Your Ideas for FIFA 09

oh yeah and make the freekicks like in fifa 2003 (i think) where one can decide where to hit the ball, and where to... also allow a visible press meeting room

1. Make dribbling easier and more authentic. i.e. dont make it combo moves, instead allow the player to play around with the stick and therefore make the ball move whatever direction the stick is moved
2. make the keepers' movement smoother, and dont make them stay in goal until one is half a metre away from them, and they shouldnt let a ball roll until the goal line before the go for it.
3. make keepers equally good on higher difficulty settings, and do not allow higher difficulty settings to make the other teams stronger, faster, better etc. they should stay the same skill, just more "intelligent", i.e smarter passing, shooting etc and not so they can score a goal from the halfway line or any time they shoot at your keeper
4. make it simple to create realistic looking people with "create-a-player", also allow branded shoes with customisable colours
5. make the "create-a-team" include more possibilities, colours, and include brands
6. make a PRO mode with goalkeeping available, also allow the player to be put on the bench and subbed in at any time by the manager's choice, and allow player transfers, and allow more real life player mode, ie one can complain about or to the manager about things
7.allow kit changes (colours, sponsors, labels etc) for every season and include more than one sponsor, so that one has a kit sponsor, drink sponsor etc.
8. Make the manager mode similar towards the championship manager/football manager ... and dont have team chem so low... make it same as the default, but add a manager trust bar , showing how much the players trust you. and the player salaries shouldnt be so hard to pay with the sponsorship money, the money should cover evrything and there should b money coming from other places like the tv channels getting the rights for the gmaes etc.
9.more situations that can change your job security, team chem, fan support etc
10. a day by day manager mode, and also the players dont get tired that quickly, and proper training sessions where the player can practice properly.
11. buying/selling players should be easieer/simpler... (because curently rival clubs can buy players off you if you let them, yet they never let you buy their players even if theyr on the transfer list. allow customisation of players in manager mode... change hair, shoes (colours/brands)
12. fans visible with shirts, old and new, home/away/alternative... managers visible during the game and make creat a manager for manager mode... and managers get fired in manager mode and hired in other teams, and commmentators also comment on the managers, and their successes current and those made in the game.

this is a start... may be too much to ask... but hey you asked for this

When you have a young player in fifa 08 that is a 65 or 75 overall, the more you play them the better they should become faster and give players experiance levels, such as younger players arent as experianced as the older players like Ronaldinho and Delpiero and C.Ronaldo. Have the young players earn their way up not be a star right away like Pato.

the free kicks are rubbish now have them like they were on the euro 2004 game well better with spin on the ball and stuff also have the referees that make mistakes they are supposed to be human.

FIFA08 is a very good game. And it gets more and more realisitc by the year!!
But here are some of the things that i think you should put on FIFA09.

1) More animations, eg. managers arguing,players fighting,
2) When the players are arguing, you could show the fans getting out of there seats to see what is going on in the pitch. And say if a team is losing, the camera should show the fans of that team lyke crying or something.
3) more realistic, eg. players holding a cup if they just one a league or something, etc.
4) more goal celebrations, lyke taking your t- shirt off and just running around mad, like say if someone scored at the last minute,the fans should jump up and down and all the players (including goalkeeper) and manager should come and hug everyone. Also when they score, the camera should quickly show lyke a pub or something cheering and stuff.
5) Make the game more harder, eg. more injuries, and they should stay out maybe for the whole season.
6) If you sign a new player to your team, then you should be able to see the players in the locker room cheering and the manager with the new players shaking hands, and reporters asking the manager questions.
7) Different commentators, and they should not jus be talking about the match, but like upcoming fixtures of your team in manager mode, etc. Also, there should be alot of things they say, they always say the same thing.
8) More animations from the fans, like the camera could show them booing the players, or singing, etc.
9) More cups, world cup, european cup, chamipons league, etc.
10) Finally, the skills. They are really good, but you could have like a demo of each skill, how they are done, eg. show which buttons to press, because they dont put all of the skills in the manual. And they could show skill actually being done by a player( like in fifastreet3)

And that is all(thank god) lol.

i play fifa 08 on psp and i would like to create my own player like other people do in other consoles, but i cannot do this on psp.

MY MAIN IDEA FOR FIFA 09 IS:
i like to see Iran Pro League & Iran National Team in FIFA 09. Iran was part of the FIFA 08 voting for new league however they finsihed second behind Australia and they were chosen for the new league in FIFA 08.

