1. improve manager...since few years nothing really change in manager
2.in 2010 when your rival makes substitute, he always change player who just was substituted.
3. make possibilty to manage national team after few years of managing club.
4.what hurts me most - champions league in manager season --- honestly---crap, different name of the league, strange clubs - no Russians club at all...and reality of simulate games is disaster...how FC Barcelona can lose all games in the group when they have fc copenhagen, rangers and legia warsaw in the group...or I'm playng 5th season in manager and not even once real madrid or manU played there...
5. you should create a mode that makes it available to check stats after each season f.e. in different leagues or champion league.
6. Transfers: not only buying players but also change players between clubs -in manager
7.Another thing is that in transfers in manager clubs like barca, madrid, manU, liverpool, bayern munich never buy new players so it makes manager no real at all...

I really think that FIFA 2011 should be focused on the manager the rest is good...

one more thing -details…f.e when your team is promoted to higher league - barclays f.e the logo of coca cola championship on the sleeve should be changed for barclays one…anyway when you are promoted to higher league things like budget, shirts and so on should be changed

I agree add more international teams. Better control of the ball when you chest it and trap it, for example being able to trap the ball and turn in one motion because many times i'll control it off my chest only to be stole because i can not turn until the ball is at my feet. Better consistency with calling fouls, I feel strongly like that some body fouls get called some times and not other it is so annoying. I have to say the more physical play is hurting fifa 10 then helping because of some fouls being called and others not

I would be good have fans actually singing chants during the game.
Also making manager mode more realistic would be interesting e.g. create your appearance when u start. have press conferences and making it a longer process to sign a player including having to contact the club before being able to make a bid for the player.

a possible idea is to do something with referees. Make the players have hand balls, make the refs have blown offsides calls, or blow offsides when it really wasn't. Tug on shirts, have players complain to the refs and get carded for arguing. Also, have players dive and get cards for embellishment. The only down side would be that the emmanuel eboue would be red carded every time for diving; he's terrible.

I agree with what everyone put down before; international teams, club teams, stadium creator, manager mode etc. but what about...

GAMEPLAY
This must improve. Every year since fifa 07, it hasn't changed.
-The one touch with the right joystick. In soccer, or futbol, who's one touch is that bad? Honestly, show me one professional that touches the ball ten yards in that direction. In the game fifa 10, if any opponent is anywhere close, forget about it. Stolen. It is a useless "addition" they added on a few years ago. If they want to really market it and benefit the consumer, have the joystick cause better turns or shorter touches instead of just a ridiculous long one touch into space.

-Sideline play. Doesn't matter what you do, you can't avoid it. It is sooo frustrating trapping the opponent (computer) and when they are dribbling down the sideline, the ball is always going out of bounds. They say they are going to improve it, but don't. And going on this, i don't like how all the players are set for a throw in. It should be like a fast free kick in which it doesn't cut to a different shot, but be continuous. This allows you to trap the defense more if needed or make a counter attack run on offense.

-Lock on system. For some reason, when a ball is in the air, or going down the pitch, your player is locked onto it and you can't do anything about it. This should be free-formed and you should have the option to chase it, or leave it alone. If burning the clock, you can keep your forwards in a zone at the half instead of wasting stamina chasing after a ball that is pointless to get.

-Smarter team ai, the computers are idiots on your team. They run into your free kicks, dribble out of bounds, and sometimes passes do not go where you want them to go, either fix the passing and movement of the ball, or make them smarter. THIS INCLUDES THE GOALIE. You bring out the goalie against the ai, it's an automatic goal (against world class or legendary). And when you passback to the goalie in be a pro mode, goalie passes it out to a defensive player instead of clearing it. And when you are goalie and clearing one time from a passback, it doesn't go far, and other team always gets it. It's bushleague. Plus make the goalie kick it farther. Goalies now can kick the ball to the other box. None of this half field crap; either make the field smaller or players bigger or something; players can kick the ball now, this isn't the 50's.

-Finally, this was a lot to read, my bad, but the crowd and commentators. More excitement on breakaways and long shots. And crowds should influence players and vise versa give them more momentum. The crowd is such an important part, especially in champions league aka ecl, and they should have chants, songs, whistling, hell, even have fans throwing flares at the goalie. Thats too excessive but you get the idea. And Martin Tyler is great, but in fifa 10, he commentates on the celebration than the actual goal. WHO CARES? I could care less about kneeling and pointing to the sky with Tyler saying "and he is letting the fans know with his celebration" when i just drilled a shot 25 yards away top corner.

LOT TO READ BUT THE GAMEPLAY NEEDS TO IMPROVE. Fifa and NHL is all i play. Two favorite sports. But i would rather see the gameplay improve with a better manager mode than see the japanese super fun league be added.

Fifa 10 is missing quiet a few african teams. for example Egypt (7 time african champions, Currently ranked 12th on the fifa world rankings), Ghana, Ivory Coast and Nigeria are not in fifa 10.

