Hi great job with fifa 09.
Could have managers on touchlines being active, have some subs warming and they both react to
good/bad decisions. Perhaps have two commentators talking you through the line up before the game.
As its world cup next year, online you could have a mode where you play as your country of birth
or country who you support and that country as a whole battles it out for number one ranked country in
the world by the total of wins from that country.

FIFA game is my favorite game and i would make some changes...as:
-create your own players (like in real life.. start in age of 17 and then go to your own career and play only your player, to receive contracts from other clubs,,,on contract should be: how many years on contract, how much money,which club...i repeat like in real life)
-maneger mode should be more realistic (work day by day, talk to players...)
-ref, should be on left and right side raising the flag (be more details)
-more leagues (European)
-more realistic when players dribbling, when falls,when crossing,shooting...
-more details players (tatoo,face,hair...)
-different weather conditions

First of all i would like to say that FIFA 09 was a great game, and that i did and still do enjoy playing it. But here i have a few ideas that i belive would make the game better.

x First of all i would like a new game mode called " all against all ". I think you should be able to pick a rage of different players to play against each other around one goal. You should be able to pick a minimum of 4 players and pick up 10, maybe higher.
I also think that you should be able to pick if you control the goalkeeper.If this feature is used i belive that you should be able to press " X " and the direction you want to dive down low. You need to press " A " to make a diving save in the air . You should press " Y " to dive at the players legs when they are near. And you should press " B " to Palm anything away that is straight at you. I think that the keeper should catch the ball by them self, and tip over the ball over the bar. I think that when you choose to play this game mode you be able to pick a range of different locations to hold it. Such as Training Fields, Against a wall ( Street or Park ), At a park goals, In a Empty staidium with a few fans and maybe some indoor sports hall or something along the lines of those locations.
Also the " ALL AGAINST ALL " game mode will have different types of "ALL AGAINST ALL" There is one where all the players are trying to score and if and when they do that certain player is "Through". Which means that the player will need to stand off the pitch untill the the next round. The next Round takes place when all players are through. But the last remaining player is out and cannot continue in that certain game. This Sequence continues through out the game untill there is only 2 players left. At this point you can pick if you want to continue what you have ben doing and see which player score the right amount of golas first. You should be able to pick how many goals are needed to win ( 1,2,3,4,5) Or i belive that you should be able to settle who wins via a penalty shoot out . I belive that when you are playing in the Arena when you are not playing a match. If you press the ” BACK ” button you bring up a ” Arena Menu ” From this menu you should be able to pick if yo want to bring any other player into the arena. So you can more players onto you team or you can choose to play against different player so you practise in game moves such as skills.

One last thing i would like to add is that the power bar in the arena is different to the power bar in a match so you cannot practise free kicks in the arena becaue the power bar is different. So if you become good in the arena you cannot use this skill in a match

I think you need to look at altering the difficulty levels as I find the harder the game is - the more boring it is. I find myself playing nil nil games on Legendary and World Class time and time again, I just get frustrated and turn off. Difficulty seems to have one parameter which is how quickly the computer closes you down, but you need to understand that not all teams play like that even if they are world class in real life. I understand that as football games get more realistic then eventually you will have to play them for longer in order to have the enough opportunities to score but I don't think we are at that level yet. I think you need to do things like improving the intelligence of your team-mates, making quality players noticably better than others, improved ball-control and movement of the players (exceptionally woeful and at times they move like a calf taking it's first steps!) and generally injecting a little more fun into the game. I think that Fifa is now miles better than PES but as an example of well rounded gameplay take a look at ISS Pro Evolution on PS1, that still plays beatifully to this day. Good luck in making Fifa 10, I am eagerly anticipating what you will deliver!

- Seasons starting when the transfer window is open, start all games on July 1st or Jan 1st(where relevant)
- Pre-season on new gen consoles
- Added leagues(Russia? and co)
- Correct league format(Brazil)
- More realistic budgets in the EPL, Newcastle for example have far too much for example
- Better player stat progression
- Practice mode back
- Real time throw ins, no cutscene(Corners and Free Kicks is a push)
- Europe from the onset, teams that qualified for the CL and Europa League actually in them from the first season
- National tournaments, world cup type and Euro
- More realistic valuations and transfer list in MM

It should be possible to be kicked or sold as a player in Be A Pro.
Also, everytime you start a season as a Be A Pro or manager, your team should be in the lowest league. Then perform to advance higher.

I think Fifa 09 is the best Fifa there has been in years. But there are still a couple of issues I have.

Be the Pro Season was very boring and it needed some form of drama to hook me in. In the end, the get achievements I just sat for half an hour simming every single game untill the final Internation Cup.

I think sometimes the shooting can be a little unrealistic, for sure the heading. Seriously, heading in from a cross happens just about every game in reality, yet even a scent of a defender anywhere near you makes the heading system extremely sensitive. I think heading should be made easier, and maybe include a heading down option.

