Shame the game could not be developed on blu-ray then you couls have all that extra space for more stadiums and leagues but it isn't so stuff has to be removed.

EA were supposed to have said that Fifa 10 will be concentrating more on the manager side so I hope this is the case.

I would like to see just two modes, one for online play and one for the manager mode, this would save a bit of space to expand the mm side of the game.

There should be a league where you can play your mm side online, this would be fun.

The mm itself needs to rehauled, I cannot speak for the other leagues but as far as the English leagues go the promotions, relegations and cup qualifications need to be done properly and hopefully by someone who actually knows about the leagues.

I used to like fifa 08 as because you could score fantastic goals in fifa 09 they seem to be a bit samey after a while. Even if they were on target it would be something. Better players of course can do this anyway but most players can't. I like to see more of a balance.

The addition of the ref and his assistants are cool and it is great they get in the way sometimes I would like to see more sending off's for penalties. The advantage decision is still woeful, I still get called back when I'm clear on goal. You have to tone down where the AI cheats sometimes as well.

Get rid of the skill levels and have an auto skill level which adjusts to the level you play at, but this should be done over a series of games not per game. Make free kicks fun, most players can't score from them so there is not much point. make corners better and long free kicks. more detailed pitch and crowd. the stadiums are great. get rid of the cut scenes, leave them until the end of the game unless play is stopped. for example for a sub or subs, injury ETC where a much better animation could take place. at the end of the game then show the highlights.

Make sure the dates work out properly, matches fall on the same day sometimes, make it so the goalie can get sent off and booked more regulary. make a proper match ball per league. Have a custom team option which enters the bottom league. Transfers have to be better. Have a custom stadium for a created team, so it starts off basic but as you progress up the leagues you can improve it, make the changes visible.

Sponsers need to be more realistic and the terms more reasonable especially for lower sides.

more injuries and suspensions need to be better. Better kits. better camera views. I want to see all that is going on but i like fantastic graphics too. The commentators are great but it would be nice to have updated packs everso often.

I want to see other manager offers before I leave my existing club, this would be great for lower teams. An international offer would be great as well but this would mean mm to have an international element, as the game is done for the xbox I presume disc space will not allow it.

How about a match of the day like thing at the end of the week where you can see highlights from the best games of the week? Player ratings need to be sorted out as well they are woeful. I have won games 5-0 and still some of my players have got a 4 or 5. I'm not sying they should be given a high mark just for winning but there should be some consistentcy. Also players tend to get low marks when the team lose. Is it not possible to play well and lose or draw?

Perhaps a forward idea would be to have fifa 10 as the base for the game and in the future you could download updates or game addons to expand the game, chargeable of course. These add-ons could go on your hard drive.

You should be able to give cash plus players in the transfer windows
Also during manager mode the season should continue through the summer
so you can pick friendlies and be invited to friendly tournaments such as
Emirates cup, Amsterdam cup.
Also players should have hot and cold spells depending on playing time a performance
It would be great if an players could join in the arena
Make the goalkeepers slightly more difficult to score against
It would be good if the be a pro mode was similar to the madden be a pro
where you can hire agents, train, press conferences etc
overall the current 09 game is excellent

a more realistic manager mode and better fans who celebrate when their own team scores and not when the other. The fans should be sperated like in real life.

