When I played Fifa 09 I realised that it was improved a little more than previous years.-especially because now in fifa 09 you can actually score from a longer distance.-make the comp. team more realistic and thoughtful because, what i do is make all these chances of goals and the other team is simulated to score against me so all of a sudden they start attacking you should make them create more realistic plays not scoring from random places like they are programed to. -During the season in BE A PRO MODE you should be able to change your cleats,hair(over time)(or if its raining your hair should go down like in PES),height(if u start of as a 14-18 year old),sleeves,tucked/untucked,tape(and make tape only go around your rist not your entire hand,etc.NOT JUST KEEP YOUR SETTINGS THE SAME FOR 4 SEASONS. -You should be able to train with the team you are in before every game.FOR EXAMPLE-like in the arena but in your home stadium there should be a coach, teammates,and cones. There should be specific things you have to train like 3 reps of shooting, 3 reps of sprinting. Not too many activities or it will get annoying. Just make them different every game. And watch your player do push ups and sit-ups. Then maybe if you are training before a final a 2 min. scrimmage.(this could help your created player improve and gain exp.) everybody during training should have a training uniform and if its a popular team or international team make it the official training jersey.(if its a random team from the coca-cola league atleast make the training uniforms the teams color) The weather should also be different every practice. If its raining make it possible to where pants and long sleeve training jerseys. The managers should where Jackets if its cold too. -In be a pro you should be in the bench for atleast the first half(make these halves short so you won't have to wait so long) the first couple of games. And watching the game from that point of view. Then the coach or manager should tell you to warm-up before the second half or whenever he tells you to.(so you do some dribbling and sprinting on the sidelines before you start) Iater in the season if the fans like you and your about to go into the game, they should show you on the stadium tv taking off you jacket or training jeresey and the fans should go wild because they see your about to play. -The fans should be more into the game like in the world cup game in 2006. And if the stadium is full and its important match the camera should shake when you score a goal.(if its be a pro the camera should change when you score to show that. -during the game there should be different cameras like in real life. for example- if you are running in the sidelines the camera should be right behind this player.You know what I mean. -THESE ARE EXTRA THINGS THAT ARE REALY ADVANCED BUT IM JUST SAYING-you should live in your own house in be a pro mode(almost like the sims but don't get carried away) and drive to practice and games(not literaly drive but get in your car and it'l load and then you'l be outside the stadium). change clohes.go on the air plane for away games.become coach after you retire.

Hi! My name is Constandinos and i come from cyprus. Ok FIFA 09 was better that FIFA 08 but a lot of features that PES has are missing eg. creating your own teams with custom logos, making kits, saving replays etc. Apart from these as we know EA puts the hand deep in licences. So Why don't you put the Greek Superleague in FIFA 10, or some teams(3) from MARFIN LAIKI cyprus league (omonoia, apoel, anothosis)? All the people i heard want to see some of them, and i think this will make the gap between PES and FIFA reduce to the minimum at least in cyorus and greece. Ah and something else. Why don't you put guys the Cyprus National Team which is better than other national teams that are in the previous FIFAs?
Hope that you heard me and hope to see some of the teams i have said on the next FIFA. If yes i will definetely buy it as i did with FIFA 09.

Maybe we could have a free roaming mode so when you are playing be a pro you can buy cars and drive them around. you could team up with rockstar to make houses to give everyone that realistic feal. stadiums should have real-life names instead of ivy lane and euro park. Also have a champions league mode and world cup and euro championships and Uefa cup. Teams should automatically be changed around to lower fatigue. When teams get promoted and relegated in manager mode they should go back to their original league on over game modes and other manager modes. On be a pro you should be able to play in FA and Carling cup games for english teams and the other cups for foreign teams. More celebration cut-scenes and when players badly miss the crowd should chant as well as when they score. As well as this when you go to tackle another player you should tackle them instead of tackling the payer who doesn't have the ball and get sent off. You should be able to argue with the refs and dive so players can get booked as well as when you tackle by mistake and the other player trips over you, you shouldn't get carded. Finally when the ball hits someones arm it should begiven as handball and whenyou get fouled then cross the ball in it should be given as a goal not a free-kick. Stadiums: Please include all of the stadiums for next seasons premier league teams. If not then at least include White hart lane, stadium of light, goodison park and city of manchester stadium.
Weather: Have all weather conditions like snow, rain, sunny, night etc for all stadiums. also make weather conditions change during matches , and also if u are playing a game that starts at sunset(Dusk) make it change to night time after the half time break or whenever.
Manager Mode: -international friendlies and world cup qualifiers
- youth academy
- make players earn less exp points because they get way to much.eg; craig gordon has gone from starting off at 80 to 98 OVR in just 2 and a half seasons.
-fixturing- make it so you dont have to play fa cup and premier league games on the same day,
- training mode
-transfer market- make other teams more active in transfer market because they do nothing. and if a team signs a good player make them use that player instead of just leaving him in the reserves for the rest of his career. eg: on my man. mode spurs signed casillas but they have never used him and instead they use gomes.

