Your Wishlist for FIFA 11

FIFA 11 should be on Playstation 2. Also the referee should be on the pitch during normal gameplay. Not just during fouls.

Firstly - actually test the game fo bugs before it's released. i don't know how big the list is now, but there were over 100 reported bugs of varying severity when i last looked.

Anyway:

1: player form - good idea, but poorly implemented, even after the patch. the effects it has are good, but the way it flips from match to match is irritating. i had a green arrow go to an orange arrow because my left back had an average game

2: point-scoring system. following on from the defender comment - the way in which you score points (in all game modes. virtual pro, be a pro, kick off, manager mode etc.) benefits attacking players. it seems as though any time the ball is passed in your half, your defenders lose points for it, even if they're not (supposed to be) anywhere near it.

- also with regard to defenders - the game doesn't really understand the concept of attacking fullbacks. it's taken me since the game's release to get a system where the fullbacks push on and make overlapping runs, but even then they rarely get a good game because apparently it's their duty to stop every single pass within 30 yards of them.

3: the Pro Club Championship. great idea, but again, not brilliantly implemented. you don't really get an idea of where your club is in the general scheme of things because there are so many. perhaps splitting it into leagues of about 20 clubs would solve this problem? that way you could also implement cross-league competitions, similar to the Champions League and Europa League (or even a proper club world cup, not that crap they have in real life)

At this point i'd like to address the point raised earlier about not adding too much because the 360 can't handle it. simple solution - produce it on 2 discs for the 360, and they must be installed to the HDD to play. might be more expensive but it'd make for a better game and account for the inferority of the 360s disc technology. moving on...

4: expand the virtual pro/be a pro thing offline. Be a Pro was a novel idea but it was, and is, far too repetetive. personally i think you could even make a whole new Football RPG based on this concept, but for the purposes of keeping it included with the standard FIFA - introduce more decision making. have interviews for your player regarding potential transfers, what's going on in the dressing room, what do you think of the manager etc. if possible i think it'd be great to be able to walk around the stadium (or at least from pitch to dressing room, or to the manager's office) and training ground. training could be implemented itself as a way of trying to get a place in the team.

- also, the ladder system that potentially allows a 17 year old nobody to become captain ahead of Ferdinand, Terry, Giggs, Gerrard etc. etc. is a bit ridiculous. Captain should be a side ladder once a player reaches a certain age and achieves a certain level in the mental skill category.

- do something about the camera. not sure what, but whilst the current systems are adequate, none of them are brilliant.

- implement some form of temper/stress meter in matches. if decisions are going against you, you're having a bad game, you're being pushed around etc. then the meter will go up, increasing the chance that you'll react aggressively towards the referee and thus get booked for it.

5. just generally make it less obvious when the game attempts to create a 'realistic' bad performance by your team. the games where passes never reach their player, or the player for some reason runs past the ball, are ridiculous. i agree with the concept, but it's really poorly done.

6: more variation, especially for Virtual Pro. there are no really special players (no offence to anyone, i didn't mean there are no good players, just that there is nothing unique about anyone) who are particularly good in one field. Also, the idea that tall players are naturally good at jumping but also slow, with poor reactions and acceleration is scientifically flawed. Look at Ronaldo, Torres and the like who combine strength with pace and skill in the air. i'm pretty fast and pretty strong, with a good eye for a pass and a powerful shot. however, i'm inconsistent, my shot accuracy is appauling, i can't slide tackle, can't jump or get a header on target, i'm not a technically skillfull dribbler and i'm not the most agile person in the world. that's an impossible makeup to recreate for your virtual pro, which was supposed to be putting yourself in the game.

- i think a better system would be that you choose your basic physique as normal, which maybe has a slight effect for example if you're very heavy then you're not going to be knocked off the ball but you're not going to be very quick on the turn either, but then choose 3 areas that you really specialise in, and then 5 that you're ok with, then 3 that you're not so good in. as your pro grows, these chosen attributes recieve bigger and smaller changes respectively

6: again for Virtual Pro, this time the pro club championship. we don't need 90 seconds to choose positions. at most i'd say 30. that means that you won't get those annoying, selfish, arrogant prats who refuse to pick a position if someone has picked the one (striker) they want. they then wait sometimes for the full allotted time until either the game starts or someone gets impatient and quits. sometimes they wait until impatient people start flashing between ready and unready in frustration, then jump in whilst the person is unready. this HAS to be stopped for the next installment.

- also, if there's any way to stop EVERYONE flooding forward, regardless of their position, whilst also perhaps making positioning more flexible to allow for intelligent runs...that'd be good.