Every Summer get a new budget

Fifa 2010 could do with more set piece controls... pre planned before the match. It would be good to be able to select which players go forward for free kicks and corners as you seem to have players with little to no heading ability from midfield in the box when your centre backs are nowhere in sight. The same going for defending set pieces you should be able to choose if you want zonal or man marking and whether you want a player on the post. The taller players doing the marking as opposed to midfielders again.
I would like to see more control for the free kicks as the current set-up does not give you enough options... in order to do this you could have the player able to select more than one set piece taker and they all stand around the ball. You press a certain button and a player will run over the ball before someone else strikes it, press another and they will do a decent lay off to someone ready to strike who isnt standing right next to them. Also the ability to take a quick free kick could be introduced possibly keeping the same camera angle for a few seconds while the player goes down so as to not affect gameplay as much.
I would like to see the game become as much like watching a real football match as possible. In order to do this I think it might be good to try to get licenses for referees... at least for the premiership and uefa. After these two I dont think they are as important and can continue along the path they have currently. I would like to see the refs become more involved in the game and send off goalkeepers during big fouls. Also during big games or closely fought games there could be some handbag style pushing after fouls with the ref coming between them trying to calm them down.
The 4th Official should be visible aswell and shown using the board for every substitution not just one individual one... although the ability to skip should still be available.
Also pregame you should be able to select vice captain so should the captain be subbed or sent off. The armband should be shown being passed on.
I would like to see managers in the game and the possibility to create a manager should a new one come into the league. This wouldnt need the most extensive kitting just options of a suit and pick which colour tie or a choice of tracksuits with colour changeable, each having the particular clubs badge on the chest as usual. There should be a visible bench with the subs sat on wearing the teams tracksuit.
Prior to making substitutions the players should be selected to warm up and then after a period of a few in game minutes press a certain button for them to be called back and ready to come on. If a sub is needed immediately they are more likely to pick up injuries.
Players should be injured more considering what caused it as a concussion for a foul on someones shins doesnt make sense. There should be more long term injuries and use of medical stewards in high visibility jackets carrying severe injuries out on stretchers. Also players should get hamstring injuries even when not being challenged, although not as frequently as usual injuries. There should be more likelyhood of aerial collisions leading to fouls and injuries especially when a player comes in at pace against a player who is static.
There should also be a button to press to try to effectively shield the ball out of play when an opponent is trying to stop it, without you having to touch the ball.
If a player commits a bad foul that causes injury they get booed by fans every touch of the ball.
When scoring a goal the celebrations are a great addition but some lack the team 'mobbing' of the goalscorer after it. Included in the next version could be celebrating with the players warming up or the managers should they both be added. also possibly have some OTT celebrations like jumping over the barrier or taking your shirt off to earn yellow cards.
I would also like the ability to dive and referees giving bookings for bad attempts at it. The linesmen could make the occasional mistakes with regards to offside decisions depending on how poorly positioned they are.
After the match the video could show opposing players taking their shirts off ready to swap shirts, if not actually showing them doing it.
When winning trophies the players are actually shown holding it and being presented it. If a team reaches Wembley they are shown player by player collecting medals from both teams.
Snow should have a blanket effect and the more that comes down it should turn the pitch white.
During manager mode and be a pro mode there should be more international fixtures. With players coming back tired and possibly with injuries. As oppose to announcing the squad of the country you're playing in at the time it should just show your squad list and next to each it has a simple tick / cross box.
Under 21 Internationals should also be introduced even if only for the bigger countries.
To make the FA Cup more lifelike they should have some non league teams in the game even if only kit colour and team name are accurate. Some of these should go through to reach the later rounds.
A Possibility to add to manager mode could be takeovers whereby clubs will recieve a massive boost to their transfer funds.
Players should put in transfer requests towards the windows and even before the window is open you could 'declare an interest / scout a certain player.
Managers ( if added ) should be more likely to be sacked should their team hit bad form.
Certain players should wear gloves during winter months / snow conditions.
The Big 4 In England ( Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool ) should always be battling in at least the top 6 of the premiership should you play manager mode.
If playing Be A Pro mode it should not affect the leagues in which teams are located when out of the game mode and in team management.
Gameplay aside there should be easier way to change kit numbers as there is no option I can find during manager mode and even when not in a game mode it takes a long time using the edit player option.
Teams that are qualified for the Uefa Cup / Champions League should be in it during the first season of manager mode and not have to wait another one. The winners of both should meet in the Super Cup and the Champions League winners should play in the World Club Championship.
The russian league should be included as they contain the Uefa Cup winners and are being repeatedly invested in.... or at least Zenit and CSKA be added to rest of world teams.
During manager mode matches should not be scheduled for the same day as in reality that would be impossible.

Here are a list of things that I as a fan of Fifa series demands:
1. Practice Mode[The Arena doesn't cover training for things such as corners ,etc].
2. We should be able to choose if we want a high/medium/low transfer frequency in the transfer market in manager mode because to me what keeps manager mode exciting is when big players move to big clubs. That brings up another thing, some transfers are far too unrealistic..Van Persie to Blackburn? Steven Gerrard to Athletico Madrid? cmonnn EA.
3. Please allow us to change Player numbers in manager mode. I hate having my new star striker wearing the number "2".
4. We should be able to edit players freely with no problems, why are we restricted from making 99 rated players for example?

