the game should feature either fernando torres david villa or adebayor, or maybe even a keeper like cassillas for a change. it would be good if there was a game mode for five aside where you could pick your best players and have a 5-aside tournament. more classics would be good aswell, for instance the classic england team of 66 or classic man u with bobby charlton and george best in the team. the online play would be better if there were more achievements online and if you could use your career team to play online cause you could use it in kick off on 07 or 06 cant rememba which 1 for ps2, so why not online. i am currently sydney fc so would like to use them online however i cant due to the fact that they are well basically rubbish and would get beat by some noob hu always uses barcelona or man u so would stand a chance and would be better if i could use my evenly matched career team as i have tevez and that and trained up the team to a 5 star. please consider these options, thanks. !
get proper brands like adidas , puma, nike etc
also able to edit players looks
players personal styles
able to design team kits after a season
scottish lower divisions
hampden
visible linesman and referees
at least 1 player from every team to look realistic
and an internatonal mode
otherwise keep up the good work
Different commentators every game. And alot more variety in what the commentators say.
To be able to see the manager in the duggout and they should look exactly the same as they do on tv.There should be blunders and fights and riots.
New Music And Better Chants At Matches, Not Just From The Home Team.
Players Actually Get Injury More And Harder To Buy Players Because It Is Too Easy.
Visible Linesman And Referees.
Thank You, I Hope These Suggestions From Thousands Of Us Fifa Fans Get Taken Into Account
Why make it only a four year carear, What football player has ever became the best in the world starting from scratch, In four years. Why not make it a 15 year carear just like manager mode. Like most fifa's they leave out important things like realisticness!!!!
Or make a designers life like design stadiums for a team kits training grounds go around the world and design places and even play with teams that would be goood.
well its up to ea to decide but i hope i get mine in. A player life would be good
-build your own stadiums
-players are MUCH MORE UNIQUE in terms of skill
-different stadiums for different countries (british style, spanish/portuguese/italian style)
-custom team kits
-supporter chants for different clubs e.g. Celtic and liverpool from fifa 08
-Make goal keepers more realistic. (every keeper in fifa 08 was insanely amazing).
- Get Licensing for Managers. It would add a bit more if you could see the managers barking orders from the dugout.
- More Stadiums.
- Better Commentary. Id like to see comments made more televison-like
- Easier Free-kick and Corner system than 08
- Release it a few weeks later so the full transfers will be up to date.
- Better youth system.
- In manager mode the players get tired far too quickly and it takes them weeks to recover. Also in real life teams do train about three times a week and they are fine for match day so how come their fatigue is in yellow if you do this?
2) more premier league stadiums
3) foreign commentators when playing abroad
4) get rid off john motson!
5)delibarate fouling
6) deliberate diving
7) get players skin colours right
8) realistic transfers
9) more crowd songs
10)linesmans...referees and managers in game
11) players warming up on sidelines
12)players getting booed for bad performances
13) booed for bad perfomances
14) fights in the corwd
15) transfer specualtion un settles players
16) commentators do my head in
17) referees says 'nothing doing'
18)
a new stat called situaltional temperment should be included....basically an extension to aggression, a player commits a foul and depending on his temperment, when it cuts to the video he over-reacts or lashes out at the other player or ref, in turn earning him a yellow if he wasn't going to be carded or a second yellow/straight red. Perfect example of this would be a striker fouling jens lehman....lehman's known to over-react.
Substitutions, once upon a time fifa showed a double sub, with both players coming off and both players coming on, fifa should get back to that...its really unrealistic to make a triple sub and you only see one player. Also player interactions on the sub. Furthermore if both teams are making a sub both sets of players should be shown, not just one team.
The idea of including boots in the fanshop so when you are editing or creating a player you can give them brand name boots, i also like the idea of making different colours of the same boot available. A lot of the time throughout a season players will change their boots a few times, if you have one colour for home and one colour for away it makes it seem more realistic.
Player Faces....i still find it unacceptable that there are numerous players in the game with proper faces but these players are lesser known players who play for not so major clubs. Yet players like eboue & sagna (arsenal), richards (man city), alex (chelsea) who play at big clubs still don't have actual player faces.
Also, depending on the individual to buy the game, we may feel you have over-rated or underated a lot of players....and the maximum allowed edited players is currently 50 or something.....with a game that has thousands of players i think this number is too low. A lot of players get transferred but are previously unknown to developers and thus under rated, as such the realism of the leagues is lost cause only the good teams have good players. The number of players one can edit should at least be 5% of the players in the game database. If theirs 5000 players, we should be able to edit 250 players. Or at least increase the 50 to 150 if you don't want to work on percentages.
International Teams, African teams like Ghana and Ivory Coast who are at present the best teams from Africa and had really good showings at the world cup are still not in the game...this is unacceptable. Also please get the license for Holland.
I like the idea of including old kits in the fan shop....this is much more appealing then the 100 different coloured balls we get offered...we like to see old kits.
