Also make the number of characters for replay names more than 6. Sucks that you can have only 6 letters. I want to be able to save replays as "Rooney amazing goal" or "Ronaldo beautiful free kick"

1.) more stadiums: less generic stadiums, only about 3-5 generic stadiums are needed, the rest should be real life stadiums, including an actual American stadium.

2) more international teams: there is only 2 concacaf teams in the game and the game is missing great squads like Ivory Coast and Ghana.

3) resolve the Dutch National Team problem: I know there is licensing problems but the real team was on the last World Cup game.

4) manager mode scheduling: when playing in the premiership, it is possible for my team to be playing 2 games on 1 day with FA Cup and league play and then the next day to play in the English League Cup Final. I know they do not do that in real life, so the schedules should be more flexible.

5.) more respect to Americans!: I may be biased but I find it strange that the US players are rated so low compared to a team such as Mexico, who the USA beats time and time again. Players like Dempsey and Altidore deserve to have higher ratings

6) Live Season: Live Season should be free for all leagues and more importantly should be WAY less dramatic in terms of players ratings fluctuating from a 75 to a 92 in one week, especially when its a guy who began as a 88. Also, just because a player is injured in real life, their live update should not fall 15 points

7) I would love to see an integration of international and club in manager mode so that you can choose whether to be a manger of either and the international dates show up on the calender and certain players are chosen and their fatigue or injuries or exp points are changed as a result.

8) I would like to see some actual managing done by the computer controlled teams in manager mode, for example, no team will change their lineup before a game, even if every player is empty on their energy level. The Big teams should be playing their subs and reserves in cup games in which they play the lower level teams, mainly though the game gets repetitive when teams like Man U and Liverpool do not change their squads for 4 or 5 seasons of manager mode

9) in the actual gameplay...it feels to me that the players should appear a little bigger on the field, when watching in real life they take up more space. and in the game they are extremely quicker with their movements, as well as their first touches on the ball are almost always perfect.

manager mode should start in mid july so you can make transfers before the season starts, eg if you start with a spanish team the first fixture is played in september so you only get one full transfer window in january and another week in june

in manager mode you should be able to build your own stadium like fifa manager, also create your own team e.g. kit, colours,name etc. more celebrations, be able to sign free agents after the window closes. be able to change your sponsors and it changes on the kits. and more weather conditions and some games may be called off due to the bad weather hopefully this would happen rarely but would be a good feature to have.

to make fifa 10 muich better than fifa 09 they should put in a wall on the start up screen to shooot against because it gets broing just shooting at the kepeer with no wall to practise with. also i hope ultimate team will carry on aswell on fifa 10 because i payed 8 pound for it on fifa 09. its also really good aswell.

I think you should focus on fan and stadium details. It should be clear to see home and away fans, how they chant or celebrate. Also, to make some new stadiums so the game doesn't get boring after a few weeks.

this maybe too late or too difficult but on be a pro i think it would be cool if there was an alternate be a pro visual where insterad of the player just being in front of you you were actually the player seeing the pitch the way they would see it. i just think that would be cool to play the game through a single players eyes

I'd like to see better looking goals. For me the goals don't look that real, as the posts are a browny colour, when they should be white.

A bug I found was that when a ball rebounds of something, sometimes it goes so fast you can't see it. Also when players celebrate, they sprint too fast to the corner flags.

I think maybe having a Futsal mode inside the game would be cool, where we can play an indoor soccer game with kick ins etc, as i'm sure there are ALOT of people who are dying to play a Futsal game.

one of the biggest things you should put in fifa 10 is showing the team who won the cup holding it like what barca did in roma. I also like the ideas like practicing free kicks with a wall, also adding a defender to the aeran. This will make things interesting. Also, adding some more leagues.

alot of times i want to head the ball back to the keeper but the defenders always volley the ball back to him.honestly thats the only thing that really annoys me in the current game.i suppose a training mode for the be a pro could be good whereby u do dribbling shooting etc drills.oh and in be a pro when your a defender if your aims where to make 10 tackles instead of taking x amount of shots it wuould be better i tink.thanks

Like there is a become a legend mode there should be some thing similar to it but as a manager. Heres the idea you start off with a made up team (you customise it the way you want kits names stadiums etc.) you earn money for every match you win plus from sponsers and u get bonuses from them if you meet their requirements. The money earned can be used to buy players upgrade stadiums for higher fan capacity allowing higher ticket funds to be brought in, the manager (team) should start off in the lowest league and work their way up to the top the board and chairman can give them tips on what to do things to up grade and players to buy. You should be able to customise how u want your manager too look and he should be shown during the match giving commands to the team. If the board fires you its game over or to give it a more realistic feel you should be able to pick a lower league team to work with to work your way back up to the top again. You should be able to train players individualy and as a team to improve their attributes.

"Fantasy draft" type of feature; you can select players from your chosen league and have to ability to choose who you want. Teams should be given a budget before the draft to keep authenticity (eg. Man U, Chelsea, L'pool, and Arsenal would still be strong).

