1. Include all world leauges including the A-league.
2. Have a life-mode where you start of as a young player playing for a unknown club & work your way up to the major leauges.
3. Have world player rankings & world team rankings.
4. Be able to buy known sponsers during manager mode & place them on the jerseys.
5. Be able to create your own team from anywhere in the world.
6. Be able to create your own jerseys home & away.
7. Be able to create any face of any person in the world.
8. Have brand football boots
9. Be able to create your own training ground & playing stadium from scratch.
10. Be able to create your own moves & set plays

fifa 08 was an excellent game for 360!!! no new engine necessary! keep all the teams available in FIFA 08. i would be very happy if FIFA 09 is just a refined edition of fifa 08. things to consider:

MORE STADIUMS-everyone loves their home stadium, or at least make customizable
PLAYER ANIMATION-trash talk, trading shirts, emotions that affect players morale
SMOKE, FIREWORKS, CONFETTI-make more realistic, preferably able to be turned off
MORE HEROES-pele, maradona, garrincha, zidane, rivaldo, dunga,

the controls should be like FIFA07 it was more easy for me and others

you should have the new Nike Vapors in red, black, and orange.

u should be able 2 play coop online, so 2 ppl on 1 team (not on same console) agenst 2 others, but not be a pro. u should also be able 2 direct ur freekick using a cursor like in 2004. and, see through the keepers eyes wen savin a penalty

put the egyptian league in the game

For the next FIFA, bring back easy tackling of the goalies, easy tackling overall, 45 minutes halves, and auto- play. In other words, FIFA 98/99/2000/2001/2002 quality of play, instead of this pretty graphics. Hey, I like to play, and sometimes, I just like to have the computer play my games. I also like to tackle rough.

Nevermind, FIFA went to the gutter after 2003.

they should actually include more national teams like Colombia and Venezuela. Also, start updating the uniforms. Ecuador plays with the old 2006 World Cup uniform. And, no one cares about the Australian, Swedish, Polish, Austrian, and Norwegian leagues. Let's try including leagues like the Ecuador, Colombia, Argentina. Also, put in more stadiums. The Santiago Bernabeu isn't even there! Lastly, bring back the Create a Player mode. Does anyone remember the indoor soccer mode from FIFA 97? They should do that (the MISL).

also more and better commentators for different countries and not the same commentators for every single match that u play have a mixture like for the premier league u could have the ones that do it all the time on live tv: Alan Parry, Steve Banyard, Ian Darke, Martin Tyler, Jon Champion, Peter Drury and then their co-commentators; Andy Gray , Andy Towsend, Chris Kamara, David Pleat, Paul Walsh, Efan Ekoku etc. Also possibly when you at home the commentators could be from the clubs television channels commentators from when they show match such as LiverpoolFC TV's John Aldrige

- Improve free kicks. put them back to mwhen you could chose the spin and lift of the ball like in fifa 05 i think it was
- make the crowd more realistic. make them have fights, mexican waves, throwing flares etc
- have celebrations at the end of matches not just them walking off the pitch with thier hands in the air. have players coming off the bench shaking hands and say if you win the league have the fans storm the pitch and lift the players onto their shoulders etc
- make injuries alot more realistic like head collisions producing blood and the players having to go off the pitch to get stiches then come back on a minute later
- put refs and liners in the game not just in cut scenes and make the refs be actual officials such as Alan Wiley and also have the refs have their own way of refereeing the game like being really strict or not strict. also have the choice to make players argue with the ref and be booked or sent of for it.
- make player graphics better cos in all of the games they've just looked like those little mini footballers that u can get
- instead of in manager mode where u create your own manager have the choice to make a new manager or just be the actual manager of that club because its kinda stupid playing as yourself in manager mode then when you play as someone like Liverpool during the game the fans start sing; Rafa Rafeal, Rafa Rafeal, Rafa Rafeal, Rafeal Benitez
- make creating a club more in pro evo where yo can do all sorts of things for the designs and make custom logo not get to chose if the shirt is stripers or blank or sqaured
- make the corners the same as free kicks using spin, lift, direction using an arrow, etc
- during the game you should be able to see the manager on the sidlines shouting to his players instructing them what to do and have cut scenes when there fouls have the manager shout at the ref in disgust or when players have a shot that goes miles wide see the manager walking back into the dugout and make notes.
- also when there are cut-scenes you should be able to hear what is happening not just see. Like when a player is fouled get the player who fouled the other go argue with the ref and use real voices.
- also after games have small interviews with one or two of the players or managers asking questions and stuff like that just like on the tele.