More players and teams, great players like igor akinfeev were left out from manager mode, but available for russia, so silly, include the russian league, cska and such teams have amazing players. also, make players, like thierry henry say he wouldnt mind a return to arsenal, and wayne rooney saying he loves playin for man united and isnt interested in real madrid, more transfer rumours. more stadiums and design stadiums.
more gameplay options, like playing time, more weather like it can change during a game, floodlights on/off, strictness of the ref, players toughness, mentality, shout orders.
also, more youth players in the game, or add a reserve and youth team, so you can keep track of them, or give them the big call up if a few of your first teamers are injured, making sure the commentator knows its their big day, debute or first league goal.
get players to ask for first team chances, loan moves or transfer request.
being able to go into administration, or come close, and have to save the club, and become a hero.
add more teams, such as sunday league or conference north and south. like those who take part in the fa trophy.

Create a kit. some sort of altering of the kit after every manager mode season. Possibly have the kits of the major european teams from the last 10 years and you get to choose? I think playing as the same jersey, same looking team gets very boring after a long time.

When you improve your stadium have some sort of change add another tier to it? Some sort of change in the stadium so after building up my money for 3 seasons it doesnt look like I did nothing and I get dissapointed.

I think Fifa have it all wrong with their stats system. Once a player hits 30+ they all of a sudden lose all their stats, when really they should just lose their speed and stamina like in real life. Just because you're older doesn't mean you cant pass or shoot the ball. Same for young players, they seem to have terrible stamina some of them which is also unrealistic as most people are at their fittest when they are ~20.

The stats system is also totally wrong for goal keepers as they seem to dip at around 30, when in real life most of the best goal keepers are at their best when they are over 30! They also go on to play successful careers into their 40's...

The premier league season is also heavily bugged as you seem to play 2 games in 1 day during January.

The player contracts have a limit on them of how much u can pay them. Why is this? because one of my manger objectives was to re-sign a player on at least a 3 year contact but he wouldn't accept it because i wasn't offering him enough money??? Surely if i have the budget i should be able to pay him what i want? If i take the team into administration because of it then i fail.

in terms of Gameplay defensive midfielders doesn't seem to ever be in the right position.

-Please fix goal keepers. They come out automatically which can get annoying.
-Make the B botton for BODY only. Not both BODY AND CALL SECOND PLAYER.
-Make rebound goals less occurring. Off the goalie or the post the ball deflects back to the attacking team 90% of the time. This hardly happens in real life. Make the goalie deflect uncatchable balls over the bar or wide of the post. So many crap goals occur its crazy.

I totally agree to Craig, a referee mode would be very fun. And I also think it would be fun if u could create the managers face,body shape, clothes and so on. Its worked very well in uefa champions league 2005.

-In BAP or CYC modes, why would you take away points for a corner kick that goes right to a player. It's a great cross, but the intended player doesnt make the effort to head it. its not my fault the guy didnt get his head to it. its a great ball. and if you arent the captain, and you take ALL corner kicks, your overall points drop SIGNIFICANTLY because your players dont feel like jumping.
-In BAP mode, allow more space to move around before you start taking points away for positioning. maybe im a CAM that wants to make a run on goal. i can, but i loose points in my overall performance. WHY? im just being proactive.
-When a group of players are in a smaller area around each otherthe ball bounces around off them like a pinball. if there was any way to make a plyer grab for the ball. and notice that its there.
-When a player takes some types of shots (I.e. chip), after he takes the shot, he just stands there instead of running in case the shot hits the crossbar or takes a deflection.
-It would be very cool if there was a certain button (R3, L3 maybe?) that if a ball was falling to a player he could flick it sombrero style in the air in any desired direction instead of having to trap it on the ground first.
-If a player TOTALLY runs over your player, but just happens to tip the ball, there is no foul called. please fix and add more sensitivity to calls.
-please add players to touchline and have them celebrate and get up and run to the touchline when a goal is scored.
--Also and probably the biggest thing that takes me out of the game in terms of realism is the skill level of the players. in football the best thing for me is that ANY player, regardless of his "skill level" can have a moment of pure brilliance.

And one thing i really want to add is a much better way to leave the ball to a player or even send another player the ball so it goes much harder when he shoots. A possibillity to take pre rehersed free kicks variants would've been nice. And why cant we see players gatering the ball for a freekick, why must the screen go black and suddenly are everybody in position, do it like on real football. Maybe more realistic with an opportunity to send players to warm up before you put in a substitute.

1. I would like to be able to save your videos on your xbox...not just online somewhere.
2. I would also like to see more penalties inside the box, just because their not slide tackles doesn't mean they're not fouls!
3. Also maybe a handball once in a while.
4. Referee mistakes, especially on off-sides, some are only off by a centimeter and i get called.