Also regarding shooting, it seems to me at times to be easier to score from outside the 18 yard box than from 8 or 10 yards, the goals fly in almost every time with half decent players from quite far out. This is cool but it seems unrealistic. Surely it should be easier to score from 6 yards with a little pressure and the goalie almost on top of you, than from 25yards out with the outside of your boot.

I love the flick pass/shoot option, but it's often not appropriate when used. I wanna control when it happens and when not as I've had times where I need pace on a pass and the flick is used and I lose possession due to the week nature of the flicks (same can be said for shots) And when I want a quick bass to made to the player behind me, I want it to be a back heel, and I have to turn all the way round and invariably have pressure on me as this wastes time.

Get new cover stars too. They are now not the peak of excellence in football. Fifa 06, Fifa 07, Fifa 08, Fifa 09, it gets old. Sorry, didn’t mean to use three posts. =)

I agree. Create a Club would be awesome too. It would also add something fresh to Ultimate Team, if it is to be updated with Fifa 10, as you could look exactly how you want rather than have thousands of people with the same shirt and a Man Utd badge lol. Weather variants need to happen more too imo.

maybe do the fans better, maybe somtimes, a fan running into the match, or something, and do a lan in be a pro,

if you play internatonal, let them sing the national anthem,
but do nothing with the grafic , its super nice, if it comming higher grafic details, no computers can require it, and that should not happend, im very big fifa fan.

If you maybe can do, if you dont want play self, do maybe a manager mode, so you only are manager, but can see how they play, and you can do tactics,

champions league games at night,snow in december in manager mode!more stadiums etc villa park. different comentary for ucc games,and different layout at the beginning of the matches.

-A way to accept fouls and not play on the advantage. (I often get fouled, but the game plays advantage even though I really don't have one. Example: the ball is partly cleared and a defender gets it...)
-Better quick freekicks. Not only the person you are has to take it; players don't set up for them.
-Actual refs on the field, so maybe a poor vantage point can let a foul slide (barely offsides) or be called when there isn't one.
-A way to chose where players will stand during set pieces. (Example: With Man Utd, I would prefer Ronaldo in the box to score instead of positioned for a short freekick.)
-Better time management for transfer season in manager mode.
-Tougher league competition. (After three seasons once, Chelsea were relegated!!)
-Computers better in transfers! (Often let great players go on freemarket [got Fabregas once that way] and the great teams don't do much to build up. After a few seasons they may still play with old, not as good players.)
-Better team selection by computers! I played Barelona in the CL final where Messi AND Eto'o didn't start.
-Give players the chance to have multi-positions. For Aston Villa, Ashley Young is labelled a RWM so he switches to the right instead of playing on the left. Happens a lot for multiple different teams.
-Allow more than three international players to leave for the friendlies!! Will make the game more life like.
-Better way to unlock legendary difficulty. I prefer not to play through all 4 English leagues...
-Better stat keeping. Like top scorer for each different tornament and then one for all of Europe. Shots campared to shots on goal.
-Fix the Dutch squad! Two straight games and it isn't close. FIFA 08 even had players who were high OVR but didn't exist anywhere else.
-more productive youth! No more players coming up to not play. Rather annoying!!
-If a play with low OVR plays a lot more than expected, have a large increase in the summer.
-Also fix Real madrid. Certain players are highly rated except for in FIFA. (Pepe, Higuin)

More International teams. More music and be able to create are own jerseys.

Some details about framework, no in-game comments;

* I miss a training option in Manager mode, that you could use to get a feel of your team before and between matches.

* In real life, a semi-adequate player in a lower divisjon might have one really good skill, and one equally poor. As far as TECHNIQUE goes, with the fancy feints and stuff; that only big club-players can do it seems, this doesn't show in F09, I think.

* More Manager Mode, a couple of thing bothering the freaky purist;
- The way you control the players' growth is a bit too sci-fi, i think, even though I like the ideá of having somewhat control over it.
- Finally, a question: Why are some players faceless? Is it a copyright thing? It seems they have the right faces in-game, so if it's possible; give the guys their faces back.

i love FIFA 09, this is the best football game till now, but some details are to be improved:
-The possibility in carreer mode to have different wethear condotion more easily and more often.
-the possibility to buy another stadium in carreer.
The net in the cage should be differents (a bit less rigid, some ground has narrow net other deeper 's...)
-the goal keeper : when a ball comes to him very close sometime he does'nt move.
-improve referee and advantage rule
-sometimes the player slows before controling the ball.

-i think that the english non league clubs should be on there, e.g. gloucester city, worcester etc.
-you should be able to have a wembley mode and maybe headers and volleys.
-if you want to you should also be able to put players on your team and against you in the arena.
-i think that just because a player isnt in the top 4 or the best teams in the word that it shouldnt be good at penalties and should be slow.

i reckon they should do a champions leauge on it and do the UEFA iswell if you dnt get into the champions leauge

Btw fifas gameplay is MUCH BETTER THAN PRO’S !!!!!

