Your Ideas for FIFA 09

I like fifa 08 but the only thing is i am getting sick a looking at the same stadium, so create a stadium mode would be good and be a pro mode make it so you be the player and play a season with him and make it so team can offer to bid for the player that would be really cool. But the overall that game is always gonna be a game but put the create a stadium in motion because looking at the same stadium it feels like i am home, last thing i play with aston villa and John Carew his hair comes and goes like when you get close to him his hair is t here but far away his hair is gone so fix that glitch. you should be able to play wembley you should pick an amount of players and just play wembley like normal.

I think, you must add Russian League. Every Russian fifaplayer dreams of it since times FIFA99 and trusts in you =)

1. add more leagues such as the iranian pro league (ipl), or at least add the two top teams of iran, which are Persepolis and Esteghlal to the "Rest of the World" section
2. interviews and conferences after matches in manager mode
3. when sending scouts to watch players, videos should be made so that the player (manager) can watch his skills, shots, etc.
4. more national teams, and fix the stars on the national teams (iran should be added, sweden is much better than denmark and still has less stars though. sweden should have 4 1/2 stars, and iran should have 4 since they are one of the best in asia)
5. after winning a cup, a presentation should be made
6. practice mode
7. mini games (futsal, one on one, dribbling, etc)
8. add womens national teams
9. come down from space into the stadium like 2006 fifa world cup, and then tour the stadium before the match starts
10. show manager every once in a while with his reaction in manager mode or even in friendlies

You should let us create stadiums and also make the player's faces better for example, Arteta and Baines from Everton.

4.on manager mode speculations about players like a possible transfer or someone not happy at the club

8.on manager mode you can go in the changing room and if players are not in the team enough they can storm of if they have a bad attitude
9.they should have training through the week and play the training
10.players can start fights in matches
11.rarely the fans should come on the pitch and cause a riot
12.usualy when the weather's bad the stadiums can rarely get flooded and replayed

I think that you'll need to add more national teams like Honduras, Costa Rica, Canada, Cuba, Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, panama, and venezuela

3 when you lick a button on another player but that player does not get the ball , the next time you plater gets the ball it will do that move again.....cancel that and make it so if u press a buttton it ends with in like 2 seconds if you dont get the ball

Best FIFA : 2008, because of true next-gen full and constant physics+ graphics

Suggestions for FIFA09:
1. Be A PRO -Career mode : create player, start in low level leages and/or clubs, grow your skills,
negotiate contracts, get points on your performance.
2. Practice mode: free kick, corner, match, etc.
3. Gameplay: 08 feels soft and slow, 09 should feel more quick, responsive, dynamic...
4.Career mode: create your own club from ground up and progress through leages.
5.FIFA World Cup in tournament mode.
6.More animations: manager and subs reaction to goals, mises, etc.
7. Commentators: more acurate + many different lines for same cases, so you don't feel repetition.

Also to have a third jersey in create a team.

It would be better to have the team crests on the jerseys.
better moves.Better shoes. MORE AND BETTER JERSEYS AND COLORS SHOES SOCKS AND SHORTS ON THE
CREATE A TEAM.Also make the created players more realistic.

I think if player celebration's can be include a little cut scene of the manager like the one you choose when starting a manager profile should be available like the manager making tactical gestures or celebrating when goals are scored, getting annoyed when chances are missed celebrating with the players at the end of matches and finals also there should be scenes on the presentation of cups

please improve the atmosphere of the stadium, ist very boring to watch how the public reacts after a goal or something similar. it would be nice to have more flags being waved and people on their teams color to give that sensation , of being in a real football match

i also think players should have a set speed as some players have a high speed but the defender always seems to catch you, like say obafemi martins shal be fast but a 40 year old slow defender will catch you so easy, have an option of controlling your keeper, make some of the fans have there club shirt on as they all have not club shirts, the shirts on the game look a bit fake make them hang more and have an option to pull people shirt or and elbow button tht would be more real, have an option to do a fake dive because cristiano ronaldo cant play without it :)

how about rainy weather that leave puddles on the pitch and snow that lands that would be great, make the players get dirty judged on what part of the body they fall on , have an option of game speed as i think fifa 08 is a little bit too slow, i think it would be good to have a choice of commentator

I really would like to see a world cup mode or international manager mode. Also I think that youth academys should have more players and better players and finally this manual crossing thing wasn't the best idea plz fix it.

