2. When a player is injured on the pitch, a physio/medic should escort him off the field (depending on the extent of the injury).
Also the injuries should last longer than in FIFA 09, and have different kinds of injuries.
3. More Premiership stadiums to replace the generic ones.
4. For substitutions, the players that are going on and leaving the field, should interact with each other, and the player going off should be congradulated by the staff and other substitutes. The manager and staff should also be visible during gameplay, and so should a couple of substitutes warming up.
5. There should be varying weather conditions for different times of the year. E.g. snow and rain in winter, sun in summer.
6. Handball should be introduced again, and in some circumstances, a caution or sending off should be issued appropriately.
7. You should be able to alter the kit numbers on Manager Mode.
8. The CPU should also use the skill moves, and execute them better depending on the difficulty level.
9. EVERY player should be able to hit the target from 10 yards out. On FIFA 09 you would tap a shot with a player and they would blaze it over the bar!
10. Cup replays if the game was a draw. The Carling Cup should also be included to replace the English League Cup.
11. All pitches should be different dimensions e.g. Nou Camp should be a lot bigger than Crown Lane.
12. In game goal-updates should be included. If you are in a relegation battle or Championship decider on the last day of the season, you would want to what was happening in the other games.

17. More songs and chants for Premiership teams e.g. You'll Never Walk Alone for Liverpool, and the crowd should react when a player is sent off, or when they are unhappy about a substitution. Also when the home team score it should be a lot noisier, and you should see the crowd celebrating more realistically, not just standing up.
18. Commentary needs more depth because sometimes it doesn't make sense. Andy Gray should input a lot more of his tactical and team knowledge than he does. He should also talk a lot more about the abilities of individual players e.g. when they score, or come on.
19. A setting which ables you to choose throw-in takers, plus a stat should be added for throw-in takers ability.

-also not every slide tackle that results in a foul should be penalised with a yellow card. obiviously 80% are worthy of a yellow card are should be carded but the other 20% just a foul
-crowd reactions depending on the way home or away and how they are performing. e.g empty stadium if 3 down in the 65 min or singing if 3 up in the 65 min.
-also the young players (< 26 years of age) should gain experience even if they arent playing first team games because just like in the real world they do train or play in youth teams or 2nds teams and gain experience through that. obiviously not as much as playing in the first team.
but come on 09 is a top game these minor adjustments would make it.. LENGENDARY. What would fifa 2011 have to do except be a repeat or an update?
Real life Ultras groups. Etc Juventus-Drughi, Inter-Curva Nord with real chants.
More real pitches. Training as a game mode. Real life player celebrations e.g. Steven Gerrard running arm pump, and also allow players to celebrate with the crowd.

However in a new addition I would love to see the following:
(1) A Be A Pro season which plays like the manager mode, allowing for a teenager to be brought up through the youth team and reserves, playing out his entire career cycle.
(2) The inclusion of all cups and tournaments in the Be A Pro mode.
(3) To see structural improvements in your stadiums when paying the upgrades. (Notts County look silly when they've reached the premiership only to still play the home games at the small ground).
(4) A kit edit feature to allow for teams league status represented on their sleeves and the inclusion of created teams.
(5) Use the live camera to place your own face on a player or put the correct place of an incorrect professional.
(6) Visible subs and manager at the pitch side, warming up, yelling commands.
(7) More crowds noises getting behind their team when their heads are down or a player is on a hot streak.
(8) When using the close marking buttons you should be able to pull the players shirt and then the duration pressed would potential led to a foul, thus appropriate use would be needed. This would be ideal for corners creating the need for players to move away from the markers in order to attack the ball.
(9) A edit feature for set plays, so that you can practice and set runs on the training pitch so that they reflect real set plays.
(10) Be able to move the wall and keeper during free kicks to avoid those with great stats and ability always scoring and walls that can creep forward and gain ground.
(11) Have player attributes and personalities visible and taken in to consideration when buying them in manager mode. i.e Ronaldo always doing tricks, Drogba potentially diving in the box.
(12) A proper practice pitch to tinker with formations. Practice free kicks with players and walls.
(13) A skill trick creator, editor.
(14) Better use of weather features during the season, similar to the new Tiger Woods 10.
(15) Quicker more responsive change player controls.
(16) A return of the classic matches modes using the correct players and kits, the option to play the full matches as well as the relevant sections. World Cup finals, upsets.
Does it have to be sunny every game?
Too many offsides, especially because the CPU makes your player delay his pass.

