i think that we should make a life mode were you buy cars got out to night clubs or food places also you can get girlfriends or some thing and have houses or mansions
to live in then play on saturday or sunday or midweek games
also make the graphics more realistic and please please please change the commentators and make them more realistic e.g you skim the top of the cross bar it says that shot was way over
also you should get xp for using skill past people in mananger mode so you get more xp for your players
in mananger mode put newspaper gossip on it
put some different player on the front cover than rooney and ronoldinho
make the refs give you red card more often if it is a bad tackle e.g two footed takle
put weather in the game like storm rain snow sunny overcast and cloudy
put some more stadiums in the game there arnt bearly any
and start off in a second or third devision club and start in the acdemey then the reseveres then the first team after that if you do well you get sold to a better team working your way to the first devision

I think that in the next Version of fifa 09 should have
- better crowds and more realstic songs, crowds louder and crazier when a late goal is scored etc
- Maybe a legends team with all of football legends e.g.maradonna-pele-sir bobby charlton -cantona-zidane etc.
-Better manager mode more problems and hills to climb not so boring make it more harder and the end of year objectives harder and way more realist.
-You personally get to write the email to the bidder in the transfer season why you wont sell the player they are interested in.

Make player growths and atributes more realistic and make younger players have good attributes and some not so good.

- If a bad tackle has happened maybe afight could happen

- In a rival game maybe a fan could run on to the feild.

When wanting players to improve you have to train them yourself not as easy as just letting them improve all by them selves.

Bigger variety of referes and whilst a player is getting booked or spoken to you can hear the dicscussion.

If The offside is close and a goal has been scored maybe you can hear the p,layers celebrating and also the linsemen and referes talking about deciding whether a goal can be given or an offside.
Maybe The manager is interviewed after a big or theman of the match is interveiwd.

During a penalty shoot out you have to contain the presure by hitting a button or somthing.

Better celebrations and signature moves or free kicks such as c.ronaldos.

in manager mode you should have the the main menu kinda like skysports news with people like Andy gray & Jamie readnap dicusing the transfer and team new around the world. in the be a pro season you should make the player whom you are partake in training exercises on the training ground, which involve the other players. All top league clube should have the offical training kit. i think you should consider after match inteviews, on the next gen versions the user could use the microphone to talk in the interview. you should be able to cutomise the boots eg put name and number on them. also in be pro season mode the user should have more control wiether the player leaves the club

a lot more stadiums! when im playing in manager mode i never pick a team if their real stadium is not in it, it doesnt seem as realistic. the bernabeau,the maracana and hamden park should be included and also fenerbaches stadium, as it is one of the most hostile,atmospheric stadiums in football today.i know this is down to the fans but they should make stadiums like this harder to play in,as they usually are in real life.

i like a lot of the ideas like being able to argue with the ref and more cups but the one thing i would like to see on fifa 09 is to be able to dive in the penalty box if i am touched, might not be far but that is realistic even the best do it

look first you must make players look alike and have their deserved overall.for example in the french league you gave a random darkskin. guy a overall 70-79 and called him benzema.

I would like to see these things in FIFA 09

Manager Mode:

- In manager mode you often get reporters asking you about take-over bids but it never moves beyond early stages talks, you should make it where take-overs happen.
- In manager mode, managers should be allowed to be approached by other clubs and allowed to accept with the season continuing on from where they left their old club for their new club without simulating rest of season and should also be allowed to resign and take other jobs.
- In manager mode you should bring in real-life reserve and academy players and be able to sign them.
- In manager mode - transfer market - managers should be allowed to approach players in their last year of their contract with their playing club.
- There should be a search by name selection in transfer market.
- In manager you should put in World Cup Qualifiers (real-life groups) and the countries approach us to manage them aswell as managing our club or when we choose our club we should choose which countries to manage.
- Show manager celebrating his team's goal and handing/shouting out instructions to his players.
- Be able to design own manager and what he wears.

Commentary:

- Make it more realistic by keeping commentary up with play and don't shout "and the keeper's made a great save" whenever the ball went a mile.
- Get Clive Tildesely out and put in Martyn Tyler along with Andy Gray (them 2 make the best commentary team).
- Let Andy Gray talk us through the replay.
- Have Richard Keys introduce us to the match and Geoff Shreeves give us the team news e.g Liverpool have made 4 changes from their win over/draw with/defeat to (whoever they played in their last match) as Daniel Agger comes in for Martin Skrtel etc...