The way the top scorer of leagues and overall stats need to be revamped. Everything gets cramped up in one stats sheet and it makes it boring overtime. It is more exciting if I knew I was top scorer in the "champions league competition" and top 10 in the premiere league scorer stats per say. A little more complex stats in manager mode would be great.

I think EA team should check out the entertainment factor from games like Football Manager 2008 or at least incorporate features to the manager mode from their own fifa manager game. Maybe even merge it.

And please please suggest to work on the intros and celebrations after finishing a given tournament what is the excitement of playing a game for three hours and then at the end you are back to the main screen with no entertainment. And of course dont make it monotonous have at least three variations of celebrations for the winners of tournaments. The snes soccer games were good at having those...

Have more exciting unlockables instead of the same lame soccer balls boots and jerseys... the jerseys are great but the rest is sort of boring... like the stadiums.. no one can notice the change when u unlock them... if they want them to notice them they should have cinematics...

And last but not least the south american leagues... They need to add Argentina, Chile and Colombia as the list of leagues available since they are the top leagues in south america along with brazil besides most of the top young south american players migrate to those leagues to try out luck.

i just suggest if you guys can try to use direct 10 engine to make the game. I know it is bit hard but direct 10 graphing cards with vista have been used more and more. i think it is time to make it more vivid.

- Leagues: Argentine Primera Division, South African PSL and Romanian Liga 1.
- It would be cool to see some women's national teams like; Germany, USA, Australia, New Zealand, England, Sweden, Norway, Brazil, France and China. Maybe a league, too. Swedish Damsallsvenskan, Women's Bundesliga, Women's Premier League etc.
- All Premier League stadiums.
- All La Liga stadiums

- Improved Be-a-Pro mode
- Better scouting and youth academies in Manager Mode

FIFA 09 I think that when you create a team you will be able to choose beween the best uniforms in the world. Adidas, Nike, Umbro, Kappa, Reebok, Puma etc. Plus bring back international duties.Bring back the greek league, fifa 01 used to have it why not now? this year five greek teams were in uefa cup group stages, and one in CL knockout stage.STADIUM CREATOR- I think that we should be able to select a base (base, square etc) then you can put blocks of seats down. They would have different shapes styles ( curved, staright, steep, press, dugout and vip). Then you would once you have done all of that you can put in extras like, vip boxes, tv studios, big screens, score board, roofs, glass. And then you can do the outside with stuff like glass windows, car parks, posters and megastores.
Plus....

Please do something with the user interface, is still one of the worst in the industry
- Include pre-season, friendly matches
- Derby games
- Fans should be more lively when we score a goal
- Flags are a nice think to have
- Progress to national team
- Team of the month, national team responsibilities
- Staff upgrades should bring more explanation, not a simple algorithm

Playing:
- Speed!, players seem to run on rollerblades!
- Turning should be faster (more realistic)
- Not selected players should be more clever (take the ball when you are at 1 foot from it!)
- Where are the subs on the pitch? (or at least the manager)
- Able to pre-program position / plays so I can change the formation on the fly, or having special position for corners, free kicks

you should improve the players visually make more look how they really look, put the croation league
on it because alot of talented players come the croation side dinamo zagreb e.g modric,eduardo etc.
also the russian league so you can have the likes of vagner love. Also have MANAGER mode for the
Wii version. More tricks, make the lower difficulty levels slighty harder.also player growth in a season should
depend on how well they play in that season. finally more african teams e.g ivory coast,ghana,togo etc.

I have been happy with the progress that came from Fifa 07 which i thought was not done well at all, but still played it till my conroller fell apart. Fifa 08 was brilliant but was missing some crucial aspects that every football crazy person needs:
- Greek Super League
- Russian Premier League
- Easier to score from outside the box, but not too easy obviousely
- I enjoyed the move engine but would like it to be a little easier (kinda hard in Legendary)
- Thats pretty much it and i really hope to see the Greek League again, i've had every game since 98 and i really would like to keep them coming, 10 years of EA Fifa games have been good up untill now, but i would really like to see the Greek League come into it again!!!

