Your Ideas for FIFA 09

Hey! 1st of all, id like to say i am a HUGE fifa fan! I buy it every year since 1994(no bulls***), and i play it all year round when i have it(with the exception of a few days here and there of playing other new releases that i want to clear)! My Fifa 09 ideas are......

1. Be able to save your goals(not having to upload them, what happens if you dont have the internet)!
2. The superstar players eg. Ronaldo, Messi, Kaka, Ronaldinho etc, to be a hell of alot faster and skillful than the ordinary players!
3. To be able to build your own stadium and design it etc!
4. Better celebrations for when you score an extremely important goal and when you win semi finals and finals etc, all the subs and staff etc run out onto the pitch to celebrate!
5. Extreme weather conditions
6. When players get badly injured, get them strechered off
7. Show the manager and subs and staff celebrating on the sideline when an important goal is scored
8. Have a youth squad aswel, and be able to choose who to bring up into the first team etc!
9.Champions league matches to be always on at night!
10. Have team, player, manager, goal of the month etc! Then at the end of the season, have a player, manager, goal , team of the season! Do it more accurately this time! On fifa 08 i had Rooney as top goalscorer of the season by sbout 10 goals or so, and he didnt even make it into the team of the season! So if that could be accurate, that would be lethal!

Well thats all the ideas im gonna post up ! Fifa 08 is still an excellent game no matter what, but if you put some of these ideas(if not, all of them, haha) up, then fifa 09 is gonna be just soooooooooooo lethal! Thanks! Ps. I AM WITHOUT DOUBT, THE BIGGEST FIFA FAN ALIVE ; )

1) there should be more options to give your created player, like:
nike boots etc
those socks players wear over there team socks
able choose if your shirt is untucked
etc
2)diving etc
3)and the free kicks need some working out (needs to be easier to use lol)

*make the players look real as they are today(hair,body def.,etc.)
*more variety in boots such as nike vapors from 2007-8,adidas pure(kaka),and more.
*there is a problem when u zoom up too the players they are how they are but when u are playing in the match there hair looks weird either its too short or long or it doesnt look like his real hair
*have practice sessions such as "be a pro"and keep up wit the practice wit the other players and 1 touch passing, runnning threw drills such as cones perhaps.
*maybe 2 players in "Be a Pro"
*have players know their unique celebrations such as (kaka) pointing up at the sky, etc.

Please fix those penally kicks, it's not realistic for a goalie to slide down the goal line and make a save. Also at times it feels like the players have a ball magnet and keep running into each other. Thank you for letting us express.

I think the best inclussions would be shirt pulling and diving. Other good inclussions could be weather conditions affecting the pitch and changes in the players apperrance due to this weather conditions e.g wet hair and kit. More international teams and official international teams would also be a step forward. Sweat should show on players and their t-shirts. Total control of goal celebrations would be good as well as being able to celebrate with the fans and staff and if a player scores the winning goal in big match should be bundle by team mates and coaching staff.different stadiums as well. champions league should be official as well as other competitiions. In lower leagues players shouldn't look identical but should be the actually players.

Everyone has made some great points, i just hope EA do alot of it.

My points -

1. For me the untimate improvement would me a manager mode just as deep as Football Manager game, but obviously you play the games! This would make tactics, training, finances, scouting, transfers, manager interaction with press etc, pre and post match anaysis alot more interesting as well as adding in youth and reserve teams, international teams (to manage). How good would it be to be fair???

2. I also think that in ways the game is to easy. Not the gameplay, but the way in which you can make a poor team amazing quite easily. I mean, i manage Sunderland and I signed C Ronaldo, Rooney, Richards with no problem once i had the money. Would that ever happen?

3. Youth should develop propperly and more accurately.

4. I dont like how if i put my poor players up for sale (like overall stat of 60ish), teams like chelsea etc want to buy them. that wouldnt happen.

5. Linesman and 4th official included.

6. Better and worse decisions from referee. Some free kick decisions are a disgrace and happen too often! However, incorrect offsides, handballs etc would be great. Stir it up a bit.

7. Relationships between players, and managers.

8. Ohter clubs have managers (and real ones like Mourinho) who you can interact with.

9. More realistic AI in leages. Like nearly every season or new game i start someone like west ham wins the league and manchester united are 15th or something. Again, this wouldnt happen.

10. The top 4 in Premier league and all other Super clubs should be SUPER CLUBS and play amaxzing.

11. I'd like players to be more unique to themselves. Like Ronaldo to do more tricks when playing against him etc, Rooney to be bad tempered! You know what i mean.

14. Quick freekicks and better free kicks and corners. Should be moves which you unlock and can train with better coaches etc.

15. Dogout should be visable.

i think fifa 09 should have more internation teams from south america like : chile , colombia , boliva and ect. besides that i think everything in fifa is good.