1.please make manager mode more detailed its been the same since it started, it gets too boring too quickly.
2.make more official stadiums in the premier league like white hart lane, villa park, Manchester city stadium and goodison park, if its too hard just make the generic stadiums more realistic with bigger pitches.
3.make the way the grass more real, because sometimes the pitch is firm not always soft.
4.get the player shapes right, most of the players are ridiculously big and some look fat.
5.make more variations in shots because they tend to do the same shot over and over again.

There should be some awards at the end of the manager mode seasons. Player of the year, Rookie of the Year, Golden Boot, Coach of the Year..etc and also player stats should also be tracked by year like in NBA Live and NBA Live.
Also wehen players are injured, they should be carried off the pitch with injury updates

Make Fifa Club matches just win and lose...it would be great intensity a penalty shootout

Whats the point in having different weather condisions if the dont change in manager mode the weather is always sunny day???????

and in manager mode (which i love), we should be able to work day by day in the calender because during the transfer season you dont get enough time to buy a player you want.

hope you take this into consideration.

- At the end of a season in Manager mode, you miss out on most of the transfer season unless you have a game scheduled.
- Editing kit numbers. Currently if a player gets assigned a 3digit number, it doesnt display properly on the back of their uniform
- To be able to schedule practice games, even with teams from other leagues
- Have players missing from squad if they are playing for their national team that week

i think you should have a career mode where you can be a footballer then when you retire you could be a manager

1) I think that occasionally the linesman shouldn't call you offside if it's really close, because, in real life the linesmen sometimes makes mistakes. I've got fifa 09 on ps3 and sometimes the yellow and red lines are on top of each other! It can be really annoying. 2) Be able to choose which arena you play in and be able to have 2 players in the arena.
3)Some variety on the front cover. I'm from Australia and the last few covers have had Rooney and Ronaldinho.

Adding South American Leagues would be nice considering we've been waiting for a very long time. Also, allowing Goalkeepers to kick penalties during the match at any time (not during penalty shootouts.) and adding goalkeepers to Arena *I know many people wish they could use Rogerio Ceni for Arena player* why lie I enjoy FIFA 09 just wish these things were added on FIFA 10 or 2010. thanks EA for allowing us to post our suggestions and hope the best comes out of FIFA 10. I am a firm user of Manager Mode and i think that it should have more features in it to keep it feeling more and more realistic as a football manager and to also keep it fun and exciting.

the games is fantastic, they get better every time, but for 2010 you should:

1. bring back edit kit number, annoying when messi wears no. 2
2. a youth set up in manager mode. not playabel games but include an academy at all clubs where you can track the results and player stats, and bring them into the first team when ready.
3. player growth is uneven and unrealistic. at big clubs youngsters dont always get the chance, but loaning them doesnt seem to do them much good either, so natural growth and the ability to griw when in youth academy would be a good idea.
4. tackling, heading, physical battles could do with a bit more realism

Easier inteface for player transfering between clubs, squads etc

fans should be more realistic, more responsive to decisions and players, more songs better animation. also, brightening the pitch would be better, not every pitch is worn in the corners and dull.

you have to realise that this is FIFA, not UEFA, therefore a licensed good of FIFA. Therefore they aren't really gonna add Champions league to it.

On manager mode you should be able to manage a country
like go and find new talent from teams and scout them for your country and take them through world cups and the other cups.
Good luck on fifa 10 and other fifa's i am a huge fan.

Include more real life academy players and include more first team players. on ps2 include the kick around at the central hub and be able to perform your own celebrations. Include conference and non-league clubs so that you can start from the bottom and work your way up. Also if you finish in a champions league position then be able to play in the champions league. Include St marys stadium in southampton and more premiership grounds. Show more animation on the touchline including manager reacting to decisions, linesmans, players warming up and sitting on the bench and the referee. Also be able to play it from a mangers point of view so you call out tactics to your players etc. Also have more decisions that are wrong to make it more life like. the features of some of the ps3 game should be put on the ps2 version because we do not have the training bit on at the start. in 09.
I also think that for all the platforms there should be an interview of your manager on manager mode and on be a pro the media should interview your player and you should be given certain options to say back to them.
Also there should be like a pre match build up with interviews and newspaper articles.
Finally there should be better actions when your player gets injured such as stretcher e.t.c
with this fifa 10 will be as good on ps2 as any other platforms!!
When teams win a cup, show them going up to receive the trophy and have interviews with players. Include Champions League. Last of all, make it the same on all platforms rather than making it better on one than the other and make sure you bring it out on PS2.

Make transfers more realistic like being able to bring players in on loan and send them out. you choose who and for how long.

Another thing is to include better commentry. They say things like ‘he was never going to score from there when he was 10 yards out’ so they need to include better commentry and change they commentators john motson. Also show a highlights programme like MOTD in the central hub of manager mode and be able to use those highlights to change tactics and corner techniques etc.