1. Player's get injured more frequently - One good way is when your player is running with the ball, and his fatigue is low, then the controller vibrates, and your player pulls a muscle.

2. When your player is subsituted, we see him actually get subbed, not showing the fans.

3. In 'Be A Pro' mode, actually show your teams table.

4. Please develop the 'Dive' Button. i know the game is called 'Fifa' and is all about playing fair, but, the game is a video simulation, and is intended to clone the actuality of the game, therefore, diving is apart of the game and needs to be included.

5. If you have alot of spare time, create one stadium from each league, e.g 1 Championship, 1 League 1, 1 League 2, 1 Czech League, etc...

Some things i forgot to say...

The crowd should be more realistic and react when someone scores instead of just carrying on clapping like they normally are.

You should be able to dive and if you time it right you can get away with it-if they dont get away with it they should be sent off.

Player fights in cut-scenes when a bad decision is made which players can actualy get injured from would be funny.

There should be more injurys! at the moment you hardly ever get bad injurys!

Tournaments like the African cup of nations should be included during seasons so you might loose a few players in january because they are away with their international teams.

You should be able to do training with the team or just let the computer do it automatically in between matches. Players should also sometimes get injured during practice sessions.

You should be able to send scouts to watch a certain player at any club and they give you feedback on how they are doing.

Make transfer prices of players more realistic, make it harder to sign them, you should also be able to see which other clubs are also trying to buy that player and you should be able to choose what price you want to sell players for.

More leagues with more players from around the world like croatia.

You should be able to design a manager and see him shouting from the bench in some games. Along the lines of designing you should be able to create your own stadium and play there in manager mode.

One more thought that i have had is that when 1-on-1 with the keeper the camera should go behind the player and go into slow motion to give you more chance of scoring-a bit like the loading screens on the ps3 version.

BTW include this in the PS3 version!

add a medical care for injuries (the player can't just walk off the pitch injured)

A few suggestions for FIFA 09:

1. If players from the club you are managing are selected for international matches you should get to play those games.
2. International tournaments in the summer period.
3. Changes made in creation Zone should affect players when you load a current Manager Mode. (Should be able to edit current players facial and physical appearance.
4. More camera angles, the closer to an actual broadcast camera angle would be great.
5. As said before FA cup final should be played at wembley.
6. Top four teams from previous season should be automatically in the Champions League in first season of Manager Mode.
7. Ability to edit league fixtures and points, so you can start the season from in relation to real life. For example you could recreate a current relegation or title battle.
8. Similar to PES there should be a presentation after a cup/league victory.
9. Has anyone played WWE recently? There used to be an option for special referee. Would be great to have this option on fifa 09. Could have 3 players, two playing against eachother and one reffing. (this would be so much fun!)
10. This has also been mentioned before.. diving, shirt pulling and intentional fouls should be brought in.

I think the 'Be A Pro' mode needs to be expanded a lot. For a start it would be nice to be able to play more than one season, so the player development can continue. To have it more like the manager mode would be good. To be honest, just playing all the teams alphabetically is just a joke, it shows a real lack of effort there!

Also, I think a return of the lounge that was in the world cup 2006 would be a good idea! I loved the fact that it tracked all of the individual players and gave them ratings! I also think that you need to rethink the crossing. Its a joke on 08.

I would really like national anthems before games between national teams. It has been a little of it on earlier games, but that was only the last parts of the melodies. I would like the whole anthem, and the crowd singing along. That would take add an extra dimension to it.
I would also like to see more cut-scenes before, and during the game, 3d-crowd, and longer pre-match scenes beside the national anthems.
Life like managers on the sideline, during goals for and against, and other cut-scenes.
More stadiums would be great, and different type of goals and goal nets, not just only one type on all the stadiums.

If these things would be included in the next Fifa game, it would be fantastic.

And continue the great development of the gameplay. Fifa 08 was a huge step forward, and it's so much better than the previous games.