I really like the way you made fifa 08. Here are some of my ideas for 09. i really like the way made up the be a pro, and i would really like it if you made a manager mode of it. where you have to train to be in the first squad. The manager can put you up for sale if your not good enough. You can be asked to play for your country if your really good. And if you get fired from a team you should be able to go to a lower team instead of having to restart the hole game. you have to start from a lower team and work your way up. please please please can you be able to make a stadium but you have to have loads of money to do it and you can make it any stage of maner mode not just at the beggining. be able to create a team. have just a bit more EXP. points when creating a player. be able to choose whether or not your players age. be able to make transfers from rival teams make it hard to do but not impossible. i think you have put a bit to much spin on the ball when you shoot from out the box. i can score some times but its not a far out as i thought it was. and when the games kicks off design it so the kepper is on his line becuase it annoyes me when you on xbox live and people score when play kicks of. use pictures of the players when you are looking at their skills instead of computer designs. have real sponsors.have more commentors. have them say things in time becuase you have a near miss and the ball is at the other end of the pitch once the commentors have noticed that you have had a near miss. they somtines have said "oh its a corner" when it hit the goalie and it lands at a player. be able to choose players pace when running instead of 3. ect. if you dont have you finger on the R Trigger he jogs. If you do have your finger on the R Triggers he sprints. if you have you finger have way on the R Trigger he sprints instead of meadium. when you have done a match sometimes a letter or something comes up. let a player decide wether he wants to leave the club or if his contract is coming to an end let him ask the manager for a new contract. ect. like ranoldo wants to leave manu but he is not up for sale he is asking to leave. something like. have more long term injuries. when in the transfer month be able to go through it day by day instead of match by match becuase match by match is sometimes not long enough. more stadiums. thankyou for your time reading this and hopefully you will try and put most of theese in the new football game i cant wait for it to come out and see who you have listenned to! LOL

i love playin fifa i buy it every year and i think its the best football game there is but i think for fifa to carry on being the best they need to start making it more realistic with whats been happening in the game!!
1) i think the linesmen and ref should be on the pitch and not jus show up randomly to book somebody
2) i think teams like holland and germany should have there real players and more otha countrys in the world
3) i think diving and shirt pulling need to be brought into fifa because it is happening in the real game soo should be able to on fifa
4) on fifa 98 i used to love playing in the indoor arena i think they should bring it back so you can do 6 or 7 aside in there
5) i think when you do tournament modes you should be able to do world cups and euros because i have to create them each time and it gets boring
6) you should be able to argue with officals and kick the ball away...
7) managers should be shown giving the players instructions and moving up and down the touchline
8) you should be able to choose which celebrations to do and should be able to jump into the crowds
9) there should be a stadium for every top team in every country.
10) there should be better weather conditions and the pitches should suffer due to these conditions (boggy and bobbles)
i believe if they added these to the game it would be there best ever selling game!!

i agree with what many others have said,
1. i think in manager mode you should be offered the positon of national team manger if you do well at your club
2. more stadiums, all premeir league clubs should have their own stadiums to play in
3. change the commentary (martin tyler and tommy smith)
4. you should be able to have the sponsor of your choosing on the jerseys of your team and be able to change it at the beginning of each season and customize it
5. make the crowd a little bit more realistic with banners and flags

For North America put Alberto Medina (Guadalajara) and Salvador Cabañas (America) with Ronaldinho in the middle. This will sell a lot because it will make a lot of people want to buy the game, not just Mexicans, but all Latinos since the mexican league is one of the most seen in the americas. AND PLEASE make the mexican & brazilian teams and players better, and the players becase you guys always make them sucky. Add the argentine league and more teams from south america to play the copa libertadores.

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ!!! Last year i took part in this ideas section and it seems my ideas were implemented into FIFA 08 which i would like to thank the team for. There were vast improvements. Here are a few points i feel are a definate to be included in the next installment:

1. A more interactive looking and feel to the crowd and atmoshpere. When your team start a counter attack, the crowd should be behind them cheering them on up the field. The chants are fine they were added last year but still the crowd seems dead. Even if a photographic image was attached to the stands that would seem better than animations. Flags and banners e.g FIFA 2003.

2. More interactive manager mode like a lot of the comments have been talking about e.g more power over the money, negotiations, youth systems and press coverage. Also when playing either cup matches or European matches in manager mode, they need to be kept to a kick off time schedule e.g Real Madrid vs. Lyon - night match, 7.30pm. Last MAJOR improvement needed, cup final matches in official stadium, not at home ground, please.

3. Tournament mode needs more additions, World Cup, Euro Champs, Qualifiying, Champions League and UEFA Cup.

4. The possibility of editing or downloading new kit patches.

5. Create own team start from the lower league and take them through the highs and lows to become create there own history.

6. Stadiums to match the team!!! I play as a lower division team only to find they are playing in an open top olympic style stadium. Plus more stadiums any way for big clubs like FC Porto, Real Madrid, Celtic.

Thankyou, i have faith in your team as they took in my comments last year and added them to the game. David Villa, Messi, Kaka or Fernando Torres on front, not Rooney its old.

you should have more real where your able to control the player when hes working out, singing autographs, takeing to the press basicly you are the soccer player you choose and play with him through the season.

Also (sorry for posting again) i currently have a PS3 and i cannot complain in the slightest about the graphics, so good job lads. But lets see something really cool done with the game which will destroy all other football games entirely.

