should have a referee thats on the pitch with linesmen, be able to buy boots, have a better more realistic way of runing and finally have weather such as snow or hail, make pitches slippery if it rains, make players more tired if sunny+hot etc

I've been a long time fan of all the modes in FIFA 08, and love it to pieces, but there are many areas that there can be improvement:
-More sponsors, and display the sponsors on the shirts.
-The ability to redesign the uniforms (to an extent) at the start of each season
-As well as having friendly matches at the start of each season, have friendly tournaments as well (Emirates Cup for example)
-A more active transfer market (more players for sale, and more players being bought). The reason for this is that by the time I had reached my 14th season with Shrewsbury Town, I was only 3.5 stars, yet the best team in the Premier League, and in all of Europe!
-More focus on youth development (reserve teams and youth teams), and the ability to select players from these teams for your 1st team
-Instead of having one question from the press after some games, give out question 'chains' which can affect a wide range of things in the club
-The ability to coach national teams
-More minor injuries, I go through most seasons without getting a player getting an injury, but when they do, they are out for 6 months!
-Increased chance of getting yellow cards, can get through seasons without getting any of those as well
-With scouting, increase chances of finding an amazing player with each level increased
-A lot more animations, instead of having 3 or 4 different ones for each situation
-Better commentary, I'm sick of hearing the commentators saying the keeper made a great save when he didnt even touch the ball, or saying that the game needs a goal in the second half even though the score is already 3-3 at half time
-More mistakes by players, at the moment, the only players that seem to make mistakes often are the keepers
-A new statistic: aggression, which can affect how players tackle, and react to tackles, cards, and other situations
-Being able to see the referees, and linesmen in the games
-Have animations of the manager and substitutes when a goal is scored/conceded
-When a player is badly injured, have them stretchered off
-Have players kick the ball out when a player gets injured
-The ability to customise and build your own stadiums, have a free build mode where money to spend is infinite, and have a mode in manager mode where you can only upgrade as much as your club can afford
-With Be A Pro mode, allow the player to rise through the ranks and join different teams, play for their country etc
-Better player detail, instead of having hundreds of guys all looking the same
-More leagues, more cups, especially the African Cup of Nations, the Club World Cup, and the World Cup
-More challenges, and more rewards to spend points on
-Bring back the movies!! I used to watch the movies countless times on FIFA 06 and 07, and was deeply disappointed when there were none on 08
If even some of these were added in FIFA 09 I would be in seventh heaven, and ready to slog it out for another 15 seasons with Shrewsbury!!

from Portugal ,because it has lot of good clubs
from Russia ,because some of the teams like Red Star and Zenit had gone very well at UEFA!!!
from GREECE,i think this league it should be in FIFA 09 because its has very good clubs and they have done an excellent period in CHAMPIONS LEAGUE and UEFA: OLYMPIAKOS PANATHINAIKOS AEK ARIS IRAKLIS XANTHI PANIONIOS and ASTERAS TRIPOLIS.
AND FROM BRAZIL AND ARGENTINA, because you know why...

In Greece ,in Russia, in Portugal we play FIFA a lot,but when you hadn't have these leagues we were sad and this video game lost its interest....

FIFA 09 is better than PES 09.....

Yes, names of young players found by scouts are ludicrous...

I have the most important element fifa needs for complete and utter gameplay dominance.

1. Freedom to move to the ball: What i mean by this is that when you pass the ball on a through ball or a straight pass you can not break the players run, this limits pass plays that can be made and strips the game of realism because real players dont stand there and wait for the ball to get to them, they move to the ball.

2. Referee's: Having referee's on field will also add to game realism as would linesmen these are a necessity.

3. Animaions: Example i was playing fifa 08 and i scored a sensational overhead with Anichebe and the animation on the overhead was so fluidless, he just stood there and its like the world froze when he kicked it and the ball left his body at about the knee or thigh.

4. Ability for grudge matches to feel like they are grudge matches. The best grudge match is Birmingham Fc Vs Aston Villa there is no crowd emotion to this game, if you are either watching it or at it live you can feel the crowd chanting and shaking the stadium through your body.

