All trophies should be legit like the F.A cup and Premier league because trophies like the champions league are differant to what they really look like. better game play even for ps2 version as most people buy the game for the ps2. make the players look better for example steven gerrard is huge and fat on fifa 08 he isnt in real hes just average size with a bit of muscle. I also think players should increase in value if they have a good season for example if you score alot of goals with a player like Henry even though he is around the age of 30 if he scores 35 goals in one season he should increase in value (dont make this to easy when players get older make it difficult for you to score with them and easyier to be tackled etc...

I was also very disapointed with the "BE A PRO" mode, yes it would be great if you could play a few seasons and i agree with donovan's post you should be offered transfers and be able to live the life of a football player buy buying cars and houses.

the final thing that would make fifa 09 a top seller is if players were the OVR they should be for example gareth barry is OVR of 80 when really he should be at least 84 and he doesnt look anything like he does in real all of these minor things could make fifa 09 amazing.

Oh and one final thing bring tips up for new player on how to sign players and manage your finances easier. making online play better would also be a big thing for most players (new modes for online play etc...)

Here's a suggestion to EA, it might be long and boring but very important;

The gameplay in FIFA 08 was very unrealistic for the most part. FIFA 08 suffers from poor player AI which brings about poor teamwork. The thing with players is that they are stuck up to only a part of the pitch. They follow some sort of rails and stay loyal to their positions. I say give computer controlled players the mentality that they could move anywhere around the pitch not just that area which corresponds to their position. Give them the mentality that their priority is to coverup open spaces and the BALL on defense and FIND open spaces in attack. As it is in FIFA 08 they are very concerned with the player that they seem to be marking so even if the ball passes right next to them, they will not challenge it because they think that's the responsibility of another defender. So the best they do is stare hopelessly as their team gets scored. Thats why I say that EA should work on the commands that they give the AI controlled players. If they gave them the mentality to cover spaces so that the ball doesnt FIT, even if somebody is open somewhere it would not matter because the pass cannot be made to him because the ball doesnt fit, you see?. In attack, AI controlled midfielders dont push all the way up because they fear that they will leave the positions which they are very loyal to. If AI controlled midfielders are also given the freedom to move everywhere in attack and defense, they will be getting into an open area of the box to assist in scoring goals and on defense they will help greatly by congesting the goal area and the goal itself. So even if an attacking player is fast it doesnt matter because theres no room for the ball to get throught. In FIFA 08 only the centrebacks get into the box to defend and also no defender ever gets in the goal line, they think that only the goalkeeper belongs in there. That gives an attacking player alot of room behind the two defenders. So all the forward has to do is beat his one on one defending defense and its just him nd the keeper. Also in attack, AI controlled players never make diagonal runs because the computer thinks, Im a center forward, not a winger so they stay loyal to their center forward position and rail and do not make use of spaces on the wings where a ball could be played. In this case if the AI controlled CF has the freedom to move anywhere besides his rails he would say, hey, theres this space I could use, I know Im a CF but making a run onto the wings will help my TEAM score. All in all EA should really work on the MENTALITY of AI controlled players to make it possible to play a more team oriented game which football certainly is. As it is, its more like table football than it is an actual match. When you try to play team ball you get punished and are forced to play a more individual type game where you go to your best dribbler to score and always have to ask your players to make runs because they cannot make them themselves. You fell like youre going HEY MOVE to all your standing teammates. It gets frustuating because its more work and its no fun to always score with the same player either. Finally, PLEASE inflate the ball :) because is pretty flat and sluggish (at least on the PS2 it is) and is kinda big. Make the ball lighter, and smaller. That way it will be BOUNCIER and that will allow for more volleys and unpredictable play. In FIFA 08 you're not allow to volley much because when you try to most of the time your player waits until the ball gets to his feet before taking the shot when a volley would have worked better.

I hope the guys and girls at EA read this because I think it can help alot. If EA cannot get it right in FIFA 09 (its been about time already) they should join with Konami to get help with the gameplay. Otherwise, I will be making a switch to Konami's game.

1.I think it's better if it wos made easier to win at home and harder away since away and home records always seem unrealistically close or for a lot of the time it's better to play away.
2.When it's one on one, let the computer be more accurate with it's shots or wotever, they always seem to miss unless they're Rooney.
3. When it comes to transfers, some pricing is quite stupid, should make the signings more realistic rather than just constant upping of cost and salary every time it fails. Also make it unlimited price ranges when it's buying.
4. Make the crowd better, they are terrible at the moment.
5. Goal keepers need to be more conveniant. They move really awkwardly.
6. Players have no rights at the moment, and they should be allowed to leave or transfer to other teams if they want to rather than everything being in the control of the manager.
7. There should a track on players who are on loan to see their progress rather than knowing nothing about them.