Overall just make like it would be when you watch it on tv...................................REAL

2) Add all 4 refs on the field and ball boys
3) More national teams like canada, israel, colombia and more.
4) Add some south american teams in the rest of the world so they can have the Copa Libertadores

Where the hell was ESTADIO SANTIAGO BERNABÉU??? Its one of the most legendary stadiums in the world, but instead you have chosen stadiums like St. James Park, Vicente Calderon etc.
And you should also be able to change the kitnames. It just look so stupid when Alexandre Pato from AC Milan for example is being zoomed in on. His name is written all the way down his arms. Looks amazingly wierd.
Another thing is when you edit a player. Lets take Royston Drenthe from Real Madrid as an example. First of all his not a left/wing-back. His just a wing. Like Arjen Robben. I think i used half an hour to an hour when i edited Drenthe. The same counts for a player like Fernando Gago wich passes in real-life are fenomenal. But they suck in the game. None of his qualites are in the game and thats a shame. So endless editing would be nice.
An extension of the "be-a-Pro"-feature is also needed. The popularity of FIFA is big now, but if that feature is being extended, it would explode! The feature works very, very good. It almost couldnt be better. But if you just could play a couple of seasons, with a chosen or a created player, it would be so fantastic! Like in Madden! So pleeeaaase extend it!
And after every season the kits of the clubs changes. And of course they should also change in the manager-mode. You should just be able to change the color and the sponsor. Like Manchester United. Their sponsor is Nike. So if you chose to change it to Adidas for example, the the kit should change so it looked like an Adidas-kit. Like Liverpools, Real Madrids or Chelseas kits. With te "Adidas-stripes" down the arms etc...
And my two last wishes is weatger-conditions and in-game-judges. That would undoubtly be a nice touch!

Add career mode to the Wii! and add national teams as well which would be good for 2-player games. I think the gameplay on the wii is quite good, it just really really lacks the carreer mode, which makes me lose interest after some time. Also you should be able to modify the existing players skills, as a lot of them are just so wrong.

Also, why on earth didnt you make the European Championships for the Wii as well? Its just to big a market to ignore I think, I would have loved to play that as well, as fifa 08 is getting a bit boring now due to the lack of teams and carreer mode. Guess ill just have to go with PES now instead.

As a former PES fanboy how about telling you some things I liked and I think really shouldn't change:

All the teams and kits from so many leagues and countries (brilliant!!!)
Being able to download the latest transfers (you have to do this yourself in so many other games and for obsessive compulsive types like me this is a great feature!!)
Manager mode (it needs a few tweaks here and there, but hey it absolutely beats PES master league to death!!!)
The passing (manual passing is so amazing, and being able to alter between manual and assisted passing is a great feature too)
The pace of the game (it builds like a proper match)

There is so much to tinker with and explore - thats the reason why I am sticking with FIFA. Konami obviously don't care about their fans, who complain about the same things year in and year out and are never listened to. Well done EA Sports!!

I see that the weather options have improved on the Euro 2008 game, I am assuming these will move onto Fifa 2009. It is unrealistic that the weather remains exactly the same when playing manager mode on '08. For some reason football games seem to have given up on snow.. they need to bring it back as orange balls rule!!! So I would like to see: rain, wind (in certain stadia), snow (especially in lower league grounds). How about the pitch cutting up, this was actually done pretty well in the Euro 96 game (I think this was an actua sports game, not an EA sports game) - for extreme slide tackles I want to see mud slides!!!! If you could add this to the players getting more and more muddy it would be amazing. It can't be that hard, how many rally games do you see where the cars get muddy?!!! Mud, rain and snow shouldnt only be aesthetic differences they should really effect the game physics (slippy balls, slower running etc...) You can do it EA!!!!

please put more premier league stadiums in2 the ps3 and 360 versions of the game such as:
the stadium of light-sunderland (fantastic stadium, the fans r so loud)
the city of manchester stadium-manchester city ( really nice modern stadium which is holding the 2008 uefa cup final)
white hart lane-spurs (good stadium- fans r loud, plus spurs r a really gd team now)
villa park-aston villa (big stadium, very historic)
Upton park-west ham united (good stadium, held international matches before)
goodison park (very historic stadium, good atmosphere)

i also think you should put celtic park and ibrox in, as both are good stadiums and the teams comete in europe, i also think fa cup semi finals should be held at old trafford, villa park, or wembley, lyk in real life, and please play the finals at wembley instead of the clubs home stadium. finally, y wasnt the santiago burnebeu in fifa 08, its the best stadium in the world. there should be more fan chants also with the accents from the area the team plays, for example. newcastle and sunderland should have geordie/mackem accents when they sing and liverpool and everton should have scouce accents.

you should include more country domestic clubs, i mean you have northern ireland but the carnagie premier league and the other divisions dont exist. as a big institute fan id like to play as my own team. not only northern ireland but. alot of the other countries should be incuded as well

they must put but leagues like the Argentinean and remove to second divisions from others paises since the best players of futbol come from Argentinean and I believe that at least one is deserved binds no? please hel us for that be trust!!!! YOU CAN MAKE THE DIFERENCE!!

