1.Allow goalies to get red cards! I've seen goalies take down a player as the last man and only get a yellow.
Also, I've seen goalies use their hands outside the box and not get penalized.

2. Increase player reaction times. In general, player movements are too slow in FIFA 09. Every move must be planned out well in advance, which prevents from doing quick moves to evade defenders.

3. Improve the camera so you can see when the goalkeeper charges at you.

4. Improve movement while sprinting

5. More intelligent off-the-ball runs.

6. Adidas Live Season scores are messed up: When I start the game Dirk Kuyt is an 84 at right-mid. When I pause and go to Team Management his (and other players') ratings are all changed.

1) Music needs to be better. You play Madden or NBA and they have good and popular music. The music on Fifa is completely lame/depressing and does not get you excited for a football match at all.
2) I'm on my third season with Plymouth and so far every single game (17) has had the same introduction. Starts on the field then you see the players lining up infront of the croud like an international game, then the ref fixes up the nets. Its annoying this happens exactly the same every single game and that a domestic competition has clubs lining up like they are playing the national anthem?
3) Edit kid numbers. I have bought some mad new players and they're all #38,#39 etc.
4) Personalities: Different players should be more aggressive or placid. Eg Rooney should be a bit of a nut case.
5) Commentary. This is always shocking in Fifa games. At least in 07 they would sometimes talk about something. In 09 they don't say anything about the season, tournament, weather etc. Also they need to get more excited when a goal is scored, particularly in a big game. When the win the Champions league or whatever you call it in Fifa the commentators hardly give a s***.
6) Crowds: Need to be more vibrant. Should yell more and have a reaction to all events in a match, even when a player makes a run. Also I wouldn't expect to see empty seats in a Man U vs Arsenal match.
7) In manager mode it would be cool if you were still questioned by the press or whatever but the scenarios shouldn't be so stupid. Sometimes you go through them and think what do I say? They all suck. Preseason games against other clubs around the world etc would be good. Also a bit of preseason training would be good before the preseason matches.
8) Japan international team and the J-league should be included.
9) Better statistics. Scotland and Ireland are not better than Australia.
10) Weather. It rains a lot in England, so in manager mode there should be at least some rainy matches.
11) Diving would be fun like in fifa 99. Also more realistic bookings. I can absolutely smash someone by getting no where near the ball in this game and 9 times out of 10 I won't get a booking.
12) Coaching and subs on the benches, it looks silly that they are empty.
13) Players should run faster. I swear every player is far too slow and there should be more variation between really quick players and not so quick players.
14) Long range shots are practically impossible to hit the target which is ridiculous. Also players often boot the ball miles over the cross bar from a couple of yards out. Its a bit stupid.

I don't know if I have mentioned anything about players actually lifting a trophy at the end. You work hard to win a tournament and all you really get to see 2 second clip of the players who finished the game having a photo taken.

Also editing kits and players through the season. I agree that you shouldn't be able to edit a players physical appearance except their haircuts.

I keep thinking of more but forget about them haha.

Must have Blue Square Conference Teams! Also a must have is World Cup! How about when a player goes down the pysio runs on to treat him. Also have as many other leagues as possible from around the World. There should also be more of the Youth Team players at each Club, so you can loan them out to get more experience or sell them or have them as cover for when your 1st team players start getting injured. The more the Youth Team players play they should become better players and worth more money to sell or loan out etc. Also bring back the option of playing without the anologue sticks!!!!!!!

Here are some suggestions:

1) Give players more realistic strength on and off the ball e.g Gerrard will be a lot stronger than a league 2 full back.

2) Save replays

3) Make it so shots from a greater range have more (but not too much) of a chance of going in. At the moment the keepers are almost to good.

4)Training matches

5) Easier to pronounce scouted player names! :L

6) A louder and more realistic stadium announcer when telling the crowd the scorers name and number.

7) Louder crowd noise (especially in games such as derby's and cup semi's/finals

8) Martin Tyler to commentate is his usual real- life ecstasy when a great goal is scored e.g gerrards goal against olympiakos (''GERRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARD!'')

These are just some suggestions from a Fifa veteran -

1. When you increase the size of the stadium after saving all season, actually increase the stadium when playing the game. I played as Bury for 3 seasons and increased the size of the stadium capacity 5 times and it never actually changes when you play home games.

2. When you win a cup actually show the players with the cup.

3. More youth development, at the start of each season you should have the chance to recuit from the youth teams.

4. You should be able to know if the commentator is actually going to say the players name when you buy them or have a list on the internet to look it up...there is nothing worse when playing trying to look who has the ball whilst running with them.

5. Integrate international matches so some of your players and not able to play through the season.

6. Injuries to occur in training session, not just when Joey Barton or Robbie Savage slide tackles you.

7. All stadiums should have the name of the stadium when playing there.

8. Players squad numbers, let the player change this when signing for the club

9. The referee's should not always be perfect in the decisions and should get it wrong from time to time.

10. When the transfer window is closed you should be able to check out and assess other players and put them on a shortlist for when it re-operns.

Make all the top players have faces like Arshavin and eduardo
Be able to change boots in a season and show how the players develop ie different hair styles
Be able to see the players train before matches. and the commentators point out players.. ie on a skysports game they will pick out a few players and do a close up
have different camera angles and commentators for different broadcasters like skysports, itv , bbc and setanta.
Make the pitches nicerr and all the premierleague stadiums

u should make the wii version of the game a lot better i hae the wii and the ps3 fifa 09 and i was disapointed with the quality of the wii version its nowhere near as good as the ps3 and 360 versions just for a start could the graphics get a bit better why cant u have the samegraphics on the wii as u do on ps3 and 360 THE WII VERSION NEEDS TO IMPROVE!!!!!!!!!