Now

The staff upgrades system is outdated you need to upgrade this system. What this should be replaced with is a system similar to that of madden, what should be able to happen is that if you are building up a minnow side i.e Norwich you should be able to build them a stadium or upgrade the one they have. The scouting system is also quite horrible, what should be presented by that is if for instance you searching for talent in the Africa's continent, you get the option to play a game between Nigeria U/20's and Cameroon U/20's depending on the scout you have acquired and are able to pay for is what skills of the players you are able to see. The staff system that you have should be more like a hiring and firing system and with the available cash at hand is what your able to afford it will be dependant on your financial cash flows as this will be a greater level of club management.
Overhauls to Manager Mode:

1- Hiring and Firing: With this i.e you are MK Dons you have available cash flow of 500,000 a week from this 500,000 you pay the coaches wage, trainers wages, scout wages, negotiators wages, players wages and from what is left is what you cash flow will be income - expenses = Net Profit, it will add a total managerial level to the game.

2- Stadium: If you have a stadium for a minnow side I.e Tenerafe, depending on your available cash flow is what you will be able to do with the stadium, if it is upgrade the stadium for a few 1000 more seats to increase your revenue and to let your fan base increase is going to be soley dependant on you abilty to have a +profit and loss sheet.

3- Training: You should be able to pay for focused training on individual players to increase this players attributes, I.e Fifa 04 training but better as with this training comes mini games like if your increasing your players ball control you are able to do a juggling drill by moving you sticks up and down for the corresponding leg, or for free kick accuracy you have to aim at targets in the goals and so on. How well you do in these drills is how many points you will obtain to apply to your players skills, doing poorly will have a negative impact on the players attributes.

4- Strategy: For instance if you are Milwall Vs Chelsea you should be able to set up middle field plays for your team to target if you choose to simulate, or push to have a team that are playing like a defensive wall.

5- Economics: For your team to flourish as an organisation as a whole you should be able to hire a good advertising team to sell your team to the public and gain better sponsors through team performance, i.e if your are Coventry and you lose consistently not only do you run the risk of contract termination the club also runs the risk of losing its sponsors. This adds to the pressures of running a football team and for a whole managing, playing experience this would be essential.

6- WORLD CUP: You managing experience should be authentic, if your players have been good enough to represent their country at a world cup you should have to manage your side to put a team out there that is able to win without its inform players, world cup should happen every 4 years through out your managing career without this there is no life to your management, also you should be able to coach a national side you choose to i.e you could be a finish coach and you could be coaching Ecuador to world cup glory.

Im not sure if all or any of this has been mentioned previously but if any of this was implemented into Fifa 09 you would not have to worry about PES. The main issue is the restrictions to gameplay i ahe mentioned also some more slicker and polished graphics running at a higher frame rate on the ps3 would be sensational but i know EA has problems with Sony ala Madden 08 everything was dulled down as to make M$ version more superior I am glad to see that you arent doing this with Fifa it is being kept level and you can do more with the PS3 version as you can out more data onto the blu ray disc there fore we can have more leagues and authentic leagues as well i.e none of that efa and ecc rubbish put the real names eUfa and Champions League.

i think you should put in european championship in and the world cup so it feels like its a full 4 year season for the manager with what ever season they are in and then they have to worry about their players going off on international duty and play pre season friendlies

I agree you should be able to put sponsors on your created clubs Kit
you should be able to move teams up and down leagues before starting a season, for example you should be able to move leeds from league one straight up to the premier league and you should be able to adjust how much money a club starts with when starting manager mode.
And when creating a player on ps2 not sure about ps3 but created player's last names can only have 9 letter, i need more and im sure more people do to!

i think you should concentrate more on lower league teams and make some of their stadiums such as sincil bank and make the players look like them and make their overall score more accurate as some players are very good in real life and not on the game

