Your Ideas for FIFA 08

(For PS2):

Work on the goalkeeper AI. The ball gets deflected to the offensive players too often. Also the commentators are too negative and become annoying after a few games. It would also be nice to have tackles be more sensitive to how hard you push the buttons (i.e. light tap does a small slide while a hard push of the button makes a more aggresive tackle). Also the players use the wrong foot too often. I know some players are more likely to use their good foot but sometimes they make very bad foot decisions in the game.

(For xbox 360):

The physics is good and all but the momentum gets very frustrating. The players all seem to weigh 400 pounds. Also the players bounce off of each other and get stunned too often. Add more dribbling moves such as the PS2 version has. Also freekicks need to have a curving feature instead of straight shots. The skillshot should be more like the PS2 version also.

You should give the goalies more freedom. For example, if there's a weak or not threatening shot, the keeper should have the choice to either play the ball with his feet and wait to pick it up or just pick it up immediately. It would even be cool to have a power shot option. Where after so many keeper saves, tackles, or shot attempts that you could earn a power shot. And on that shot, to have the camera angle enhanced and have a rear view that follows the path of the ball on its way to the goal (like bullet time).

You should add the South African league to FIFA 08 because it the best league in Africa and Africa is one of the best footballing continents (if not the best). Also add more African national teams. Cameroon, Nigeria and Tunisia aren't enough! Add Ghana, South Africa, Cote d'Ivoire, Senegal, Zambia, Togo and Angola. I hope you guys will add this stuff. Thank You.

fifa 08 could be made better by
1.The little details made more realistic for example, on the england away kit the numbers on the front of the shirts are in the middle of the top when there actualy on the right of the top under the umbro sign and the england goalkeepers names are'nt on the shirts!!!!!
2.in create tournament mode you should be able to choose to play world cup tournament or european championships tournament and choose the country you play the tounament in!!!!! like in real life!!!!
3.when you edit kit numbers for international teams, the kit numbers you change also change the club kit numbers!!! for example when you put Rooney number 9 for england it changes his man utd number from 8 to 9!!!!! which doesnt work!!!!!!
4.fifa 08 needs far far more stadiums!!!!

OHH MY GOD!!! this is my third message to day. sorry i can help it! but here is something new to the career-mode. when your season is over your players are with there national teams to compete in the World Cup, Euro 08(09/10/11),Copa America ect. when a winner of the different cups are found the papers should write it, so you now if some of your players just have becomed champions of the world, europe or maybe Southamerica. and then there also should be prices. like golden boot/foot, player of the season/year/world! that would be so cool if you now that one of YOUR players where the best player in the world or at least in the league they play in! and of course the jersies! when a season is over the jersies always change a little bit and of course the same should happen in the game, actually i think thats one of the most important thing they could add, if not the most important. i think you should be able to change the design, the same way you create the jersies to the teams you create yourself. then there would be new small "creations" that you could unlock in the Fanshop for the points you have collected when you completed a task(like won the premiership or something). just like in FIFA07 where you could unlock balls, the teams 3rd jersie or some funny sounds. hope you will listen to my ideas specialy the one about the jersies!!! looking forward to FIFA08!!!

put more international as well as more club teams. include more south american club teams and even U.S.L league. caribbean islands play soccer too. include all the teams as possible.

I think they should go back to using money in the transfer window and money instead of points for each game.Its more realistic.

Add the Game Mode Road to the World Cup and manage a International team play friendlies, qualification games in your continent, then actually if you qualify you get to play in the World Cup.

Also be allowed to do international selections in the Road to The World Cup Mode.

Also have all the continets region tournaments like;

And also be able to manage your team and play friendlies, qualification games, and the tournament itself.

It would be awesome if you could manage a international team while you are managing a club team. If your doing good in your club team you may get an offer of taking charge of an international team depends how good you do in your club career and if your managing a better club team you can get an offer of managing a better international team.

Be able to edit as many players as you want not only 40

Have more accoceries in create and edit player
More hairstyles

Also be able to edit players hair color and style the ones that dont have real faces because sometimes a player has brown hair in real life and in the game he has blond hair or has short hair in real life and in the game has long hair.