FIFA 09 is the greatest football/soccer simulation that the FIFA franchise has produced to date. Incredibly fluid and realistic, FIFA 09 offers an incredible experience both online and offline, exceeding above all competitors. Now looking forward to FIFA 2010 I am about to propose a list of changes and improvements to EA and hope that they will truly take a look at my ideas. If anyone wants to comment on my proposal please feel free to do so. This is the first of two of my posts. This is pretty lengthy so if you don’t feel like reading then just check out my simplified “wish list.”

Okay I am going to break down my proposal into sections so it can be easy to follow. My sections are the following:

EMOTION GAMEPLAY AUTHENTICITY ONLINE OFFLINE GAME MODES MISCELLANEOUS

Let’s begin…

Emotion
Emotion, emotion, and emotion. Emotion is what keeps football/soccer the world’s greatest sport. We have seen our beloved squads climb to ultimate glory and ecstasy and we watched them fail. True football fans have experienced their ups and downs and whether we like it or not it is what makes the game beautiful.
Real emotion was the one true element that FIFA 09 lacked. When a team would score, the celebrations would only be a couple of seconds long and the cut scenes would constantly be recycled. There are only 4 or 5 cut scenes celebrations and while they’re pretty it’s annoying to see the same thing over and over again. In FIFA 2010, it would be so great to see a vast variety of celebration cut scenes and it will only enhance the realism of the game.
Another factor of emotion to enhance upon is the crowd. Using authentic team chants like those of AC Milan and Manchester United could only add to the experience. The crowd volume in FIFA 2010 should be ferocious and lively. In FIFA 09, it was great to hear the crowd yell when you score but it should be even better next year. Derbies and rival matches should be chaotic as banners should be flying across the stadium and the crowd should be hectic. A prime example of emotion is the Istanbul Champions League Final between AC Milan and Liverpool which Liverpool won. Plus, if a team wins a tournament give us a real and long celebration not just a team posing for a picture in the middle of the park.

Gameplay
The gameplay in FIFA 09 is close to perfect and these suggestions should be helpful. There has never been a game of FIFA where the player can control the ball on his thigh. The player would lift his leg to control a ball when it would’ve been much easier (and more helpful to continue the flowing pace of the game) if he was able to just let the ball bounce on his thigh. Adding this element would only propel FIFA’s unprecedented realism.
Another factor that should be implemented in FIFA 10 is better runs made by your teammates and more awareness of the offside rule.
Also, the opponent team should put a lot more pressure when they’re down a couple of goals and should be more conservative when they’re winning.
Shirt pulling should be incorporated into the game and the player can either get out and punished with a yellow or get away with it.
Diving should also be incorporated and if the referee realizes this, then the player can get booked. But the referee can also make the wrong choice.
As you can probably tell, I believe that referees in FIFA 2010 should be more humanized, being capable of error, as well as the linesman.
FIFA 2010 should incorporate the blistering pace at which the game is played. Yes, the player should be able to choose what speed option he/she prefers but players with speed and great technical ability, i.e. C. Ronaldo and Pato, should be like rockets and can dictate the game.

Authenticity
How can EA have a UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE game a couple of years ago and not put in into their FIFA games? Although it seems the UEFA CL has partnered with PES, we know that EA can lock a deal with them. We want the CL license.
Put teams like Ghana and Iran in the international squad and fix teams that don’t have the correct badges and kits (i.e. Palermo and Bologna of the Serie A)
Pre-game cut scenes should include the team warming up (a little more depth than FIFA 09) and the players walking out onto the pitch being escorted by children. Also both teams should shake hands before the game begins.
Put coaches in the game. If not the exact coaches for every team, at least include the likes of Mourinho, Ancelotti, Sir Alex Ferguson, Scolari, Wegner, etc. you get the picture.

Online
Players who quit in the middle of an online match should get reported and stats should show how many times a player has quit and can get a ranking so people will know before they play. Or something of the sort.

