as the lure of money is attracting the top players.

2.Stop limiting the international play on Fifa, where are teams such as Ivory Coast and Ghana as thats a crime in its self.

3.Personalize, I would really love to be able to create your own stadium and pitch etc and use it on live, I mean it can be a bit ridiculous if you bring a lower league team to the top leagues play in europe have plenty of cahs but play in a shed. You should be able to select and change the stands,seats style colour 1 tier 2 tier 3 tier its endless. Would also like it if you could personalize the pitch appearanc, before games you see sponsors cut into the grass etc would be really good if you could put your designs inot the pitch obviously censored.

4.Boots, there should be a lot more choice with boots and goalie gloves as the EA boots are that awful they make you want ot vomit. Why not give players the option to customize there own boots and gloves that would be cool.

5. This is a must get rid of player edit as in the stats, I know you can play ranked which get rid of the player tampering but sometimes you play peeps or freinds with a team you make and all you come up against is 99 overalls which is a disgrace and cheating, just dont give people the option to cheat full stop. But still allow us to edit the appearance as in boots,gloves shirt style and numbers.

6.Bring back indoor 5 a-side

Anyway thats me I hope this helps and I hope you read this as I have played and owned every EA Fifa made and know whats been missing.

the main contrast compared to fifa 10, the advantage and offside decision is totally disappointing, i think most people will agree on this. Anything else ermm i dont think ive any problem with it.

Theyre not overrating rooney, they even lower up his abilities, he cant do rainbow flick anymore, and his overall is lower compared to fifa 10, i think the most overrated is Torres, lower down is overall ! even his world cup was s*** just his luck spain won

My wish list.
1. Multilayer manager mode. ( this would be very fun indeed )
2. More realistic faces of Famous people, especially in the EPL ! cmon ! i think theres more real faces in the Ligue 1 compared to the best league in the world, EPL.
3. More nike boots, or you can get a new boots in the updates.
4.World Cup, Euro 12 (so we dont have to but to Fifa's in a year, because most of us did purchase both of 10' and Worldcup last year. Champions league too.

9.This is something like PES have done before, Kickoff - and you can choose two different teams or more and you choose ur players lineup from the teams that uve choose ! that would be really great though !

one of the main drawbacks of fifa 11 is that the players face are shown only when hey scores the goal not showing the disappointment of players when they miss chances. also the refs more serious... cards r shown more often . the international call up must be restored in manager mode must be able to change the final venues of cup competition. also needs to increase more players names by the commentary . when playing manager mode the commentary is still saying the old things (ie when a players become 32 still saying the player is young).

yayyayyyay first of all make it so that the balck african teams are in the game u racist b***es and jsut cause white caps are too good for this game. and internet connection sucks fix it now

3) An improved Personality+
4) More International teams
5) The ability for your virtual to adopt an existing players personality - eg Ronaldo
6) Bring back the flair trait for the virtual pro
7) Better clubs players
8) Better crowds eg crowd flairs, banners, flags, more crowd chants, crowd reactions to referee decisions and players
9) Less ping pong passing
10) More realistic refereeing

I love FIFA 11 but i think there are many improvments needed like:

17) more free agent players who have a high overall

-you should make more angles for the practice mode and make a 2 player practice ( i mean both attack not one of them a goal keeper and the other is an attacker

- International Breaks, so players go on international duty
- Be a pro: Maybe start as a youth player? Deffo be able to play for you country. Teams able to put offers in for you during the season?
- Real managers. or create a manager.
- Lower league players that deserve better stats.
- Create a club.
- Conference league would be good

In Order of Most Effective to Make FIFA 12 Better:

-More international teams such as Japan, Ghana, Serbia, Ivory Coast, Nigeria and Chile. These teams are always present at World Cups and all have met the knock out stages in previous years. Also include some very talented players which would be a pleasure to use.

-The J-League (League In Japan) would be great to include. It has many good players from worldwide and would be great to use them in ultimate team. Also, as someone mentioned below, to honour what has happened there in recent weeks. In addition, would sell better in extreme circumstances in Japan.

-A few more stadiums would be nice, especially 'Premier League' venues such as Goodison Park, Craven Cottage, White Heart Lane and The Eastlands. There could also be some on the marketplace to download. Some for free and the majority for small amounts of microsoft points (xbox 360) and money (PS3+PC).

for around 400 each would be great!!! I would buy at least the top two! (I support Portsmouth so Championship pack would be awesome!)

-When substitutions are being made, it would be great to do them properly, with the 4th Offical, Board etc. This would make the game a lot more realistic.