Be able to create your own formations, anything like put 5 strikers if you want to.

Be able to create a stadium.

In career mode you can switch teams at any time, not just at the end of your season.
When you switch teams you dont go to the beginning of the season you start where the season already is if its the 10th game of the season or the middle os the season or even 1 game left of the season thats where you start from.

Career Mode there should be more awards like;

Top 11 Team of the Month(season)
Top Scorer of the Month(season)

Weather

Depends what league in which country you play the weather should be different
for example;
if you play in the english league the temperature there is mostly cold and wet so for most of the games it should be raining.
then if your playing in the brazilian league where its sunny and hot most of the time it should be sunny for most of the games.

Also weather should change depending on the time of the year.
When your playing in england during spring it should rain most of the time, then in the summer it should be sunny more often but still rainy on some games, then in the fall it could start to get colder and have more rain, then in the winter have snow.

Also in the winter most of the players should be wearing long sleeves and even gloves.

Temperature and time of the game should also affect the pitch, it can become more brown in the summer because its hott and the grass dries up. In the spring it should be greener because it rains a lot. Before everygame like in real life they show the conditon of the field and the temperature and fifa08 should have that and also have it effect the gamaplay. The time of the game should also affect gameplay when a game starts at 7pm its still light outside but near the end or middle it starts to get dark around 8pm or 9pm.

In the game it should start snowing or raining and the field becomes more covered with snow or rain as the game goes on. Or before the game the field is already covered with snow as it snowed before.

you could also look at the time the different league games is played. im a dane(from Denmark) and a fan of Broendby IF and Real Madrid(Spain). in Denmark the games are played around noon so when its summer the sun should shine and the weather should be clear. but when its vinter or fall it should be dark and cold, and it should rain or maybe even snow! but in Spain the games are all played around 20.00-21.00 and therefore its night. of course the weather is always nice and warm because its in Spain but i think you now what i mean. i also think you should make some real international leagues and cups like the UEFA cup and specialy the CL(Champions League)! and none of the two teams who makes to the final should play at there own stadium. by the way! it would be nice if the UEFA cup - and the CL final where played in a specific country like in the real world. another thing there could be nice where if you improved the career-mode a bit. like more articels from the press, more youth talents, you could only manage clubs who offered you a contract(the better results you had with youre former club, the better clubs would be offering you a contract), and maybe sometimes players from other clubs(or there agents) would make an anouncement that they maybe just waited for exacly your club to make an offer for them, and when you try to buy a player there scholud also be competition from other clubs. and for gods sake im sorry to say this but im tired of not having any competition from my rival club. as a HUGE Real Madrid fan im always exited to play the big El Clasico against FC Barcelona. but when FCB is so bad as they are, im just not having any fun when i play that match as i could have. i can tell you this much, in all of my seasons with R. Madrid, FCB never came higher than 10. PLACE!!! and thats a same.and its the same in the internasional leagues. i have seen clubs like Inter and Man U being kicked out against clubs like Fenerbache and Newcastle!!! and its just so boring to play a final against small (close to amateur-) clubs! please listen to my ideas specialy them around the career-mode, pleeeeeaaaaaaase i beg you! but anyways, thank you for making such a cool game im looking forward to FIFA08!

Oh yeah and show the players getting medals and lifting a cup after a cup win

The referee and linesmen should be seen on the pitch during matches, more celebrations, drop ball situations, temporarily injured players can return in the game, custom players can have official boots e.g. Nike. That's it thanks

the players can design their own boots, and fans can buy them from the fan shop, but you can't interfere with the design of the boots its up to the player

If the player wants to leave the club then you get a message or email saying and you can descide if they go or not.

at the end of the season and you want to stay as the same team, then you can descide to change thier kit or keep it the same

your manger level increases or decreases depending on the last season and the better the manger level, more top clubs want you.

