if you are going to make Fifa 2010 even better then like the other Fans are saying you should be able to see your team (that you manage) lift the trophy and you should the hand ball rule.

fifa 09 was an awsome game but there was one real major thing that let it down.....kit numbers. i couldnt believe that u cant change the kit numbers! i signed david villa on manager mode and he was number 2. that really bugged me and kinda ruined the game for me. also perhaps in manager mode u could manage international teams and like select squads and play qualifiers for cups and stuff. u should also bring back youth systems so you can develope home grown talent. also make it so wen u win a cup the players get medals and lift the cup up. also perhaps in manager mode u could design urself in a suit and see urself givin instructions on the touchline. i fink that would be pretty cool.

First of all I'd like to say thank you for a good FIFA game, finally! I've been more of a PES fan since
I discovered PES2 but this year you finally did it. While FIFA has been improving quite well for the
past 3 years PES has not done anything to improve the game and I'm completely hooked on FIFA09.

But here are my suggestions on how to make FIFA even better:
- Save replays, I mean c'mon it's ridiculous that you can't save your replays, I've got 60GB of HDD
space just waiting for classic FIFA moments

- the usual, ref AI, player AI.. what annoys me the most is that when you're on a break playing one two
with another player and running towards goal the comp plyr just keeps on running like an idiot and
runs offside even if he should be able to see the line clearly or often there is no defender but 2 players
clear on goal and he runs ahead to be offside like a complete moron (Dirk Kuyt). Also there is the
eternal GK AI debate, you know what I'm talking about. Takes to long to rush out even if you call him
out, when you do call him out and play goes sideways or something he just runs around like a brainless
cave man inside the box not figuring out to run back towards goal and not responding when a shot
or a cross comes in. Also when a shot is deflected off a defender he doesn't respond to try save
it from a corner but just stands on his line like a muppet!

- Improved Manager mode, buying players is to easy, selling them to, needs more realism.
also I would like to see it become more of a management game in manager mode, a mini FM game
Also a fun fact is that after you improve your stadium to level 7 it doesn't make sense to do it more
cos the cost will exceed the earnings from ticket sales by a mile! Would be nice if you had like a
manager mode that looks similar to Premier Manager 98 if you remember that... were you sign
your staff that is rated with stars (1-5) and don't just improve the level by upgrading staff level but
actually have to build a good backroom staff. I would also want to have more control in terms of
ticket price, like in pounds how much each section costs, instead of just low, medium or high ticket
prices.

- Cheating, yes it's a part of the game and it should be in FIFA 10 as well. I think you should be able to
dive, have a button combination for deliberate foul (leg breaking tackles towards knee) you should
be able to take of your shirt celebrating and get booked for it. And even headbutt somebody like
when you are playing with a hot head like Rooney. Should be able to throw elbows in corners and
stuff like that.

- The Be A Pro Mode could easily become so much better. That's the only part that PES did manage
to do better for this years game. You should be able to start off at 17 and play throughout a whole
player career (35 or something). The player should not automatically play all 90 mins and should be
dropped to the bench if he doesn't perform for many games in a row. Training matches and even
reserve team matches could be used to earn a spot in the first team squad. The improvement of the
player stats should not be as dramatic as they currently are, and I would even like to see a mode
where you could makethe player better in training by doing various tasks like dribble challenge,
crossing, shooting, weight lifting at the gym, kind of like in the EA Fight Night games. Improvements
should be earned through hard work like in real life. You could also add a feature which allows
players to sign endorsement contracts and stuff to improve their profile and image. This would
make it easier to move to another club of a higher profile than the current one.

- Why on earth is there no training mode in the latest FIFA games? This is very stupid, you should be
able to set up training and practice different aspects of the game such as corner, free kicks etc.
Also the free kick taking is really bad, doesn't really make sense and must be improved.

- In terms of animations and cut scenes I'll leave that up to your imagination to figure out, I don't
really care about the cut scenes, I'm happy if the game play is good. But there is one thing I have
to criticize! When you have played a long season and won the league and/or the cup you don't even
get a cut scene with celebration. That is so s***! I mean everyone wants to see their team lift the cup
and celebrate a victory where the crowd goes mad when the cptn lifts the trophy a loft! That is
something that you must improve! Photo shot where the team is celebrating and confetti and
fireworks are in the background, posing in front of the Barclays Premiership sign, C'mon!

