Your Ideas for FIFA 08

I think that players shouldn't extend or renew their contracts after they expire if their morale is too low.

(what i think is) the most important improvement you could make is the "kit-change" from season to season in the career-mode!!! i have already written down some things, but here is some more: every time a season is over, you should be able to change the kits a little bit like the color. im HUGE fan of real madrid so lets take their kits as an example. the 06/07-kits are mostly white but there a also some grey stripes down the sides and around the neckand down the arms there are black stripes(you now the normal "adidas-stripes"). but on the new kits, they are going to wear in the 07/08 season, the color of the stripes, down the sides, down the arms and around the neck has changed from grey and black to some kind of light purple color (very cool i think), and the necks cut has changed. small details like that is actualy all there needs to make a new, and cool, kit every season. a more unessesary(cant remember how its spelled), but very cool, thing is the sponsors! if there could be a selection of sponsors like: bwin, emirates, vodaphone, unicef or siemens it would be so cool. then, in the "kitchange-mode" (there would come up at every seasonending), you could choose if you wanted to play with or without the sponsor on your kit. like barcelona. this season was the first season, they played with their sponsor (unicef) on their kits, in 15 years or something. thats all for now and i really hope that this would be in the game, because that would help to make every season(in the career-mode) a bit different, plus it would be a lot more realistic and the more realistic the better, i think!!! SO PLEEEAAASEE LISTEN TO THIS MESSAGE, IT WOULD JUST BE SO COOL WITH THE "KITCHANGE"!!! CANT WAIT TO YOUR NEXT GAME!!!!!!

Have players who get injured on the pitch get taken off on a stretcher if serious enough and paramedics

you should be able to tackle the goalkeeper and beat him to the ball iun the air and on the ground

I think fifa 08 should include a mode were you make youre own player and guide him trough his career. For example start off his carrer in a low club and keep on making him better until he reaches a high club and even be called to play for his International home team.

everything in fifa is great but i prefere more teams from the americans leagues

i thnk you should make characters faces and hair more realistic for example in real life memo ochoas hair looks curly but in the game it looks like straight hair that a girl might have

i think you should have a game type where you can create your own player and show how he makes his way to the top in the big leagues

i think it would be a great idea in manager mode to allow the coaches and players to play with the national teams instead of simulating the matches

i would like there to be ledgends teams from different eras. by this i mean a 1950s team,1960s and so on. also if there was like europe all stars and america allstars etc

ADD THE BRAZILIAN A LEAGUE, and if you have time add the mls. also i wich i could start a tournament or cup run at will. In fifa 07 (on Xbox 360) you can only compete for cups in during your season.

i think that on fifa 08 you shoul let there be lowe league stadiums such as the den and hillsbourogh and many more...

two things:
1. last year i was very disaponted because millwall fc sponcer oppida was not on the kit i was very disapointed by this because it made it look like i made the team.
2. you should give the leagues and cups the real names because the game is called (fifa) you know cups such as the fa cup and carling cup ect.

It would be great to have custom formations where you use the analog stick to positions each individual player.

Transfers would also be improved if your could include player swaps where you can put in a "swap" bid for a player the same way as you would buy or loan them. For example, if I was in manager mode as Arsenal I could open up the transfer market and put in a "swap" bid (the same way as you would select "loan" or "buy") for Quaresma from Porto and offer Gilberto silva. If they refuse they would ask for a specific player of their choice from your team or request a small fee (such as £5 million) included in the deal, or just simply refuse the bid.

If this was included it would make manager mode more realistic.

I think that you should include more national teams in fifa 08.

i think that on manager made when you click on player profile the former teams that player has played for shouls cum up for exsample: i can make a player play for all the big clubs so that when you click on player profile the player will have played for big teams this should make the players value go up.

I am a millwall fan so when i play manager mode i start of as millwall and make them the best team by winning all the cups and leagues so when i am rated 10 as a manager you should be aloud to manage international teams if you want to.

I think there should be more leagues such as the nationwide confrence and many more. Also you should include the fifa world cup instead of the international cup and should have the proper cup.

I think that on manager mode after every season you should be aloud to create a new kit. You should be aloud to choose what design your kit should be made of eg. nike, umbro or addidas. You should be aloud to choose your own sponser to go on your teams shirts.

Goal keepers should be ejected from a game when fouling on one on one occasions.
More control of goal keepers.
More skill tricks
pele and maradonna should be in the game
Stadiums should be more vivid

superstar mode- start in an academy, work your way up to big clubs like man u or chelsea

I think it would be great if (well its a bit far-fetched but) somehow you could provide a download of the latest squads whenever a plaer transfers after the game is released. You would then download it for free via youre pc and load it to disk and put it in your'e PS2 and it updates the squads.