Also, i think more tournaments in the game aswell, like the world cup would be great as there has never been a good world cup game release and i think that would just put your sales and ratings through the roof.

Hey hows it going guys. Since ive had a console i have bought every FIFA there was to buy, i think that it kicks the ass outta any other football game every single time, none has matched it thus far so kudos for that. Although it can be very annoying, i mean firstly the commentating is a joke and completely inaccurate. I think the Kit and Face editor is a good idea because sometimes when you see some of your favourite players and its not an accurate version of them on the game its very off putting. I think the ratings off each player isnt always as accurate as it could be either, id always like to see a referee on the pitch.

1. Longer Manager modes including the possibility for good managers to Join & lead National teams, picking out the team and playing friendlies, quals and World cup etc.

2. possibility for total control of the player, including buttons for jumping (before pressing the button for heading...) & takeing control of loose balls!

3. more realistic money income and expenses in manager mode (it's boring to control the worst team in a low league when you don't need to struggle for money and better players to join)

4. Career Mode for "single" player (aka Be a Pro), with working your way into the team, training, trying to get better contracts, making statements to press as you get better & trying to get on the good side of the team fans aswell as trying to advance to better teams (with better training facilities to advance faster). Also online leagues for teams playing "Be a Pro" SO IT'S EASIER TO GET IN TOUCH WITH SERIOUS PLAYERS!

5 More detailes in Manager mode with possibilities to change team jerseys, arena size (stands, parking, pitch size etc.). Perhaps you could choose between playing an advanced manager mode with more managing and stuff to do, or an easier manager mode more like the one in FIFA 08.

Hope the game gets alot of improvements from 08 & hope it's a good game :)

How come England get all the lower divisions but Scotland don't even get the division 1

bring back the Indoor games that was amazing in fifa 98 would be awesome to see that again now, EXETER!!!!!!!!!!!

you should be able to see the players go up onto the podium and see the players collect the cupand be able to actually see the cup when a team wins something

in fifa 09 i think u should make the players more realistic and make the commentating more accurate also i think they should make another tournament which can be called manager mode advanced but still keep the normal one. in the advanced one they should let people playing make their own stadium customize the dressing room and choose all the furniture and lights and stairs and anything else which could be used in the stadium. they should be able to choose the structure of the stadium and also the apperance of it. the last thing they should add is dat people can make their own kit including using diferent emblems for the badge and the shirt and also they can choose the writing which can go on their also editing the font size and placement of it.

fifa would be better if more players looked diffrent like in fifia 07 de la rossi looks the same as in fifa08

I would like there to be champions league on Fifa 09.You should be able to change your kit like say you would like have a new design.More stadiums.have transfers and budgets. stuff like that.
see people in the crowd who are wearing funny stuff just like a proper match on the tv.

I dont ask for much, but, i have read all the other comments what have been submitted and they all seem to be really good ideas which will make the game and gameplay a 100 times better. I have also played ever fifa since 2002 and they've just gotten better and better every time, so if you just take every suggestion into account and try to included them i think the game will be amazing and brilliant to play, due to its the little things and attention to detail what makes a game great, realistic and a joy to play.

It woul be good if as well as the normal career mode, if you incorporated a new player league, where the user can pick one player from a team (or a created player), a use him through out the season. It should end up being like you area player and you would do what a player does every day. This would include playing matches, training and even sponsorship deals. Also I think it would be quality if you had (in the same "player career") end of season awards, like player of the season and young player of the season and you should be able to see the event, like on TV.
Also fifa 09 should have the actual names of the trophies e.g. League Cup should be Carling Cup, and English Cup should be FA Cup

15.ON THE SCOREBOARDS, HAVE THE SKY SPORTS OR SETANTA SPORTS SIGNS.
16.BETTER STORYLINES IN MANAGER MODE.
17.BETTER DETAILED STRIPS, E.G, THE FOOTBALL LEAGUE LETTERING ON BACK OF STRIPS.
18.MAKE THE FANS MORE REALISTIC AND SHOW THIER REACTIONS.
19.IN THE PREMIER LEAGUE SHOW THE PLAYERS SHACKING HANDS AND HAVE THAT TUNE THAT THEY PLAY ASWELL. THAT WOULD BE AMAZING.
20, AND FINALLY, HAVE THE ODD STREEKERRR :)
THIS WOULD BE THE BEST GAME EVER, IF THESE IDEAS WHERE PUT IN THE GAME, CANT WAIT UNTIL FIFA 09 :)

i think u should put the blue square premier (conference)on the game so it makes it even harder in career mode

If you do well as a club manager on manager mode you should be offered to manage an international team.
Also better commentry and more accurate commentry- e.g if a player shoots and the keeper gets a touch on the ball but it still goes in the commentator will start going on about how great the save was(when really its gone in)

i think it would be col in manager mode when you win some slverware and build up your reputation as a manager you can get offers from international teams. it would be good to manage international teams, i can't say i have seen this feature in a football game before.

right my comment about fifa 08/09 is that in the playstation 2 version of fifa 2008 they had quick freekicks, send goalie up if you are losing, handballs etc. so why did they take them all out of the ps3 version and can they be put back into the fifa 2009?
