u should have the whole coaching staff on sidelines during a game, and head coachdirecting the team. With the substitues watching the game , then when its time for them to plays thry should start to warm up.

during a game of any kind, the fans in the stadium should be wearing their team colors and jersey. it dosent matter if they are home or away.

i think u guys should be more realistic on the jerseys , like the numbers make them look like the actaull numbers the players were on the jersey in real life . not just draw a number that dosent look like anyhing the team wears. also before a game you should show the players warm up with the trainers prior to the game with the warm up jersys. And i think you should stop making challenges in order for us to unlock jerseys and boots ,its a waste of time . . Also for the 2009 game u should make world cup qualifying since the teams qualifying to the 2010 world cup will be determined in 2009. I would like for you guys to have every country in the world , with the official players and jerseys just like you do in the world cup games. Something that i think would improve is when a captain on team has the captains armband , the armband should be tight on the arm like you see in the pros , and not like you have bin having them for the past couple of years. It bothers me that once again holland doesent have their official players and jerseys, espiacially that they are one of the best in te world! come on now. make this years game great ,becuase you guys have to improve alot or you will lose alot of money in the next coming years. Make the game realistic watch actuall matches and see how its played that should give you ideas. One more thing during a set pice , corner kick or throw in have the players take their time . Like when i get a corner kick a second later my player is already ready to take the corner. thats very unrealistic , make the players take their time on everything. I can stop thinking about ideas, that should tell you alot for example when the 2nd have is about to start show the players come out of the tunnels as you see in the actuall game. PLEASE WHATS POSSIBLE TO MAKE THIS GAME GREAT MAKE THE PLAYERS LOOK VERY REALISTIC EVEN IF THERE NOT AS FAMOUS AS KAKA, SO PLEASE DO EVERYTHING.

1. I would love if EA adds on the Create A Stadium option since too many of us have already asked about this feature to be added for years in a row. And based on the many comments which I'm already seeing on the site, all I can say is that people wont ever stop asking about it.

2. I've been following the Romanian Liga I for the past 3 years, and all I can say is WOW, this past season was explosive, and the following will even be more captivating. The transfers which are going on are crazy and it seems now that not only the Bucharest teams are aiming for the title, but all the rest of the teams throughout the country. The rivalries are just mad crazy, and it would be a shame not to add this league onto the new game. I wouldn't be surprised if Rapid wins the UEFA in the next 2 years. The teams is twice as strong as they were back in their 05/06 UEFA season. The same goes for the Russian league, I mean they've come a long way, Zenit winning the UEFA and CSKA 2 years ago. Strong league and champoionship, definately needs a spot in the 09 edition as well.

3. Make the create a player mode more realistic, it seems as if every create a player has the same facial looks.

4. The crowds need a definite improvement, they could look way better with a few tweaks.

5. Do switch the sponsor on the jersey whenever you pick out a new one at the beginning of each season.

6. Whenever you create a team's jersey have the ability to choose from more diverse styles of shirts and so on, the overall option would be if you could modify yourself the stripes, shirt maufacturer, logos and such. Same goes for pants and socks.

7. Taking free kicks should be easier. You guys did an amazing job on the 03 and 04 version, with the targeting and shot marker. It wasn't easy but it also wasn't hard either. I used to play with my buddies and many games were decided by the kicks. I can't say that I never missed, but whenever someone scored it was a crazy good time. Now nobody scores which takes the fun out of the entire match since you take your time to place the perfect shot in which you think you may score but don't. Bring back the 03/04 version of the free kick, or improve on it for the 09 version!!!!!

8. After each match, have the press involved more, it will only make the game more interesting based off the replies, and for every player which has an outstanding season, offer bonuses. Also, going back to the press, there should be speculations about players leaving, and players arguing with the manager about leaving or remaining.

9. The Champion's League and UEFA Cup should be included as well as the Intertoto Cup.

10. More real stadiums please, include the:
1. Stade De France
2. Phillips Stadium
3. Stadion Feyenoord
de Kuip
4. Riazor (Dep La Coruna)
5. Stadio San Nicola (a masterpiece work of architecture)

World Cup, Champions league, copa libertadores, superliga, custom celebration, Mexican lower division, classic teams, fights, fake dives

Anyone notice in Fifa 08 when you scored goals the only ones who celebrated with you where defenders-GET IT SORTED. Also you should keep the celebrations the same in the Euro game, that was a fun feacture. Like Vidic, have defenders come up for corners. Don't stick all the smaller teams without their stadiums IN THE SAME STADIUM, you should have a few different stadiums which all the smaller teams can play in. They really need to add the russian and greek league. Also have cups to win with all the international teams eg the Euro and the World Cup. And c'mon we need the REAL dutch team for once, their my favorite international side and i can't play with that because it wines me up that their kits and names are all wrong. Have the finals of cups in their proper stadium, not the one of the home team, eg Carling and the FA cup at wembly. More advertisements around the stadiums would be nice to, or like at old trafford they change eletrically. Please don't have unrealistic teams winning leagues and coming second, There have been plenty of times when i have won the leage and frigging Derby County came second. In manager mode you should be able to make a manger or be able to be the proper of that club and no unrealistic transfers like C.Ronaldo getting an offer from Rangers or something. Also teams should make offers for your clubs best players. Like real madrid trying to get ever piece of talent Man Utd ever produced. Also i think there should be an option instead of subing people straight on you can have them warm up, and if u don't they don't play as well and are more prone to injuries. Bye :]

you should be able to edit earings and studs on the players. when you are doing manager mode. the player can use his salaries to buy jewellry.

make the players from the top teams, barcelona, liverpool, man u, arsenal etc. look realistic. and all the other teams realistic but not as much as the top teams. if you can make all the players in the premier league spanish. french. italy german leagues look realistic.

and make the kits look more real

please make the numbers at the back of the shirts much bigger. dont make it small.

