Your Ideas for FIFA 09

I would like to have a Be a Pro career mode. Either you start with an Own created player or someone on the game that allready exists. But thats probably the best idea I know :)

Different weather patterns would be neat... rain, snow, hail, etc.
There are pleanty of good skill moves, but study robinho's skill more and put that into play.

1. Next-gen faces and stadiums
2. more seasons in be a pro mode
3. More things you can handle. like meetings and training camps like in FM08
4. Add Argentinian and Russian League. With real players and stadiums etc.
5. more National Teams.
6. REAL Holland team with real players and the stadium: 'de Kuip'
7. You can remove one of the english lower division.
8. Expand make you own club

If all these things will be done in FIFA09 than is FIFA way better then PES

EDUARDO!! injuires LOL! more horrofic injuries i.e:leg breakers, ankle breaks maybe like petr cechs injury a damaged skull all these may seem very harsh on these players but it would be much more realistic o ye and we can forget to add palyers geting stretcherd off!!

The "be a pro" was fantastic. In my opinion you should get a careerer mode for the "be a pro". Where you look after your player and his contracts and not a whole team.

i think you should add egypt tot national team because they are the best team in africa and won the african cup of nations 2 years in a row and add Al ahly Cario to rest of the worl teams becasue they are a very famous team and are the best in africa Thank you

I think they should add the Argentinean League and the Russian League. They need better stadiums and the crowds should look more life like. They need better build up for derby matches too.

the beter the player is at shooting, the bigger vary of shots they should ne able to pull off in the right posissions and with the right timing e.g. bycicle kicks just outside the box, jumping up and hitting the ball just like what van persie done a few seasons ago.

Refs should be able to hand out cards after playing advantage. A bit ridiculus that you can make 5 really bad tackles but the game keeps going and no cards are handed out at all. As long as you don't get possession.

it anoys me the way you only run in straight lines, you should be able to turn a bit better

i think you should be able to choose just before a match, whether you want your team to wear long or short shleeve

-Players should be able to do skill at pace.
-Upcoming young players should not be absolutly useless, some should have incredible pace or ball control or some other attribute like a hard shot.
-When I say turns below I meant when you have your back to goal and a defender behind you, you should be able to turn around the defender and face the goal in various different ways.

i think it should be easier for the keeper to be carded or injured, because it never seems to happen.
I also think that if they get sent off or carded, you should be able to put any other player on the pitch.

Turns- players should be able to do different turns to beat defenders.
Playing styles- there needs to be different running styles for different players, for example, when Messi runs it's as though the ball is stuck to his feet, Henry takes very long strides, Ronaldinho often has his hand half raised when he has the ball and his head is constantly moving quickly looking around him (with his hair also moving!). Also when you are playing against players like Ronaldo they should do stepovers etc. to try and beat you. And when a player is on form they should be harder to tackle both while playing with and against them and they should make fewer mistakes.
Refs- Different referees should have traits e.g. play a lot of advantage, gvie penalties easily give more cards. They should also be on the pitch aswell as linesmen!
Crowd- The crowd should sound and look as though they are watching the match as opposed to just being there cheering. You should be able to see them stand up when a goal is scored or a chance is narrowly missed and they should make more reaction after a bad challenge or a player is beaten by skill, a bad attempt on goal or a good run. Sometimes they should cheer every time a player on the home team gets the ball and boo when the opposition get it. There should also be more atmosphere in bigger games which sholud be shown by the players also with harder challenges etc.
Mistakes- Keepers, defenders and refs should make mistakes once in a while. With offsides especially and the whistle should not only go when the player gets the ball. You should also be able to play on and not notice an offside decision for a while sometimes.
Communication- players should look as though they are talking to each other and giving directions to each other especially defenders, goalkeepers and those with leadership traits.
Set pieces- Quick free kicks and throw ins are needed and you should be able to see the players putting down the ball or leaving it for a teammate to take without the camera changing. This is especially needed when you are attacking and the ball goes out for a throw in near the corner flag and in a split second your players disappear to a different part of the pitch.
Stadiums- there needs to be more bigger stadiums such as the Bernabeau. There needs to be more default stadiums for the smaller clubes aswell and they should have advertisments for your sponsor in manager mode instead of just 'EA Sports' and every single tunnel shouldn't be red and white (maybe try the club colours!). You should also be able to upgrade your stadium with things like electronic billboards etc. in manager mode. Also for midweek league matches or Champions League matches, they need to be played at night.
Now that the basic gameplay is so good, the smaller things as mentioned above need to be worked on.

