The next fifa should incorporate worldly tournaments like WORLD CUP, EURO CUP, GOLD CUP, COPA D'AMERICA, etc. The world cup 06 was a great success being able to actually play tournaments with international teams. It would be cool if you could pick a club and a national team to start a career and then play games from that standpoint. Like qualifying for the world cup as your season is going on within your country. For example picking AC Milan and Italy and trying to win Serie A and the Champions league while qualifying for EuroCup and then playing the tournament if you qualify.

Please FIFA, you should put in the fan shop a variety of cleats certain brands like, Nike,Adidas,Puma,Lotto,Reebok ect. and able to change them to players in teams say for instance, you wanna get some Adidas or Nike on a certain player, instead of puttin the ones you guys have, you should be able to put them in edit player, but not effect them, like when commentaries say there names and such,

put conference on the game cos then wen u manage a team from the conference and make them good you can get them promoted, unlike in other league which a quite pointless i.e. irish because the teams in there are quite honastly rubish, and if u manage them and get em good its boring cos ur the only good team in the league

bring create a team back because then u can make your local team, also dont bother putting enymore stadiums on, all the good stadiums are already on, and also do u really pay that much attention to the stadium your playing in

whats the point of putting irish league on, its crap, no one will use em. it would be better if they put the conference of cos then in manager mode when you make ur team better u can get promoted. but if u manage a irish team till their good, its boring cos ur the only good team in the league

In carear mode you should be able to put players out of the classic all-star team int o manager mode as Free agents in Fifa 09

In fifa 09 it should have a world cup, European cup E.G. practiclly regional cup with all the qualifyers and group stages. Also it should be a bit like pro with shirt pulling, interviews and parties after matches.

I've played in manager mode with QLD Roar, and during summer the temperaure reaches about 40 degrees! ( 120 farenhite or somefin ) but it seems to SNOW!!!

a think hampden staduim should be in fifa 09 and some of the SPL staduim (Scottish premier leauge)like Tynecastle (Hearts Fc),Celtic park (Celtic fc),Ibrox (Rangers) and if theres no a no a lot of people who wont be buying another fifa game because loads of ma mates have sayed 2 me the games hardly changed since the last one so if fifa r wanting fifa 09 to be populer add some Scottish staduims.

i also think that u should alow gamers to create there kits every year like normal clubs do for instince the rochdale kit are celebrating 100yrs in footy bt you missed there white kite as well as there yellow 1 and the home kit is totaly wrong it has a black panel at the back with white and gold lettering

the game commentary in fifa 08 was very buggy. say it was england v argentina. an england player would pass and the commentary would say something like "and brazil are passing the ball well" very of putting. also the ps2 version with "be a pro" is very confusing, player camera would be better for that!.

add an extras with asien football team.. like malaysia, singapore, and many more...

make a mission and drama on it...

add more weather..

You should put the ability to control a national team and take it up to the world cup. Also, there should be a feature that tells you what is going to be your squad before you choose to manage that team. And, make it so you can choose how many years you want, like till 25 seasons and such, there is old managers still managing there team.

Well i was thinking for manager mode you can start out with a team that is a fake college team. Then you start growing. Then you can coach in pro leagues. While your on manager mode You can also schedule practice sessions for your team. And if your good enough a national team would want get you. Can you please put all of those national teams like Fifa Worldcup 2006 and the first and second divisions of Mexico.

when you pass to a player make them run to the ball same with crossing, also make every goal unique, every league should have a league below it aka scotland division 1 and holland so you can get relagated in scotland ect also celtic park, hampden or even ibrox.

Oh my goodness, this has got to be the worst create-a-player option I've seen. What idiot's idea was it to have limits to creating player's statistically? I think that's a nice idea to install your player and build them in Manager Mode, but what about for those individuals who want to create a team of their own?

I've been creating a custom team made of a few stars and plenty of regulars and youth prospects, but in this game I won't be able to even create my moderate starting central defender thanks to the inability for creative freedom. Even with buying those experience points in the shop I can't do anything! This is the biggest waste of money for those individuals looking for creative freedom in a football game.

