Before I make a fw suggestions for Fifa ‘11 may I point out how brilliant I think Fifa ‘10 is? It’s by far the best football game I’ve ever played. It really is magnificent. Now I don’t think the game needs much adding to it to turn it from magnificent to mindblowing. It’s the smallest things, for me, that would add to this game to take it that further step.

The actual gameplay for me is fine and really doesn’t need tweaking much at all. Here are my ideas:-
1) UEFA Champions’ League and Europa League licence
Yes we are able to create our own tournaments, but this is the ULTIMATE club competition in Europe and most probably the world. It’s massive and it’s the competition that puts the best with the best. A few years ago EA Sports made a seperate Champions League game, so why not just buy the licence to the competition and stick it into Fifa ‘11? It’s the only club competition missing!!!! Just seeing your tram line up before kick off, hearing the Champions’ League theme tune blasting out on the tannoy would make the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end.
2) Have FULL season mode (This is a MUST for players like me)
Whenever you create and play a season, you are only able to select one tournament at a time. When you want to play the full season, like me and want to play in every competiton, the only way presently that you can do this is to create several different tournaments (i.e. premier league, league cup, f.a. cup, champs league) and then save one, come out of it, load up another tournament….It’s a bit of a ballache to be honest. It would be much more convenient and feel like a full season of you were able to play a full season with one club, but have all the tournaments running together as one kind of thing. One week you’re in the Premier League, the next a cup game, the week after back to the league etc etc you get the idea. Also you should be able to play a season year after year - so you could have liuke a 20 year ‘career’ at the club your in control of, but at the end of every season you have relegation and promotion, so the the following season will have new teams in it from the Championship. Presently we can only play one season at a time and no relegation/promotion happens, so it all gets a bit samey.
3) Incorporate the World Cup/Euro’s into the game - as well as giving us an option to play a full season, but with international games. So then one week you’re playing in the league, the week after playing a world cup qualifier and so on…Then at the end of the season is the big tournament itself. Would make playing a league ’season’ feel that much more real. Obviously not everyone would want to play every game in one season like that, but for those who do at the moment can’t!
4) Add more international teams - not a major issue, but if we’re gunna have our own world cups and what not in Fifa ‘11, then some more international teams would be nice.
5) Add player form and fitness into a season. At present if you’re playing a full league, after every match every players levels go back to normal and full again. The only exception is when players are injured. If you’re playing a full season, then players do get tired, players have dips/rises in form, but at present you can pretty much pick the same team for every game. Players that get picked every game should suffer in terms of fitness, so therefore you’d have to squad rotate (just like in real life) and rest players for certain games. Older players would take longer to recuperate, so if a 35+ year old has played 2-3 full games on the spin, then chances are they’ll need a rest, so show that in a fitness/fatigue attribute/bar. The ‘form’ idea should also go off how they are performing for you, week in week out. Say for instance a striker is having a lean spell, then their confidence should suffer, so when it comes to being in a 1-1 situation, they’re more likely to miss than score. Or on the other hand, if a striker is in blistering form, then their confidence would be sky high, so they would be more likely to take a tough chance if it came along. Same with say defenders. A defender could make for instance 2 high profile mistakes in as many games, which would lead to mistakes being more likely, confidence being low, tackles being more tentative etc etc you get the idea
6) We’ve never once seen a manager in a Fifa game - well if EA want to take this to the next level and be the ultimate in terms of realism, this is a must. Every now and then during the match their could be quick cut scenes to the bench - like after a goal you could see a reaction from one of the benches, or after a dubious refereeing decision, for instance you could see Fergie flying from the dugout to have a go. During a match, if the game is close, then you could see both managers giving instructions from their technical areas on the side of the pitch. Along with the managers, the subs should also be visible.
7) The subs should warm up on the side of the pitch. Maybe you could include an option where if you want a sub, you have to go into your team selection and get them to warm up first - once warmed up they can be substituted normally, but you can also bring them on without warming them up, but then this would mean when they come on, their more injury prone.
8) When it comes to injury time, there should be a cut scene (if the ball is out of play) or a small window at the top of the screen showing the 4th official holding up the board, displaying how many minutes are to be played.
9) Include more stadiums - every stadium included in Fifa ‘10 is impressive, but include more for Fifa ‘11 to make it more realistic. You could even give the option to players to download them for some Microsoft points - this wouldn’t please some, but for a small amount I reckon it’d be well worth it.
10) When it comes to the players coming onto the pitch, make sure they’re coming from the right area! For example at Old Trafford presently, the teams enter the middle of the pitch….I think you will find the tunnel is in the corner! It’s a very small touch, but another step towards ultimate realism….
11) I agree with a number of people here that when you’ve won a competition, you should have the presentation afterwards. Wouldn’t have to last long, just the team get together, the trophy being presented, the captain lifting the trophy, tickertape flying all over, players jumping up and down….
12) Why is it whenever you play at home you always kick off facing the same side?! How about at the start of the match having a toin coss, then you can decide whether you want to kick off, which side you want to start the match off in etc
13) I’m loving the new options in the training mode, but when it comes to a lesser game, i.e. 5 a side, how about giving us the option of playing half a pitch, thus creating more of a 5 a side feel? This isn’t that important, but it’s an idea.
14) There isn’t enough emphasis on last minute goals….If a last minute winner or even equaliser is made there should be mayhem! Crowd going even more wild than normal, the whole team running to the goal scorer, subs running off the bench etc etc
15) The crowd could do with being worked on….Doesn’t look brilliant and they have random movements sometimes! At away games, the section of the crowd that celebrates an away goal always seems to be like a whole stand. In real life the away fans would only have a small section, so minimise the movement in the crowd for an away goal! Also include more chants, exclusive for each club. Maybe even include downloads for each team for any new chants that come out - this could be hard to produce though I’m guessing, but it would be cool