On the other hand this game is magnificent and here are the things I love and I believe should be kept:
1. The realism in terms of graphics is superb.
2. Arena is a great way to pass time during loading.
3. Custom Tactics and Custom formations are my favorite new feature, they can completely change the way your side plays and it gives you complete control of the gameplay of your squad.
4. I love that we can manually improve our players in manager mode when they get experience because in Fifa 07 on PS2 everyone had a planned out career which you could barely change, for example, I took a 72 rated striker and scored 20+ goals yet he only improved to 74. However if i did this in Fifa 09 i could improve him to a much higher and more deserved rating.
5. The Scouting is GREAT however i wish that you guys would put a default picture instead of the white body frame as it kinda reminds me that this player is fake which takes a little bit of fun out of the gameplay. =(
6. The gameplay is great.

Please put more stadiums into the game. Soccer/Football stadiums are probably the most interesting stadiums ever built. If you put these stadiums into the game, people will get to see this wonderful works of art. Stop adding generic stadiums and start adding real stadiums that are played in by real teams. the game stops to lose it interest after a whole when all you do is play in the same stadium match after match. It doesnt make any sense that you will go through the trouble of adding these fake, no name generic stadiums but you wont add the real ones. SO PLEASE ADD MORE OF THE REAL STADIUMS IN FIFA 10 AND STOP ADDING THE FAKE GENERIC ONES.

when you take a free kick in the arena there should be a wall put in front of you like the yellow one behind the goal. every active controller should be able control a player in the arena instead of just one.

realistic transfers like Eto'o is not gonna go to Bolton or Kaka is not gonna go to real Madrid. Have more commentators like for Spanish teams have people with a accent. Change the grass color like in fall or winter the grass should be yellower. When a person is hurt see them crying or in pain. Let the commentators argue abit they always agree with the ref. See the reserves or subs sitting with the manger Thank you

add alot more choices in create a player like more cleats, realistic faces, see the ref, more celebrations and reactions to cards. CREATE a manger, better fans, training mode, smoother play, more choices of running like Nani is going to run in a different style than Buffon

1- when defending there are times when the player is stuck on chasing the guy with the ball.. and sometimes you need to cut his angle off or his passing lane.. and because he gets stuck chasing the defender it leaves the defense too vulnerable.
2- this game has excellent passing, but its soo good that too many non intended passes get by the defense. In fact we had seen how many players now use 6-7-8 defenders in their back line because midfielders dont intercept passes anymore (really hurts the realism)
3- Having said that.. FIX the dang formation abilities.. it makes for crap gaming when a person has 8 defenders.. you should not be allowed to have one solid line of defenders exceeding 6 plyrs.
4- Counter attacks are too wild, I cannot stand it when my defender completly stops his marking because of a chip through ball.
5- on counter attacks defenders are way too slow. when eto- messi- or ronaldo blow right by you it makes for an unrealistic game.
6- menus... geez menus are a mess.. make the more user friendly.. i don't even go into lobbies anymore because you guys basically hid the menu.
7-late in a game when you play back to your keeper.. and he miss handles it.. wtf!? the ball seriously bounces 20 (virtual) yards off his feet and lands right into the opponents feet.. BS, I have seen that happen in my favor and I am upset by it.
8- a practice mode would be fun, you could practice some crossing, some around the box play.. I love the arena option, but a practice pitch would be cool
9 referee should not get in the way... I know it happens in real life.. but in fifa 09 it happens a little too often.. and most times in really affects a good game.
10- I personally score way too frequently on corners.. it almost unfair, I think the defender should still have more of an edge for corners.. I simply win headers to easily now it its shifts the game too fair in one favor ... corners, crosses, air balls are all areas where the game could be re worked in some way
11- start banning players who cheat the gain ranking.. if you check the top 20 plyrs most have in their recent games.. a list of 3-0 victories against the same person, with no shots ever taken.. wtf!? get rid of these playrs and a new trend of no so many cheaters may start
12- through balls have improved.. but every now and then you get the occasional player who has found a hot spot where it is virtually undefendable
13- I mentioned this a bit already, but if a good denfeding player is a anticipating passes, that defender should do a better job of intercepting.. too many times a player i blocking the passing lane and the it feels like the ball passes right through his feet.. worst if its in the box and it makes for an unconvincing goal.
14- sometimes in 1v1 with the keeper.. a player takes goalie out early, but then stops the keeper's charge.. well on his fall back the keeper tends to be completely off the cernter of his goal. which allows the offensive player an easy gap to shot.. keeper should be sharp about centering himself for a quick shot
15- limit the amount that a playr locks his run.. many times in quick denfesive situations you want to switch to an entirely different playr to avoid help defend a last pass and it won't switch off.. switching playrs has been a problem for 3 fifa games now, and it dramatically needs to improve.. especially when that time is essential to making a good stop defensively.
16- when making a pass. sometimes the opposition is making a run to intercept the pass.. but the recieving player stands in the same spot.. that playr should be able to push and go to to the ball as well.. I hate how my playrs just wait for the ball to get taken away in mid pass.
17- I use to love manager mode and love this new be a pro seasons.. but there are things missing.. it feels really empty when you finish a season. there just isn't enough emphasis on the glory of winning a championship.. I mean we as players should get chills when winning the ECC (<--you already know people hate this name) .. when you finish the mode.. its a real let down.. it just never really lives up to the tens of hours that you put into it.. s*** finallys destroy a good story.. think about that one.
18- and lastly we are steping into an era where gamers want to compete for prizes and fun events, FIWC has been incredible to this game, but its only once a year.. Champions of gaming is another step towards that direction and im thankful for that. I would love to see a future 10v10 challenge.. or 11v11 someday.. but more hosted tournaments is a key to the future of many of EA's games.. I just hope you guys notice how much gamers are craving that.
On a final note.. as much as we want bugs to be fixed, I am so pleased with this years version of 09.. i have been around since the mid 90's and will always adopt this game as a must have every year. There have been so many 'wow' moments that it leaves me speechless.. thanks guys