The game itself is nice, with some solid flowing action and definitely competing with PES in terms of gameplay. The question still remains though, is there any way to gain more points to create players as I wish? If not, I feel as though I've wasted my money entirely. In what should've been a solid year for FIFA, this massive error could end up being why PES still whoops this franchise up and down the pitch year in and out.

i just noticed that in fifa 08, you made the colour of some players wrong, some players in there look korean even though they are black in real life, also you mad a white football player black and two black players white.

i think you should make the boots better. for example, the boots you put in on fifa 2006 world cup but put some updated bots in. like total 90 shift.

Come on EA we have high expectations.

Hey. FIFA 08 is a top game and I really do enjoy it. Their are still plenty of additions that need to be included, especially in gameplay.

- Introduce the ability to dive, and make a lot of different animations for it, not just 1 that Pro Evo has.

- Improve the crowd. The crowd can play a major part, make it a lot more 3D with different animations going on everywhere not just the same thing. When a team is attacking and goes towards the 18 yard box, the crowd should start to rise to their feet like real life, and when the team scores, they should all be jumping to celebrate (different animations for the people though).

- Some of the play in the game is just a bit dumb. Players make silly runs, silly mistakes that shouldnt be happening. Improve the movement off the ball and the way players create space.

- Put referees on the pitch. Without referees, you can't play a professional game of football. So you need to have referees and linesman on the pitch while playing the game to add that touch of realism. It is a big difference.

These are just a few suggestions to make the game even better. I hope you consider them.

I tink you guys should add the Copa Libertadores and more additions to it. Like in the Brazilian league and cup, The winner of the Braziian Cup goes straight to the Copa libertadores whithut having to qualify for it at the league. The leagues 4 first teams qualifies for it but if the champions of the Brazilian Cup is in that 1st four that qualifies the 5th team is also part of the qualifying group until the champion of the cup gets out of that group.
The 4th (or 5th) team that qualifies has to go through a Pre-Libertadores qualifying seesion with a team from Argentina to see who goes to the Lubertadores group stages.

Also, add the Brazilian Serie B since rest of the world is FULL with brazilian teams that got relegated.

I think they should add training mode to the PSP version, and also be able so save our awesome goals if we want to.

I own Fifa 08 on PS3. I used to play Pro Evo before, but not anymore. That's because Fifa 08 is a super game. But there are so many minor things who should make the game even better. For me, the editing is very important. Maybe not at first, but when you have played it a few weeks/months I start to get a bit bored. So it would be fun to alter the player skills. And also, in a few leagues there are promotions and relegations half a year earlier than in the main leagues. So I would like the ability to create teams. And please get rid of the stupid regulations. Skills regulation, and how many players you can have on each team etc etc. It's PS3 (or XBOX 360). Not PS2. I would also like to have many, many, many more opportunities when creating a player. Much more hairstyles and so on. There should be more then there are in PES (And that is many). And for god's sake: Let us edit the appearances of all the players. Not only the created ones. To cut it short: Make the editing opportunities huge.

There are also some minor details that irritates me. Like when I score a goal, the celebrations is boring. I don't "feel" anything. Make it more emotional. And what irritates me the most, is that the same players comes to congratulate the goalscorer. Always the right back, central defender 1, central defender 2 and so on in that order. Let it be more random!

And please make the look of the players more real. The likenesses of the players is awful and the players look like dolls. That's one thing that is still much better in PES. I actually think this is important.

I'm a pro evo player, and I really love the last FIFA 08 (next-gen). Midfield game has got to be the best in any football game ever. One thing I'd like to see added to FIFA 09 is the freedom and lightning pace that can (sometimes) be experienced in PES in the last fourth of the pitch. Don't misunderstand me: I think FIFA's pace is much more realistic, actually it's one of the things that has disappointed me about the last PES. It's just that as hard as it is in PES to slow down the play, it can be difficult in FIFA to make a deadly, extremely fast counterattack. It's not something that should happen all the time, of course, only under the adequate circumstances.
Oh, and one more thing. PLEASE release the next-gen version on PC, as I don't have a console and have to crash on my friends' to play the game. I really want this FIFA on my PC. I'm not buying the greater processing power of the X-Box 360, come on. It may have 3 cores, but it's not THAT much more powerful than a nice Core2Duo. If you want to keep the old engine for people with lower specs, fine, but release both versions.
And include the Argentine league, please :)