And that’s all I can think if at the minute! I thought I had more, but I can’t remember them all! They are all really small things, as the main gameplay is awesome, but like I’ve said in my opinion the gameplay is awesome as it is, it just needs a few touches more adding to it in certain areas to give it that total realism.

i think on fifa 11 they should bring out another ultimate teambut the ultimate tea you got on fifa 10 should be able to be converted to fifa 11 rather than starting all over again and having to pay every time a new fifa comes out would make matters easier and cheaper for people

I have a idea for xbox360 online when you play Unranked at the option "Play with your friends" or "Custom Match". I always see people editing attributes of players, like one time I choose Chelsea and my opponent choose Barcelona..and Pique was running more than Drogba, more than A. Cole. This is ridiculous, they edit the attributes just to win most of the games and think this is fun. EA sports should prohibit this edit of attributes on Unranked match like they did on Ranked Match where you can't edit the players

Firstly i think transfer budgets should be the same that clubs really have e.g manchester city should have their £500 000 000 budget and also on the Classic XI team i think it should include platini, zidane and marradona

1 better goalkeepers! Always come out too early even when not ordered.
2 foul in the air/better hassles for headers/ someone running for a header and bumps the other player and fouls him for going in too hard
3 better presentation after winning cups.. Even showing the cup would be better!
4 create your own team. customizable crest and kit ect ? But has to start at the bottom league with low budget

I have a few ideas for FIFA. I think that manager mode should be more realistic e.g. transfers. Also i think that the crowd should be more realistic, by them singing when they are wining and a bit quiter when lossing. Also when a team is more dominant in play, creating all the chances, the crowd should cheer them on, gear them up. Also you should be able to pick to be an existing manager e.g. Alex Ferguson or a new manager in manager mode. Commentary should be better by talking about statictics of players and when there is a last minuite goal to win the game or draw, the commebtary should be more exicted and the fans should be more passionate about them scoring. I think that derby games or rival games should be intense as well e.g. the crowd should be singing before a the game, the players should be up for it or nervious, to do with competing with pressure. And also the commentary should be saying how big the game is. The celebrations should be more variable. When someone is celebrating, not just 1 player should celebrate, the team should celebrate in a huddle or something in that area. But if you have scored an important goal there should be emotion in the celbration.

Add in the 'City of Manchester Stadium' to Fifa 11!!!!

The idea to CREATE YOUR OWN CLUB with your own kit, badge, stadium etc is possibly a good idea. You should start at the bottom, be a WEALTHY BUSINESSMAN who is setting up a club in their local area, then either have a RANDOMLY SELECTED TEAM OF CUSTOM PLAYERS, or a TRANSFER BUDGET TO BUY A FULL SQUAD. Start in the LOWEST POSSIBLE LEAGUE AND BUILD it up, maybe even deal with the business side to the club but that might not go down well certain fans. I would like the custom club aspect in fifa 11 but curious and slighty scepticle as to how it could be done.

