you should be able to do more tricks, and the ratings of players should be more realistic. The Keepers should be able to perform more saves on their own. You should be able to upgrade youth academies on manager mode, and the transfers should be better so you can swap players and choose how long you want players on loan. The important players should look more like themselves and when the players are not injured they shouldn't have bandages on their head. They shouldn't have graphic problems.

number one most important thing is the crowd. needs to be more realistic/intense

+no more keeper glitches aka when u shoot it rite at them sometimes and they dont touch the ball
+improved free kicks
+improved celebrations
+improved referees = sometimes they make really s***ty calls
+more boots and more international teams and jerseys for the Dutch, thats bulls***
+create a team would be great so would create a stadium create a manager u should be able to see ur managers reactions during a game
+if teams come out with new kits , like this year, you should be able to download the new ones instead of playing with the old s***ty ones
+when u win the league or the cup there should be longer celebrations or a cutscene

I can only think of 1 way to improve a great game

If in manager mode the sponsors name should be replaced by the sponsor that you sign for in the game

in fifa 09 you should bring in the irish league which glentoran and linfield play in
aslo you should have in the transfer market have swaps for paleys and different length of time for loans not just 1 year every time you loan someone

hello EA, i hope you read this and maybe even answer, i have had all the fifa games since fifa 1998, each year they have got better, in 2004 you introduced all 4 English leagues which was good, yet you have only got one Scottish league and no Russian league.

The main improvements i would like to see, is a reserve and youth team, just like the football manager games, you manage the first team and the computer manages the reserves and youths and you can call them up for first team when you wish, you should also be able to put players in the first team down to the reserves if they are not performing. As a person said in a comment above, there should be personalities to the players, whether they argue with the ref, dive, or are aggressive, etc. You should be able to see how the World Cup, Asian, Euro, African and American cups go during the season breaks.

The fans should be more into the game aswell, like if you score an important goal in a derby, or one in the final minute of a certain cup they should go crazy and be twice as loud as normal, players should hav celebrations like real life where they go to the crowd.

The ref and linesmen and 4th officials should be on the pitch as this would make it far more realistic.

On fifa 07 it was very easy to score screamers but on this one you can't at all!!!! The shooting was far too easy but on this one you can rarely score from outside of the box, this should change, you should be able to score long range shots but not all the time. The Gameplay should be made better.

I know that you won't do all of this as you don't want to make the perfect game as each year you have to be able to improve, if you make it as realistic as real gets then there would be no point in making new games as people would get bored buti think adding a reserve and youth team to the game would be a big boost.

How about being able to dive, getting away with it and getting booked for it if it's too obvious.
Some shirt pulling when running or defending, shoulder charging and holding players off etc. All these physical attributes are part of football but are not seen on games much.

i think for the english one we have rooney ,samir nasri and marouane chamack

Get more leagues like the ukrainian, russian, argentine, and japense and don't add any more crappy leagues that no one wants just those and maybe a few ohter major ones

Make keepers more realistic...
in be a pro mode u should be able to do press conferences and stuff and say things like ronaldo does that its your dream to play for madrid or whoever and like a budget to live on and make yourself like a dynasty like wages, buying a house and car and things...
more leagues,stadiums and more real life managers and fans..
most of all i want to be able to start at schoolboy in Northern Ireland or England and become the next big thing coming through the ranks...

you should be able to save videos of the amazing goals you score and be able to upload them online

more detailed commentary. it would be good if commentators talked about individual players e.g. goal scoring records, past clubs etc. it would also be good if cut scenes were removed in situations like throw-ins and substitutions.

get to have player of years and u get to vote 3 players u would like to vote as a manger but not ur own players. create a manager like create a player so when ur managing a team u can see the managers expressions. refs linos 4th officials need to be shown. more cut scenes for eg bad tackles players shoutin at the ref or start a fight. more interatction with croud showing close ups of their faces when theyre teams are losing or winning. when ur taking a corner kick and ur away u have the controller vibrate to get the sense of tension. just more realistic. make be a pro a whole player career where u get to do adverts customise ur own shoes having ur name on them or ur countries flag

and also when you create a team when you take a player off his current team it would be good if that player could go on his own team and created team

when playing champions league you should make some clip before and after the matches to see how big the tournement is and how happy the player being as they win an important match. and if they win the whole champions league ( call it uefa champions league and not ecc ) then we see a five minute long clip where they are celebrating and lifting the trophy, same in the league.