Iran Pro League and the National Team has always been on of the strongest contenders in Asian Football so i would like to see that in FIFA 09.

i do like fifa but it needs to be much better. it should have:

1. every stadium in the english football league
2. in manager mode you should need to get the players on a work permit
3. you should see the sweat on the players
4. make the movements of the players more realistic
5. you should be able to see the ref and linesmen
6. you should have a teams 3rd kit straight away on fifa as some 3rd kits aren't on the game
7. IT MUST STAY ON PLAYSTATION 2 AS WELL AS THE PS3!
8. you should see the players lift a cup and collect their medals at the end of a cup final
9. all the latest transfer news at the end of the summer window
10. you should be able to make your own stadium and kits
11. it would be good if more leagues were on it like the blue square premier, argentinian etc.
12. different commentators other than clive tyldsley and andy gray such as john motson, john champion , mark lawrenson
13. more sound effects
14. every player should look different and should look like they do in real life
15. more animations when players take a shot or a free kick like cristiano ronaldo
16. i am a derby fan and they signed mile sterjovski in january. he was only on the australia team and not on the team he origionaly played for. i got really anoid about it. im also a northampton fan and the signed adebayo akinfenwa, mark little and jon hayes but they wernt on the game. make sure everyone is on fifa 09
17. make the commentators say every players name in a match because they only say the well known ones.
18. when you start manager mode with a lower ranked side the money is rubbish. make it more realistic like mk dons getting £350,000 a game
19. other fifa games you could see the mud on the players. you cant anymore so bring it back.
20.in manager mode the players overall should grow or not grow depending on how well they did in the season before.

i hope that you add all of these things on fifa and pleasssssssssssssse keep it on the ps2 !

I just remmbered also choosing the ticket fee for your stadium, also i dont know why the income from the ticket isnt real like if i choose fcb with 100k capacity stadium i get way low then whats expected.
and emm more buildings sourronding your stadium that you can build or buy in your city that can improve team stats, like in manager 08.

I think player's level in the player growth section should tell us what will be in the next season because its dumb, players need to have good season and bad season that affect the level of play, otherwise its so predictable that its boaring.
also getting rich in the game is so easy, for example i buy alexandre pato from milan in 20 mil and i sell him for 100? thats sucks, he must improve to with hes level to make his valuse increase, also when u buy a player with lvl 70 and when he is on your team now he is 80? why ?
also more dynamic new and events in the league that you play and in the world.
relashionship is a good idea, its like if u have a good relashionship the other team will agree to sell you players or wont play too hard on you in the game and such.
faster game play will be nice.
setting fines for players who played bad in the game.
training camps.
more dynamic board requests.
relashionship between players and coach and fans.
fans are important they must be more involved in the game such as they expect you to do thins for them and you must do it, like in spain with fcb or real where the fans determine your future in the club.

After winning a cup, there should be medals awarded to the winning team. Celebrations definately need to be improved alot!! Should be able to adjust camera views (zoom and height). Fancy kicks and wider variety of ways to strike the ball. Manager mode - International legues/teams (Greece, Egypt). More realistic movements...Each player should have their own unique style of play. have the option to do the tricks and such, thing like stepovers. i like the freedom of FIFA Street, but i also like thestandards of plain FIFA

I think there should be a option where you can turn off the player upgrade points. because my goalie and one of my defenders always has so many degrade points on them so there overall rating goes down -4. (In manager mode)

i think that fifa 08 was the best game ever.and no game like fifa ..its so realistic.but if there could be ore stadiums and more leages(argentine leage)im not argentine but is a really good leage.but there should a rule that allow golies to get red card,and go to corners.That would make the game better..but is still realy good.If in manager mode you can put the player that you want for a corner kick orr for a free kick,MEN it would be awsome,like putting the players that you want for the freekicks ..referies on the game running would be greater.Thanks for listening..if there could be a chance you could put when editing a player making the players hair different and adding more ditails would make the perfect fifa 09.thank you hope to see one of my opinions

1. Alot more stadiums, Goodison Park, Stadium Of Light, Villa Park, White Hart Lane, Estadio Santiago Bernabéu etc.
2. More editing abilities, eg. more boots, such as different varieties to same boots (eg. FIFA 08, Nike Total 90 Laser, Red/Black only even though Yellow/Black & White/Black versions belong to other players. What would be really great is if there is a list of all the lastest football boots, then when you select a type, another menu opens with the different colours available for that boot.
3. More Footballs, Kits etc. I like the idea off being able to alternate shorts, eg. Manchester United's Home kit being Red,White,White. Well how about when playing away against a team with the same coloured shorts it should be Red,Black,Black like it is in real life.
4. Weather & Dynamic Weather. Which would effect the ball movement.
5. Match Officials, Referees, Linesman & 4th Official
6. Real Advertising Boards, not just the same ones.
7. More variety in default stadiums.
8. Change in scoreboards, eg. An official FA Barclays Premier League scoreboard.
9. Combinations in Commentary, instead of just Andy Gray & Martin Tyler, How about John Motson etc. It would also be good if the comentator made more of an effort when a goal is scored, eg. instead of just saying something like "And its in the net, now they're a goal to the good." how about something like shouting "What A Goal!" or even a "YEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH" when lets say the national team is playing.
10. More realistic animations when taking shots, (FIFA 08 is good, just repetitive), eg. Cristiano Ronaldo, Nani, Manuel Fernandes have the own type of striking the ball clean and making it move in the air, dipping etc.
11. Make it more realistic when shooting so that the player doesn't always fall over when shooting.
12. More injury varieties such as broken legs, ankle sprains, knee ligament damage etc.
13. The goal nets in FIFA 08 are good, but sometimes they are still a bit solid, also more varieties in goal nets, they are identical in every stadium.
14. Bring the crowd closer to the pitch in some stadiums, eg. at Anfield the crowd are practically right behind the goal, yet at Anfield on FIFA 08, theres a considerable distance between the pitch and the front row.
15. Ball Movement, the abilty for players like Ronaldo & Juninho to make the ball not spin as such but move ie. curl, swerve & dip in one shot.
16. When in manager mode, it would be nice to create an avatar of the manager, and when you sign a new player, it would be great to perhaps see your manager avatar shaking hands, or holding a team jersery with the new signing.
17. Day, Dusk, Night, Sunny, Overcast, Snowy, Rainy, Hale storm etc optional in ALL stadiums. For eg. the Nou Camp has Day Time & Dusk, yet Old Trafford has Day & Night.
18. When a player is injured during a match, you and the opposition can hit the ball out of play, then give it back to the team that hit it out.