I dont like football, but I think the football games are great in this world - but they wont sell as much, I play Fifa at home believe it or not, and in manager mode, you get bored very quickly and its a waste of time, why not introduce new stuff, I really think that such as an xbox360, playstation 3's....they really are a powerful console since the normal playstation 2 and xbox on its own...why not bring Fifa to another level, listen to all these fans suggestions, because they know what they want in the football game! - Why not introduce qualifications, such as the Champions League theme tune, Europa Cup Theme tune, The FA Cup theme tune, The Carling cup theme tune, and realistic cup finals in what seems to happen in an everyday daily basis, make match day seem real, get to see fans filling up the stadium at the beginning, fans going mad in enjoyment or jeers - see fans leaving the stadium early if results are not going so well....feel the crisis of the clubs and the success of clubs...FIFA11 can be a really good dimension, and however you guys are doing, why not bring FIFA 11 out in the UK before it is released else where the beginning of August!

I would really like to see a "Create-a-player" option in FIFA 11

I think the lineup of teams that are in the current Fifa is a good group. However, i would love to see the Bosnian National Team in the game. They have a great team (they are rated 4 stars in the Fifa World Cup 2010 game) and it would increase the fan base of Fifa globally. Also, there needs to be more depth in the Be a Pro mode. I find myself bored sometimes in the game doing the same things over and over again. Maybe you can do some more personal things in Be a Pro, like maybe get a gf, buy a house, go out clubbing, etc. Also have maybe some team practices in Be a Pro. That is all I am looking for in Fifa 11.

add in new section in team magement you get to decde how many subs you want warming up.in the mian screan have a timer of how many munties have they warm up.

when a player is substituted it should show the goals if he has scored if he has scored any. also on manager mode you should be allowed to create a game figure for the manager and it should be shown in games on the side showing reaction to chances and decisons like sending offs and penalties.

i think in manager mode you should be able to have press confences and prepare training sessions for the players and call up some resevrs to the first teams and drop the players that are not playing well i think there should also be the finacial state of your team like they could go in to administration and get points deducted and you shoud be able to do more stuff with your team and you can leave your club to others trough the seasons .When you are playing online head to head match if they quit you should get points because they forfitted.the commentaters should be more realistic for example if there is a late goal they should go crazy and like when they reach the champions league there should be different commentaters and there should be the world cup every four seasons you should be offered the job for a country and manage them in the world cup

I hate when I am playing a regular online ranking game 1vs1 I am winning by 3 or 4 goals and the opponent quits at the last few minutes of the game, I love fifa, but if it wasn't for pro clubs championship online I would never play fifa10. Online version its the best you guys have created. I have an idea for when a person quits, let the computer take over, just like in Madden and let us finish the game. Please you need to you do something about this. I hate it so much and many of my friends are with me. If they quit just let them take the lost. For those little babies who quit. I always write them a nice message. Well I can't wait for fifa11 and the new bright improves you lads make each an every year. I will soon have my game reserved. I hope that in fifa11 we can fix this big problem about people quitting and the other player not getting the win. It kills me eveytime, that's why I stop playing the mode. Please let us see the guy signed holding the shirt, and champions league and Uefa Cup should be added, more celebrations, make your own team or club in manager mode, players report to you if they are not happy or want another club, atleast be able to negotiate with rival, show fans, make stadiums more realistic, add training in manager mode before next game

hi. just a few points that i could say. 1. i think they should have a bigger range of stadiums on fifa 11 eg. Elland Road, Hampden Park, Celtic Park, Stadium of Light ect. 2. i think they should also get rid of the bugs, like in manager mode where after 1 season you get a player with no name and also get rid of the bug which crashes the game after playing manager mode for 1/2 season. 3. get a bigger range of international teams eg more african teams and teams like slovakia.

Crowd certainly needs to be more realistic and to add more excitement. There also needs to be more frantic celebration when a goal is scored last minute/against a rival team. The crowd and atmosphere is central to a good football game.

In Manager Mode, European games MUST be played at night. More stadiums would be nice too. For Champions League it would be nice for it to actually feel more realistic and authentic rather than just a generic tournament. Commentary should relate to tournaments too. There should also be the possibility to choose whether you want to play the season fixtures as they are in the real world in Manager Mode - and teams that are actually in Champions League and Europa League for next season are actually in those tournaments, rather than just a random selection of teams. Injuries should be more realistic too, rather than just one or two here and there that are always just one week out.

Ok, maybe one more. I think the long shots feel a little guided. I know you can play manual but the ball floats a little too much. I’d like to see the ability to really strike one from distance and score a stunner without the ball feeling too light. Add a bit of weight to the ball please when shooting. PS3 and Xbox.

Final thing - I think! Two players should be allowed to play BAP Seasons. Me and my bro love the World Cup game for this and the Euro 2008 game was the same. Add this to FIFA - it would be awesome.

