Your Ideas for FIFA 09

The one thing that is frustrating us at the moment - We are living in a large student house as are our friends from next door and the house next to that. All we want is to set up a premiership table in tournament mode where we each have one team (20 teams, 1 each) Unfortunately we can only play as 8 during any new tournament which means we have to play 3 seperate leagues!!!! Very annoying!!! Even when you play as the 8 teams you cannot switch over to the CPU side! WHATS THE POINT???!!! Fix this and I will buy it, otherwise i'll just stick with fifa 2008. Other ideas - can't really think of anything else really, its a good game, just a shame its spoilt by that which would be so easy to fix....please......

there should be more international teams like the african ones e.g morroco, tunisia, ivory coast!! make more leagues so we can transfer more players in manager mode like salifou alloudi!! manage international teams and pick the players you want to play for you!!

- Add bigger leagues like; Argentine Primera Division, Romanian Liga 1, Russian Premier League, Ukrainian Premier League etc.

In manager mode all the cups should be played. Fa cup, League cup, Champions league and uefa cup. Also when playing refs and linesmen should be on show.
When players get injured the physio / medics should come on you should be able to control them and sort out the injuries - like on fight night round 3 (If option is switched on)
Make more stadiums - apart from the big teams so of them dont have proper stadiums even premier league teams.

I would like to see the situation where you create your own player then train him up on be-the pro mode. Your average rating goes to how many training points you spend every week. So, if you only get to play once a week due to family commitments then your average can still be as good as someone who has the time to play all day therefore fair. The points are released on say... a Friday, you update your stats and maybe use the stats to make your position... e.g all on tackling and heading for defender... or tackling and passing for a midfielder etc... you develope your player!!

THERE SHOULD BE A GAME BASED ALL ON THE PREMIERSHIP AFTER ALL ITS POPULAR ALL OVER THE WORLD AND THE DETAIL THAT COULD BE ACHIEVED FROM EA WHAT A GAME AY THE REAL ENGLISH EXPERIANCE

make the premiership realistic more premiership stadia different sorts of attendances and noise especially for derbies and make it so that its like watching on sky or bbc with a broadcast camera also ad where you can sit in various parts of the ground when your just watching like in the terraces or in the dugout and 1 final points make better fans they are big in our game and they never move and have somewhere for the away fans to sit and good reactions like a last minute winner against united or the kopites is realy crazy every 1 goes mad and the camera shacks MAKE THE SCALE BETWEEN PLAYERS AND SURROUNDINGS MORE REALISTIC

I would like to see international duty in fifa 09 were the manager decides which players go off to join the national team for friendleys, and competitions i.e (Copa America, African Cup Of Nations.)

you need to sort out the free kicks coz on manager mode they score nearly every time. You need to put the indoor arena back on like in fiffa 97-98 i had hours of fun on there. you need to put goal of the month and goal of the season awards in manager mode There needs to be more stadiums on this time i couldn't believe the bernabeau wasn't on! You NEED to sort the backtracking by the keepers wen you shoot from 25+ yards out. There needs to be a ref and a linesman that we can see and interact with e.g (Rooney screaming at the referee). It would be good but not essential if like on NHL games you can get into fights with other players. The fans need to get more involved with the game because on 08 there pretty dull. With all these international players coming in we need to be ablee to dive on the next fifa. we need a world cup mode and a proper champions league mode but dont want stupid teams winning e.g(Sunderland). In the transfer period it needs to be in a lot more detail e.g (People come in for top rated players, people want to loan young players to get them better.)

FIFA 08 is a good game but PLEASE PLEASE make the next one A LOT BETTER

Fifa 2009 must include the argentinian league. Aguero, Riquelme,Veròn, Cambiasso, Messi, Crespo, Tevez, Saviola, etc, they all come from Argentina. It`s where the big football stars belong. There are big football teams like River Plate, Boca, Independiente, Racing, San Lorenzo (that now has Andrès D'alessandro in it`s squad), Arsenal de Sarandì (the last champion of the Sudamericana Cup). Boca has played the international club cup against Milàn last month. Please make an effort and with the argentinian leagues and cups like Libertadores and Sudamericana will be a success. I'd like also that leagues from Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, Perù, Colombia were included.