I think that its just a few little things that will make the fifa franchise even more succsesful.
1.Each premier league team should have there real life stadium on the game.
This would add more varierty, as it does get quite boring playing at the same ground week in week out.
2.When you sign a player there should be a press conference, a brief cutscene showing the player with there new shirt would be enough.
3.Each player should be individual, Introduce things like under armour, Gloves in the winter, each player with there relivant boots on
4.Weather, Surely EA can introduce winter weather? During the opening parts of the season and the latter parts of the seasons the weather could be bright, with the odd dull day, Then during the november/december months, add some rain, add some snow.
Fifa 09 was a great game, it was a great step up from fifa 08. I think that fifa10 Or fifa2010 just takes a few little tweaks to make it an even better game =]

Here are my personal preferences:

- I think the number of leagues is good, but there should be a much wider variety of teams in the 'Rest of World' section. Such teams as Shakhtar and Dynamo Kiev (Ukraine), Zenit, CSKA, Rubin Kazan (Russia), BATE (Belarus), Dinamo Zagreb (Croatia), CSKA and Levski (Bulgaria), Anorthosis (Cyprus) maybe Colo Colo and Audax Italiano (Chile) as well.
- I think you should have the option to use points to unlock past and classic kits and players to add to your team, as well as challenge modes where you can play as a team in a classic final wearing playing as the players present in the kits they wore at the time.
- An international cup DEFINITELY has to be added. I know there are licensing things and stuff but maybe an unofficial 'International Cup' could exist?
- More international teams should be included! The 2006 World Cup game was probably the best football game I have EVER played because the variety was sooooo good!
- One of the things that annoys me the most about FIFA 09, despite it being a fantastic game, is the fact that I will be playing as Real Madrid or Milan in the European Champions Cup semi finals and the other three teams will be Slavia Prague, Sparta Prague and Marseille. It needs to be more realistic, I want to play good teams in the semi-finals and the final! Please make it so that realistic results happen!

in the transfers, there should be more loans goin on. coz whenever i put someone on loan i dont get any offers. also in manager mode, there should be sponsors u can put on your jersey so they look more like the other teams. and one last thing they should have the UEFA and world cup for clubs and international teams.

Developers need to work on switching players more fluidly and switching to the best player possible. I hate it when I am defending a play and I switch to a player to intercept the ball but the computer switches me to a player away from the play. This also applies on offense. I'll have a man open for a pass and the computer decides to pass it the player that's covered.
I also hate the fact that because of the switching deficiencies in the program, you can't play true pressure defense . In order to effectively defend in this game you have to wait and steal. This is one way to defend but a lot of teams like to play pressure defense which is aggressive. Because switching to the correct player is sooooo slow, you can't be aggressive on defense. The computer always seems to be a split second to slow on switching players, in offense or defense.

My biggest gripe with Fifa 09 was that you cannot customize players attributes like in Madden or NBA games. I dont expect the developers to be able to rate all players in the world such as MLS players but most are constanly underratted. I just want to be able to change their attributes but in 07-09 there was the stupid points or whatever it was and players were locked... At least have a cheat or somekind of ingame buy that will allow people to change the attributes of characters in the game.

I want to be able to sign players on loan in the transfer market with the option to make the deal permanent after a given period.
I would like for there to be Awards given out in Manager Mode. For example, Team of the Year, Manager of the Year, Player of the Year, Golden Boot, Ballon d’Or, etc.

1. It'd be real nice if you can be able to resign from a job midway through the season.

2. I'd like for their to be take-overs in Manager Mode. For example, if I am managing Fulham, I'd like for there to be a take-over of the club and that would bring more money to the budget and in turn, transfer kitty.

3. I'd like to be able to manage past the 15 years currently set. I want to retire when I want to retire.

4. I'd like more of a real-life experience in Manager Mode. For example, other managers should be sacked and if I am doing well as a manager, I would like to be either offered the job, or be able to put in an application for the job. This applies to managers at country level as well.

5. I'd like to be able to sign free-agents even though the transfer market is closed, like in real-life.

6. I'd like for there to be a Reserves league and an Academy league.

7. I'd like to be able to scout and buy young players and put them in the youth academy to develop, like in real-life. Then, when they graduate from the Academy, they will be fully developed and ready for 1st team football.

8. I'd like to be able to buy players and put them with the Reserves if I'm not ready to put them in the 1st team.

9. I'd like to be able to hire and fire my own background staff and assistant.

10. I'd like to be able to insert buy-back clauses in a player's contract when I sell them.

11. I'd like to be able to buy a player by either trading one of my own players or by offering a player plus cash deal.

12. In regard to game-play, I'd like a 1-2 control to be implemented so that I can play a 1-2 with another player.

13. If all my substitutions are up and I have an injury to one of my players, I'd like to be able to reduce my team to ten men, rather than have the injured player on the field.

14. In regard to statistics, I'd like for there to be separate charts recording goals scored. For example, there should be a chart for top league scorer, top Champion's League goal-scorer, etc.

15. In Manager Mode, when International friendlies come up, I want to be able to play the game between the countries.

I'm sure that there are others on here that have already said this. But I would love to see the return of CREATE-A-TEAM that we have seen on the PC versions and PS2 versions of the game.