7: Be a Pro/Virtual Pro offline again - start your career in a random (probably made up) youth team, then get scouted (if you're good enough) by a club. would make it more interesting and realistic

8: more complete youth/reserve teams, especially for the top clubs. No Petrucci for United?

9: first touch still needs to be addressed. for some reason there are still stupidly big touches, even when players have a good ball control level.

10: manager mode - i was under the impression the league table was supposed to have a more realistic look? in the 2nd season the top four was made up of West Ham, Aston Villa, Arsenal and Manchester City, with Chelsea in 8th, United in 11th and Liverpool in 12th. with the exception of the latter, the big clubs have the finances and the infrastructure to ensure that they remain at the very top for a very long time, signing all the best players (not 30 year old central midfielders with an overall of 77 - Romaric to United was one example).

- also in manager mode, there should be more interviews, with more variation. being asked about the future of players for example.

- following on from my first point about bugs - either fix the assistant manager, or get rid of him completely. seems to tinker with my team every now and then even when he's switched off.

- perhaps if you want to start with a bigger club, you should at least be given the option to start as Reserve team manager

that's 10 of many, but the rest are small and i can't be bothered to list any more.

Why is Mestalla not in the game? It was in fifa 09, and Delle Alpi, which is not even used by any team anymore, is still in teh game. And put even more stadions in, like white hart lane, sanchez pizjuan, the 3 big portugese stadiums, Parken Stadium, and the national stadiums of other european teams like Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland....

Then add the russian, ukrainian, rumanian, greek and argentine 1. leagues, a lot of good players in those leagues..

then it would be cool if there was an opportunity in the scouting named "Your own country", so you could scout for players with the same nationallity as your club... like if you are chelsea, you could have the opportunity of searching for ONLY englsh players, and of course if you want to, you can search in africa and the other continends

There are some world class national teams not existed in Fifa 2010, for example, Ivory Coast national team and the egyptian national team.
These two teams are the strongest and the most skillful teams in Africa, i think they should be existed in Fifa 11

i think it would be a great idea if on the arena you could invite your mates on xbox live and have a game of wembo (all v all) or even headers and volleys, also some more stasiums would be pretty cool too.

1. make after playing a game a interview with one of the players from a team.

example: the interview people askings some quetions about the game that he play with his team and the player give answers back, that we can choose out 4 phrases meanings what the player wil say and they keep asking quetions till its enough and the interview is done.

Hi my name is Mario I am huge FIFA fan from Cagliari played the games since 2000 and i tell you FIFA 10 was great game but there is some things i was not very happy off i don't why they could not get rights to add my home team Cagliari we are good tean do compete with Juventus Milan and Inter but we do end up in the top 8 along side with others like Palermo who i remeberd very well they where in the game until FIFA 08 i don't know how they done that why. ok i admit Serie A is gone a little a bit poor in the last few years but come on its my home leauge you will make my day if you get the full rights to Serie A and B because The German Leauge,Spannish,French & English with us the Italians we are the top leauges in europe please add this feature thank you email my scottish cousin [email protected] he wants to get a job at EA Canada and i am sure if you hire him he will do a good job thanks mario and forgive my English its a wee bit poor so Come on Serie A and B email him and you will get a Serie A and B party with us

People READ THIS BEFORE COMMENTING!!!!

You've all got some great ideas but...

1. There can't be more realistic faces because, since the game is multiplatform EA cannot add greater detail because then xbox won't be able to take so much amount of GB and it'll screw up for them.
2. International teams cannot be managed because it'll kill the concept of the World Cup games. (Started since 1998).
3. Stadiums for every team is not possible due to point number 1.
4. I'm not sexist at all but the womens league is pointless since only a few hundred or thousand watch it. Besides you'll all use Instant Replay on boobs anyway...
5. More leagues is also not possible due to point Number 1 aswell.

Although...