International career mode

Add african leagues and you can make your own kits and put them on different teams.And also REAL refs like mat clantenberg, mike riley urs meiner and the other ones.And you can create celebrations and when a former player faces his old club they get booed.and can take free kicks like C.Ronaldo and goal updates at the bottom of the screen if anyone else is playing in manger mode

well according to me , following changes(if) possible should be made :
1.While creating the new club , one could create the team logo's & the sponsor name to the kits , to give them real professional look.
2.most of the national team should be added
3.ONGC i league should be added
4.world cup & continental clubs should be added
5.commentatory should be inproved .
6. there should be the option of % attendance of the people present .
7.there should be option for CREATE YOUR OWN STADIUM which may include the options :
a.basic shape
b.number of seats
c.grass type
d.colour
e.of cource, name of the stadium

In manager mode :
1. one can create one's own manager of different look .
2.Manager should be given the salaries (according to the reputation) no salaries are given to them in previous versions.
3.There should be the provision for managing the national team , along with the club.
4.One could change the clubs kit even after few years in manager mode .
5.manager mode budget should be made less(of few bigger clubs) , to make the game compatative .in the present version the budget get more then twice in just few years.
6.there should be a seperate staff market & one can buy staff from other clubs.

Why don´t you people make the players enter the stadium in the begining of the secend half???

SERBIAN TEEMS: RED STAR ,PARTIZAN AND SERBIAN INTRENATIONAL TEEM. For the love of good would you please do this and just so you now i will bee weary angry if i dont see serbian international teem in FIFA 09

You need to have players on the bench sitting.When i change a player it´s like he falls down from the sky into the stadium.Theat is stupid!!!
Make a visable referies and don´t have him appear just out of nowhere.
And i need to be able to pick a capiten of the teem.
And have a diffrent reaction off a player when he gets a yellow or red card.(Ronney would snap,and Gattuso also...)Have a diffrent and more realistic entrence and make it longer!!!

you could also be a manager of one of the world cup sides if good enough for example

also online it would be good if you could add your own sides from career mode and play as them

i would like to have more realistic movment of players played by the computer.Also you need to add more teems in rest of the world: CSKA Moskva,Partizan Belgrad,Red Star Belgrad....
And also more internantional teems, first of all you have New Zeland, Australia,Belgium, Austria,Wales,Finnland.....but you don´t have Serbia.What is theat about???
And one more thing. Every player can do same tricks with a ball like J.Terry ,G.Neville,Carrick,Crouch.....They can do the tricks of C.Ronaldo and Ronaldinho?????

All Prem Stadiums (Hell, Even all Football League Stadiums if possible) And Shirt Sponser Changes every so often, Like the older LMA games

you should gte a tv sponser and the crowd needs to be more realistic like cheer, boo etc. and addd in the other leagues like blue square. make the fans wear the prober shirts and you should be able to have interveiws after the game.have a full season on xbox live instead of 11 games which isnt very good.

Probably already mentioned by a load of people but..here goes.....
1) Improve the free kick system..08 was shockingly bad!
2) You've modelled the players, why not the real life mangers. Let's see them in the dugout, in the technical area, shouting at the players, taliking to the officials etc.
3) You have to improve the crowds, not just have 10 default charactor models repeated and generated into a 40,000 crowd. Also, 80% of supporters at a football match where the clubs merchendise (home and away kits, scarfs, hats etc), Why can't the majority of the crowd be wearing the offical replica kits? You also have to show the away team colours there as well. There's no differentiation between the home and away teams at all.
4) Not every game has a full to bursting stadia at every match. Also, if the home team is losing, you could model the stadium emptying prior to the final whistle?
5) Weather / Pitch quality - please please please....not every game is played in the dry, on a beautiful summers day or evening and on perfect pitch conditions!!! Sort it out!!
6) Better dynamics in the Crowd. If its a great game, the home crowd should be going mad, if its boring, the crowd should have quiet periods, if the away teams winning the home crowd should be stunned into silence but the away teams fans should be chanting thier heads off.
7) Quick free kicks (as in PES)
8) Being able to let the ball run through your legs or dummy (as in PES)
9) Basically, look at producing a football game that "accurately" models the passion, realism and quality that seems to be put into every EA Madden NFL game and replicate that commitment to accuracy!!