OR once the game is released and some players transfer clubs, you could put a squad update feature in the disk that comes with the "Official playstation 2 magazine" that updates the squads. Thanks

I think if you could play a personialised player career, playing matches in a 3rd person view. The teams and clubs should be the same and a choiceof being a manageand player should also be allowed .

My second idea is or the crowedto be improved and so should the stands look like they should an you can construt shem youself.

make the goalkeepers smarter, and make the replays better for example you score a great goal but on the replays it kinda kills it. There sould also be a feature when the opponent shoots you should be able to switch to the goalkeeper and buttons will appear on the screen and you have to press them and if you do good the keeper will block it if you do bad he might throw himself the wrong way or if you got like half of the buttons he will like hit the ball and cause a corner or something

1. Put the national team of the Netherlands in it
2. Show the refferee in standard play (you only see him when he's giving a card or so)

4. Easier making a custom player

i think that fifa 08 should have a football manager type manager mode as this will and a sense of authenticity to the game (however make it so you can still play rather than watching little circles with numbers running about as this gets tedious and boring)

Hey there, i have owned and loved every fifa from 96 and will never turn to pro evo as long as i live lol.
I have recently purchased a '360' from a 'PS2' and where as i prefered the graphics etc i missed the ability to use skills even the simple ones like the under foot roll and the double drag back, i think that these skills plus some more complicated ones would be great to see on the new fifa on all consoles!!
I agree that there could be more detail put into the game such as others have mentioned like players warming up on the side lines and when players get sent off and something at half time and the end of the match.
I would also like the currency for transfer fees to go back to actual Sterling instead of points etc.
Also some more realistic ways to score goals, like having to slide and dink the ball past the keeper and i would love more than anything for you to put the nutmeg onto the game i dont know how it would be done but somehow it to be a trick not just something that happensjust by luck and you hardly realise it!!

I think it would be great if the crowd boo's everytime a former player touches the ball. i.e. when chelsea play arsenal and ashley cole touches the ball the arsenal fans boo at him or thierry henry at barcelona, or john terry against west ham. The list in endless but it would add a nice touch of authenticity. I cannot wait for this new game to come out. FIFA 08 PISSES ALL OVER DIRTY PES

I got a few ideas that I'd love to see in FIFA 08, although I'm sure it will be a great game regardless since the FIFA series has never disappointed me.
1) Goalkeepers should be allowed to take free kicks and penalty kicks. A lot of goalies in real life do it (Rogerio Ceni and Chilavert come to mind here), so why not allow it in the game?
2) One of my favorite additions to the last two FIFA games was the Classic XI and the legendary players. It was awesome being able to play as and against Beckenbauer, Rivera, Zico, Cantona, etc. So why not include even more historic players this time? Even better, you guys could have unlockable legendary teams, like 1970 Brazil or 1974 Holland.
3) More national sides, like Holland, South Africa, Japan, Peru, Saudi Arabia, etc. Actually, whatever happened to Senegal? They went missing after FIFA 04 (or was it 05?).

Goalkeeper AI...the amount of times the keeper makes a save and the ball bounces back out to the opposition is crazy, also, i find that 90% of the time the only way to get a clean sheet in Fifa 07 is to not let the other team shoot!, Keepers tend to just...fall over and are the biggest waste of money in '07, they're all the same...s***.
Every fifa game seems to have one or two completely ridiculous features in it, like the amount of bids you get for transfers, very annonying when you cant even put a player on the transfer list because you "dont have enough bids"...totally unrealistic/pointless basically
Midfield play...WAY too easy to just run through midfield

u should let mangers like at the highest mark on the game to be offered an international team manger job for example mange england and others when they like are at a high level and at a high rank of the game as thatll make it more interesting and more talking with the messages so its like real all day situation of a manger and the game play could be a bit better but not much

Fifa 07 was the best fifa i can remember but i tought that some players were miles over-rated while others eg. Shay Givin were a bit under-rated. Overall i'd just like to see quicker responses and more fluid play to mirror pro evo a little more. Fifa 07 was the first in the seires that made me question my pro evo obsession but i still stuck with it but with just these one or two changes i'll be first in line for Fifa 08.

no disrespect but fifa on ps2 was miles better than the 360 version, take that into account. also include some decent hairstyles, like a shaved head but not bald. i think everything else i have to say has been covered.

I think you should rate players more accurately...
e.g. Gerrard and Kaka are both better than Lampard?!
the off-side rule needs more developing aswell

I also would like to say that FIFA 08 should have the legends that we know of such as Pele, Maradonna and Peter Schemichael. From what I remember, Peter was a great keeper.