1. It would be nice to receive a wider range of boots.
2. A wider variety of celebrations with custom and skip celebration.
3. A few extra touches in realism to on-the-pitch play. For example...
(i) as mentioned earlier when a player receives a throw in, instead of the cut-scene he should go pick up the ball.
(ii) Same goes for corners, when the balls goes out player should walk or jog to corner flag and set the ball up.
4. Fans should be a bit realistic, maybe a sight of flares and roars...
5. Referee could do with some work, instead of running to the player to show a yellow, he should call the player over, during yellow cards there should be 1 or 2 players protesting, during Red cards around 10-12 players should crowd the ref...
6. A sight of Stretchers on the injury or maybe the medic team might help a player limp off and sit him at the sideline
7. Player warm-ups visible on sidelines as well as the fourth official.
8. Booing towards certain players.
9. Refer to the Int. as Champions League IF possible.
10. When players get subbed off i'd like a close up on the player going off like they do in real, then when the player coming off gives a high-10 or something to the player coming on, we focus more on the top half of the player coming on and as he runs on he points out directions.
11. Improved Goalkeeping, Faster more realistic reactions to shots after save.
12. More jockeying from opposition defenders, chance to use more skills and explore the variety of realism to come.
13. Ability to swap players on manager mode, Say you might want Nani at Arsenal, Arsenal instead of bidding money can say, we'll give you Eduardo for him... or something of the sort.
14. Rivalry levels, go from being 2 regular teams to end up having one of the greatest all time rivalrys, West Ham & Millwall? Fifa 10 makes it feel like a normal friendly, there's nothing friendly about those 2.
16. More wider range of commentators, the same 2 all the time gets boring, how about 20? 10 pairs of 2... It's decent and not a lot to ask for.
17. Crowds wearing their clubs merchandise, higher detail of crowd IF again possible.
18. Realistic podiums and celebrations after trophy wins, more newspaper headlines, and some more of what they had in 09, an aftermatch interview or situation.
19. Players going off on international duties during some weeks.
20. Scheduled training sessions.
21. Not too much foreign on the soundtracks either, none of it goes well with football.

Congratulations with Fifa 10, Let's hope the best for Fifa 11 and i'll keep posted on anymore ideas!

1. as im a fan of the fa cup (big teams playing small teams) it would nice to see lower leagues in the game. at least blue square conferance!
and some none laugue stadiums.

2. manage a national team in manager mode.

3. have world club championship added to manager mode seasons.

4. there is leagues from all continents except africa. maybe consider adding south african premier league to the game?

5. still no PELE, MARADONA, BOBBY CHARLTON etc where are these guys?

I think FIFA 10 is the best ever football game that I have played however I would like to see these changes in fifa 11:

1) The replays are pretty poor especially when someone fouls my player for example when hes done a skill. The camera just shows the player that fouled and I think it should show both players.
2) Crowds should be more reactive to the ingame events rather than doing their own thing as and when they please.
3) People who quit online matches in the last 15 minutes of the game or when they are losing by 3 goals or more should have some kind of punishment.
4) An International Cup should be introduced in manager mode.
5) Please introduce more commentators. I was sooo pleased in fifa 09 when you introduced clive tyldesly and andy townsend as i kno people would get bored of andy gray and martin tyler.
6) For the updates every wednesday I thinik players boots should be updated too so that they are wearing the ones they last used.

1. I'd to see more real stadiums espicially in the english premier league as there

2. Goalkeepers are still not realistic enough and would like to see improvements on
that.
3. I would like to see head to head ranked match trophies removed completely as I do
not like it, but am forced to play it only because I like to finish the game by collecting
all the trophy's. The trophy that I am referring to is the 'Win 100 classic head to head
online matches'. I do not mind the other online trophy's like 'Win 5 five head to head
matches in a row without losing' as I do not have to play alot but I definitely do not
want any head to head online trophy's that ask you to win 100 matches.
4. Continuing on from that, if you were to have it then, when your in a game,
somebody quits and you get the win but that win doesn't count towards the trophy
as the match must finish, which is really fustrating and would like to see it be fixed.
5. I also would like to more stronger stance on people quitting, it has been a problem
since fifa 08 and I would like to see strong punishment for people who quit as it
ruins the game for everybody which is a reason why I don't like playing head to head
online matches.
6. Would like to see undershirts as another option to edit real players which as your
virtual pro player you can select whether you would like them to wear an undershirt or
not but, it doesn't have that option for real players. I would also like to see not only
long sleeve undershirts but short sleeve and sleeveless as my fav player steven
gerrard wears all the time.
7. Would tlike to see a more variety in boots espicially with the nike boots and if new
boots come out during the season than they should put it on the playstation store for
people to download.
8. Would like to see stadium improvements for e,g Liverpool's stadium anfield, the
the goal and toachlines are too far away from the crowd but when you look at the
real stadium, its actually more closer so I would really like that to be fixed as I am
a big liverpool fan.
9. Would like to see as well improvments to player faces for e.g Steven Gerrard in fifa
10 looks nothing like him so I would like that to be changed.
10. And lastly when your team wins a trophy, the celebrations in fifa 10 are really lame
boring, you should include all of them on a podium, the captain lifting the trophy and
all the teammates around celebrating and well as fireworks and glitters around to
make it more authentic and real.

First i wanna say: fifa 10 is a very good game, i always play with a big smile its never boring me.
Because you all doing a good job for everybody to make them happy and all that is very good. VERY HAPPY ABOUT ALL THE PEOPLE THAT MAKES THE FIFA'S AND DOING A GOOD WORK AT IT. That i can see.

Now im going to say what can be ALSO good & new for next fifa 11 game.