-The ability to play competitions for your country in BE A PRO such as the World Cup, Euro Championships and Asia Cup (using stadiums from the marketplace.) This would just be great.(Not essential)

-The ability to manage a country in 'be a manager' and enter qualification processes, friendlies and tournaments.(Not essential)

-In Fifa 06 World Cup, I remember a setting on Kick Off where you were able to have 'invisible walls' so there would therefore be no throw ins or corners. This is extremely entertaining. (Not essential)

I love Fifa 11 and I am totally addicted to it, especially Ultimate Team, but I would love it if you could include the second point as I have visited Japan loads of times and would like to transfer some of them to my club in Manager Mode. Also if you included the DLC stadium packs, I am sure you would make a lot of money and it would be great. Also leave the music and chants section as that is an amazing feature.

Please take my ideas into consideration.

i thought fifa 11 was boring but fifa 12 should be like gta but soccer like buy house and etc,should bring back international selection and where club pick u not u pick the club at the start of your career and you should also put in like lower clubs where you can get drafeted to the big legues that be seet and every year you should be abel to make your own jursey for every seson that be sweet and you should put training in where if you dnt train well you dnt get picked somthing like that be cool

Make tricks easier to complete I can do them sometimes in the arena but in game I am loosing the ball trying to complete tricks!

Have a youth team/academy so the young player are able to go up more without having to play them in the first team. Also make it easier for players you loan out to go up. Every time i loan out my younger players they never go up. Re-introduce scouting again!

I belive to make Fifa 12 an even greater success then Fifa 11, the gameplay should continously flow, zero load screens zero pauses. For example when the ball was to go out for a goal kick, the keeper would quickly run behind goal and collect another ball. The same would apply to throw ins, this would also allow for more counter attacks, as often the ball goes out for throw in high up the pitch, but because of the load the defenders are automaticly in position.

Fifa 12 needs: uefa champions league. Asian cup, more stadiums from australia

I think should be able to play as old teams such as like they have in madden nfl, imagine playing as the Real Madrid Galacticos against the 2004 arsenal team who went unbeaten or the 2002 brazil sqaud against the 98 french squad with todays graphics.

Also i am for more of an international involvement competition wise (world cup, european, asian african ect) and including more teams in the lower leauges and other leauges such as the Ukraine - Premier League.

And finally please punish people who quit before the end of the game.

One bug that I have noticed in fifa 11 is that:When a defender is covering (marking) 1st opponent and if the 2nd opponent lobs/chips the ball towards the 1st opponent you are marking, the defender who was marking the 1st opponent stops running /marking/defending.

-I believe that many people would like some more cinematic effects in the game. Such as the camera panning to the bench/manager/crowd during after a goal, dismissal, ref mistake, picking up a trophy at an award celebration etc...
-Career Mode needs to be more thought out. It needs to throw constant challenges at you depending on if your a player, player manager, & manager. For instance a player if unhappy can use his agent to instigate a transfer or his image can be shaped but what he does on a day off, does he go clubbing and have a playboy persona in the media or does he go train and show complete dedication to the game. A manager has to deal with player temperament, team chemistry, crazy owners, pressure from the media and fans, his style is created through his choices.
-Youth system & scouting, this is VITAL to keeping the career mode fresh & exciting
-As a player you should be able to go to the training ground an improve, and a manager should choose training dates
-Make clubs more dynamic, you should deal with media, other coaches, the owner etc
-Have an owner mode, where you can hire coaches, scouts, medics, media channels, BUILD or IMPROVE stadiums(but reasonable, for instance Chelsea wouldn't be able to improve Stamford Bridge cuz of location so they would have build somewhere nearby)
-National friendlies and qualifiers during the season
-National team call ups boost confidence in a player
-More national teams like Iran
-More leagues like Argentina
-Game specific Jerseys
-Ref should be more realistic like he stops the game if a player is seriously injured unless there is a goal scoring opportunity in a vital moment
-If an opponent is injured and I pass the ball out of play the AI should give the ball back in respect or if they keep that adds some fire to the game
-MORE STADIUMS!!!
-Better player growth
-Trophy/Awards cabinet
-More fan chants
-Proper atmosphere. For instance Liverpool v United the home crowd are extra hostile and louder than normal, the players are more aggressive, the ref is partial to the home side, big players can flop under the pressure or revel under it, the supporters shown to create banners like you see in the Milan derby. There also should be fights, and bad blood between players should carry to the next derby game.
-Make negotiating realistic for instance if I offer a 34 year old Italian player double his salary with 10% bonus per clean sheet to play with a U.N.A.M he should be tempted, rather than me getting a message saying this player is used to playing in more prestigious leagues.
-Basically FIFA12 needs to realize that every action has reaction and that shapes the way you play the game. If you can realize this through add-ons, online updates, or whatever method FIFA12 has the potential to be the best football game EVER!