Keepers:

- Make keeper his real-life stance i.e when he's kicking the ball out of his hand etc...
- He can get booked for time-waisting, bringing player down inside box etc... instead of just getting sent off for handling outside box. (although keep this)
- When a penalty is being he can move off his line and make funny moves to put penalty-taker off e.g. Bruce Grobbelaar woobly legs.

Referee:

- Put him on the pitch during play instead of just running on when a player is being booked.
- Put in real-life referee's from top division in each league. e.g. Howard Webb-England and Alan Kelly-Ireland.
- Players running up to referee to argue decision.
- Be able to create own referee and same for player.

Tactics:

- Being able to change player taking free-kick/corner kick to suit the angle.
- Players fighting over whose taking penalty etc...

Salary:

- Aswell as players getting their salaries managers should get their own personal salary set aside from clubs money.

Stadiums:

You should put in the following stadiums:

Croke Park - Ireland
Lansdowne Road - Ireland
Celtic Park - Scotland
Ibrox - Scotland

be a pro mode online, you should get credits for playing those matchs without quitting oviously, also on credit, if a person quits you should still get credits based on the amount of time played and the scoreline

also if a person has rubbish internet aka 1 red bar they should be allowed on only 2 yellow bars and 3 green bars +, should be allowed to play, so no crashing will happen

i think there should be better gameplay, as in you can acually proform the skills in the match like if you are ronaldo with a high skill lvl, you should be able to skill the other guy out without getin tackled. For online and manager mode 2.

and Also, there should be a better update system that when a player is transferd out, thre should be a link on the game that you can go on and it automatically transfers the right players for you.

also, there should be the reffereee on the field like the other games!
the graphics should be superb as in, the facial features and movements should be almost or exactly accurate.

Am not going to say nottin bad because this game is so good enough all you really need is to put all the world countrys teams in it like El Salvador Canada Chile Japan

1. difficulty levels should be based on how good teams are and what the occasion is. I hate playing teams like Man U and it not being a challenge.
2. players overall ratings should be more realistic.
3. better croud graphics instead of stupid pixelated people.
4. in manager mode every season you should be aloud to create a new kit (and choose your manafacturer).
5. players hair, should get wet when its raining and players should slip in the wet.
6. the linesmen shouldn't always make perfect deciscions. Once i got offside when i was like a millimetre offside.

I think that FIFA should be able to get all licences for any sporting company no matter how small because they are the governing body of the world,including stadiums and details of team jerseys.I also think there should be some idea of virtual reality of the game where you have like a board and a ball with a post and you are actually playing. without controllers.

please bring back practice mode with all its old features but at the same time enhance so its better not like the old ones

i think that there should be a league where your one player and one player only and you start at a lower league then work your way up bigger clubs and bigger leagues and as you get to the better leagues and clubs the computer should slowly get harder

Abillity to import your own logos/sponsors when you create a club.
Adboards designed to specific stadiums. like in PES.
Better opening/closing/in game cinematics. Make it look like its actually on tv!
world compitions like champions league etc
Use nike adidas templates for kits on created teams
realisting goal celebrations
stretchers coming on the field cam showing when the player comes on the field
Start off with smaller lever clubs like it was before.
More detail on kits. IE benficas name are not on the bottom of their jerseys.
More realistic game scenarios. If I am A national team i should be able to beat a 3rd division english team with out any difficlty.
Fans should have flags. jerseys scarves. Flares would even be a nice adition.
Real schedules on manager mode.
Commentators should know more names.
Faster game play but not arcade-y?

In gameplay, I will mention only one. The user should not have to be in control of every player in order to do simple tasks like approach a ball or fighting for position. It is frustrating when a player ignores the ball right next to him.

In manager mode:

1. Two or more user controlled teams on one console
2. Online manager mode
3. Get a license for the Champions League tournament, the Club World Cup, etc...
4. Allow for scheduling of international club games outside of league play

What would be tremendous would be one game that incorporates club soccer, continental tournaments and qualifying like euro 2008, under 20 tournaments, the olympics, and the world cup and its qualifying. Either a user picks one club and one nation to control or they pick one individual to control. All of the national tournament qualifiers, the league play, the champions leagues, and the World Cup happen in their course of time.

I have bought a couple fifa games and usually rent instead of buy. However, if all of the aspects above were added, I would buy the game every year no doubt. With so many sports games incorporating more and more into their gameplay and dynasty modes, it seems fifa is being left behind when the league play and national play of soccer is the most desirable sporting process to capture in a game.

just to add to my list below this:
-having classic teams, club teams of the nineties or even nation teams...maybe the dominant Brazil team that won the world cup consecutively in 98, 02 would be great to play with or classic teams such as the manchester utd team that won the treble in '99.....just saying this becasue the madden series has tons of extrra classic teams and I was wondering why FIFA doesn't do the same
-having extra teams such as the F50 vs. Predator teams would be great to play with...these are little details that can boost FIFA 09 ratings and keep the players at it with more replay value than any other football sim.

