Your Ideas for FIFA 09

The refree should be put in to the game, not just in the intro and pulling out cards.
Hand balls should be put in too. I havent had one hand ball on fifa 08 on the 360. There should be a tighter ball shielding mechanism, especially for players with great ball control and strenght. More moves also helps, especially players with quick feet. The free kick wall should be able to move, more mechanisms should be implicated to score during free kicks. Laying off the ball etc. A practice mode should be put up, where you can peform free kicks with a wall. Possibly mini games for drills and stuff for xbox achievement points.

make the crowd realistic, during a game they jump up and down and when you play west ham at upton park the crowd sing im forever blowing bubbles through out the game[gets annoying]

FIFA 08 on PS3 looked great.. The stadiums were awsome..The way they warmed up before a match was good..But I think the big detail was missed out.( Variety of weather conditions etc.)

1) Referees in matches and sometimes players have a scrap - this is recorded and begin rivalries
2)You should be able to choose your commentators
3)The speed of players should be enhanced.. Players like Cristiano Ronaldo should be rapid but in FIFA 08, sprinting just feels and looks slow compared to what we see on T.V
4)Licenses for things like Match of the day for highlights in career and Official Sky Sports match days.
5)The overall matches should be more realistic; FIFA 08 was slowed down to make it feel more realistic which wasn't bad, but you just can't forget the magic moments of the game like a Gerrard break straight through the middle. Also, volleys and over-head kicks need to be used a bit more.

That's what I think fans would like to see overall.

IN fifa 09:
1. have pre season games, before the real season starts.
2. transfers need to be improved,
3. referee on the pitch including linesmen.
4. have players go away on the national teams for friendlys or tournaments while playing in manager mode.
5. in manager mode, you guys should make it more realistic like having some of the players hair grow as you go through the season, depending on the player maybe some start out with a fresh hair cut and then while going through the season their hair grows little by little, that would be cool.
6. the ankle tape should be real too, we should have the option to choose like a single strap of tape around the ankle or maybe fully strapped ankle like the way cristiano ronaldo does.
7. next time have the santiago bernabeu stadium. thats the only thing that i was upset about, because im a real madrid fan.
8. crowds need to be real too. for example, if you hear the crowd yell when a player scores in the EPL they sound much different when someone scores a goal in LA LIGA. crowds in the different leagues sound different when they cheer GOAL!!!.
9.when your team win a trophy in any of the modes you should at least show them celebrating with it.
10. put the argentine league, russan league, maybe j league from japan,.
11. show who has the most goals and assists when you play in the champions league or uefa in manager mode.
12. put some of the real life tattoos that the players really have in the game. like f. torres, guti, etc.
13. have more frequent offers from teams in manager mode.
14. also in manager mode, have like other teams make rumors about what players that they are interested in buying. like there could be rumors that another big club is interested in buying one of your star players but nothing really happens though because its just rumors going around in the league. it should make the gamer feel a little edgy and on the look out for other teams trying to talk to his players.
15. also we should be able to call up youth players from our clubs youth teams and also sell players from our youth team that we dont want maybe. we should also be able to buy promising young talent and put him in the reserves to help him mature as a player before putting him in the senior squad.

I didn't bought fifa08 on wii because their is no manager mode and the commentators are in dutch and not in english. I'm playing fifa07 and waiting on a better one.

- offers from other club during manager mode, not only from arsenal ans liverpool
- good teams need a good classement, not like real ans sevilla in segunda devision the second season.
- the public must be like the players
- more different football shoes
- more weather conditions

- more commentators for different competions
- more realistic faces

just renew fifa07 that its much better, but their must certanly be a manager mode, I love to do transfers.

I think that the improvements that the fifa series need to make is that YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO CREATE A STADIUM second of all YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO CHOOSE THE COMMENTATORS THAT YOU WANT FOR A GAME OR TOURNEY the crowd should improve like
ALL OF THE CROWD SHOULD NOT FILL UP THE STADIUM, THEY SHOULD BE WALKING AROUND TO GO TO CONCESSIONS. ALSO, WHEN A TEAM SCORES THE CROWD SHOULD BE LOUD AND YOU CAN SEE THEM JUMPING. THE COMMUNICATING OF THE PLAYERS SHOULD BE LOUDER AND MORE FREQUENT. ON DERBY MATCHES, YOU SHOULD SEE THE CROWD FIGHTING WITH THE OTHER CROWD. THERE SHOULD BE A BUTTON SO YOU CAN DIVE. MANAGERS SHOULD BE SEEN WALKING AND TALKING TO THERE TEAM AND IF THE TEAM IS WINNING THEN HE WILL CELEBRATING OR CALM IN HIS CHAIR..IF HIS TEAM IS LOOSING HE SHOULD BE YELLING AT HIS TEAM OR SITTING IN HIS CHAIR WITH EMBARASSMENT. CREATE A TEAM AND A BALL. FOR BE A PRO OR MANAGER MODE, PRACTICES SHOULD BE HELD IN BETWEEN MATCHES AND HOW WELL THE TEAM PRACTICES DETERMINES HOW WELL THEY WILL PLAY IN THE GAME. CONFETTI SHOULD BE THROWN FROM THE CROWD IF IT IS A DERBY OR AN IMPORTANT MATCH. PLAYERS SHOULD CELEBRATE BY RUNNING INTO THE STANDS. COMMENTATORS SHOULD BE MORE ENTHUSIASTIC WHEN GOALS OCCUR.

