Your Ideas for FIFA 08

Hey guys. Theres a lot i would like to see change, but i'll give you my number one. This is on the PS2 by the way.

Atmosphere. I cannot stress that enough. I love what you did with possession changes and the crowd reacting to that in 07. But work off of that more. And there are never any flags or colors in the crowd. That needs to happen. Plenty more chants for teams. And the crowd needs to react physically when a goal is scored.

incluyed in the manager modo the selections nationals and the Mundial. Please.

1) I think there should be a league creator. So i can create teams and players for each of these teams and then play them in a league. it would also be good if you could allow this in manager mode so my league could interact with competitions like the Champions League and UEFA Cup. So basically it would be like playing a season with inter milan but you create the teams in it, the number of teams in it, the league cup etc.
2) Better club creator with more realistic kits that shows club logo, manufacturer logo (eg nike) and sponsor on shirt. This should also include a stadium creator in it and namie it.
3) more stadiums and stadium names shown
4) better commentating like talking about crowds( eg numbers of them, which are noisier etc.) talk about the stadium and better build up commentary.
5) in manager mode in statistics it should be possible to see all other leagues to see how other teams are doing and if it is a good idea to move club.
6) more realistic finances eg. i played a couple of seasons with hartlepool united and got them to the chamionship but i did not get any significant increase of finance as i moved up the table and got no money for winning any of the leagues. for example the championship play off is worth £60m but when i played in this i didnt get any money for winning it.

I like it when a game is VERY REALISTIC, so it would be nice if the game would be more realistic, like supporters that start to fight, a player that shout at the ref. maybe real coaches, that they shout at the players... and the heads, more real heads, that is much nicer than standard heads, because somethimes, it does not match with the player.

Okay a few things that I personally feel could be added or adjusted in the new version.

1) More advanced keeper AI. I hate it so much when a shot might be going over the bar but the keeper just jumps up in the spot hes in. Even if hes miles away. More rushing too. Keeper just stands on the line most of the time in one on ones when he could come out and put pressure on the striker.

2) Manager Mode - Having like 3 games in 6 days. Come on, seriously.

3) Improved celebrations, include near the crowd or something.

4) CROWD - Make their voices louder and clearer, with more songs and passion. Hate playing when its just quiet or one song over and over again.

5) Injurys could be more realistic. They get a broken leg or foot and they stay on pitch. Go off for treatment maybe and then come back on if they can. Also, they could receive knocks like head injurys when going up for headers. Wouldn't make it too common though as it would be very frustrating.

6) Midfield need mores impact on games. It seems to just be dominated in offensive areas.

7) Actually seeing the managers or some.

8) Improved commentary. After every hour of gaming I seem to hear same things being said.

9) More In-Depth Transfers!
- Going out on loan - Can they be recalled.
- More terms in contracts.
- More reasons why they won't join club or why they want to leave.

10) PLAYERS GIVE REASONS WHY THERE MORALE IS LOW OR AT 0.

I've heard a lot of people suggest that there should be some kind of ankle strap for the WII version of the product. I actually think that's an INCREDIBLE idea - and - as a business person - could also be used to generate incremental revenue for your company. Now that's a WIN-WIN on the WII for everyone! This game will STINK (as would an other foot-related game) unless the feet can be incorporated in to the play of the game. I loved FIFA 07 for Xbox 360. Hopefully the tradition will continue w/ the WII.

i think you should make the actual stadiums for the clubs and make them on how they look for example old trafford it has corners in real life but in the game its the old one.

when you score a goal in the game it should show your manager jump up cheering with the coaches .

-stadium creator for created clubs and more sponsers and the sponser you pick goes on the shirt on the created team

1) Bring back indoor 5 or 6 a side games and leagues.

2) Be able to play Reserve teams and reserve leagues in career/manager options

3) Sort out player AI, often my own players tackle each other, particularily when i am trying to sort out which player i am controlling

4) Player switching is not intelligent, needs to be better.

5) Free kicks are difficult to takemanage, they seem random

6) There is not enough tricks/ball skills available to players.