I think that the flow of the game is still too unrealistic. it is completely different to what you watch on tv. Take some pointers from Pro Evo in that matter (Messi in Pro Evo 2008 is AWESOME!!!) and also the graphics are kinda not that great (drogba doesn't look close to normal)... Manager mode is also unrealistic, Have injuries and also be able to train your players on the training ground and set tactics and have a scene before the match in the dressing room where you can define tactics properly. There is no real crowd atmosphere and celebrations after goals are boring! i love forst touch though and if you can combine what fifa has to what pro 2008 (gameplay) has, it will be untouchable! i also like the idea of being able to design new kits every season. Injuries, fights, arguments and the realism of the game is not in fifa 2008 at all. i hope they do better in 2009. Manager mode MUST be more detailed (Interviews,Rumours etc.) Training ground drills ESSENTIAL in manager mode!!!!!! there should be build up to games and critics. freekicks and headers must also be improved and also signature moves and styles of big name players focused upon!

Be A Pro mode is really fun, especially online. I agree with some of the suggestions that you should be able to create a young player and earn your place in a team. Almost like a full season mode but you only control one guy. You can be transferred to different leagues in different countries and by playing training games and playing well in matches your skill gets better. The main aim could be to represent your home country at a World Cup or European Championships.

alot needs to be inproved in fifa
1)put proper legends in the game
2)make them unlockable
3)do instead of just manager mode do player mode where you be 1 player and get salary have private meetings

10. training mode in manager mode and game modes
11.warm up your players before the game and before kick off
12. in training mode have the a selected player and u should able to drive the car to training and get him ready for trianing (in game mode only)
13. if the main ref has an injury u can have the 4th offical to take his place

The heights of the players don't appear to change much on cut scenes (like when players walk off the pitch) so Peter Crouch is the same height as Jermain Defoe. Looks silly!

The 'tele' camera mode could be more like real TV and be pivoted from the centre circle rather than running straight down the touch line.

When you sign a player in manager mode a cut scene before the match of the player being paraded on the pitch or a press conference would be really cool!

better GRAPHICS and better game play. more leagues etc. you know lol

In manager mode when playing the English league I thought it was unfortunate that the FA Cup, League Cup and Community Shield finals aren't played at Wembley. Plus when you win a championship or cup it would be good to see some sort of ceremony where you actually see the cup being picked up. I was a little frustrated after playing and winning a whole season that I didnt at least get to see a cup! Maybe at the end of the season a 'photo' of your squad is taken that includes any trophies you may have won and you can look at previous squads in manager mode.

-have ability to leave for national squad and have a decent campaign for it.

*create a team and be able to move team to different leagues and places while keeping the same stats and growth for each player, and play for that league. with full options and things to do.

*please fix this: in world class and (dont know for sure)legendary mode, the opposite ai tended to be more cheap with tackles and how they moved. i dont care what ppl say, any player on everton cannot outrun c ronaldo or eto'o.. the ref was cheap sometimes too, because the cpu got away with a lot and i shoved a tackle in and got yellow, it makes it very frustraing sometimes.

---the uefa euro 2008 demo was excellent. the gameplay was fantastic. overall it was a great improvement. the cutsecenes for the players and coaches were interesting but sometimes it lagged. make it a button press for the coaches like (+) and(-) things to say like above.

use this gameplay formula for fifa 09, because it is much smoother, more responsive, and players dont have that half a second imbalance with a strong pass or when turned around. overall the demo was excellent, if the actual game is at par or higher i will definetely buy- cant wait!!

to be honest, fifa 08 in big improvement from 07, and for 09 implement the same general structure from euro 08 .

Maybe a bit better with the tournaments

i think that there should be referes on the pitch and linesman that you can see, also i think there should more choose of things to buy in the fanzoneshop. another thing that should be on the game is more little clubs so you can build them up to be as good as utd. arsenal and chelssea

I think there should be a variety of commentators so about 3-4 different commontarors as it gets a bit boring the same old catch fraises.

also i think that players need to look more realistic for example fernando torres's hair doesnt look anything like him in real life

there should be a reffare in the match and players should protest the decision (sometimes the ref gets the desisions rong)

the top 4 clubs should be the top 4 as on fifa 08 (manager mode) middlesbourgh won the leage championship sides shouldnt get into europe either !

on the main menu and other menus make the background lighter as on other versions of fifa e.g fifa 2005.