20. Mixed reception when a player returns to a former club, eg. Wayne Rooney being abused when playing against Everton etc.
21. Team songs such as Zcars for Everton, You'll Never Walk Alone for Liverpool etc.
22. More crowd chants, they are great in FIFA 08 however my team is set as Everton, they sing various Everton songs, and the opposition constantly sing Liverpool songs, even when NEITHER team is playing.
23. Crowd Animations, eg. When the home team scored the majority of the stadium jump up and down but a small section were the away supporters would be don't, and vice verca.
24. Goal celebrations such as taking off the shirt and jumping into the fans
25. From scoring, straight into the goal celebration instead of running to one corner flag the celebrating in the centre circle, or pointing and celebrating with the player who assited in your goal. etc.
26. When players score they celebrate with other strikers and midfielders or maybe even the whole team like the goal keeper running the length of the pitch to join in etc. ON FIFA 08 the player who scores only ever celebrates with the defenders.
27. A REAL Training mode, the arena is a nice touch but it can be a bit boring, a proper training mode could help more with set pieces, like being able to take a free kick with a defensive wall.
28. Lets say you score a winning goal in the last minute against Manchester United, the crowd should go absolutely mental.
29. When you make a good attack your should hear the "thunder" of when the crowd should stand up hoping for a goal.
30. More crowd noise when playing a rival. such as booing their best player.
31. The Skills are brilliant, can't really complain, but it would be good if they were more responsive to when you want them performed, eg. a step over immediatly when you perform it on the pad, instead of taking a few more steps and then doing it and being tackled.

I'd enjoy the random facts, spontaneous chants and crazy shouts from specific clubs/fans.

Even if you had a general fan-style commentary with generic chants ... it would be interesting.

fifa o8 was just the same as 07 except you changed call second defender button from X to L1. change it back!!! what a stupid idea X was much better! also that glitch where if u play like fa cup games you will have to play a league game on the same day so all ur players are nackered. that sucks. more injuries would be nice to add a bit of realism and force you to use ur subs i find i can play months without having to change my starting 11 its boring. definately DONT bring back that 05 thing where u had to start as a rubbish team that was just annoying and DEFINATELY DO make it so u can play in european cup in ur first season. if u start as a top 4 team u shud be able to play in europe in ur first season!! the computer doesnt score as much as they should either even on hard i can still let players run through on goal and the comp will still miss the chance to score. boring! more realism pleeeeeeeeeeeeze

on fifa 09 when its a champo league game or league cup have it at night coz at the moment if the settings are on day then all the games are on day and vise versa and also have the final of a competition in a different stadium not a teams home ground !

make the crowd more realistic, update the players which have transferd in real life and show the manger shout out orders to his playes or show them in the dressing room.

how about developing be a pro starting from youth than being spotted by a scout going for trails and going through the ranks becoming first team and become good as ronaldo atrracting of teams to buy you

More leagues included. Add the Argentine, Chilean, Iranian, Israeli, Russian, Egyptian, J-League, Costa Rican etc. If you cant get the leagues, then get what you can for the "Rest of the World." This can lead to the Copa Libertadores, Copa Sudamericana, FIFA Club Championship etc. Also more national teams. You should go back in time and Focus on FIFA 98. You had all the national teams in there. I personally have XBox360, and i wouldnt mind if getting these leagues and teams off the Marketplace. Make the World Cup a playable tournament. On Manager mode, when you get a high enough, you should be able to get offers from national teams to play in the world cup and friendlies etc.

I'm from Uruguay and here we are very dissapointed by the fact that in FIFA the Centenario is not included between the other stadiums. It's an Historic Monument of the world football and i think that it should be included. Also the Argentina League and Uruguayan should be included aswell as the world cup and European and Southamerican important cups

I think they should bring out a FIFA BAP game. Basically its based entirely round the Be a pro game. You create your player and live his life from young YTS boy to international glory. You not only play the games on the pitch but you have to make everyday decisions that could seriously effect how your career pans out.

Im sure they could probably incorperate this into the actual FIFA games but the size of game im talking about would need to be its own game. Also i cant imagine EA would pass up the chance to make some more money with this seperate game