For the last five years I have purchased the latest instalment of the FIFA game franchise and every year I have been impressed by the realism of the games. But recently I have been interested in the way the beautiful game is being played in other parts of the world, in particular the Russian Premier League.

With the recent success of CSKA Moscow, Spartak Moscow and Zenit St Petersburg I think the Russian Premier League should be added to the leagues on FIFA 10. This addition would make the game play even more realistic and would give FIFA players the chance to explore a different way of football.

Also in the last five years i have noticed many problems or inaccuracies within the Netherlands national team. On FIFA 09 the Netherlands national team did not consist of the real squad players, logo and kits and in some of the games they have not even been included. Seeing The Netherlands improvement during their UEFA Euro 2008 campaign many FIFA players would like the chance to take the reigns of one of the most talented national teams of late. Also as a regular player of FIFA 09 I have been upset by having to play a whole season with Manchester United in Manager Mode before I can play in the Champions League even though for many years Manchester United have taken part in the Champions League campaign in real life. This takes away some of the realism. If this change was made it would make the FIFA franchise realistic and more competitive.

I also believe that if EA were to bring back 'Create a Club' from FIFA 07 it would cement the games profile as 'the best football game in the world.' It would also invcrease the chances of bringing in more gamers who might have enjoyed the Pro Evolution Soccer franchise 'Create a Club' option.

While I enjoy the FIFA games, I find that the subjects i have brought up in this message have been a small negative in my personal opinion of the games. I think if these changes were made, even if only slightly, this would encourage more gamers to purchase the FIFA games.

Please take my personal opinions and ideas into consideration during the creation of the eagerly awaited tenth addition to the FIFA franchise, FIFA 10.

2) add the "Estadio Santiago Bernabéu" to the new FIFA .
3) try to do manager mode which two options: play as an original manager or play as an new manager.
4) add a license for the UEFA Champions League and the European League (that replaced the UEFA Cup).

You need to sort out the crosses, half the time nobody is there, or it just goes to nobody, also make the athmospheres a little more realistic, like make it better at anfiled, old trafford, the bernebau where you'd get big athmospheres.
Also id like to make my own team again on fifa, along with making my own stadium, and sort out the offsides, and the advantages. Also make the shot variate a little more, as if you shoot from the same position, it always goes to the same target.

I think it would be nice if there was practice like the old games, where you could practice freekicks with blokers and corner situation. Danish comentary to, more stadiums and the crowd should be more realistic.

Improvements to manager mode:
-Allow user to change player number anytime during season.
-Training mode to practice with team.
-Actual dedicated offseason where transfers, international competitions, and preseason games take place. No need to play game to advance to see whether or not transfer successful. Advance a day at a time during transfer windows so negotiations can be more realistic and intense.
-Team of the season more accurate, i.e. I had the top scorer of the league on my team with 50+ goals and he wasnt on team of the season, something wrong there.
-Allow the editing of players hair style, jersey style, boots, other accessories, in manager mode.
-Improve scouting, i.e. make young talented players "hot commodities" that are tracked by many teams. Also, make scouted players names more region specific, no more "Ronny Da Silva" from England or "Jaime Sanchez" from Germany.
Also, allow lower division teams to scout players and develop them.
-When players loaned out to clubs, actually have them improve if they play.

Overall Improvements:
-More atmosphere through crowd noise, reactions to play on field, team anthems, authentic songs for specific players.
-Better cinematic clips when competitions are won. Cup presentations, etc.
-Improve volleys
-Better dribbling mechanics
-More stadiums, i.e. real stadiums and generic. Also, for generic stadiums have better names- "football stadium" and "stadium 3" are not very imaginative stadium names!
-Region appropriate stadiums, i.e. when playing against a small spanish or italian team whose stadium is tiny, it shouldnt be in the same stadium as an english league stadium. It should be in a smaller stadium that has more of a mediteranean look, not a stadium that has the look of an english stadium.


I will prob think of more improvements later, will be sure to post them.

One thing that i always enjoyed was playing with my friend in the same room, online. We would play so much that we got our record to over 300 wins but we both live in different states now. We both bought 09 in hopes that we could play on the same team(us two vs either one or more, online). I know you have something where you can play with alot of players, but we weren't ever able to figure out how to play with just us two.

First of all,You all can really make the game better but its better off what you do, making the game better and better by each next version. By the way, I do have some ideas.

1) defo sort out the training wall in the arena and bring back training games.
2) make high profile players like berbatov ronaldo rooney act like the real thing in terms of stance, shot, running style etc
3) make the fans better + also raise noise levels at derbys or when an equaliser has been scored
4) lose most of the celebration so there are less combinations for the better ones
5) give the attacker the benefit of the doubt on offsides, and tighten up the advantage rule so that a genuine advantage isnt called back

I wish the EA downloader would ACTUALLY update my game. It would be best if all the leagues were updated (including the MLS). There should be better graphics so no glitches would occur. Plus, from time-to-time, the commentators should say something new, instead of repeating the same phrases over and over and over again.

Free flowing action from free kicks to throw ins and goal kicks the game sould be free flowing. I really hate fifa 09 when the ball is in the corner of the pitch and there is like 4 throw ins one after the other. This slows the game down big time.

1.in manager mode there should be different screens for the different tornements, so that it feels like a champions league night or a cup night with different commentators for the different tornements 2.the ref should be able to play advantage better 3. the use of facemapping using the camera in create a player 4. when trying to sign players in manager mode i don't want to see "barca does not have enough players" to sell me one 5. all fifa games are top but i feel if you listen to the fans the game will be number 1 every year already excited for 10, ps more realistic crowd and maybe a visible team bench? peace out