get real with the fatigue stuff - when you start your players take a fortnight to recover, when you get to 9 or 10 they practically recover overnight.
More realistic injuries.
Stop playing two matches in one day.
bring back the academy.
make the players you sign in scouting under 20.
make the transfer window more realistic - if you want to play anything but UK leagues, French league or German league you don't have a chance to improve your squad and get rid of the dead wood.
Stop the blatant cheating by the CPU - paralysing defenders so that your opposition can score a late equaliser doesn't make it exciting, it just makes it exasperating. Likewise some of the misses are a bit obviously nothing to do with the player.
If you're going to have player growth, make it mean something to how players play - esp the rubbish you talk about how jostling and jumping are now dependednt on size/strength - that's just bs, designed to make it seem like you've improved the game.
Make CPU defences more realistic - not everybody defends by putting eight people in the box and making ten yad sliding tackles.
Talking of slide tackles, have you ever watched a football match - most defenders just don't risk giving away penalties by making the sort of sliding tackles in FIFA. esp as its impossible for us to make one without getting a minimum yellow card.
Make the advantage rule like an advantage rule as opposed to way of stopping players actually attacking. And the nonsense where oppsoing players get booked for "fouls" that happened before the play stopped is fooling no-one.
Less free kicks breaking up the game - it's mostly unenjoyable now.
make it about skill - most of the time you might as well not try to do anything with the control pad.
If you score a goal, in real life, and there's been a foul, you get awarded the goal - not the penalty.
make the freekicks about skill in how you take them, and who takes them.
there's a lot more, but it's so full of annoying stuff, it ruins the game and it's not worth buying again.
This just as a suggestion - it might be nice in the arena to have multiple players, also the ability to practice corners might be nice, and maybe those free kicks.. defenders could appear for. that way the arena can be used for training. without having to add a whole extra mode for training,
I would love for the croud to be a little more 3D, but i know this would be damn near impossible, but how about, when you score a goal and it goes into the video mode.. pan across some fan's celebrating. or some fan's a little unhappy at their team for letting one in. that way it wouldnt take up too much coding for it as it is just a short clip.. make say 2 for unhappy and 2 for happy. it will give some much needed variation to the cardboard cut outs in the stands at the moment that appear to sway in the wind.
Finally - create a team from scratch - all custom players, but make it so any boosts gained to their stats in say.. manager mode or be a pro stays on the player when you use it in exibition. (i know be a pro does this already but manager mode does not).
I like the idea somebody else suggested of the weather actually taking effect in play, if it snows.. the pitch becomes harder to play on. rain.. players slide more and find it a little harder to controll the ball ect ect ect.
Maybe a few more legend teams, you could even do a legends team per country. :) other than that you will do a wicked job.
the music will be fantastic. the interface is always good.
PS Kill martin tyler and andy grey before they ever comentate another fifa game, gow the things they say are aweful. I know they are added as a joke, "either team could be winning this, they could be drawing" like.. yeah no s***? what their is another outcome I dont know about? was funny for a while but grrrr :)
include the world cup option and european cup options for international teams, like from fifa 98.

- real names for the champions league and uefa cup/europa league instead of ecc and efa
- pre season competitions , such as emirates cup or amsterdam tournament
- the training could be specified to any individual player and focus on one or more of his attributes. and this should be allowed for many players during one day
-youth teams, and reserve teams which you can control as well and do the same to them as you can to your first team, such as training and team management for thier squad, also you should be able to take players from thier and add them to your first team squad
- more realistic results for other teams, for example, man utd should be able to crush west brom or second divsion teams.
- an indoor or futsal 5 a side off season for friendlies or fun competitions
-international breaks and the world cup and Euro
- coaching international teams in the off season for euro or the world cup
- more sponsor deals
- transfers from rival clubs possible but a much higher transfer sum

2. Update Manager Mode:
a.) More available options from the stand-point of general management of the team.
b.) Advanced training i.e. individual player training option (unlike the orthodox in reality), etc...
c.) Training should affect the player's fatigue a little bit less than the current in 09
d.) Advanced transfer option i.e. a manager has the option to trade multiple players for a superstar to the other team.
e.) Some type of youth training option or anything. Basically, create an option where it is easier and more interactive to search and train youth. The current option allows no interaction other than the CPU created response, etc...
3.) Tweak the authenticity of the European championships
4.) FIFA 10 has to have Santiago Bernabeu stadium. You have the greatest team of the century, arguably the most popular team in the world without it's home stadium. It just makes no sense, you gotta come to an agreement with RM management.