one main idea is to have some more different types of generic stadiums. There are many many teams that currently play in a bowl type stadium, that is somewhere between the open square and the next level up grounds on fifa 08. Some examples include the RICOH, the Walkers, Liberty stadium (swansea), saint marys, Pride park

fans in the crowd should have the colours of the home kit of their team, just around the crowd to have blue in the chelsea stands, and red in the united stands etc, make it look much more realistic

a better away crowd noise would be good aswell, there is hardly ever any distinguishable cheers or away chants, when i score away from home all you can hear is booing from the "home supporters", if there was a proper roar from an away crowd, just adds to the reality of the game

some of the teams' stadiums are very wrong sizes aswell, ive noticed that Coventry, who play at the ricoh arena, of 33'000 or near enough to make no difference have a tiny level 4 open square stadium, much more like that of the old Highfield road, then West Brom, who play at the Hawthorns, SMALLER THAN THE RICOH by a few thousand, play in a level 7 or 8 oval style ground!! something is very wrong there!

3- Name the cups correctly e.g. EFA= UEFA Cup

5- more realistic fans
6- in manager mode get offers from other clubs, to be there manager

8- be able to loan players from 2 months to a whole season.

manager mode should be made harder. It would be cool if you could form a manager community where you can have more than one real manger- like multiplayer,

make manager mode more reasonable eg i started manager mode with a 1 star team(accrington) and made it five stars and improved all staff, when i left the club it was relegated! and still had world class players, i was shocked. and also when you make a team as good as teams like arsenal, you should get sponsor offers as good as other top clubs. And also in manager mode you cant let all teams degenerate eg real madrid becoming 3 1/2 stars 9and still being as rich as before) its impossible. Teams like man u cant be losing so many matches and finishing seasons 10th and not making europe. And also teams cannot win and then lose erratically, they are either on form or off form

plz take this in consideration

You should be able to use classic strips like in NHL 08, for example the 04/05 Arsenal strip, or a vintage kit.

Manager mode needs to be more interactive, press conferences with clips, appeal suspensions, report crappy refereeing, should be able to select a new strip as the years go by as well as kit sponsors. ( nike, reebok, lotto etc)

Be A Pro could also be better if you make it a bit like a career mode, should be able to use teams that you've edited and make transfers.

Have a better transfer system for me its the same 4 clubs putting in bids, Liverpoo, AC Milan, Inter Milan, Barcelona.

There also needs to be a branch off, there should be reserve teams, not necessarily to play as but to give people in the Youth Academy a trial run and get the results after your match.

You also need to put in a couple more leagues here are my suggestions, the Russian, Ukrainian, and Qatari.

When select upgrade stadium manager it should actually increase the stadium size and should choose how like in Madden 08 and during construction time you should be able to see building equipment, cranes and scaffolding etc.

And please tell me why the hell do we need to choose between short and long sleeves, in season mode its always winter.

You need to put in more international teams such as Ivory Coast, Tunisia, Qatar, Iraq, Iran etc. AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD MAKE AUSTRALIA BETTER THAN THEY WERE IN 08 BECAUSE THAT WAS A LOAD OF BOLLOCKS.

Do NOT use the recycled commentary that has been in circulation since FIFA 05/06 to the present, and make so that created people have commentary names as well.

At the start of career mode you choose an international team that you would like to coach and then in between the leagues you play their qualifiers and then at the end of 4 years play to win the World Cup.

One thing that has annoyed me so much over the series is the sheer fact that if consistently break the the AI's defence they all of a sudden get better, face the facts people you're either good or you're not.

it would be great to add these ideas onto your next fifa game and i think it would benefit more scottish fans and possibly more fans around the world, fifa 09 should include some of the best leagues around the the world, including the ones i mentioned to include, in scotland there is two teams that donimate the spl and that is rangers and celtic, both teams have great history and a great rivaly and having genuine stadiums in the game should be included in this game to have that old firm clash in gaming HD, just think how many rangers and celtic fans and every scottish football fan ownin the next fifa, it would make fifa sell out and sell out until there is none left, if you included my ideas i would buy a copy of fifa09 and i think the whole of scotland will aswell, although the past fifa games have been a great success, but i think this fifa should be the best of the best and having these suggestions shall do that.

