More cut scenes in the match like players having fights and so on..
If a player get seriously injured maybe have them stretched of and like help of the pitch.
When a team wins a cup have a longer cut scene after the match.. e.g them holding up the trophie with the manager and so on.
More interaction with the crowd.. celebrations, cut scenes ect.
Be able to dive and pull shirts
Have ref and linesman on the pitch
On manager mode have after match interview cut scene and have a multiple choice answer option.
On manager mode select your natonality and be able to manage you country when the have matches!
Be able to create your own stadium.

(1) In manager mode, the computer sometimes (actually, very often) schedules two matches on the same day, usually one of them a cup tie and the other a league match. In the real world, any manager who pulls out sh*t like that would be out of a job in no time. Teams wind up playing the second match of the day dog tired and you need to start your second squad. You guys never ever address this issue. It is unbelievable.
(2) How long is the stoppage? It seems that even when the setting is set so that each half is played in 6 minutes in the real time, the stoppage itself lasts about 3 minutes. It's almost like when the indicator says "added time: 3 mins" it means quite literally, that it would take 3 minutes in the real time to play out the stoppage. As a result, up to four goals can be scored by either team during the stoppage. Come on.
(3) The game is rigged. When you are winning 7 matches in a row, there's this one match where no matter how many times you play it, no matter how many different things you try, you end up losing. Sometimes you are winning 1-0 when the time runs out and then the final whistle just won't blow until you concede two goals. Sometimes it's like no matter how well you tackle, the ball simply won't leave the computer player's feet; it goes right back like a magnet. Sometimes, when you tackle and finally get the ball off of the computer player, another computer player is right behind (and I mean, literally on the path of the loose ball) to retrieve the ball perfectly on strides, makes a run, and scores a damn goal. Sometimes your players' reaction time gets slower, and they will move or shoot or pass a tad slower than in other games, which of course makes a big difference.
You don't rig games to make it difficult. You make it challenging by coming up with more efficient way for the computer team to move, by improving the AI. Not rigging it so that the ball always bounces in favor of the computer.
(4) You play the Hibernian in the SPL. The board expects you to qualify for EFA. You do one better and qualify for ECC by winning the damn league undefeated. And what happens? That's right, you don't receive the manager points because, well, you didn't qualify for EFA, you qualified for ECC. The same with the sponsors; they tell you that they'd pay you half a million pounds if you qualify for EFA. They pay you zilch for making it to ECC. If you want the money or the reputation, you need to drop games from February on in order to make sure you don't qualify for ECC. Stupid as hell.

Too many times when I am in the midfield does play get stopped from the slightest of all nudges. Then when your in the box and the same thing happens there is no penalty. There are way too many soft free kicks.
1) I understand that you cant simply take Sponsors of shirts, for example AIG cant be taken from MAN UTD, but for example in manager mode have the sponsor you have selected be put on the sleeve or lower back etc, makes it look authentic.
2) Referee's and Linesman's would help the overall feel and make it look more authentic.
3) Create-A-Player, Team, Stadium? Make it more customizable it seems to have taken a backward step, why cant we customize it to an extent that is in Tiger Woods 08? That would be awesome and could include when playing the wet the player wears long sleeves and gloves.
4) Have a Superstar mode like in Madden where you take your player from a local side to Europe's top sides and be able to participate in UCL and EURO 2008? Thats is what is missing.

1) Show the managers reactions on the sideline. I know that it would take alot of work to make every manager in the game, but it simply would be amazing. If you put that in the game, it would be even more realistic than you can ever dream of! Then, in the manager-mode you should be able to make youre own manager! Like when you create youre own player! But only if you dont choose to be the selected teams current manager, of course.
2) Crowd is nice, but more banners and of course flags would be a very nice touch.
3) In-game-judges!
4) When you score, make the camera-angle a bit more realistic. Just make it a bit more like in-game-celebrations. That would be cool.

But anyways, I've heard something about the producer on FIFA09 should be a former producer of some kind og manager-game. If its true, i personaly find it very exiting! Especially because the manager-mode probaly is gonna be a hell of alot better! And besides be-a-pro, manager-mode is the only thing i really play.
But my personal wishes for FIFA09 is actually very limited. I think at least.
1) Where the hell is Estadio Santiago Bernabéu in FIFA08??? Come on, a 5-star stadium is being left out instead of Vicente Calderon, St. James Park and whatever all those, compared to the Bernabéu, crappy stadiums! Give me a break. I love the be-a-pro-feature, but alot of the experience for me, is just being thrown out the window when i cant play on, my favourite team, Real Madrids homeground. So that simply has to be in 09, cus if its not, i may consider a switch to PES:(.
2) Not surprisingly: an expansion for the be-a-pro-mode. I got FIFA08 on my PS3 and to be honest, I mostly play be-a-pro. yes, even more than manger-mode! I just would have wished that they had expanded it to at least a season in sted of one single match. Especially because it works so amazingly good. Im not sure, but in Madden you could create youre own player and then play an entire career with him. If you could do that in FIFA, I would never turn off my PS3.
3) This is for the manager-mode. I wished for this already last year, but i really hope that you, in some kind of way could change your kit after every season. Just the colors, paterns and sponsors. Im a huge fan of Real Madrid, so i will use their kit as an example. Maybe you could change the purple color on their kit, to black or blue, or whatever you want to, when youre heading into the 08/09 season. And if you wanted a new sponsor instead og b-win, witch is their current head-sponsor, you should also be able to change that. Maybe into vodafone, emirates or whatever you guys can come up with.
4) This is actually just alot of details. like the commentators. Their talks abour wembley for example, are a very nice touch. But it didnt took a long time for me to get pissed of by the other comments, that you just hear over and over again. I know that Sean Wright Phillips is a "big rumble of energy" or whatever they say. And apparently every thing Kaká does is "astoneshly done by Kaká". So just a little more variaty in the comments would be nice. Another thing would be the weather, pre-season games in the manager-mode and, also in the manager-mode, alot more time to buy players. Actually the entire manager-mode could be changed. Make it like the Football/FIFA-manager-games. Not that big of course, but just something that looks like it. because, the be honest, as it looks right now, you just play alot of games in a row. Especially because nothing really changes. There arent really any changes in any squads, besides the one you play as, of course. And you hardly hear anything from the club-board or the press.