Offline
AI should be a little crisper.
Teams should automatically alter their formations and starting 11 to keep things fresh.

Game modes
Manager mode needs a make over this year and FIFA 09’s manager mode is outright unacceptable.
We should be able to edit kit numbers.
The transfer market has to be revamped.
Teams should play pre-season friendlies.
Players should go on national duty.
Injuries should be a little longer, depending on the situation.
Practice minigames could be a fun idea.
A youth system should be implemented per team.
Create-A-Team should be made where we can design our own jerseys, badges, and even sponsors.
We should be able to edit cleats, jerseys, and number fonts.
Practice mode.
More depth in the arena.
Indoor mode (6 v 6, 4 v 4) etc.
Relive moments such as Manchester United v Chelsea in the CL Final and show clips depicting what happened in that game.

Miscellaneous
Like FIFA 09, FIFA 2010 should have international commentators.
Save replay to our own “FIFA LOCKER.”
Show highlights of real games, i.e. best goals.
Maradona and Pele should be in the Classic Team.
Choice between long, medium, and short sleeve length.
Weather should change automatically. If it’s December players should wear gloves and long sleeves.
Goalies can be able to choose between pants and shorts.
We can easily choose if it can be snow, pouring rain, sunny, etc. We don’t want overcast to see whether or not it will happen.
Field deterioration.
Doctors and Medical staff run out to the field to aid injured players.
STRETCHERS!!!!
Coach cut scenes
More facial expressions.
Weather changes during in-game.
Players coming out of tunnel, talking to each other in the tunnel, and walking back into the tunnel during halftime/end of 2nd half
More cut scenes when a player misses a chance.
Crowd eruptions/ crowd cut scenes / flares being seen in the crowd.
Please FIX MANAGER MODE!!!
More stadium choices.
Real life referees from La Liga, EPL, Seria A.
Downloadable content for new cleats and balls as they are released throughout the year.

the referee and lines man want recoding due the fact everytime i play the ball in when running down the wing all of a sudden the lines man says offside 1 i play football for real lol the other is the referee ya should beable to hit him i think to be honest haha

You Should Be Able To Build Your Own Stadium!

I have some suggestions, I'll try to put some of them here!

1 - First of all, I think Fifa on PC needs to be simmilar FIFA on Playstation 3. I'm talking about two especific things: graphic engine and referee and assistants. The first one it's evident. When you play fifa 09 on playstation 3 the reality level and the controlling of players are completely different from PC. The second thing comparing to FIFA 09 in Playstation 3 it's about referee and assistants. It is unbeliveable that FIFA still have referees like "stones". Come one... Make the lines man move his arms and move up the flag. It reproduces the stadium sensation in the game.
Please, move on to the future and change FIFA 10 for PC. Make FIFA on PC appears like on Play 3 or Xbox.

2 - My second suggestion I think it's innovator and I have never seen some idea like this. What about make players interacting in the match... More exactly interacting with the referee? Think in a situation like this: You are conducting the ball near by goal. But the goalkeeper makes a foul and the referee doesn't think like that. This "new idea" can change this situation. If, somehow, we had a botton or a command to talk with referee and tell him that our team were stolen. So, this command could have a limit. Like... If you make a lot of pressure you can receive a red card. But if you do in a correct way, calm, you could have another situations and the referee can give more fouls for your team. Of course that this new command will change the form of referees act in the game and we'll have different referees. I think this could be a magic surprise that will change the form of interact with the game and the different matches. And I can go more... This could be a point in relation to Konami's game... This could be a triumph comparing with PES.

So, I hope I make myself understandable, and I hope I could help ME and YOU to make a better FIFA!

I think there should be a "you are the referee" part of the game where you get to officiate the game and make decisions about a computer programed game. If you do a terrible job, you get fired. Do a great job and you get to officiate the major games of major leagues and tournaments.

Please put lots of work into Manager Mode, it really needs a complete overhaul, it seems to be gettin worse. Or even better release FIFA Manager on PS3, it could be linked to FIFA 10 like 04 was! Please!

and i really don't like the players atitude espcially at the begining of the game , they dont shake hands, appaluse and dont smile which i find disturbing.
i hope you would consider adding saudi teams. therefore i wish you can work more on the players features and make them look more siimilar to real ones, and you shoud edit the height and names of the players.

After the game release, would it not be possible to have additional stadiums available to download from marketplace at a cost (eg 500 MSP for 1 new stadium).
I for one would spend a lot of money on additional stadia. As i understand it, this would be possible as it has been done for FIFA 09 with 'commentary add-on' packs.