9. In corner kicks, the user should decide how many players and which players are going to be inside the penalty area hoping to make the goal (a defender should be able to go in a corner kick situation too)

1)3D Moving fans,make it louder when a goal is scored and show them singing and the away fans dissapointment after conceding a goal.Include some real chants.

2)Pitch Invasions at the end of local rivalries and big wins and show the team lifting the cup like previously done.

3)Cut scenes like when the extra time is added on and subs are made.

4)Better commentary which is up to date and does not commeny on the shot you just had 10 secs later.

5)More stadiums from big clubs like Real Madrid,Man City,Everton

Please Ea can we have weather affecting the game,heavy rain that affects the ball and the way it moves and strong winds and other weather types.

7)Show Refs and linesmen on the pitch and make them do dubious discisions like dodgy penalties and handballs and bring in goal line discisions.

9. diffrent entrance scenes e.g champions league is at night and fa cup the ground may not be full if playing lower league opposition

These are just a few points on what should be on the new Fifa

7. Better stadiums and to be able to create your own stadium within the managing mode and normal mode.

So many people want Russia leagues in FIFA09!

most of my online ideas will probably not be possible, and i'd like someone to tell me why, but here we go. instead of an avatar being just a head, it should be an entire player so as when you create yourself, you could upload it onto the EA servers and play as yourself in be a pro online play. say everyone starts at 55 and is improved by XP and match ratings until you work your way up to that prestigous 99. how it would work is when you go into be a pro online play and select avatar play instead of club play, one team is dressed in red kits and the other in blue, no clubs, just kits. proper 11 on 11 not just 5 on 5. or if i'm being really ambitious... the reason why i want create a club back is because of online play. using the same style of inclusion as the clan tags in COD4 but actually meaning something, EA should create online clubs. you and a bunch of mates forming a club of say 7-11 people. when its 7 on 7, the pitch should be smaller. giving your club a name and badge and kit and joining your countrys league. EA should give each country about 5 or 6 divsions. i know its extremely ambitious but it would be great if it could work, and if its too late to include this system in FIFA 09 it should be in 2010

the first thing EA need to change is the pace of the game. use the engine used in euro 2008 but a bit slower. the passing is alot better in UE08 as well, its the way it should be with fifa, controlled with fantasic off the ball movement. turning on the ball also needs to be alot smoother instead of always making sharp turns. more stadiums need to be added as well like Stade de France and Hampden Park or Croke Park. Estadio Santiago Bernaduo and Estadio da Luz also need to be brought back. As fifa's selling ratio is greatest in the UK, EA need to go full circle with the UK leagues by adding the Irish Premier League and the Welsh Premier League and maybe even the Blue Square Premier League. Actual in game officials need to be added and so does deliberate dives. Carrer mode needs to expanded on the PS3. when they bring back dualshock on PS3 it needs to be put into good effect. like when you go to an intimadating stadium like old trafford, anfield and san siro and your walking out onto the pitch or taking a penalty, the controller vibrates like a heartbeat as the crowd intimadates you. whereas when your playing one of the lesser teams in the league, your players morale improves as they feel can win easily. Be a Pro mode needs to become a carrer mode as well, like starting off in the teams reserves and working your way up to club captain and that big transfer. Create a Club needs to be brought back on the PS3, and that brings me on to online play....

1. crowd go wild when you score - the fans arent passionate enough

2. awful tackes cause awful injuries! it doesnt happen like this at the moment

3. referees and linesmen make mistakes - a dodgy penalty...dubious offside etc!