I believe a good improvement to manager mode would be limiting the quality of teams that want you as a manager. I think u should not be able to go to a world class team right off the bat. If the teams interested got better as your coaching rep did it would make manager mode a lot funner

You should ensure you have extensive data editing as Konami do with Pro Evo, to allow us to edit and add players names, kits, badges, and team logos. You shouls also resolve the following:

1) Add a lot more National teams from South America, Asia, and Africa. If you cannot get the licences, ensure enough data editing tools for us to create the team's logo, kits, and ability to add players.
2) Do the same with Eastern European teams like Shaktar Donetsk, Dynamo Kiev, Zenit St Petersburg, CSKA Moscow, Spartak Moscow, etc...
3) Add more foreign club teams from South America.
4) Get rid of pointless leagues like Polish, Danish, Irish, etc...
5) Record names of players that you do not have licence for (i.e. Netherlands) and allow us to add them to correct players in the editing options.
6) Add more sound affects to foreign teams. Crowds sound a lot more hostile in certain countries.
7) Add the option to play a home and away tie from start menu. This would allow you to play someone over two legs and see who comes out on top. In order for this to be successful, you need to give the home team an advantage i.e. To ensure the home teams players are always on top form, or to improve the home teams stats by 20%. This ensures that the home team has a sufficient advantage, as in real life.
8) The ability for keepers to be sent off.
9) More weather options like snow, heavy rain, and humidity (teams not used to extreme heat conditions should be at a disadvantage i.e. English, Russian, Norwegian, etc...)
10) Add legendary players and teams like they do on Pro Evo, but more expansive i.e. Classic Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, England, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, France, USSR, Hungary, Portugal, Mexico, Yugoslavia, Spain, Columbia, Nigeria, and Cameroon. If you cannot get licence for names and badges, once again expand etiting options, i.e. sufficient space to upload images from a pc, to allow us to do this ourselves. Make sure there is enough space to write real players names in, unlike in UEFA Euro 2008.
11) Add special skill abilities to players i.e. Kerlon's seal dribble, Rene Higuita's scorpion kick, Romario's toe-punt finishing, etc...

I think the majority of other people would agree with these options.

its going to be great. but to make it even better they should put the iranian national team and leuges in. Woo go fifa.

the offside rule shouldnt be as accurate eg if ur a mm offside theyll call it witch wouldnt actually happen in a real match, real sponsors making it more realistic and maybe differant commentators instead of the same 1s after and after each other

have every premiership stadium and have better gameplay, also you should be able to create your own team on the ps3 version and have more competitions such as champions league, uefa cup ect. also have more national teams even if they are rubbish

Helloo btw i am an absolute fanatic about fifa, it rocks!

1. new stadiums, Most premiership clubs play at le stad de arts and that decreases the real feeling of the game

2. better commentators. to inaccurate decreasing real feeling again

3. Be able to create videos and save replays on the console.

4. maybe at the manager/ season homepage have reviews of other teams performances and highlights of there goals. This would allows the player to watch out for in form strikers enabling them to change formations to cope with the players.

5. be able to do full team training session at a training ground. Being able to pick what exercises and activities a team do would make a team more unique to a player.

6. at the arena , players should be able to choose an actual stadium.

pro evolution is absolutely not in your league

the thing that is really annoying me is the ammount of cheating that goes on online. for example low crosses every defender for some reason finds impossible to read and cant intercept allowing an easy finish. also from penalties if one sidesteps instead of dives the keeper will save regardless of power or hieght.

you should include more club leagues (like the Russian one) international teams (like Ghana), and always use the players real names and the real kits of the squads

it would also be nice if there were more stadiums and cut scenes showing, the manager, fans and champoionship celebrations

Sorry, my previous comment is a bit rude I guess. But you must understand i've been bitterly dissapointed with fifa series since 2006. Maybe even before that and then i'm not even talking about the graphics. Fifa 2008 i.e. was slow and static....

The fact that EA gives us playstation 2 (it's 2008 you know?) graphics is simply out of this world. How can you expect us to buy that for 60 euro's? I know for sure you are ashamed of yourself if you are a selfrespecting games developer....

there needs to be a Russian league which i believe is more important that the Australian league which was included previously. In manager mode there should also be no limits on transfer bids and money should be won through winning competitions not just obtained through sponsor payments. Player exchanges should also be allowed to take place. A manager should also be able to manage an international team aswel as a club team. A reserve team would also be a vast improvement and possibly even a youth team aswel.

i think that fifa 09 should have better free kicks and corners
and the players pace should stand out over other player like garry neville can catch up with ronaldo

please give carlos tevez more pace and correct boots for players. keep dynamic camara and dont change game play too much, fifa 08 is perfect so dont mess up.

I think the lower scottish leagues should be included because it gets boring doing every season with the same teams in the league rather than there being promotions and relegations.
another idea is more of the actual stadiums should be included, e.g Ibrox or celtic park. Also the scottish league cup should be included so that you can actually win the treble :)
For career mode: you should be able to change your teams sponsor throughout the season
The transfer window should be more real time rather than one opportunity a week

Plz include these ideas. they would , make the game much more fun for me!