I got some Ideas for the Next Fifa Street

1National Teams and teams from fifa 09 e.g. Arsenal FC. England.

3. More players like Micah Richads and Kolo Toure.

-Foreign teams (not english) take big flags. This is good

-and you can see the away fans in a ground which is also good.

However these can be improved.

-English club fans always take england flags to hang down at away games. This is not in the game and Liverpool fans take big flags. Bring back 'you'll never walk alone for Liverpool and the other clubs that play it

-There is no police line (English games) in between rival supporters and usually no gates or fences between rival fans from foreign countries.

-Champions league and cup matches should be played at night!

-As you come to January/February Time maybe a few matches would feature snow

-Weather would be worse and it should gradually get dark during matches in winter games

ALL OF THESE ARE REALISTIC

Some times you play important games in manager mode which relies on other results in the league. You should be able to either,

1 - Have score updates whilst playing
2 - Option to view highlights of a match (not knowing the score before hand obviously)

you should be able to see all player statistics from his own team from all seasons.and all other statistics from all leagues in fifa. (in manager mode)

As a Ex PES fan I'll state out the problems in Fifa 09 to make Fifa 10 all that perfect

Player reactions are too slow to loose balls and miss kicks as so on

Trigger run button is not that reactive even less reactive than fifa 08 and a trigger run button to get the player running towards you not just away for quick 1-2's

"Player Knock on" should be a button

too many fouls even after gettting pass a player they still manage to bring you down

Replays after goals are need to show more preplay not just the final kick from that weird angle

player activation is all messed up even if you activate a player manually its too slow

Would love to see the lift the cup not just celebrate on the pitch as they do in a normal match

save goals to hard drive not just upload

And finally for me, low ground cross never works it should be the through ball button that allows a fast across the box ground cross for a on coming CF to tap in too many times i have had 2 against 1 in the box tried to pass across the box and its and its too slow, behind or too infront of my CF always intercepted

There should be a feature where you can't just put a sub right away on the pitch without making them warm up first. You should be able to select a player and give an option for him to warm up and being able to see them (wearing bibs) warming up on the sidelines (ie stretching, running etc) Then when you go back to team management it should give you a percentage of how ready the player is. If you send the player right in, he should perform poorly until he gets more involved with the game.