This is for online & offline playing.

1. Make some differents commentators. Its now for me three fifa's games that i playd and its always the same two people(8,9 &10). Much more commentators for every match that plays

2.The crouwd much more realistic, and more yelling (bhoo), singin songs, more noises

3.About the sidelines: make the players SEEING warm up, see coach moving at the bench and screaming, talk, substitutes sitting at the bench & coach all ohter people.

4.The players on the field MORE protesting to the referee, and then that you can control your player to calm down or going angry when they make a minor offence. And that you can see when its gonna be yellow or red en that you not gonna try for a yellow or red card, but that you can protest to see how the referee responding to your behavior.
( i hope its not to much for asking, but i knowe you can make something of that EA SPORTS PEOPLE...

5. you can see the the man with the board up his head and show us the last extra minutes do we have left to play.

6.you can see when the substitude is standing on the sideline for to echange.

This is my wish list for fifa11. And i hope you have some nice ideas to think about all the 6 things on mij wish list, and hope you can give me a proud smile like the other fifa games did to me.

please keep practice mood and goalie being able to move and more. make it realistic. i also hope you can customize international teams. and make it look like real soccer. oh and in international team put transfer for them but the transfer can only be from players of that nationality.

Player confidence would be great, e.g. a striker hasnt scored for 5 games his finishing becaome worse until he breaks his duck :)

i think that most of the teams should have their own stadium, and dont make each stadium so much like the others. and Norwegian commentaries

-You should have the womens league
-You should be able to manage an international team in manager mode
-There should be individual player awards after every season in manager mode
-The smaller clubs like a-league teams and other teams should have there real home stadiums
-There should be more tournaments such as world cup and UEFA Champions League
-In Manager mode you should be able to manage the reserve team as well as the first team

put Cote d'Ivoire/ivory coast in the game cause there not in it like the international group

A pre game show where they show some statistics and replays from other games previous matches and the betting odds and predictions like what the have in madden

Make shooting more realistic. Like making the ball dip in the air. Not so much backspin please.
And please add more leagues. I know you are adding the russian, but please add other leagues ass well. The ukrainian, romanian.

Make it easier for very skilled players like ribery, robben, messi, kaka, c.ronaldo to go past other players on the field.

i would like to see the IFA Premiership (Northern Irish league) in.

1: put legendary players in their best performance-- like ronaldo 1997 zidane 2001 ronaldinho 2004 figo 2000.
2: put at least 3 special moves for players who win best player of the year in the last 10 years. like ronaldo r9 elastico , stepovers, chock and other ronaldo moves .
3: develope faces and hair to become natural.
4: put set peaces to organise whowill be in area when their is acorner or a foul.
5:you make agreat new moves can you develope them

in the game fifa instead of having a random stadium for the small clubs such as wigan you should make sure you have their proper stadiums because all the bigger clubs have their stadium so why dont we plz tell me why.

Fifa 10 was great but it still needs work. The gameplay was good but the presentation
and graphics were really disapointing. Half of the players in the game dont look like themselves, even big name players like Kaka and Ronaldinho dont look like themselves.

I would like fifa 11 to be on the Playstation 2.And if it makes it,they should make it as good as the playstation 3.

ok to start off fifa 11 should have the Russian Premier League included on the PS3 and Xbox 360 as the league was available for the PS2 and PSP wich was disappointing. I would like to see stadium packages in the fifa store instead of buying single stadiums that on top of the stadiums in the game you would have the option of buying a Clydesdale Premier League package as there are no Scottish football stadiums ever in fifa so you would get stadiums such as Hampden Park, Pittodrie, Celtic Park, Tannadice, Easter Road, Fir Park, Ibrox Stadium, Tynecastle and so on. I think this would be a good idea for other smaller leagues like Russian Premier League, Coca Cola Championship, Portuguese Liga, Belgian First Division, Eredivisie, Süper Lig, Ligue 1, Gambrinus liga aswell as giving all the club stadiums it should give the national stadium if its not in the game. I would like to see celebrations with cups won as its always the same with the team standing around its realy getting old. I think that with PES having both Champions League and Europa League fifa should start to compete for the official naming rights as having it in the game would take the game to a whole new level. thanx

i think there should be much more leagues like the conference

You should have every stadium on their so they can pick their favorite 1

the new fifa should have a refree mode were u can ref a match or season

In manager mode, it takes away from the feeling of being a successful manager when jerseys are the same each season so perhaps create/edit jersey should be integrated into manager mode. Also, when manager mode is completed(after 15 years), successful managers should be offered the national team job and have opportunity to maqnage national team in some way.

more tricks and I would like if he were to play the Champions League as it can play as. Manager mode and there you have League Cup and other things ;)