Another point - penalties only being given for slide tackles is ridiculous. There should be pens given for trips etc. Just add a little more realism. And slightly less magnetised posts please - the ball still hits the bar/post on a great number of occasions.

Also, having recently played FIFA 09 after playing FIFA 10 for ages - I think the goal nets on 09 were better and more realistic. Bring them back!!

Just improve the gameplay mechanics, graphics and other stuff i don't care if its going to be worse than consoles i want a bug free realistic game.

It would be ok, that while the journey, the appearence of the players can change like in the real life, and also more facial expressions during the match will be excelent.

fifa 10 is an amazing game, the overall gameplay has caught up and taken over pro evo. I have played every fifa game religiously since the mega drive version came out years ago. Anyway i love the way manager mode has developed and i think they've nearly cracked it, but there are a few creases i feel still need ironing out.... The formation player position editor is too small i dont know why they dont use the same screen used on the after match player ratings page, plus there should be an option in the formation editor to place a ball or marker anywhere on the pitch then be able to place your players in the position you want when the ball is in that area (like they used to have in sensible soccer). It would also be good to be able to put players where you want when defending a corner. I dont understand why if a player is man marking someone and he changes position your defender still marks him even if you turn the man marking off. Some of the commentary does need better ai, e.g even though i'd won everything with spurs and newcastle the commentators still do that whole speech about them not really winning everything, i'd like to hear about how i as a manager have taken the club to new hights etc. They are a few other niggly things that could be improved in this otherwise incredible game, BUT they main gripe for me (and it's something ea have never got right) is the celebrations after winning a trophy, for some reason on fifa 10 the trophy infront of your celebrating 6? Players is invisible. After hours of playing to get to a final and win i would love to be able to revel in a proper and realistic presentation ceromony where each player gets a medal and your captain lifts the cup to a massive cheer from fans and realistic comments from the commentators. There should also be a trophy presentation at the end of the match when you win the league. After all this is what it's all about. I love fifa and fifa 10 is an amazing game but with these improvements i think fifa 11 would be the ultimate.

i think the home screen layout shoul be like a sports news channel giving info on players and teams from other countries also teams should offer you jobs mid season if you get sacked or having a great season with your team say winning a cup or taking a poor team on a good cup run. Goal of the month should be added and you should be able to save great goals.

There needs to be online team play. I mean you and your friend can play on the same team against two other people without having to be in the same room. Every year I expect this feature and every year I am dissapointed. The $10 con is already pushing me away from buying it. If it has this feature I would probably buy it.
There also should be 5 a side matches indoors like the old games used to have. These were amazing ! And I think red cards should be given when your right through but still a distance from the goal. There should be less fouls given for little barges, it can ruin a game sometimes

Main concern: Full backs are nearly useless offensively AND defensively. Even as wing-backs with the arrow towards attack and with "high" determination on offense, they still won't automatically overlap.
Defensively, they don't follow the central defenders if you decide to pressure the ball, meaning the offside trap is useless.

Players tend to make runs straight forward, and often in the middle of the pitch. I wish they would go on more intelligent runs. I.e. when you run forward with the ball in the middle, they should run on the outside, rather than right in front of you.

As slightly enhanced with FIFA 10 WC, there are too many goals against on direct free kicks. There should be some way to defend oneself against this, especially since almost any player on the opposing team can shoot them into the back of the net. (I.e. a Napoli defender with low free kick acc. just scored against me in manager mode from about 30 yards out)

This would be really cool: Pick your own wall. With a simple push of the button when there's a direct free kick against (and only for a few seconds), you can decide to have 0-5 guys forming the wall. Should not be too hard to make, and would really improve the game on a tactical spectre.

BUG: You can't play in Europe when playing with any team from Norwegian Tippeligaen. I guess that's because their season goes with the calendar year, not from aug-june. Also annoying that you cannot make transfers in pre-season because of this.

Norwegian commentary. I am sure thousands in Norway would gladly pay 50 NOK extra to download Arne Scheie og Per Jarle Heggelund as the Norwegian commentary option.

One thing to improve, is the understanding of balance. It is too easy to take the ball away from smaller players, even though players like Iniesta and Messi rarely lose the ball in real life. Their great balance and low gravity-point makes them great ball-carriers despite short height. There are others like them in the game.
Also, height and weight has too much to say when it comes to headers. Lots of players like Chamakh in France or Marcus Pedersen in Norway win tons of heading jostles against taller defenders, despite being only about 180 cm tall.

New game mode - "Create-a-club"
How about creating your own club from scratch, start in the lowest division in a country with crappy players and make them great ones? This was available for the competitor PES, and was a great success.