Finally, offsides...... the rule clearly states that being level qith the defender is ONSIDE! There has been many occasions where the 2 lines in the replay have been directly on top of each other! I mean...what ever happened to giving the attacking player the 'benefit of the doubt'!!!!!

1) The option to have an online friendly game where a group of friends can be both teams. ie. 3 friends v 3 friends (all from the same party)

2) In manager mode, midweek games MUST be at night. Playing a midweek game in daylight just makes no sense.

3)Take the cut-away scenes/animations to the next level!

4)Improve goalkeepers reaction times after theyve just made a save, enabling more 'double' saves

Can i take this opportunity to congratulate the FIFA 09 team in producing the best football title Ive played. I have played the PES series since the beginning as it was a better game but FIFA 09 has taken the genre to a level well in advance of its competitor.

i play online more than anything and there are certain things which always leave me frustrated.

often the game will freeze during substitutions, happening more frequently
why is manchester Utd vastly overrated in this game? ronaldo can run the wing and literally beat every played and score, but evra catches up to messi. really? cmon.
every played on the man u team can out hustle any played on another team. how can evra or ferdinand out hustle ibrhaimovic? i though the collision system prevented that.

fix the keepers. i mean massive overhaul. if i could i would send you vids on stupid things the keepers do. ridiculous things. or go watch a few really close online games. when i play MM, the keepers are fine, but with human players, the keeper's always make errors in animations.

especially during club mode, every cheeser online uses man u, and they are hard to defend agaisnt because of ronaldo, rooney, tevez, their ridiculous defense, and speed. its almost unreal how they are literally the toughest team in the game.

please even teams out especially ronaldo bcuz he is a gauranteed goal score in this game, no matter who defends. there are too many disparities b/w teams. put in control a keeper and create club. and FIX the KEEPERS

i think that the new fifa10 should have the real names of the stadiums.

club editing, club creating; more sponsors money in manager mode when playing in smaller championships; the ref should make some mistakes like in real world; more in game videos like players lose control when got a red card or something like that, it should euro and world championship and should be able to manage internacional teams in manager mode and a online manager mode.

- more asian and african teams

My gripe about FIFA on the PC in general is that it is clearly the version that EA consider least important when placed next to the Playstation versions. Alright, its meant for consoles I hear you all say, but if that were so, why make a version for PC at all then?

EA, stop half arsing the PC version like you have been doing.

I want the up to date stadiums as seen in the Playstation versions.

I want Be A Pro to last longer than 3 years and I want all the bells and whistles that come with the playstation version such as getting into the england squad, captaining your side etc.

I want the level of depth in the tactical management and player management that is seen on the play station.

I want to be able to select attributes on players like on the play station.

I want all this, but I want it on MY chosen platform which is the PC - and I know all the other PC players out there agree. Don't alienate your audience, or we'll just buy PES next time. I DON'T WANT another cheap re-skin of the previous version.

When you win the Norwegian Tippeligaen you don't get to join ECC next season! I think that's wrong because Rosenborg is very famous in Champions League and has been i many years!

I think they should do what Grand Theft Auto IV and Burnout Paradise
have done really well and that is to release a pay-able update which updates Fifa09

...I mean how can they expect loyal fans to cough up another £40 for what
they have already bought. I mean how can EA change what is

This new Fifa09 Ultimate Team is a sweet idea but were not going to GAME or Gamestation
to cough the money up there doing it online. If EA release an update (say £25) but they show
what they have updated to fans on websites via videos not photos, I'm sure many fans would pay it.

And if you think about it the game would be more running of the hard drive than the disc
which would mean more data (i.e. stadiums, players, player data, A.I etc.)

I'm seriously hoping someone from EA Sports is reading this and it can get my point across.
TRUST ME when I say this, an Fifa10 update would totally wipeout PES for good.

You wouldnt have to worry about producing costs (i.e. DVD burning and shipping etc.) just an

the referees should be like the players, not everything is perfect they should make an odd mistake hear and there. in be a pro you have a life outside of football like going to clinics and is picked up in the newspaper also interviews.

i have played fifa 09 on ps2 ,ps3 and the wii and the are all different... i think they should all be as close as possible.
the wii i know is more of a family fun game. but why should hardcore fans miss out on what others who have different platforms are getting.. there's no BE A PRO at all on the wii... something i think is extreamly missed!

A fantasy draft in manager mode would be fun, more in depth manger mode with training, stadium editor, create a team, just more customization.