But yeah those are the main things I think

first i want i want to thank you for service that made the link between EA and the peoble allover the world . after that please we want high graphical game on our pc and players tackling is not alot of peoble don't like fifa becoase of the low graphic and the slow players sprint as cristiano ronaldo & ronaldinho and alot has the same stlye all players has the same style of drribling ..... yes yes i foeget the most fault that i hate it that there are technics and skills can be made by the keyboard but we can't do it with the USB game bad or game joystick like Zidan move and so we want the controll on pc is the same on PS3 ........ and there is moves on PS3 is not on PC ..... so the most thing that make peoble or guys like and love the game is the GRAPHIC and the GAMEPLAY we want pc game mixed with the Gameplay and high GRAPHIC .... so you can make the graphic from low to high but real change from low to high not only changes in resulotion but the gameplay must be the same on PS3 and XBox360 the same on PC ( my computer) . and we want uefa chompios league mode in the same game . just one dream from us ( the arabs ) we dreams of arbian commentry like Essam Elshawwaly) the comment on ART . at all i want to thank EA GAMES for its games that is made us love games and we want thank you for all of yours game ( i liked UEFA Euro 2008 it was very good but the graphic still not !!!!!!! ) we hope you're listen to us . at all EA stills the best for ever .

Just a better transfer system. Instead of a few transfers in the English premier league, there should be 100s like there is in reality. It's pathetic when you start manager mode and there's 4 players up for sale in an entire league. More frequent and realistic transfers EA Canada

-Commentating much, much more realistic and maybe they raise their voices at times.
-Make your own celebration (like Uefa Euro 2008)
-A Be A Pro career, like you start at a rubbish club and have to play well in order to bring interest from other clubs to buy you etc
-Transfer rumors in manager mode and when a big player signs for you it shows them holding up the shirt.
-The keepers shouldnt always be AMAZING, like sometimes they make blunders, or drop the ball.
-Sometimes the Refs, linesmen etc get decisions wrong.

Should have all of the stadiums for every team, instead of having some made up one for teams such as man city and tottenham this makes the game unrealistic. Also the night games, the pitches look horrible and plastic instead of like the pitches through the day that look awesome.

There needs to be more international countries on the game e.g. Ivory Coast!!! There could also be some more leagues e.g. Russian Premier League, Blue Square Premier League! Also make it so when you have transferred all the players into there up to date teams and then go and make a team with manager mode it doesnt go back to the default squads after coming out of manager mode! Make players such as Gareth Barry and Klass Jan Huntelaar better and allow us to edit the players instead of limiting us withs them amount of points! There should also be better classic XI e.g. Pele, Zidane, Marradona, Garrincha, Lineker, Shearer, Bobby Moore, Bobby Charlton, Batistuta, Banks, Keegan, Bergkamp and Dalglish!!!

i think fifa pro online practice mode is amazing. I think fifa should do a mangement version of that were they back date it 10 years or so the days of shearer and the up a coming beckham and friends in which you play as a youngester amoung them at the age of 16 and carry out your own carer picking your position and secondary position and compete against them to get selected to play for the team you sign for and to be called up for england to play in friendies ect. I think that it if they could solve that it will be fantastic. HOwever the computer must be able to recognise that your good enough to play for the team and subbed or sold if your not reaching targets or playing well and even starting on the bench. Please take this idea into account and i think you'll have a winning formular

there should be a goal of the month and you should be able to make any transfer you want at any time in the season.

Can you add the Israeli National Team? The Israeli domestic League, Ligat Ha'al, would also be fun but the National team is the most important.

you should have managers stood on sideline like euro 2008, you should be able to see your bench and the players on it, you should have fifa officials holding the board up sayin how many stoppages there is and when a player gets subbed there number displayed, the fans should be more realistic not paper cut outs eg: like virtua tennis 3 the croud looks cool on that and they stand up and cheer when a point is won, make the players look more like the actual thing becuase fifa 08 they look a bit chubbyish and the skin is really shiny, you should also inclube when a player celebrates sometimes he takes off his shirt and you also include linesman and referee mistakes also goalkeepers sometimes make rubbish saves and mistakes.and finally the shooting should be a bit better you cant score long range goals that much which everyone loves to see now days. please read and try to include in fifa 09:)

A good idea would be to definitley try and push foward on the managerial aspects of the game, like clauses in contracts, swapping players, sponsors liek for differnt aspects of the game... such as boards etc. more ways to make money... like obviously in real life you dont get say 56 million to win champs league, make it more realistic and, have a contract as a manger, so then if you get more of the expectations they give you more money to spend, and if you have great prestige as a manger, why not have other teams try to get you, maybe even buy you out of your current team etc...

prices for players, its so cheap and its not to good... it has to be realistic prices i mean picking up Fabregas for liek 10 million well come on... or Nasri and Anderson for like 8 million, because of so much potential theys hould be worth more, instead of 29 year olds going up an extra 20% just cos they are in thier 'prime'

definitely linesmen, ref etc... maybe even booking and card more realistic like you can tap x or A, to have a go at the ref, or retalliate etc... like NHL when you start a fight :D:D:D:D:D

i agree with more teams also, more players better scouting options and more defined options within manager mode, such as youth teams and bring players up, poaching assistant manager and better backroom staff, instead of just upgrades, you can upgrade your trainign programmes but it would be better if you hired on the size of your club, money, your prestige etc...

