Probably already been mentioned - but:
Superstar Mode - loved it - so how about a whole Dynasty/Franchise or what have you mode with one player on the 360..Apparently something like that is on the PS3 already, but I dunno.
Create-A-Stadium, make a pitch for people to play on, and whatnot. Just for a bit of diversity.
Media Center - Be able to proper upload videos online so you can plonk them on your PC, or a Fileshare thing, like Halo 3 does..That works very well, and is quite good (except for the video download...thats non-existant)

I think there you should be able to choose sponsors on your created clubs Kit.

What you should do EA is make linesmen and referees on the field. Without a ref it's very unrealistic. And make the ref part of the game (example: when a player passes the ball but the ref stands in the way).

I think you should improve the whole football feeling to be as good as pro evolution soocer. I don't think for example it's fun when you just can sprint through an opponents defense. It doesn't feel real. More leagues with all club logos and available kits. Like when you play in some league with no lower leagues no team is relegated and that is bad. It can't be hard to put an lower division to those leagues. Improve the career and think football manager 08 except that you play the games. And make a new more detailed scout part. So you can scout for future wonderkids.

I Want to see european atmospheres with flares going off and huge flags flying around in the crowd and real club chants blasting aroun. so you get a real feeling for it.

almost forgot! Could they please for once make the pace faster without making the players weightless & floating around in world class mode. And you should be able to notice the difference of the field quality at good/bad stadiums.
Some other points:
-when i played fifa 08 in premier league season guess what.... sheffield utd were a top team in 9 out of ten seasons! Come on, i understand the importance of the ability to make your club the best but when something like that happens without your control it`s just silly, especially regarding teams without good players & economy.
-simulations should be more realistic depending on form,squad & club. Quite often you could simulate Barcelona against a division 3 team from england & the results were shocking, don`t think Barca would lose homestage with 5-0 against Milton Keyes in real life or would they???
-ability to choose sponsor layouts on kit
-ability to reckon stadium upgrades. New crowd chants, field quality & flags.
-where`s the gravity of the ball? Make it bounce more & a bit harder feet control, simple a more realistic feeling to the game.
-more tactic options, evolving as u buy different players & playing different teams.
-the shots have to be more explosive! Takes half an hour for a simple shot outside the box, and it`s almost impossible to bend the ball with an simple touch.
-one touch control must be improved, your star players are just as upgraded regulars without the pace & accuracy.

It would be really nice with an academy league with fixtures based on how well u manage the team, where your young upcoming stars can evolve, or u could play it yourself. Also an league with your reserves so they don`t stagger all season.This could be done with simple fixtures as above.
Also the ability to design your own kit & shoes for upcoming seasons, that would rock!

there should be an : on / off ageing option in manager mode... After 10 years i was playing with a made up team with unknown players.....

fifa 09 should do like in rugby 08...... when the commentators have a set list of names they can say ,and you can choose what you want the commentators to call your player..... this would be really good

fifa 09 should have more boot styles and make modification available to the players during anager mode.....eg: change ronaldo's boots during a season.....

We should be able to in carear mode create ourselfs without exp points and be able to be yourself as a kid and play in school matches but aas you go along you get scouted by any team and grow up and improve throough the ranks. we should be able to do this as a pro

I currently own FIFA 2007 and have noticed that people don't recieve cards for dirty tackles inside the box that result in penalties.

More points I would like to make

1. Transfers need to be more realistic in Manager Mode. I played against Sc***horpe in the Championship and they had Ronaldinho and Cannavaro!!! Also why do good players have no club at the start e.g Agbonlahor is always a free agent on mine.
2. In Manager Mode the Champions League and UEFA Cup games need to be at night and with a diffrent more tense atmosphere with the music playing for example.
3. There needs to be playoffs in the Championship League One and Two as on Fifa 08 the 3rd place team automatically is promoted.
4. Blue Square Premier along with the Blue Square North and South would be good if included.
5. As many stadiums as possible included for english teams as playing at the Estadio de las artes really is annoying every game home and away.

1) I think it would be a vast improvement to add some sort of home field advantage aspect to the game. In real life, home field advantage is extremely important and almost every team in every league has a significantly better home record than away record. In the game, results seem completely random regardless of who is playing at home.
2) I also feel that the tournaments and league tables should be a more realistic reflection of teams' talent in manager mode. Even though it is a game, what's the point of assigning ratings to each team if results are somewhat random? In my manager mode, why are 4 and a half star teams such as Manchester United and Liverpool being relegated while teams like Sunderland are at the top of the table? I personally would have a much more fun time battling for the title against truly great teams as opposed to relatively less talented teams.
***Overall, I think these two improvements would add a significant degree of realism to the game. Thank you for listening and keep up the good work!

Make fifa 09 on ps2, more people have ps2's than ps3's and xbox 360's. Foul dives are needed, but bookings for players that are caught. Able to change kit sponsor every couple of seasons, goal keeper injuries, be able to choose vice captains, more items in fan shop, more player with their real looks, more scenarios.

change boots and shirt length anytime during the season coz no player wears the same boots all season and play as one player for a season and celebrate the way you want to celebrate also when you create a player add blonde or whatever colour highlights/streaks to there hair as a choice

if it is raining or the pitch is muddy get the players kits dirty and add a blue square conference league aswell . also more selection on licenced boots

The most frustrating thing to me is when I am about to make a tackle and somehow or another my defender goes in between the ball and the dribbler. The ability to send replays to friends.