7) It seems that the harder the level (Wolrd Class) the less capable my players are at doing simple things. It doesnt getting harder, it just gets more random.

8) 90% of the time, slide tackling results in a foul, this is not realsitic.

9) Develop a potentially unlimited online league system for online gamers, which includes promotion, play offs, relegation etc...

10) Link up with EM Manager games on Xbox and PC, such as Fifa Manager, or idealy produce an all in one game so Fifa has a in depth Manager option

11) Able to change kits in game, as i often forget until the game kicks off!

12) Have a Player Career option, where you control one player from a kid starting as a trainee in the youth team, and take him throught the reserves, to win a contract, and on to the first team and all the way up to getting a national call up and playing in the world cup! This could work well as part of a virtual community online where everyone plays as an individual player.
This could be combined with the Manager mode so you could have two games in one at the same time.

13) link up with Sky/BBC/ITV so you can use their Logos/Music etc... to make the look of the game more realistic.

14) Please add effects like Snow, Rain, Frost etc...

Come on EA, no matter what people say Fifa game is far better than the PES range, but with the Xbox 360 you have the potential to blow Konami out of the water. please make the changes that matter and not just the easy ones that you have given into over the past few years. (apart from Fifa 2003, i think Fifa has got worse year on year, OK the it looks much better, but the feel of the game has gone downhill).

I have noticed through reading the multiple suggestions regarding the fan base. I think it would be a great idea to have the clubs (and international teams) have a region fan base. For example Olympiakos (Greek Football club) has a huge fan base (Gate 7) who use flares and huge banners, not only before and after but during. If you can create an interuption (example would be when the ball gets kicked off the pitch) have a camera focus on a specific area where there is fan activity happening-that would be awesome! A second suggestion, have the goalie lose energy. As much as the players lose energy and stamina, I have shot (and been shot against) multiple times leaving the goalie almost to full energy. This will make the game more "managerial" to focus on the whole team, not just attack,mid, and defense, but the whole package. Last I would like to see more tutorial's with explainations and practice modes. For example; "how to do a bicycle kick." & "The importance of having a great stadium manager".

the far shots are lame, you need to do it better

I THINK YOU SHOULD MAKE A SISTER GAME CALLED FA 08 WHICH focuses on the English leagues in much greated detail.
Include all the ACTUAL stadiums for the EPL, Football championship, league 1 and 2 teams and ALSO INCLUDE cthe conference, possibly even conference south and north.
You should also ADD TEAMS FUTURE STADIUMS AND PAST STADIUMS that you could buy in manager mode.
eg for Brighton & Hove Albion,in manager mode you start off with the tiny wihdean stadium, but you can take out a loan and buy FALMER STADIUM, possibly even the demolished GOLDSTONE GROUND.

Also try and include all the players in teams, personalise crowds, so Brighton and west brom crowds sing ALBION, ALBION!!! Also players with special goal celebrations such as BAS SAVAGE should do them in the game (IE SAVAGE DOES THE MOONWALK) Also when a team gets promoted to the EPL, the badge on the shirt changes from football league to EPL badge!

Overall i think the atmosphere should be improved ie ALL english clubs get thier original stadiums and crowds sing actual personal club songs! (+if chesterfield r relegated and you play a team on last day that is going down with them, the fans start singing YOUR GOING DOWN WITH THE CHEATS!!!)

Show the manager emotions. Show the crowd after goals more often, and better chants and noises. During european and rival matches, maybe sparkes of fights. Commentators comment of the crowd. More referees.
Players shirts and hair move, and sweat, more 'player cam' where the camera watches star players, during match intervals, to show emotions. And build more tension into the games.
One last thing, maybe a TV show, where the gamer can watch short highlights of their own match and others. The show could have panelists and anaylsists, which point out good and bad points.

Oh another idea. There's one thing on Fifa07 that I really really really really hate. The team plays 2 matches on the same day (usually english cup and legue game). They don't in real life they get out of energy and then i loose nearly every match. Also sometimes in real life you play a legue game on Sunday or maybe even Monday so do not put all of them on Saturday.