Hi. I think ea sports games specially football games are very nice. Fifa 08 in (PS3) is the best of the football games and fifa series so I want to see Iranian national team,pro league and Azadi sport compelex in this nice game. And now I want to say some suggestions and ideas.
1.Please put some pictures of players with their movies and photographs for menu (in fan shop) or put pictures of teams and stadiums in fan shop (for menu).
2.Add cups like AFC cup,African cup,world cup and teams like Japan,Saudi Arabia,Ghana,Cote d'ivoire,Tunisia,Algeria,Iran,Iraq,Egypt with their stadiums.
3.Make teams like Asian stars,African stars,American stars,Europen stars,And zones classic teams.
4.Put some shoes from famous factories like Nike and Adidas in the edit player.
5.Put some shirt schemes in the create team for make teams.
6.Make and put the real model of the scores,time,line up and… in the fan shop.
7.Put some famous referees.

Sorry for the double post but having the rights for all teams in Allsvenskan in the next game would be great since almost every owner of a xbox 360/PS3/PC buys FIFA in Sweden.

I want to see the Russian Premier League in FIFA 09, how can you leave it outside the game and have some crappy leagues almost none of your consumers even care about. Get the rights, please!

I want to see in manager mode actually go for scouting and see young players that are good for example in Brazil. Talk to them if they want to join a club like real madrid bring a player like robinho to see the young player. Make the manager mode more realistic basically. Also, create your own team in manager mode and start from scratch from playing a club team in town to win the uefa. another idea is to put all the different leagues in every country. For example a zifa, which is zimbabwe's club soccer. in the manager mode make the media ask questions to the manager directly and the manager should drive the bus to the stadium.

I think that fifa 09 needs better skills for the MEXICAN PLAYERS and put some international cups and add more leagues like the argentina league and 2nd division of mexico. It also needs to make the players more realer then now and the players should get mad and start to argue and fight so they could get red cards

Be a pro mode should have a career option instead of just one season. That way you could build your player up year to year and transfer to more elite clubs when you improve enough.

I´d like to see te leagues of southamerica. and concacaf, also the libertadores cup and southamerican cup,

every four years, if you have a good enough record, you should be able to coach a national team in the world cup and other cups.

I write because I want you to know that Mexico would really appreciate if you could put the Stadium Olímpico Universitario or Estadio Azul ( Blue Stadium ) and the 1st Division A of Mexico in the 09 version of FIFA. I want to say too that you should take away Enrique Bermúdez talking in the game and you should replace him with Cristian Martinoli and Jorge Campos.And finally, it would be nice from you to change weather and time configurations during game. ( Exampe: You start in sunset and you finish at night) and please release the game for PSP, and other consoles not only PS3 and XBOX360 because here in Mexico we don't have mone to buy those expensive consoles.

to make the game more realistic we can do a mode where u tryout for a small unknown team and on your games the will be a sponsor of your choice from any club team if u accept their offer and the will let u try out for the team the sponser is on then make the reserve team and when u make the actual squad u go to practices and u go to game and when u go to game u have a person that drives you their and play your games

Career Mode would be really cool. Where you would:
1. create a player,
2. start with small, local club or in the youth academy of a bigger club,
3. transfer to different clubs,
4. earn international caps,
5. play out your entire career and retire.
I think that would be a lot of fun!

I beg of you EA to lose some of the unpopular leagues & cups and pack fifa 09 with the hype leagues & cups, or better yet the leagues that makes up the champions league, UEFA cup, Champions world series etc. I'd love to have a wider selection of international teams from all regions along with a world cup qualifying mode that will progress to the 2010 world cup... to cut this short just make another fifa 98, because that had it all. Make the camera zoom down and out while attacking and running back to defend a counter attack, give 5-7 seconds close ups of attacking wingers in a 1 on 1 with defenders at the corner flag trying to get a cross in. That would be awesome to show some skill moves and will be a very realistic addition to fifa, I've seen that in every football match that I've ever watched, make officials appear on the field (linesmen, referee) only the popular ones tho. AND MAKE ALL THE POPULAR PLAYERS HAVE THEIR REAL FACES PLEEEEASE!!! THANK YOU