There is one thing you really should add, and that is hands. If you take a hands in Fifa 10, nothing happens, not even a penalty or an indirect freekick. And the opportunity to move your character in every direction, its just 8 different directions in Fifa 10 i think. I wouldnt mind a much easier skill drible controller either, its just too difficult to do it particularly effective.
And there is a very low amount of football teams, get more divisions in every league. Also make the manager mode more exiting and realistic, i dont think you cant loan players? for example. And a realistic manager mode would make the game so much better, with more opportunities when it comes to youth academy and so on. You should really work hard on the manager mode, include almost everything that is in a real match, even a testimonial game for players that has been in the same club over 10 years. A Fifa game so detailed like that would be a dream!

Best ideas ever :D

Skill move control should be more intuitive. For example if you could make it so that hold RB and RT when in a standoff with a defender each joy stick controls each foot so you could confuse defenders in a more natural manner. After you feel you have tten the defender off balance you could break forward by either pressing both joysticks forward or releasing RT And RB.

1. Make virtual pro available for Mac OSX Leopard and Snow Leopard

4. Have a setting when your in a scoring position, the camera focuses on the area around you and the players around you.

i think sponsors should be available not only on the shirt but with other stuff like traveling drinks shoes and other creative stuff i cant think of. saving replays would be great its tiring to record everything on your phone or cam. making money in the manager mode should be harder depending all on the sponsors the players ups and downs are tiring to follow and the fatigue for small teams is tiring too and i wish they give us the ability to choose a custom club with a budget to buy player build a stadium by our choice building training facilities and these stuff making it long is part of the fun

FIFA 10 is amazing and still will be for a good few years but FIFA 11 NEEDS to have a year selection mode. Wat it is, is a mode where you can go back a few years and play teams in the leagues and the kits they wore back then. FIFA 11 also needs a referee mode where you choose the referee you would like to play as and then you choose a league for him to ref in. The ref controls are basically the same as the footballing controls but instead of kicking the ball around you run around with the players and blow the whistle (Triangle) when you think its free kick / off side / out / penalty. When you blow the whistle (Triangle) a choice will come up :

Yellow Card
Warning

Also there should be fights/arguments on the pitch! Make it more interesting!

FIFA 11 should also have a newer version of virtual pro where you create your own character or upload your FIFA 10 virtual pro onto FIFA 11 and play as your character through a sort of like story mode. You would have your own apartment go to trials for a team of your choice and play games, earn money and buy new apartment, houses, vehicles and more. If you don't make into a team you can go back to your apartment, and try another team.

-in manager mode you should be able to put in money and a player or two when negotiating for a player
-and you should be able to play matches in kick off with your team or teams from your
manager mode
-you should be able to cover the ball out like they normally do,so
they should apply that action to a button so if the ball is on its way to roll out of play

-live season updates on fifa 11 should also put in new shoes and the players new haircuts onto the game or the new shoes and the players new haircuts can come in fifa store or fifa 11 store as an update every week or so (that would make the game feel new the whole time)
-and it was good in fifa 10 when the live season often put in new young reserve/first team players into most of the teams PPPPLEASE do that on FIFA 11 aswell

Heres a few ideas
1. I like to call this “Axiety Zoom” which is a feature that can be enabled or disabled on the pre match screen. The feature is automatically activated at any time when a very good player has a goal scoring opportunity in which the joy pad beings to shake, time slows so the perfect goal can be selected, the angles get smaller and the screen fades into a black and white effect. Time will then speed up automatically once the ball is hit (This feature will only work on single player modes)

2. Create a club: a budget team with a small amount of money which then has to work its way up through promotion and sponsorship deals


3. Create a stadium: this will correspond with the create a club feature, starting with low capacity grounds that will then grow along with the club.

4. Create boots: being able to create Nike, Adidas, Umbro and Puma boots

5. Better fans & atmospheres in stadiums: depending on if a team are winning of losing the support should be based around that, also if teams are on a losing streak then a have full stadium instead of a ram packed one

6. Chants allocated to the specific players and teams

7. More celebrations: running over barriers into the crowd, team chasing goal scorer, running up to manager, reaction from the bench etc.

8. If the referee is going to give a player a red card, a small brawl should happen between the teams, especially in derby matches.

9. More realistic fans that DO NOT all sway in unison!

10. Bookings for diving, Dissent, managers being sent to stands, shirt pulling, when you make a substitution show the players warming up on the touchline and getting last minute information.

11. More commentary which are based on facts about the teams

12. Changing appearances that correspond with the real ones that are automatically changed with an online feature

loved fifa 10 but the thing that i would change is in manager mode.
i would like it if you didnt have to skip from game to game. it would be good if you could do stuff inbetween games and choose to which day you skip to so you could maybe train you team to make them better and fitter also it annoys me when the transfer market is open for only a month and you run out of time nagotiating with someone because the window closes after 4 games.

Love FIFA 10, but it should be posible to play with norwegian teams in the adecco-leage in FIFA 11. At least make it posible to download the leage for ps3.