(PC) You should be allowed to have more than 30 players transfers should be better when a player wants to leave he can players have a decision what number and whether they want to stay at the club and if they are intrested in a move like a mini sky sports he is intrested best player of the year

once you get hooked to the game there should be things to spice it up i play 20 in one day on the weekdays sometimes and its the same

You should make fifa so much better than people dont need to make patches and downloads like shoes and footballs

fifa should be more realistic fabregas and C ronaldo dont look real

Cup Matches
Like match of the Day Live and ITV, have the scores of other games being played come up and be shown of what the table looks like (Whos at top) Like i said earlier with commentry, you can have the commentators saying whos going through and who needs to score to go through.

I would like to see the Australian A-League. But more importantly, I would like EA to fix the calendar problems I keep on having where they frequently double-book days so I get stuck playing a Premier League game on the same day as a cup match, and then play another game the next day and fatigue my players!

1) when your playin against top clubs like chelsea, make them harder to beat rather than just the same as the others.

2)more players need detail like carrick,vidic,iniesta,huntelaar etc.

3)in the transfer market make it realistic rather than bein able 2 buy like top players for hardly out

4)in the competitions like ecc make a top goalscorer chart so you can see who has scored the most

5)fans need 2 be realistic

6)be able to see how other players are doin in different leagues

hey guys at fifa! i have been buying fifa games since fifa 04 and have always thought that fifa was the only good football game there was. this was still when i had a ps2 though , but last christmas i got a xbox 360 and bought fifa 07 with it. i thought fifa 07 was very dissapointing. the improvements i would like for the xbox 360 version are the following:1. i liked the freekick system in 04 which should be brought back but with the second man option and signatur run ups. 2.when creating your own player it would be good if u could select your own runnup. 3.when a player gets injured , that different sequenses would happen like a stretcher would come on to the pitch or those vehicles to drive them off. 4.that linesmen and referees were visible during play and would show hand signs and hold up flags when something would happen. 5.that skill moves were also avalible on the xbox 360 version. 6.that through ins, freekicks, corners and goal kicks could all be taken quickly . for example that when the ball goes out for a through in the player would run to the line , pick up the ball and then through it in to a selected player. 7.also being able to create your own team of stars. 8.creating a stadium and last bus not least being able to swap shirts at the end of a match with another player. thank you for reading this messege and hopefully you put this in the next fifa,

1 I cannot do any of the tricks, please make it easier. Also i can't make the ball spin on free-kicks 2 Make the ref's get decisions wrong as they never do on Fifa07 and they do in the real world. 3 See the managers in interviews and newpapers. 4 In the newspapers you only see the headline, it would be better to see the whole text. 5 Have a presentation night at the end of the season to give out awards such as PFA 6 Be able see the teams lift all the cups 7 Be able to play in World Cups and the international Eurpeon Cup plus the qualifiers 8 Have more injuries from banging heads and pulling muscles rather than just tackles. 9 If the tackles are really bad, have players being booed when they get the ball and add squabbles between not just the players but the managers too.

1 when the ball comes over the goal the fans try and catch it on fifa07 the ball just goes through them 2 There should be more international teams 3 After playing a few games you know how to get past the defence, make them defend better 4 The keepers never foul or get booked 5 You should be able to be infront of the keeper when taking a goal kick after a catch so iy deflects 5 The ref is INVISIBLE! Put him in the game 6 The commentry is boring, make them say stuff about the players and what their next fixtures will be EX: " Today it's Ryan Gigg's 400th appearance for Manchester United" and " Chelsea are hoping to catch up with Liverpool in the Premiership when they when the Kops at Stamford bridge next week". Also say the names of the lower league players such as Easter for Wycombe7 Be able to say where the European Games will be held and when it's your home country. Make them decide which teams will be in which group. 8 Be selected to be Manager of a country 9 In manager mode, be able to say how much the tickets wil be for the match rather than high, medium and low. 10 Be able to create your own stadium. 11 Have real stadiums for every single club. 12 On penelties the ball goes striaght over the bar when you move the anolog stick just a tiny bit this should be improved.