- One thing that annoys me a lot is the tactics mode, I think that you need to take a look at PES to get
that one right! It's very frustrating that you can't easily edit your teams formation before a game
without having to save each freakin' tactic. You should be able to move each player easily to the
desired position without having to save all the time creating 20 different saved tactics.

- The Adidas Live season is a great fun introduction to the new FIFA and I like it a lot. But I think it has
been taken a bit to the extreme. I mean c'mon Arsenal are playing well at the moment but their
defense is not miles ahead of Liverpool, Man U, Chelsea. that's just rubbish. I think it swings to the
extremes to drastically. That has to be improved. Also I would I would like to see more leagues next
season, and keep the current price for it is quite fair I think for all the leagues.

Well can't think of more things to complain about ;P
But over all I'm very satisfied with the game.
But if these things I've mentioned would be included in the next game I would be extremely happy!

Here are my suggestions for FIFA 10:

SET PIECES:
you should be able to create custom tactics for free kicks and corners. i.e be able to pre create/control the runs of the players in the box.
you should have more contol over the positioning on players in the wall (free kicks)
bring back quick free kicks
Give greater control over direct free kicks. bring back the control function where you have a picture of the ball, and you simply click where you want the player to hit the ball (to produce swerve/curl)

FOULS:
Bring in handball
again, quick free kicks
some kind of aggression meter, to alow players to become increasingly angered and show decent (get booked/sent off) however this should be optional.
incorrect offside decisions. real officials dont get every offside decision correct, it would make it more exciting. maybe this should also be optional.
Introduce a dive button: i know it shouldnt be incoraged bla bla bla but, IT HAPPENS, for the game to be truely realistic we need to be able to dive, this should also be punishable by the referee if it is blatant.

MANAGER MODE:
Improve transfers; sooo many times ive tried to buy a player and i fail because "there are not enough players on manchester united" (doesnt even make sence for a start). either remove this problem, or make other AI teams buy and sell players aswell, that way if they had a low number of players in their squad they could buy more players, allowing us to buy the player we want.

at the end of the season, if you have done well, you should recieve offers from other clubs for your services rather than just asking if you wish to change teams. that way you would be able to work your way up from lower leagues realisticly.

Why are there no FA Cup replays???? it goes to extra time, thats not realistic!

SQUADS:
Include more players (young players) e.g Miroslav Stoch from chelsea (might also help solve the squad size problems)

BE A PRO:
Career should be longer than 4 seasons. like in pro evolution. you should be able to create a young player e.g 17 and take him through his entire career until he is 35-40 (maybe even infinatly). [The players would have to apear to age during their career, obviously]

GENERAL GAME PLAY:

occasionaly throughballs are a bit wayward

4.In the cover of fifa 2010 Ochoa and U.S. soccer players should be excluded.I think that Ronaldihno,Cristianito Ronaldo,and Lionel Messi should be in the U.S. cover of fifa 2010.

6.For the U.S. version of fifa 2010 Gianluigi Buffon should be the arena goalkeeper not kirkland.(Also there can be a arena goalkeeper selection).
7.Cairo International Stadium and Estadio Santiago Bernabeu should be the new stadiums in fifa 2010.

16.The teams should take pictures and the captains should switch their logo flags and watch and bet on a coin toss and the captains should shake hands.

18.When a substitution or stoppage time is introduced a person should hold the electronic board.
19.If a captain is replaced he should be seen giving his cap to the vice-captain.

Hey i'm back again.. i really think that the youth team option should be reincorporated...people don't just scout player and add the to the line-up right one... it really rare, scouted players should be given time to develop in the YOUTH ACADEMY... and i'm tired of scouting Brazilian players named John Paderewski or Wu tang , you get the idea. and the name of the players gotten from scouting should be heard in the games.. and adding faces to them wouldn't be bad at all...
i thought FIFA was gonna improve youth academy from fifa 06 but they took it off. WHY? It is one of the most important thing in manager mode.....Believe me

i think that rule if a player passes back to the goalkeeper and picks it up there should be a freekick in box, because the number of back passes ive seen on 09 that the keeper picks up