1. STREAKER- i know it may seem like a stupid idea but it happens in real life. maybe have a guy come running onto the field and you hear the commentator say something clever about it; then you see him getting escorted off the field after play has been stopped for a few moments.
2. CELEBRATIONS- include being able to take your shirt off and getting carded afterwards, maybe hitting L2 or something and you see the player jump over the advertising barrier and running to the crowd, team bench going crazy, etc.
3. INJURIES- maybe some bonecrushing tackles (seeing a broken leg) and then getting carted off the field, seeing the medics using the "magic spray", two players hit heads and start to bleed, etc.
4. UNLOCKABLES- jerseys (man. uniteds sharp jersey, juve's sony jersey,etc.), teams ('94 italy team, '98 brazil, '90 argentina, etc.)
5. PLAYERS- for example, even though they are player of the year, they shouldn't be able to dominate the game (cristiano ronaldo with amazing speed and blowing by everyone with the ball)
6. FREE KICKS- more signature kicks/SPIN (juninho's drop kick should really drop dramatically, roberto carlos' outside foot curve, etc.), trick freekicks (more then 1 guy running over the ball for example)
7. STREAMERS- during international play fans throw streamers onto the field and you see a player clearing the way to kick during a set play (ex. corner kick)
8. FANS- have a large number of fans where one set color (ex. liverpool games you see mostly red), in fifa 09 u see various colors usually

there should be games in the arena such as red ass, wembly doubles u should also be able to play these games on xboxlive with your mates!!

Chav commentators!!!!! they should shout at the ref and linesmen like you here at a real match, things like "go to specsavers you blind w*****r"

make the fans more realistic, also if u win a cup finale u should bea able to b interviewed, on the pitch or after. have tricks that actually beat defenders, also have mangers run on pitch if win an important game

Fifa '09 is the best version of Fifa and IMO the best soccer game available. My biggest gripe with the game is in the online BAP mode, if the game room is full with 20 players and everyone is ready except ONE player the entire game gets delayed. Once the game begins captains can kick out players, but I think the captains should be able to kick players out of the lobby so as to not delay the other players game experience. Another suggestion would be a voting system in the pre-game lobby if EA would prefer a more democratic approach to the captains monarchy.

In manager mode you can do training and not just matches

Do in the stadiums select you can just select a country and every club's stadium that plays there that you can get no problem.

I would like to see:
1) in manager mode, have more to do with the manager!!! see him on the touchline during the game, for example when a shot goes wide in a tense match the camera should cut to his reaction!
2) more realistic injuries, players get a broken collerbone and are back after 2 matches??!
3) Improve the crowd realism! have them chant their teams songs like in real life
4) better transfer system, lower league teams in real life take out loans mid season for like a month at a time, this would be more realistic
5) being able to control set pieces better, selecting where u want certain players. e.g. when your playing with man utd, vidic stays back?? get him in the box for corners where he scores goals in real life!!
6) stadiums for all teams in top leagues (england, italy, spain, germany, france etc).. and when your a lower league club and work your way up the leagues, when you improve your stadium in the upgrades it should gradually get bigger and better, not just stay the same small crappy one
7) better celebrations when a team wins a cup, its naf atm and the same everytime!
8) commentary to be more personalised to a player and to pick up on a player's performance saying how well theyve been doing in the season so far...
9) warm-ups before a match (as an option, not everyone will want this)
10) practice arena in manager mode
11) youth academy's (im sure this was in an older version of fifa and it was good)
12) create a team and be able to enter them into manager mode???
13) physio's coming onto the pitch when a player is injured
14) night and day matches and it never snows or rains in winter, its just cloudy all the time??
15) refs need to sort their booking system out, tackles from behind and being last man should be a red when all they get is a yellow!!
16) send out scouts to bring back reports on players in other leagues throughout the season and give u all of the statistics for how they've played, e.g. goals scored etc.
17) have teams try to buy your players more often, it only happens when u put them on the transfer list and news conferences etc when u make a big money signing, that would make it more realistic!!
18) adapt a bit of football manager from the pc into it, have the ability to put players like scholes and giggs on your coaching staff when they retire in manager mode
19) have more interaction and rivalries with other managers
20) bring back international duty but dont let players go off for it and have them miss the game, just see them more fatigued after an international game.
21) more realistic AI results in the champions league, fed up of it being 3 or 4 english teams in the semi's of the ECC every year!!
22) pre match build up for cup finals/last day of season, show highlights of what each club has done to get to the club final etc
23) edit kit numbers was taken off on fifa 09? bring that back, its annoying when ur striker has number 1 on his shirt

FIFA 09 was great, nice additions to FIFA 10 would be:

In Manager mode, a visual sync with your choice of when to play
ALL modes, a manager visible on the sidelines
Improvements on the offside system such as when a player starts his run on the kick from inside he's own half.
A few more stadiums
Official Champions League and Uefa Cup
Classic Teams (unlockable) teams like:
1966 England
80's Liverpool
80's Tottenham etc...
sending off of goalkeepers