I definitely agree with others that being able to see stats of other leagues during manager mode would be helpful, particularly when shopping for a player or new team to manage. Also, it would be awesome if the crowd had more detail, home sides in the stadium with fans in team jerseys, flares, etc. And why is there no ref on the field or assistants on the sideline? Not to mention player benches...it'd be awesome for the occasional bench clearing if a player was fouled, or bickering managers.

A Wii specific request: use the classic controller or a Gamecube controller...I just don't think the motion controls would be all that beneficial.

And finally, please include online mode for all platforms!

Romanian leagues please or at least teams like Rapid, Steaua Bucharest, and Dynamo which have made it to the quarter finals of uefa cup a number of times. Also, more realistic physics (e.g. player physics, injuries, ball physics, keeper physics, collisions, etc.). And more realistic shooting. Players should not be able to score with their back turned to goal and then pull of some miracle shot without looking. More realistic stadium effects, including hometown chants, rival fans, pitch conditions. Also have different referee styles, some giving more penalties and others giving more advantages etc. Fifa is a great game but it has so much more potential.

I think would be a cool idea and wat mah friends think so too would be like in madden 07,the superstar mode.....but like if u cant choose jus one player like a forward or midfielder make it too be where u control the goalie the whole time and dats the only one u can control i think it would be pretty cool...and with all diz new gen platfforms wat would be the problem.. and when every fifa game comes out i go and reserve dem quik but wit a superstar mode i would be callin and calling to be the first to get it and indoor soccer would be awsome man i miss dat stadium from the fifa 98' world cup for nintendo 64 it was the shiit...awwready bro thanx for ur time check diz out..............and keep the MEXICAN LEAGUE ON THEIR THEY ARENT DAT GUD BUT DEY STILL POPULAR......

i know that EA doesn't care what i think but iv'e been playing FIFA for 14yrs.... I KNOW MY FIFA!!! Read this please.

1-Derby matches are the most passionate games. Fans in places like Greece, England, Itlay, Argentina get hospitalised in these matches.WHY? coz they would die for their team. .. soooo... Show some special attention to these games.. i.e not a commentator telling you it's a derby... but actually seeing massive flags in the crowds... seeing the stadium light up with FLARES after a goal, hearing the drums and the chants of the teams..i.e boos and whistles when the away team gets the ball and trhe oleys when the home team pass it around. FLARES ARE A MUST.

2- EA DO YOUR RESEARCH.I ask you, Where is the world's biggest derby game? Argentina maybe??? NOOOO . Believe it or not but it's in Istanbul, Turkey. Between youv'e guest it Galatasaray and Fenerbahce. Why is their not a league where the biggest derby in the world can be played. Why is the stadiums of these two teams not in the stadiums list. I know... youv'e put the Olympic Stadium in Istanbul but that place doesn't host anything important. FIFA 2003 had a perfect ALi SAMI YEN stadium. Why is it not there anymore....... FIFA please put the Turkish League back so we can play the biggest Derby.

3- Biggest Stadium in the world is in Iran..... don't know the name but that place holds 120,000 people..... Why would you not have the stadium that holds the most soccer fans in the world.

4- Football in thoery is about the FANS!!!! . Have fans that leave the stadium early when thier team is losing.. have the comentator tell us about this embarresment.... have the fans use FLARES before kick off and after a goal. Have the fans whistle or clap their team off the field.

5-The reviews about indoor is overwhelming... FIFA 1997 had it.. have it again.. even have beach soccer so we can see have the old greats like cantona.

6-Some international team jerseys are not original... KEEP THE JERSEYS AS THE REAL THING...

7-When in manager mode have it so the transfer system and club cah flow is more realistic and professional... let us have the option of having friendlies with teams of our choice before the league starts.

8- MORE LEAGUES--- Australian League , Turkish League, Greek League, ....etc.

9--Have the referees move thier arms and at times be in the way of the ball or the player.


There is a billion reviews here and i know that the chances that this gets looked at is rare but here i tried anyway. iv'e been playing fifa since 1994 when it was on sega megadrive... nowadays i play on pc... never missed a year and believe it's the ultimate football game.