Retaliating to fouls. Also more realistic A-League players, players should be able to punch an oponent.

Complete national anthems... more behind the scenes, make it more TV transmission like. Shots from the crowds, improved chanting according to stadium at play... a programmable control!... be a lot less complicated and entertaining to put your "intentions" on hot to hit a cross, a volley, a thru ball.. rather than remembering all commands... a programmable control with recorded macros... would be great... maybe restrict the number of macros available per game per player.

need to put Ibrox stadium and Parkhead stadium in the game since rangers and celtic are in the top 20 riches football clubs, weather effects, crowd clothing color of team like in madden, stuff on sidlines like coaches and players on bench and they react to the play on the feild and more national teams. and a mode like maddens superstar mode.

I think a wider, more realistic range of objectives in manager mode would be exciting...

1. Buy/bring in on loan a specific player or someone in a specific position (CDM, LM, LB, etc.)
2. Reduce the club's expenditure by a certain percentage
3. Increase the abilities of younger players by a certain percentage - would make them actual useful players, since most of the youth players are useless in the big squads and are sold immediately

Some other ideas:

1. Have actual names and faces to the support coaching squad - with abilities similar to those of players, instead of the current oversimplified system
2. Commentary improvement! This may seem like a small thing to developers, but for those who play the game a lot, having weaknesses in this area quickly becomes apparent (and annoying)
3. More injuries, penalties, and cards! I've played over 1000 matches single- and multiplayer, and I' ve had exactly 2 red cards called on me, 1 on the computer, and 1 penalty shot during that ENTIRE time. Absolutely ridiculous! Also, goalies never get injured and that makes backup goalies useless. Injuries are also too short in duration, and players don't seem to crop up injuries, even if hurt right after coming back -also, players should get injured in practice!
4. Many more stadiums!
5. For every top flight league included, there should be a second league - in order to mix up the teams playing in the league during long manager games
6. Bring back visual sim!
7. Have the computer actually try and play full-stamina squads, while still maintaining the integrity of their team. OK, we don't want the computer fielding a team of all 3rd-string players just because they all have full stamina, but it's just as stupid to have the 1st-string team playing with less than 10% stamina. Also, have a lack of stamina actually affect the speed of computer players!
8. Ability to design new uniforms in manager mode as years progress - and if you're going to have fake sponsors, at least put them on the team uniform! Or just get some real sponsors
9. Bring back the academies (at least, there were none in the 360 version)! We shouldn't have to waste money on scouts just to bring in fresh young talent...
10. Include boardroom takeovers, buyouts, etc. - also, the manager should get fresh influxes of cash during each transfer window, based on the performance and needs of the team.

I'm sure there are lots of other things, but these are the ones that come to mind at the moment.

i think fifa 08 was great for the xbox 360 but i think there should be bad decisions, when there is a bad injury it should show the injury and if its really bad have the players and referee wave to the phisio. i think the referee and the linesmen should definatly be on the pitch,i also think there should be face recognition for the xbox 360 so you get a realistic created player, better crowd atmosphere e.g individual player chants after they score, mexican waves, flares on the pitch and the odd fan running on the pitch.

9. On manager mode get a touchline ban.

13. Every team has the real keeper kit.
14. Better graphics for the crowd.
15. In manager mode after each season you can design a new kit and get a new kit sponsor.

1. Real life update. for example when Torres wins player of the month, you have to download it to your manager mode.
2. There should be the real coaches of the top teams. With the ability to resign coaches or employ other coaches from a list.
3. Ability to control the players in pre-match warm ups, by assigning them to drills.
4. If a competition is won the club celebration should be better and longer with people handing the cups to the winners.

1) More frequent and more serious/longer lasting injuries. Often you can play through a whole season in manager mode without having any players injured. Its just not realistic. Serious injuries should call for the player to be stretchered off.

2)To be able to set the lighting/weather of a match before you play it in manager mode. Playing the champions league (or ECC) in bright sunshine just isn't the same. And we shouldnt have to unlock night time stadiums!

3) More weather affects, that have an effect on the gameplay. E.G. Rain would completley change the ball physics. Would also like to see snow and perhaps heavy wind (that would affect long passing/crossing/shooting.)

4)The ability to edit kits and individual player appearence (E.G.hair style, boots, e.c.t) during manager mode. I hate the fact that if you can spend 15 years at a club and the kit dosn't change. You should also be able to mix and match the kit during the kit selection. Like when Man Utd are wearing their home shirt they sometimes wear white shorts, and sometimes wear black.

5) Player interatcion. You should be able to praise or criticise a player on their performance, affecting their moral. (Players should react differently. For example one players moral may go down when they recieve criticism but another may become more determined to play well in the next game.) You should also be able to declare interest in another player, say what you think about another player manager, e.c.t. Anyone whos played football manager will know how this works.

6) Manager Mode improvments:
-During the transfer period you take controll of every day, not just matchdays, like in PES. This gives much more time to sign players which is needed especially in the pre season.
-Player swaps
-You are offered new jobs depending on your prestige
-The ability to reisgn and join a new team in the middle of a season
-A list of teams needing a manager that you can apply for
-International management
-More multiple choice questions