5. team ambition affects league performances - man utd desperate to win for titl for example, relegation candidates desperate to survive so are more committed in matches

6. long throws - be able to launch it into the box with a good throw taker.

1. headers - make them harder to do - the ball always seems to fall magically on the players head. they also seem to drift effortlessley into the corners.

2. strength - it is too unrealistic on 08, strikers should get muscled out easier

3. faster sprinting - so that 90+ pace attribute really does make a difference!

4. title race - harder to win the title - pressure should affect player performance drastically towards the end of the season if they are challenging for title, 4th place, survival etc

5. corners - need to be harder so that they must be well worked to score!

6. long shots - where have the "daisy cutters" gone? you must be able to do/score long shots that travel quickly along the ground!

7. curl - you should be able to curl the ball from outside the box into the furthest corner - not easily, but it should work sometimes

8. goal scraps - there should be more frantic goal scraps!

9. rounding the keeper - there should be a proper way to round the keeper

10. time wasting in the corner - be able to properly shield the ball

please put in the conference leagues! i live in Maidenhead which is the the Blue Square South conference league and i have been wanting to take them to the premiership for a long time now. I'm sure others will agree, people want to see havent and waterloo take on liverpool again.

in manager mode be able to choose kit sponsors e.g o2,carlsberg oki etc also be able to build your own stadium if you add some off the ideas me and everyone else has suggested fifa 09 will be a huge succes

BUILD YOUR OWN STADIUM MODE that would be so cool. also make the crowd get morre exited when a goal goes in

Can everyone stop asking for visible refs and linesman, FIFA 08 HAS THIS!!! Go into "My FIFA" then click on "Game Settings" then go to then end coloumn and click " referee on" and then just below that, "Linesman on"

This will then allow you to see the ref and the linesman in the games that you play, and they run like they do in matches. So please stop saying that FIFA 08 doesnt have this feature!!!

I like what i'm seeing people suggest.
I would like to see in career mode, more varied weather, ie rain, overcast, and different times of day too. More player's should look more like the players in real life, and in creating ur own player, perhaps a photo face thing could be used like in tiger woods golf. You should be able to create ur own team and kits, and be able to chose from different sponsors for ur kits, ie u can create an adidas or nike kit or puma kit etc. More boots, and all the colours should be available for the boots. Also more cutscenes with player reactions. Id like to see the ref on the pitch as is on pc, more keeper contorl as is on pc. It would be great to see a manager on the sideline too. What would add the most to the realism of fifa09 would be if the grass looked less flat, with a bit more texture. It would be AWESOME and make it so real, seeing a player go for a slide tackle, and the grass tear up behind him, leaving a streak. seeing grass go on the shorts from this too would add to realism. Better cut scenes wen making subs would be great like in pro evo. U should also be able to edit player hairstyles, as they change throughout the season, but remain the same in fifa. The 3 sock lengths should be brought back aswell wen editing players.
Im sure 09 will spectacular, but im sure everyone would love to create their own team, with proper sponsered brand kits, chosing sponsors to go on them, then putting that team in a bottom league, buying all the young talent and growing ur club into a powerhouse in the top league.
Staduims is another thing which could be improved. In staff upgrades, u spend all his money on stadium upgrades, but they look the same. U should be able to edit ur current stadium, or chose new ones wen u update.
A stadium creation zone would be awesome too!
I love fifa 08 and belive the gameplay is beautiful, very realistic. It is just some of the extra touches which need improving/creating to make fifa09 the ultimate football expeirence.

Make the create a player without limits and changing the jersey sponsor on team management
Also, allow teams such as man u or real madrid have champions league in your first year of being a
manager

6. When an effective move is done, there should be some form of enhanced view or zoom for that split second.
7. Bicycle kicks should be more spectacular. When a bicycle kick is achieved, there should be some form of enhanced view or zoom for that split second.
8. Skill set on corners. Basically at this point, corners are flukes.
9. Italian, Dutch, German, Spanish and French Commentary options for the country specific club games.