I think you should slow the game down a little bit. I would also like to see smarter AI from team members. Too many times I am looking for someone to pass to and they are all running away from me. Some smaller leagues. Maybe Romanian, Chinese, etc.

please include Jalisco stadium, and before a classic match (CHIVAS VS america or CHIVAS VS atlas) the comentator, in this case Enrique Bermúdez, would said especial things. Put the snow weather back, please. Clasic teams like Barcelona dream team 1990-1994, Chivas campeonísimo 1956-1970. If I want to create a uniform, could have different sponsors options, for example: I want to create a new equipment for Chivas, it has reebok and I want to put Adidas or Nike in replace of reebok. Please put the southamerican leagues (brazilian, argentian, etc)Copa Sudamericana, Recopa Sudamericana, Copa Libertadores in original mode, not as "american club championship", add Maracaná, Morumbí, La Bombonera, El Monumental, Estadio Nacional de Chile, Monumental de Colo Colo, Mineirao, BUT SPECIALLY JALISCO STADIUM PLEEEEEASE, THE HOME OF THE GREATEST AND MOST POPULAR MEXICAN TEAM EVER: CLUB DEPORTIVO GUADALAJARA SOCIEDAD ANÓNIMA DE CAPITAL VARIABLE (CHIVAS) more concacaf leagues and stadiums, copa de campeones de concacaf. Please improve the atmosphere of the matches, and pay more atention with the special matches like a final, a derby, a clasic, the match where you can win the league, etc. Improve the crouds, if I am playing the argentian league put barras (la 12, los borrachos del tablón,etc.) and if I´m playing the brazilian league put torcidas, spanish: peñas, english: hooligans, mexican: barras and porras, original songs for example: "dale, dale, dale rebaño", "you´ll never walk alone", "cant del Barsa" (when the fans sing and in the previous moments of the match, when the players go to the field), the premier league himn when you play the Barclays Premier league, before the matches, champions league himn. Playing the Champions League final in a neutral stadium. Put cheats like a fire field or the crazy ball or the invisible wall, etc. Indor soccer. Oh I forgot something. why don't you have the international teams like Netherlands, Czech republic, Japan, Ivory Coast in FIFA 07? please put these teams in FIFA 08.

I think you should be able to make your own formation. Instead of having a number of formations you can pick through you should be able to make your own. I should be able to do anything I want with my team like in real life. Oh and please put Marco Materazzi in the game. Did you forget about him?

Well, my general ideas are this:
- Include international championships from other parts of the world (e.g. TOYOTA Libertadores, Sudamericana, Campeon de Campeones (Nothamerica), Asian Championship, African Championship, so on.
- Have the team's world championship with the winners of the mentionated championships.
- Create a bigger quantity of celebrations available for all players.
- Include training mode in the manager mode.

I think that's all, well, what I want to have are all the championships of the different clubs, mainly from México and Latinamerica

There is only two things that I really miss in fifa 07, and the first thing is, a wider selection of football leagues for xbox360. And the second thing is multiplayer ranked matches. If you could add these two things the game would be a masterpiece!

You should have the FIFA 08 game come in XBOX and Gamecube too. Not everyone can afford a new XBOX 360 or Wii.

i was very VERY! disapointed that fifa 07 did not have the scottish premiere league in it or even jus celtic and rangers who r 2 of the biggest clubs in the world and a team that was the first brittish team to win the european cup wasnt there realy anoyed alot of fifa players in scotland who turned to pro evo soccer but hopefully there will b more clubs and countrys in the new fifa and better player graphics for the celtic and rangers teams i will be staying faithfull to the fifa though and the new game engine is awsome!!

I would like to see better celebrations when a club wins a trophy, so like them drinking champagne, receiving the trophy and medals.

i would also like you to make the game more competative as im blackburn on fifa 07 on world class played 8 lost 2, draw 4, and won 2 and sum how im still second with chelsea bottom whats going on? make it harder or more competative please. Also include more stadiums e.g. white hart lane, update old trafford, etc.