if your manger level is over 5 then you get to manger a country to enter in world cup or euro depending on the mangers level, the higher the level then you can manage top clubs like england or brazil ect but your mangers level has to be over 7

there is other mangers to compete against, and you get news that a manger has taken over a new club, so for every single team there is a manger and they improve just like you, there level increases or decreases.

some teams can head hunt down and want you to mange them

some sponsers want to sponser you and you can choose if you want them or not

when you get sponsered by someone then it shows up on the shirt

after a season or during a season and you have enough money you can by new land and build a new stadium or upgrade or old one, if you don't have enough money then you can get a loan

if some of your players want to leave the club then they can, if you let them
and they might want to go one loan,players don't always like you or the club

in transfer season you can go and look for new players and see them play a game, and if you don't want to see them play then you can choose to look at there stats

keepers are not stupid

when you use keeper cherge and don't stand there for a minute then dive for the ball they grab it straight away

keepers can get injured

if it is a goal kick and you take a long time then it should be a penalty but you get a certain amout of time before the ref blows the wistle for a fowl, and when you catch the ball and you keep runing towards th end of the area it doesn't stop automaticly like it does in fifa 07 you just keep on going and if you pass the area it is a free kick

players can get injured in training

you can improve your players in training

when a team wants to buy one of your players and they have put in a offer, of the next couple of games they are not allowed to play until the deal has closed or is canceled

the top teams of the leagues are harder to beat then the average teams and the easy teams are eaiser

you get more than one bid for a player, say you want another player and a another manager wants him

you can have pay roll but if you get caught then you lose points or you get a fine, but the charge is always different, or you lose more or less points than last time.

fans are better, if you are away it is harder to beat the other team because the oppisite team play better because of the fan support

some player dive automacticly and sometimes get away with and get a yellow card and that teams fans stick up for that player by shouting at the ref its a freekick or penalty and the other teams fan boo and shouter diver and take the mick and sing songs about him

league two picthes are not as good as league one and the championship pitches are not as good as the premiership

other teams can upgrade there stadiums or build new ones

if the other team doesn't like a player of yours or they get annoyed then sometimes they will take him out

you can create new match balls but it costs you money

you can go scouting for other players and watch them play

you can create a tour for your stadium for the fans and you can charge as much as you want to get you more money

when you win a trophy instead of it showing the trophy, you get a picture of your squad with the trophy and right after the match you watch your team lift the trophy

when you go to pick or get chosen to mange a club it tells you what league they are in

during a season you should be able to look at the league table for any league

celtic park and ibrox please...just look how good both stadiums are celtic park hold 60+ and ibrox is a 4 star stadium and is on the euro list for uefa cup
and i would like to see better singing from the fans you cnat hear what their singing on fifa 06 they just mumble and there is only about 5 songs and celtic shouls sing youll never walk alone like the do so well

the audience! when i play fifa my the first i look at is of course the gameplay and the graphics. but i think that will come in time, because it improves every year! but i also wanna feel the rush when i score a vital goal. like a goal in the last second of the game, or a goal against the toprivals or a goal in a final! maybe when the players celebrate their goals you could make a "scene" of celebrating fans screaming the players name and almost fight with each other, to come down to the pitch and kiss the player of joy! or when a very popular player sitting on the bench and they wanna see him on the pitch they maybe sing a song with his name in it or something like that! hope you at least will consider my ideas, and good luck with the game im looking forward to it!

is it possible for you to join another team as manager at the stage of the season you agree terms rather than at the begining of the next season,
and more flexibility in the kit design mode, although very good if you had more of an in put in the design or size of badge for instance, or sponsor name.

The Passing/Shooting system should be exactly how FIFA soccer 2002 had it on the PS2. Also, remove the levels of pass assist.

Plus, for the first time up to date transfers and player attributes.

Also more future stars. And big teams should really be strong.

Legendary is the easiest and I'm African. How about that.

Holland and Ghana are missing.