4. iron out a few glitches like dribbling, a player brakes through and scores, he stands there for 20 seconds and then starts doing a victory loop

6. more realistic training, sometimes you hold one training session a week, your players have six days to recover and there still absolutely shattered for the game?

commentators: can we have a range of different commentators? im sorry andy grey does not commentate on the K-league.
also: it really takes from the game when the commentator doesnt even know whos playing, yer there are 16000 players but can they at least know the names of the clubs?

- REAL MANAGER ( BENITEZ OR FERGIE)
- Teams like Arsenal have own signature play, fast play , one touch
- more info on youth team etc.
- more realistic manager mode, like the tention is different from FA cup to Champions league.

- different tention for he stadium, more focu on manager and crowd(like cops singin YOU'LL NEVER WALK ALONE)
20. Free Kicks. Give a player a more specific curve category. For instance, Inside Curve, Outside Curve, and Topspin. David Beckham would have something like a 93 for Inside Curve, but probably around a 70 for Outside Curve, whith around an 80 for Topspin. Cristiano Ronaldo, on the other hand, would have around a 75 for Inside Curve, 90 for Outside Curve, and 98 for Topspin. Also, player-specific run ups would be nice (C. Ronaldo stutter step on penalties, direct approach and lace shot for free kicks).
19. Player Ratings In Manager Mode. On the top 20 best players of the season, there are always 10 or so players that have made only 1 or 2 appearances. They apparently played well in that game, so their average rating is an 8+, which is hard to match. So the Player of the Season is always awarded to a reserve player who had a lucky game. PLEASE, this (for me) is the most annoying part of the game. Also, don't have defending midfielders top scorers. Try to make it more realistic in that category.

15. Custom Set Pieces. Be able to assign a certain player to make a specific run in the box. Have a starting position and an ending position.
16. Custom Kits. In Manager Mode, be able to modify your kits at the end of the season (i.e. shirt sponsors, away colors, and designs).
17. Create-A-Team. Just a way to keep from getting bored with the game.
18. Create-A-Stadium. I could understand how this would be hard to do, but maybe you could just be able to modify and expand an existing stadium in Manager Mode.

2. More Stadia. It's frustrating not to even have to Santiago Bernabeau...
3. More Boots. Stop wasting time with your generic boots, add a wide variety of brands and colors and don't make a boot "exclusive" to one player. If it's in the game it should be available for all the players.
4. Kit Options. It would be nice to choose what shorts and socks your team wears against varying teams. (i.e. Milan's home kit is Red/Black, White, Black, but if they are playing Juventus at the Stadio delle Alpi (at home Juve are White/Black, White, White), then Milan would wear Red/Black, Black, Black).
5. Player Transfer Options. Specifically, be able to sell a player to a certain club. Also it would be nice to be able to trade players between clubs.
6. Player Loyalty. I know this would be difficult to do, but try and make it so that not any random player can be put up for sale. When I'm playing Career mode, Totti, Gerrard, Del Piero, Raul, Giggs, and other loyal players are put on sale in the transfer window; players that would never leave their respective clubs. I would suggest a loyalty meter of 1-100 that determines a players willingness to leave.
7. More balls. Not a big deal, but I would like to be able to play with the UEFA Champions League ball during the European matches.
8. Kit Updates. Again, I understand how this would be difficult to do but it would be nice to be able to upload kits as we can squads.
9. More Player Faces. I'm sure this will come, I don't think I even have to ask.
10. League Updates. Be able to switch the promoted and relegated teams into their new leagues.
11. Netherlands. I'm glad NED was finally put into FIFA 08, but with generic players it is annoying to have to switch them out with the real ones and have the old ones stuck in the free agents list.
12. Custom World XI. Be able to customize the World XI squad.
13. Better Classic XI. ACTUAL best players ever need to be there (i.e. Best, Maradona, Pele, Charlton, etc.)
14. Number Designs. Only a problem for EPL teams. If they are playing in the league, have the Barclay's Premier League standard number designs. If in UEFA Champion's League, have different numbers.