much more clauses in sponsors and longer negotiation progress, like when you have a match... dont take it to the next week, take it to the next day, then either negotiate etc, or proceed to next match...

i think teh football aspect and playing is all in quick play etc, online, but manager mode should have so much more depth

have the fifa 06 approach in terms of the menu.Still have free roam but when start is pressed instead of having black and white.have the colours from the team you choose i.e Fifa 2004 of the kits. Have longer pre-match build up Have more in depth manager mode concentrate on it a bit more please.like fifamananger .Include blue square premier as well

In be a pro mode, i suggest you have it where you start off as aplayer when he's say 16.. and you work yrour way into getting signed by a team in a low division, and continue untill you get signed by better teams ect ect.. untill you decide you want to retire that player, like.. carry on through be a pro for loads of seasons.

Also, more realistic player ratings in player stats, and you dont just gain ovrl skill, season by season its dictated by your player statistics, and you can get better.. or worse.

everytime someone places a shot to the corner, its imposible for the keeper to save it, they just go down like in slow motion and its the same animation EVERY SINGLE TIME, this is very annoying. also the keepers are really dumb in every single aspect. after they save a shot they spent about ten minutes on the ground while the striker scores from the rebound. IMPROVE GOAL KEEPERS, then i will be happy.

What with all the complaints from referees in the modern game about a lack of respect, how about a game mode similar to Be a Pro where you control the referee. Obviously there are incentives to make the correct decision though you could, if you wished, award penalties for nothing or make horrendous calls. This could be a small edition or make a season mode out of it allowing players to control a referee through a whole season. Either way, this mode would show that being a referee isn't actually that easy and it might help to get referees a bit more respect.

as well as what i said the other day, you be able to have ball boys, also get Man City to sing blue moon, West Ham to sing i'm forever blowing bubbles, Birmingham City to sing keep right on and all the other main chants you here at a football match, you also could make a mode whats set in the 1970s, have all the original kits and some of the teams heroes from back then, plus the tackling can be alot rougher and the conditions on the pitch can be bad, the good old days when real men played football

they should make it as low as the conference like adding barrow afc in the game

i think u should make free kicks like they used to be where u have to choose where u kick the ball a taget where u want to kick the ball at the goal and a bar to choose the power u want to apply. also u should be able to see the ref on the field at all times not just wen there is a foul comiited. in addition a full youth squad for each team and wen your managing u can choose if they are ready to move up to the first team. i luv fifa

Have ALL country teams at least....all African teams, Singapore, Jamaica, Israel, Laos, everyone. I think it would be an awesome feature for the game.

It would be good if the referee and linesmen made mistakes occasionally eg sometimes you could be a yard offside but the linesmen makes a bad decision and says you're non side.
Also instead of upgrading your staff you hire them and like the players they gain experience.

In Fifa 09 can you please include more realistic camera angles- especially a broadcast style view. In Fifa 08 on the 360 & ps3, There are only a few angles to choose from! The tv angle in 08 looks very flat & not much like the one you view from on TV.
Please add more cameras in Fifa 09! Can you add ones that can also be customised.

make some player fight like in nhl 08. when someone tackles u or something you get to fight one on one like nhl 08 with the right stick

you should put some mini game modes like penalty shooout or ball juggling for points. some examples are in fifa 08 on psp you should expand on it

1. make a reserve team 4 every team
2. when a player is transfered to your team show them signing a contract and their presentation
3. when u sign 4 a team as a manager show yourself being interviewed and signing a contract
4. show the coaches,bench and other staff on the sidelines during the game
5. make the fans more realistic like throwing flares on the field
6. make the transfer market better like being able to trade players with other teams instead of buying them
7. be able to coach a national team in manager mode
8. be able to go to training sessions with your team and bring in youth players to train with the first team
9. make a career mode like madden 08 superstar mode

add more realistic features like people drinking,when the players get off the tour bus and changing room show the commentators.

y is there a premier league game on the same day as a fa cup game if ur playing in the uk say as man utd then a game next day that is sh#t. name the ecc uefa champions league have differenet staduim when u reach the ecc final each season

Add a 1080p mode. and training mode. penalty mode. better tackling visible reffere here them talk and fights. lift the cup more fanatic like the real lifer cut scenes when you win a cup. add the uefa champions leuage instead of ecc or efa. better shooting improve the shooting like when you shoot in the corner the keeper saves it every time improve that.

i think in fifa09 there can be more international teams that we can choose and not only 20teams. teams like iraq,iran,japan they have worked hard and we should show them respect for there work that they done. for example iraq they have earned to be in fifa09. they won the asian cup and on the road to the WM2010 South-africa. please give them a chance and put them in FIFA09 that is the dream of more then million iraqer that want that in fifa09 they can choose the iraq national team please EA please makes true.