A kit editor would also be nice but i don't see that happening as you need licensing to get the kits and you're not gonna let us change them at a whim.
visible ref a must.
fans in their own colours....more fans in home colour at home games...
in regards to youth players...a lot of the major clubs like man utd chelsea arsenal liverpool have 3 or 4 young players who will soon be playing first team football...players like sahar and sinclair who are being loaned to other premiership clubs for the upcoming season...at least 3 promising youth team players should be included in the game for each top side...that way when you playing manager mode, a few seasons on you'll have the players who will actually make the step up to first team football in real life.
the odd offside goal should be allowe to stand....thats the nature of the game...so perhaps linesman should be included in the game, and based on their positioning when the offside occurs they make the correct or incorrect decision.
more lee-way with the editing of players....developers don't always get it right....some players who are white should be black and vice versa....this is easy enough to correct on players who don't have the real faces, and players with the real faces obviously won't be the wrong race. Also, players who were bulky like ashley young (aston villa) in 08 who are skinng in real life....we should be able to change a player from skinny to normal or bulky and vice versa.
Starts of all games should be like the international games minus the anthems. In real life the players line-up and then shake hands with the opposition....this should be shown.
Also, the sun should become a factor, so instead of having the home playing left to right in the first half as a standard, their should be a coin toss like in real life. So players can pick to put their goalkeeper in the less sunny side for a half, and the keeper who faces the sun should have his attributes decreased by a value of say 3 due to the interfering sun.
2) Different commentators for each type of game e.g martin tyler for the league and clive tyldsley for champs league
3) Kit editor
4) More Injuries
5) Visible managers
6) TV style highlights of each game at the end of the matchday (Saturday night MOTD style)
also when scouting you should be able to look through under21 teams and reserves and also more stats should be available to see such as amount of goals scored, or assists for the previous few seasons, if not that, just an easily understandable rating scale from 1-20 on each part of play i.e. passing, tackling etc.
Also manager mode is way to easy. It shouldn't be possible to buy a free agent and then sell him for an astronomical sum a short time later!
Also why do other teams not make any transfers they just seam to loose all their players and fade away.
Finnally, in online play, if the other team quits (while their behind only) I think the game should be treated as if it had gone the whole 90.
another of my ideas was a indoor ground for the arena part of the game :) changing it to indoor will be much more fun.
The need for kits to be updated during a manager mode would also brighten things up, even if you were to have to do it manually, also why not do transfers right up until the end of the transfer period until waiting until just before the end of the transfer period, often meaning some key signings are not made on the actual game when you get it.
Better commentary, faster gameplay and in game referees would all make for improved game play, also the (re?)introduction of diving in the game just to add a slightly different element into the game. The inclusion of random but relevant events in the game could als make it more interesting, for example, takeovers, players handing in transfer requests, even tapping up maybe?
The improvement of the trick stick would make for more interesting gameplay allowing for better looking attacking moves, also the chance for one off wonder/lucky goals could also be an exciting element, possibly with an unknown player scoring a last minute lucky strike to knock out a major team adding an extra element of excitement?
More relevance to clubs such as fan chants, stadiums, player bias, etc.
More leagues included would also be the usual change, ie with the emergance of Russia as a future footballing super power, as well as the inclusion of alot more international teams, as the vast majority of the international choice is limited to European clubs, with continents like Africa almost completely over looked.
Also in manager mode get given a transfer budget each season relevant to how well the team has performed instead of just having to survive off player saves and the miniscule amount of money made throughout the season.
GET HOLLAND!
More stadiums are needed, how can you have a game without the bernabau!?
It would also be a nice touch to play little 1 on 1 matches in the loading screen, or have an option where you can play 5-a-side or futsal.
Something which is a definite MUST for improvement is the amount and quality of the updates that are available online. I would like to see updates every month, which also include injured players for the online mode to make it more realistic when playing a match.
GET RID OF giving a free kick away when you tackle a player well but the referee gives a foul, it is so unbelievably irritating when you make a good hard tackle in the box but they get given a penalty because the player is injured!
Better reaction from the keeper when pressing keeper charge. the GKs seem to lack realistic common sense.
Captain your club 4 players play to captain the club through multiple seasons where you can also buy and sell players while your captain.
In FIFA09 could we have a 'uniform editor' in manager mode please, that is a similar option to the one on the franchise mode in madden 05. This option allows you to change not only your teams kit, but other kits in the league. It would be less boring if there was an option to change the style, make and sponsor of yor kit.
Also one thing I like on the madden games in franchise mode is the option to listen to talk radio programmes to see what the fans think of your team and to see local and national newspaper headlines after each game. This would be a great addition to FIFA09. Maybe even including a post-match highlights show that enables you to see all the day's action.
And one more thing that is more of a gripe; On FIFA 08 on the ps3, there are very few camera angles to choose from! Would it be possible to incude more camera angles for FIFA 09, including a broadcast cam that is the same as a broadcast view on TV. Could you also bring the broadcast view back that is on the ps2 version of FIFA 08 please. It would also be good if you could inroduce a custom camera angle that enables you to change the height, zoom and pan of the camera.
Many thanks!