Well i think fifa 09 is a great game, but it could even be better.
These ideas would make it better for some people.
1-Include more africans teams such as egypt and cote d' voir.
2- add some of the top teams in leagues that are not available fully in fifa 09 such as egyptian league.
3- the advantage rule in the game from fouls and such needs some improvements. sometimes you end up with a clear chance on goal but you end up getting a foul from a while before.
4-we need a way to cancel a pass command before receiving the ball.
5-less complicated skill moves. and a tutorial for the moves that shows how the analog moves.
6-more commentator lines.
7-being able to see the substitute's bench with the players sitting on and the manager. and maybe the manager stands up in the middle of the game and talks to the players when changing tactics or something like a foul or goal happens.
that's all i can think of right now. thank you for listening and i cant wait for the fifa 10.

one thing that I dont think has been adressed is when the stats and match facts are shown at the end of each game. I sometimes have friends round at my house and sooner or later we are battling it out on fifa. Its usually 4v4 however we never get to see how each person played individually. i.e instead of it being match facts at the end of each game have it has player facts. Then at least when someone says we lost because of so and so they can have a look at who was to blame.

more realistic transfers i was on the transfer market and seen petr cech for crewe alexandra like that would happen and players like drogba for example was in the free agents section that is not realistic.

I would love to see a bit more identity in players, at least by category.
Players could be classified with style's of speed, technical, power, etc.
By these classifications, they should have particular animations.
= make the players seem a bit less indistinguishable

Example:
Cristiano Ronaldo, category:speed(choppy), should have a different style of animations then Wayne Rooney's category:power(heavy).

Another realistic addition would be boots updates.
Either through update or through slight purchase, users should be able to keep up with player’s latest boot choice

If Fifa2010 is looking for a larger addition, the practice arena should finally be upgraded. It would be grand if the arena player’s team, along with subs, reserves, and coaches, are stationed around the field, participating in different drills. If the player himself may be able to join in on the drill, leading to some kind of mini-game based exercise, the game would become the more realistic.

I cant believe the Argentinean League is not in any of the FIFA games.
It should be there for '10. Its one of the best from the world. Big players from the argentinean leagues are now playing in the best clubs in the world.
Ex; tevez, aguero, lavezzi,denis,cvitanich, jonas gutierrez, zanetti, veron, etc.........

why you took off the YOUTH TEAM in manager mode? IT was great!!! you scout players and put them on your youth team as they improve and you promote them when they're ready..
also It would be nice if scouting was more specific. it would be nice to be able to scout players from a particular country.. of course it would be ridiculous to put all the countries but what about putting the big names and than the rest in categories like rest of Europe, America etc.....
Also i don't like when every time you scout somebody who's name is for example James Cole he's from Poland or something.. the names should match the country 90 % of the time( there are exceptions) also it's ridiculous when people get scouts 80 overall all the time( 70 to 75 is acceptable) that's where the youth team is useful.. they go there first and
develop after you've trained them and depending on how good your youth team personals are and the players potential...YOUTH TEAM is really important in manager mode( you grow your own talent etc...)... Also just like it is in college basketball games we should hear the names of the scouts...
if this matter is handled properly FIFA 10 would be greater than ever. Also the weather is important( rain,snow, morning, noon, night, sunset, stormy , ect.., of course it would be depending on the place( Germany, Italy, Spain ect...)
I don't think what i said there are impossible because they were incorporated in the old fifa's and it was nice...
reincorporate the YOUTH TEAM system would be great!!!!

I thought fifa 09 was revolutionary. however there are a couple of areas which must be looked at to avoid gamer dissatisfaction.

1: You must find a way to stop abuse of gamers quitting early. I realise the need to take into account bona fide people with bad connections. But the majority of time, quitting is occuring due to the other person losing. pes 6 had a pretty good way of dealing with it. that somebody could disconnect up to say half time or 60 mins and wouldnt be penalised. however if they quit after that time the other person would be given a 3-0 win and the quitter would get a 3-0 loss. i think it would help to discourage this as the ranking system at the moment is not indicative of the abilities of some players.

2: Switching between defenders can be a problem. sometimes i have to click three times to get control of the player i wanted and by that time its too late.

Other than that fifa 09 was a cracking game but ea MUST clamp down on abuses in xbox live matches.