6. through balls are crap they need to be improved because every time you do it, it gets intercepted.
7. to be able to have penalty shootout without playing a whole match so have it in the game mode menu.
8. if your team is playing badly lately the stadium shouldnt be as packed as when your team is playing well
9. when a player is transferd they tell you what number they want to be.
10. more realistic ad boards in the stadium. get rid of stupid ones like needforspeed.com etc. and put more nike ( if the team is sponserd by nike). basiclly whatever the teams shirt sponser and shirt producer there ad boards should be around the stadium. and also some big teams have these electronic ad board which are almost like tv's and they should be included.

Hello. I live in South Africa. I am a huge Man Utd fan and have been playing Fifa since 2003. (BTW I play it on PC)
First of all I want to congratulate the whole Fifa 08 team on doing a marvelous job.
Great game guys!

Firts of all please make a longer playing time available for PC like in Fifa 2003. 10 minutes can't be the maximum!

In Fifa 09 I would like to see more football atmosphere. Simple things like a player getting treatment from the the team docter after sustaining an injury, the crowd booing ex players, electronic advertising boards (like at Old Trafford) and the crowd actualy wearing the team's colours and jerseys (a lot of times when I play with Man Utd at Old Trafford the crowd is blue!). And if you could make different types of crowds that would be great! (Ex. British, Spanish, Italian, Asian, South American etc.) Football is a global game and its rules are the same everywhere but yet the gameplay and atmosphere is so different from place to place. If you could incorporate that into Fifa09 it would be amazing. And let fans go crazy if a late winner/equaliser is scored in derby game.

Here comes the more complicated part. Could you please try to get official songs, sponsors, cup pictures etc. (ex. when you play in the Champions League, the Champions League anthem should play in the background. And I would much rather play in the FA Cup than the english cup. And please don't call the Champions League the ECC and the UEFA Cup the EFA) Players should also wear the Champions League badge on their sleeves. I know there is a lot of legal difficulties but try your best! And 3rd kits shouldn't be locked. A player must also be able to choose whole kit for a match, like choosing to wear the red jersey but the black shorts and white socks. And include more brands like Umbro, Kappa, Reebok and Puma.

BTW: Where did the Santiago Bernabeu go?

Having international competitions like the World Cup, European Championships, Copa America, African Cup of Nations and World Club Championships would also be nice.

I also know you have technical limits but can you please make 3D crowds, managers (waving and shouting orders), substitutes (sitting on the bench and warming up), ball boys, members of the press (like photographers) etc. And when a player gets a red card they should show him walking down the tunnel (fuming). Or show player holding his head after a penalty miss.
Be creative!

The gameplay is already very cool but please make tricks easier for the PC version. And having a low hard shot as well as an accuracy, normal and chip shot would be nice.

Each stadium must be unique. Like Old Trafford having a raised pitch and the Emirates stadium having a wider field. And stadiums like Div 1 UK should be difficult to play on when it's raining.
And a function where you can build your own stadium would also be cool.

For Manager mode: Please just progress a day at a time. That way we can have more time to act in the transfer market. And make friendly matches easier to organize (like in FIFA Manager). Pay the players' salaries weekly, not just after a match. Make a function where you can take a player on trial and then incorporate a practice mode into manager mode so that you can test the player on trial. Also in the manager practice mode there should be a team management option so that you can try different formations and different players in different positions. Also make the contract extension negotiations with your own players more realistic (you shouldn't just be able to make one offer and then get permanently rejected. That is not negotiating!)

And of course adding more leagues and national teams would be a bonus.

Be a pro mode needs to be upgraded.

-I think you should be able to create a manager before you start manager mode. You should be able to do it like how you create a player. In a game you should be able to see him/her on the sidelines.

-In manager mode the board should have realistic expectations. If you get promoted from the championship to premiership you shouldn't be expected to win the league.

-Younger players should get more exp than older players in manager mode.

-Put Kaka, Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney or Lionel Messi on the cover.

-It should be asier to score from outside the box but not to easy.

-You should have an option to pass through ball where you want without assistance.

-You should keep all the leagues you allready have like the A-League.

-You should be able to see statistics from all leagues in manager mode.

-You Should be able to create a stadium in manager mode and be able to have a bigger one as upgrade your stadium manager. e.g if you upgrade your stadium manager you can have 30,000 more seat/capacity but you still have to pay for those seats and upgrading the stadium manager.

-After each season in manager mode you should be able to create your own kit as some people have suggested.