Editable countries and leagues (or creatable league).

if your manager gets so good in Career mode you should be asked to be international manager!

please add more depth to the game as the season mode it the same as all the other fifas and you need to play around a little with grafics. the commentators never say the goalkeppers names. more leagues. the edit mode could be better so you can change the kits and plz add the thrird kits as teams now have 3 kits. and most of the players all look alike. these are things that could be easly changed.

I'm a die hard Fifa fan, though EA sports anoys me cos they leave a lot out. I've tried PES, W11 and even TIS. But there's none like Fifa. Yet Fifa lacks a lot. These are my opinions-

About a seven week transfer period before the start of a season.

Training mode in manager mode.

Visible match officials during game-play.

Visible trophies.

Base copy mode when creating a team (to be able to copy existing teams and alter them).

World club cup in manager mode.

Fifa calendar Should'nt interupt club matches (it never does. Only on fifa 07).

Real kits and boots (from nike, adidas, puma, reebok, etc) during team and player creation. Option to choose wheather a player's shirt should be untucked (permanently or during a match or not at all). Should apply to Wii version as well.

Player of the year, man of the match, top scorer in separate competitions, over-all top scorer, plus ability to monitor happenings in other leagues (detailed).

Pre-season matches (optional).


Basically, fifa 08 should have all that PES W11 has and more (Depth in graphics, customization, player emotions, etc). I dont understand why EA Sports leaves these things out.

i think at half time you should have someone talikng about the game as if it is a life game you avtually see them speaking them speaking in the studio

i am a celtic fan through ad through and i as veer disapointed when i found out that i could not play the scottish legue ith celtc and tha you could not play th biggest derby in world football which is th old firm derby. i would also like to play eureopean games in the Champions legue and Uefa Cup in manger mode. AND i was very disapoinnted when picking international teams such as holland and japan the real players werent even there. So please can u introduce the scottish legue because i was very disapointed with Fifa 07 on the Xb360 and i buy it every year and i was dissapointed with this years one and if FiFa 08 i will probly not buy it at all i meat spend my money on games such as pro evo

I think that there should be classic leagues and players like pele', maradonna and Weah(Ive only heard of him on 99 GWEAH!)
There should also be the club world cup.
It would also be good to be able to coach international teams in manager as a part time thing with friendlies and the world cup.

I think you should have many more leagues in FIFA 08 for xbox 360 because the fun of manager mode is taking a bottom league team and bringing them through the divisions and possibly becoming euro champions. You should also be able to manage national sides. Better outcomes of Scouting would be good as I have had the same player 3 times just with different stats. So overall for 360 its needs more teams and improved manager mode.

Why?Because CSKA Sofia The Best Team In Bulgaria are defeated European Champions Cup WInner - Liverpool,Ajax,Bayern Munchen,Inter Milano,Juventus and many others.1964/65 -semi-finalist in ECC and 1981/82 -again semi-finalist in ECC.Levski Sofia was in Group Stage in Champions League 2006/07.Last Year Three bulgarian teams was in Group Stage of UEFA Cup and Levski Sofia was on quater-final.Bulgarian Teams are better from Danish and Sweden teams which are in FIFA 07.Please add Bulgarian League in FIFA 08.

My suggestions for fifa '08:

- Training mode in the coach menu, so you can learn your team some tricks or experience.
- Schwalbe should be enabled
- You should be able to tackle the keeper
- realistic public
- realistic players
- More challenges for a coach, like the questions from the media, easier to get fired as coach.
- Warming up for players
- better dutch comments
- public should make more noises like singing songs etc
- When an injury appears the medic team should show up.
- players can fight during a match
- Scout should bring back some video's from the player he scouted, so you can decide if he's good for the team.
- Contract discussions

- Improved spectators, wearing team colors and their cheering and booing having an effect on the teams playing
- Celebrations ... receiving Cup, medals,etc
- Champions League, FA Cup licensing instead of having a separate game for CL
- Wearing gloves, etc in cold weather and vapour from the mouths players in cutscenes in cold weather matches
- PLEASE include Holland as a national side
- Some better branded football boots on players
- VERY IMPORTANT ... Editable formations like how PES and W11 have
- The backheel pass must be made more common instead of players turning around and passing
