be able to see the manager on the touch line
and change the kit every couple of seasons
and have the champions league and uefa cup on it instead of the ECC trophy.
MAKE THESE CHANGES AND IT WILL BE THE BEST FOOTBALL GAME OF ALL TIME :)
What ever goals or appearences your players make won't go on stats for the season and none of the information will go on profile records either as its not real games.
We may have only qualified for one world cup but come on FIFA 09 has the same number of countries as FIFA 08 when they should just put ever country in the world on there.
1. There should be more leagues or non leagues in there too like the Blue Square Premier, Russian League, Argentienian League, Scottish First division, Welsh Premier League, Trinidad & Tobago pro league etc.
2 What happened to being able to edit shirt numbers on manager mode.
3. Better weather options in particular stadiums.
4. Is it true the world club championship isn't on there this year?
5. Have a youth academy in manager mode even if the players are fictional its still really good to create players out of nowhere.
6. Bring back handball rules.
7 When defending set pieces you should be able to move you goalkeeper along the line, before game choose which player should be positioned where to defend(e.g. player on the line).
8. When taking a free kick there should be an option to go for a curling placement free kick.
9. Transfers should be more realistic(Ronaldo would never go to Arsenal).
10. Should be able to choose more commentators including Ian Gwyn Hughes.
11. More football boots and more designer footballs.
12. There should a free agents section where if players in real life are without a club and didn't sign for anyone before deadline day then they should still be on FIFA in free agents.

More stadiums like White Hart Lane, Villa Park, Santiago Bernabue, Celtic Park, Ibrox, Hampden Park, Ajax's ground used to be on older fifa's, division 3 euro style, Fenerbache's ground, Galatasary, Elland road, Bradford's ground, Liberty stadium, Cardiffs new ground, Anderlects stadium, Austria & switzerland stadiums, Russian national teams stadium, Bramall lane, Hillsborough, Wolverhampton's ground etc.
14. On fifa 08 in manager mode a player disapeared from your squad and is never seen again. On fifa 09 a player from every opponents squad in manager mode disapears. The creators should get this bloody right.
15. Bring back training mode.
16. On manager mode you should be able to see videos of your previous games.
17. On manager mode you should be able to have acess to other division tables and results to see who you could be playing next season. Also should be able to see how players all over the world are doing.
18. International call ups from any country your players play for, you should also be able to postpone games if your missing too many players unless of course your in higher divisions in which case you get international breaks.
19. FA cup replays except for the semi finals and final of course.
20. Players salaries should be more realistic.
21. FA cup semi finals should be at Wembley, Villa Park & Old Trafford or Old Trafford & Millenium stadium. Not the home teams ground which is unrealistic.
22. You should be able to make your stadium bigger in manager mode even if its a real life stadium.

If there are managers out there that havn't got a club at the moment they should be approached to replace another boss at whatever club there is a vacancy. If however the player wants to be himself on there then he should fill out information and create his own appearence.

-You make Cristiano Ronaldo like his a freak and he can score from anywhere. He is not that great, there are tonnes of better players. When you play online all the little cheats use Man U and just have shots from anywhere with him and score. Why isn't David Beckham that good in the game, he is in real life???????????

Hope you consider - as this is something I believe they are looking at for management games like FM and Champ Man!
-Now that Xbox have signed a deal with Sky, they should make the english coverage just like watching an episode of super sunday, with the voice of geoff shreeves popping up when someone has gone off injured or been sent off.
-In Euro 2008 it cut to show the managers on the touchline during matches, this would also be good, although getting the right colour orange for phil brown's face would be tricky.
-More realistic sponsor boards like you would see at the real stadiums, also more stadiums could be added.
-More boots and realistic goalkeeper gloves.
-Real officials would be good to see as well.
-Two player capability in the arena before a two player match.
-Ability to play in a quick start online league or cup

-There should be tactics for set pieces Eg so that we can send the defenders up for corners

I just REALLY hope EA use these Ideas coz It'd make the game legendary. On that subject I also reckon legendary is not difficult enough.

2. Players should react to the climates and wear gloves during winter and short sleeves etc during the summer.
3. When a player goes down injured and has to come off, the medics carry him away.
4. The simulation should be better for substitutions. You should see the two players embrace and the player coming off be congratulated by the staff. Or if he feels he shouldn't come off then he should storm down the tunnel.
5. There should be a new meter. The anger meter. Each player is given an anger rating. For example Wayne Rooney's anger point would be higher than that of Brede Hangelenad. And when the player is irritated (poor tackle made on him, or his team is losing) then there aggression gets higher. If the anger meter gets too high then they act out. As the player you have no control over the acting out, and your player could well be sent off as a result.
6. Managers and staff should be visible from the game field.
7. You should be able to edit any player on the database.
-Make it somewhat possible to pass an opponent by making the ball go through their legs
-When doing skilled moves make the crowd scream
-Have teams offer you to be their manager
-Have press conferences and present players when just bought
-If possible make the crowd sing a players name like in England when doing good
-Have a player be sometimes booed when a huge mistake was made