I think everyones ideas are amazing and would be GREAT! If you make most of this happen it would be the greatest game ever...and if you don't.... PES will take over.

I would absolutely love to see a mini pre-game show to have a more realistic feeling, Also would like fifa 09 to have a career mode where you design and create your own player and get signed onto a team interested in you and go on with your career. More features and more realistic additions to the game would perfect for fifa 09

We need the russian league in the game because ther is so many gud player that we cant buy because they are in the russian league i.e Arshavin, Pavlyachenko, Jo, Vagner Love etc.

I think that although i despise diving in real life, it would be a good addition to the game, to make it more realistic. Perhaps a "Clean" and "Dirty" setup would help. For dirty teams there could be a diving function (Perhaps automatic with Italy) and a visible ref on the screen so if the ref is close to u when u dive you get a card

Improve the AI of the gameplay a hell of a lot more, so there are less easy interceptions. They are so annoying
Also, better off the ball movement

one more thing . when the goal keeper keeps the ball more than 6 seconds there should be a foul not an automatic play of the ball + when the goalie of the winnig team tries to waste time he should be booked + there should be diving in the penalty are + more realistic penalty shootouts . managers should appear in the game standing giving instructions down the screen not as separate scene wlaso when ready to substitute the subs should stand and run inorder to get ready to substitution

hi all .first of all. the referees and lines menmust have artificial inrelligent as in PES 2008 .also the graphics is horrible gameplay is sooooo bad current generation. when will the company make the pc version next generation as ps3 and xbox 360 version there must be real named and more number of referees & stadium . the grass and stadium graphics is so bad as it made from plastic

i hope i can fine one day an ea store in egypt and also find the pc version better than ps3 version

i am repeating what has already been said because i think there have been some really good suggestions.

like ball-boy scenes so that gameplay never has to stop. every now and then when the ball goes out, a ball boy will just toss a new ball on without having to always cut and slow down momentum. this doesnt always have to happen though.

better officiating system, hopefully with visible refs.

create a club is always nice, but more customizable

more classic sides, with some legends from each era. obviously you cant have 90's legends like zidane playing with best and law.

better player improvement systems in manager modes

better trophy scenes for major cups, and have actual cups rendered. actually lifting the premiership cup would be incredible

live crowds, and crowd reactions to missed shots and goals

more distinct and unique player styles. you should be able to tell that ronaldo plays with flair while ballack is just a tank.

at the end of the season, maybe a short 3 goal compilation of the best goals from the player's team

better off the ball/through ball system. something where holding a trigger or bumper would release specific players that you want. and definately more off the ball movement if your team has good chemistry and organization. i find it so hard and frustrating that i want players to read my mind, but the controls get in the way of my players actually operating how i want.

i also think 09 should have indoor stadium, the only fifa that had this was 98 and i think everyone thought it was a blast. indoor soccer has rised dramatically and i think it would be a great idea to live the experince on fifa 09.

also in manager mode i think there should be practise sessions before the game, wheather you wanted to auto sim the practise or actually practise some drills with the team.

PLEAS PLEASE PLEASE make AI realistic! playing online in 08 seems to be more fun then playing single player. Why? because it's more realistic. AI seems to play really poorly in Amateur and Semi Pro, come Professional, World Class and Legendary they are untouchable in everything they do....and they seem to score willy nilly from dodgy crosses to dodgy offsides, to dodgy rebounding off keepers and posts. You can make the game hard and challenging with out making AI unrealistic and GOD like. So the single player game play needs lots of work. Apart from that real frustrating hate, the rest of the game is PURE AWESOMENESS!

P.S. Make BE A PRO offline as well. Plus multi-player. In other-words do more with the great idea.

The main area i think could be improved is the manager mode setup. Transfers need to be more 'hands-on' consisting of back and forth between the player and his agent. Also i think you should be able to run training sessions and make stadium upgrades which includes your own designs. Opportunity to take on a national side as manager. Also i think it would be really cool to be able to found your own club. This would mean making a badge/emblem, jersey/kit design and colours, start with a really dodgy stadium and build it up as u improve, attract sponsors and funds. Mainly id like to see alot of what is on Football Manager (PC) added to the xbox 360.

I also rekkon itd be cool to be able to run an 'agent-mode' of sorts. Using the be-a-pro platform you could create your own player (or choose one of course) and accept offers from clubs, perform well, transfer out reach the top of your game and make it to your favrouite team.

And of course its the little things that matter eg....
1) referees on pitch
2) crowd reactions (eg a player gets sent shots of the crowd going off and booing would be funny haha)
3) manager shots (barking orders would add to the feel of course)
4) harsher consequences from fouls. whilst its good for me, slidetackling somone straight from behind is at least worthy of a yellow and i get nothing for it lol.

All in all just little details and minor improvements and features that would make the game more lifelike and attractable. BUT MAINLY MANAGER MODE IMPROVEMENTS!

Also i would like to see less than a minimum of 4 real minutes per half as this makes a season last ages. 2 minute halves would be perfect as you could have quicker games if you need to go somewhere or something

-Bring back INDOOR 5 A SIDE ARENA from old FIFA's because it was amazing :)
-Be able to dive
-Be able to see officials and players warming up on the sideline
-Be more realistic with wage structure etc i bought frank ribery and ledley king for mansfield in league 2 and payed them 50,000 a week +