Need to have International tournaments and the ability for your manager to be selected to manage an international team based on your performance. such as the world cup, euro cup etc. This would make manager mode very interesting and challenging when trying to manage an international and club side.

Retired playerz shud go into coaching,it wud be interesting 2 here the commentators talk abt player-turned-coach vs his ex-manager. The uefa champs league nd cup shud be held in different countries each year. Major tournaments like the world cup ,euro,concacaf ,caf nd asian cup shud be present during manager mode. Instead of commentators repeating the same thng they shud talk abt player history,club history,stadium history, league history and manager history or even player form and performncs in present or previous tournmnts. Players shud hav signature passes,shots nd tricks nd when these pulled off they shud spark a lot of xcitement from th commenttr nd fans alike,players shud only do their celebrtins when they score by signature finishes,score a brace,on debut or afta a long draught from goals. Put more African teams in the international section like Ghana, Cote Divoire, Senegal, Egypt, Morrocco, and others. Can you please spend more effort and time actually making the individual player models and faces for every single player in the game? Especially pleyers in lower divisions all have the same face but just different skin tone and hair. Pur more fields in the game. Try to have atleast every stadium for each of the top division teams in the world. I hate when i play with Portsmouth, but have to use that boring 'swuare style' stadium all the time. Make the crowd a factor in the game by showing cut scenes after a certain event occurs in the game. Make the crowd more realistic with them AcCTUALLY waving the tem flag and holding the banner. Also show them ACTUALLY celebrating by dancing and jumping. The player subs bench and the coaches should also be interactive while playing, or atleast some more cut scenes for this. Like have an option to warm up a player before entering the game or something. More signature moves, player traits and celebrations in the game to make it more real.

EA shud add medics 4 each team,kind of like fight night round 2,tht way when ur player gets an injury during a match u cn choose 2 work on him urself,which wud b much effective nd can also kill off the time during a 1-0 win, or choose automatic whereby th medical team will do a rushd job on ur player which cud b dangerous 4 ur player's fitness. U shud also be able 2 create a celebration for players.

when u do the fa cup tournament when the computer does random scores like for example on my fifa 08 the computer chose the most stupidist score ever it was bournemouth 8 reading 8 and this will never happen chelsea 1 accrington 6 can u improve them.

in create club mode in fifa 08 when u create your club name it doesnt let u have dat much characters so in fifa 09 can you make your club longer (up to atleast 30 characters) PLEASE!!!!!!

You Should be able to create your own tacticts for setpieces. In manager mode there commentators should be able to call out the names of youth academy players and reserve players of a team, infact every single player in the game. Young players shud get their facial likeliness with commentators knowing their names,that way manager mode remains interesting.u shud b able 2 edit your team's kits after every 3 seasons.u shud be able 2 edit player hairstyles and in manager mode ths shud happen automaticaly ,eg. rooney grows a beard or c.ronaldo shaves hs head bold etc.training in manager mode shud be practical, just like in practice mode,the whole team/23 playerz / shud be available 4 training. Diving shud be available nd it's same button shud be used 4 handball nd shirt tugging.manager mode shud be seasonal eg. when its winter its winter and the same 4 summer. Like rugby07 u shud b able 2 choose frm a long list of names when creating a player or manager.

Things Fifa 09 should definitely include are:
1) Greek Superleague with all official teams, jerseys, names, logos, stadiums, sponsors and ball. ( Since Greece is the eleventh best team on the world soccer ranking you should definitely include the greek league )

why isn't Ibrox and Celtic Park in Fifa, or even Hampden!! These are 2 or 3 of the biggest stadiums in Britain - with Parkhead having a capacity of 60,000+. Its quite a let down not having theses stadiums in Fifa: Celtic and Rangers have just a big a fan base as any other team in the English Prem, bar Man Utd.