Note: on the 5th match I took 22 shots on target and he took 8 on target, and he won the match still. There were times where the ball would hit the bars 3 times and no goal. His keeper would stop impossible shots, and the worse is to have some players like Kaka taking shots from the penalty area with no keeper and the ball would stil no go in (I stop the player, moved it toward the goal and slighly pressed the button, the ball when over the goal).....
RUSSIAN LEAGUE MUST BE INCLUDED, by the way, i'm not from russia. Adidas Live Season for more than one season. Ultimate Team, maybe cheaper, i understand if EA doesn't want to sell it for free, there a business, and when you come up with extraordinary ideas like that, you deserve to be paid for it.
Even the Greek league would be good to see. If possible, licensing rights to UEFA Champs League and UEFA Cup. Euro and World Cups (international) The FIFA Club cup if you win your continents trophy.
If you want to simulate a match, you can have the choice of watching the match, like your playing it, or just skipping it. If you sim the match but want to watch it, you should be able to make more in depth tactical changes.
Half time team talk notes, to boost player morale. Don't favour overestimated players overalls, we know Rooney is good but maybe his starting over should be 84, Ronaldinho is in the same boat.
More realistic youth players, i singed a kid from Czeck Republic and his name was Chris Jones, if you can't get real youth players, at least make there last name fit with there nationality. Give them made-up faces, don't just use the player outline thing.
More realistic injuries, i got two in three weeks, both players dislocated their shoulders.
Be a pro, goalkeeper. Organise you defense from a corner or free kick, ie wall.
Commentators should mention Manager's job position, like, "After that shocking 2-0 loss to Hull City (just say there 15th or something) (insert managers name) is on his last legs at (insert club name)" Like when you create a player, your manager should have a name that commentators can say too.
Bicylce kicks shouldn't be so accurate, i scored two in one game, i never miss with a bicycle kick, kind of unrealistic.
Live score updates through matches has already been suggested, if EA can't be bothered making commentators say it, they could just have a little tab that pops up on the HUB every 15-25 mins, or in the pause menu, have "Live Scores" as a tab. In the live scores tab it could also feature the league table, say im winning 2-0 and if i win i go top, you have like a "as it stands" table.
More realistic fans reactions and it also frustrates me when i have to kick to the Kop End in the first half when i play as LFC.
Commentators should mention key pkayers absent from the lineup before the match.
In rivalry matches, players get into minor (or major) scuffles and cards can be dished out.
- More realistic injuries/ larger variety of falls after being slide tackled.
- An option to quickly make a custom team to create your own favourite XI.

a new gametype , where you choose your own players, while an opponent chooses their own players before you face off in a match opposing eachother. kind of like pokemon, but a fifa version where you have your own preferred players!
- easier to head the ball.

2.Make it easier to go around the keeper. I may not be the best Fifa player in the world but i find it near impossible to go around the keeper during one on ones like torres, but it is sometimes to easy to sidefoot it into the net. I think it the keepers should rush out faster but it should be easier to go around him when he does.
3. It should be easier for skilled players to score free kicks + adjust swerve velocity in Arena free kicks.
4. Take be a pro online back to 5 v 5. it is absolute chaos when its 10 v 10 as naturally everyone wants to run upfront and not do their job, resulting in players in the same team tackling each other, people trying to take on a whole team themselves and games ending in ridiculous scorelines.
5. Possibly introduce signature player styles. Flair players like Beckham, Van Persie, Ronaldo and others shoot, pass and dribble differently from normal players, and i would like to see this represented in the game. also quicker players like walcott and lennon run and dribble much quicker than others but i cant really see this in the game.
6. when a player is in the box, and a risky tackle or even slight brush occurs, something should quickly flash up that prompts you to press a button and go down if you choose to. i am tired of opportunities that i am 1 on 1 and i stumble over the keeper and it slows me down for the defender to clear, i would rather just go down. this chould always work though and the referee should be visibly seen waving away penalty appeals, or booking a player for the more obvious dives.
7. Integrate harder skills like kick ups into real match situations. It should be possible for skilled dribblers to do kick ups while on the move like Henry does. It should also be possible for defenders to use kickups to get themselves out of a difficult situation e.g. in their own corner to clear the ball over their head.
8. Bring managers and the bench into the game. it wouldnt hurt to show players in bibs and jogging bottoms jogging up and down the sidelines, and managers taking up different stances along the touchline or even punching the air when theres a goal or a penalty is saved. you dont have to use real managers for the ''lesser'' clubs but it would be good to at least have the top managers e.g. Fergerson, Wenger, Morinho.

More attention to detail - A number of kits in the game are incorrect, whether it be missing parts of a kit, or the wrong coloured numbers on the back (as a Watford fan who play in the Championship, we suffered both of these problems in Fifa 08 and still had the wrong coloured numbers in 09), also, why not include the Football League's official numbering and lettering?
3. Improved 'Manager Mode' - Manager mode should be day to day, should take into account time of the season with regards to weather etc., matches should be played at times of day as in real life i.e. Champions League games at night. Manager mode should also go far more in depth with regards to press conferences and player interaction, and when say a Championship club is promoted to the Premier League, their numbering and lettering should change in accordance to the league they're in. Manager Mode teams should also be avaliable for use in exhibition.
4. More in depth commentary/crowed noises - The in game commentary is far too generic and basic and has been pretty much the same for both Fifa 08 and 09, the commentators should go more in depth when commentating on goals, injuries etc. and should react differently to different types of goals, i.e a 40 yard screamer or a player running past 4/5 players to score should be greeted with more excitement than a tap-in by both the commentators and crowed. There should also be more personalised and varied crowed chants and reactions.
Managers in-game - Real life managers should also be featured in the game during matches, they should be seen in cut scenes during the game as well as during some goal celebrations etc. as well as having stats and traits that affect the team you're playing against.
Player movement/responsiveness/general play - Players in the game all run the same, they're all very stiff and run with seemingly perfect balance and ball control, players should show more effort and natural movement in the way they run and move, and turning should be more responsive, for example if Cristiano Ronaldo is running in a straight line and tries to turn right he will turn very slowly, despite having 96 agility, and gives the defence more than enough time to easily tackle/retrieve the ball. Goalkeepers often seem near impossible to go past, when running at a keeper they frequently seem to easily tackle/grab the ball of the player running with the ball, this should be altered to be more realistic.