I think fifa 08 is great and all but these things should make fifa 09 a legitimate, great football sim:
-give the player better control of slide tackling
-give the player ability to control wether or not to fall from an opposing tackle
-more real player faces, and not the template ones
-the ability to change which players go to the box on corner kicks
-the ability to change as many player's attributes as wanted n not set a limit
-the ability to select a co. captain and not just give the armband to the right fullback player
- more stadiums
-real captain armbands such as G. Nevilles' Manchester utd armband.
-realistic bursts of speed
-more third kits available or classic jerseys would be great
-better ability to change and create distinct formations
-show the ref. at all times and not just when foul or card is given
-a red card system should be instituted.....the a.i. cheats and fouls right before reaching the box
-the ability to bicycle kick instead of the mid bicycle.
-better control of shooting....such as better control for volleys
-the ability to bring the goalkeeper to the box when losing and little time left in game
-the ability to control goalkeeper on free kicks.....more skill will be needed to score.
-the ability to control shots with the outside of the foot and passes the same way.....like Ricardo Quaresma from F.C. Porto does frequently.
-better and more fluid control of the skill moves.
-more realistic signature moves
-the ability to fake the a.i. more often with signature moves...they usually read the moves
-more signature celebrations. C.Blanco, Nani, etc all have great goal celebrations that should be instituted to provide a more realistic feel to the game
-more signature free kick methods... C. Ronaldo standing like a super hero (it would be great)
-the ability to change formations while playing without having to pause and go to the menu....this also prevents the other player from reading the changes
-have substitutes greet the offcoming teammate (4th official should be visible as well)
-low ranked leagues such as the Football League 1 and 2 should be taken out of the game (1 star teams shouldn't take up a place that other better teams should have)
-Institute better leagues such as the much awaited and longed Primera División Argentina (this is probably the 4th or 5th best football league in the world and it's not in FIFA yet...c'mon to compete withe PES you need to put this league in the game.
-The manager should be visible on the touchline with the 4th official...it would be nice to see them giving instructions to the skipper once in a while
-for my hispanic friends that like fifa but would enjoy it better...if you brought back the spanish speaking commentators for all game versions.
-more international teams would be welcomed...such as the Ivory Coast
-more liscensed teams such as the Netherlands....how can you have this great team unlicensed when they have a great change to win Euro 08?
-change the way you creat a player....implement the system for the TIger Woods game...it has a great system for creating realistic players that look like real people. (that game is also EA, so this can be done)
-the ability to control the keeper at absolutely any time in a game
-more real fan chants.
-a fan/crowd system where the stadium environment intimidates the visiting team would be great!
-more yellow cards should be given...the a.i. is never given a yellow when they foul inside the penalty box.never.
-a real intro with real players doing moves and sooting amazing goals instead of the in-game sequences...like in fifa 06.
-more realistic cups and tournaments... such as the World Cup, UEFA Cup, Champions League, Copa Libertadores, Club World Cup..all with their real names and real trophy,
-the ability to manage a nationtal team or offered the position in manager mode
-be a pro mode with chasing camera view in all platforms.
-the same method of playing in the Wii as the other platforms, or the ability to play with a gamecube control would be great
-This said, if EA implements these ideas or molds them into something different but for the betterment of the game, I think FIFA 09 would be spectacular and much better than the next PES game...hopefully the producers listen to these ideas!

Ok, i thought fifa08 was pretty good, but if these changes can be made
it would be simply unbelievable. so:
- More time in transfer window to complete transfers.
-In Be a Pro, you should have a career and start in an accademy or something and grow as a
player, having bigger clubs come calling for you in transfer windows.
-In Be a Pro and Manager Mode be able to train. Be a Pro train yourself. Manager Mode be more
involved with training.
-Visible ref
-Create your own stadium in manager mode if you have enoguh money.
-Manaer Mode be more involved with the board and the media and the players.
-Be a Pro, have to deal with transfer speculation and media annoyance.
-Be a Pro, train yourslef out on the trainign ground and boost your attributes that way
asweel as gaining XP through games.
-Be a Pro, make sure it is a career and not just a season.
-Manager Mode be so much more involvd with the club, media, transfers, board
and squad. i.e being abl to make small changes to basic formations, talk to the board and players,
deal with the media and be able to design yourself and see yourself on the touchline.

Do all of this and i cannot imagine how unbelievable 09 will be