Please Add tournament for international team.
I would like to see the Gold Cup. The confederation cup etc.
Fifa 2005 modes were ok.
Add coaching option. Make be a pro better.
I'm not satisfy of the 08 wii version. Please add more celebration moments after wining a cup.

In wii I can't create custom tournament for National Teams. I think this option should be added.
Haiti made some progress the last years I think they should add the Hatian National team or an Haitian club in the rest of the world. They could add two or three natinal teams from the caribbean zone. (The best Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica and Haiti)
and more options like in fifa 07 Team, player management, coaching etc.

Experience points- get rid of them, Pro Evo's way is better but still flawed, players should only get faster up to maybe 22 then stay the same and go down as they get to their late 20's. Players growth should be based on a "Potential" score for example. I can't see any actual evidence that all of the abilities scores players have make much of a difference. Whats the difference between vision and passing in the context of the game?

Teams should play differently depending on the circumstnaces of each game. ie. if Sunderland are beating ManU they should stick all 11 men behind the ball like in real life. Same as if a team is a goal down with 15 mins to go they go on an all out attack which leaves them vunerable to the counter. Doesn't seem too much to ask...

Finnish veikkausliiga would be good. then world cups. euro cups.In be a pro is good that its like a manager mode. long,you can go to other team on transfer period.and i the cover should be cristiano ronaldo and farncesc fabregas cos ronaldinho isnt good any more.i want holland and finnish national team like they are real. their shirts look stupid.I want too fifa world best player to be in magazine or something.and it also would be nice that francesc fabregas or c.ronaldo is the best player of the game

I Think there should be like a be a pro manager mode yu start of as playing for a sunday legue the get scouted for sum team like accrington then go and piked up by bigger clubs but i think they need more stadiums such as ibrox and celtic park because the get into the last 16 in champions legue and tht it would be better

PLEASEE make the leagues more realistic.. Arsenal got relegated out of all teams. Manchester came 15th while liverpool finishined 13th.... Watford finished second behind me. Then the next year for some reason arsenal was in the champions league? how does that work when they got relegated??

u should have the old wembley stadium - that was class. PLEASE have more stadiums (hampden park AND THE BERNABAU!) make the goal celebrations better. maybe we can see the commentators at the beginning. someone could introduce the match and hand over 2 the commentators. also, when they win a cup, make the cut scene better. all it is is some sad looking players walking up to some guy in green. and why cant we see the ref and the linesman?! sort it out!

two player manager mode and if not new commentators then at least a third and a sideline or touchline commentator. have real managers on the game also have the teams major sponsors as real sponsors like AIG, BWIN, SAMSUNG ETC. definetily expand be a pro mode, for example, start as a really young kid like 9 or 10 and you have to work your way up through the developmental squads and get a contract with a really low ranked team and have to work your way up to eventually captain your national team. better growing levels in manager mode the experience points in fifa 08 suck. make be a pro mode two player. make the leagues more realistic, for example, make the italian league more defence based like it actually is.

i think ther should be dowloadable content for stadiums id love to see the city ground on fifa because the one that forest use does not look anything close to the shed they make you play in on 08 if they dont put every stadium in they should at least include the ones that stand out like the city gorund, elland road etc. im liking the ideas for the cut scenes to be added to add to the realism of the game. also the idea of adding depth to the comentary buy using stats and form etc mentioning our double european cup winners and the brian clough era for example a lot can be done for the realism of the came and i hope just some of the ideas get put in

there should be a game mode that alows you to start as a player then choose a country to start in. They you get sighne d by a club and set a wage you can accept ot decline if you accept you play controlling only that pisoiton at ya club. ya only play if ya manaeger wants you to play you play of bench . you can be sold to club or leave to another club if not getting enough time. ya play better ya get more money leave club to bigger club more money if you go down diviosion less money

also when you get to the final have it in a nuetral stadium not the home teams stadium

I have been a proud owner of the fifa franchise since fifa 1997. fifa needs to be to review the bugs of 08 and come again. and 1 thing i want and have been begging is the argentna leage so i can play with boca juniors. also the spectators should be lookd into and put shaped into the game. In the argentinna leage i want the commentator to be put in because i love to hear him go when a goal scores.

1. Create a "Career Mode" where u can create a player and only play as that player and get offers from different clubs and stuff. (Like GM Mode , but Player Mode or something)
2. Add more international teams !!! LIKE CUBA !

4. Get the crowd more involve in the game
5. More goal celebrations

I have bought the last five FIFA games and i agrre that the manager mode on FIFA 05 was the best where you can play in many cups at the same time during a season like the champions league, fa cup and so on. Al so more teams bot league and international. Get he Argentine League, the J-League, the Chilean league, the egyptian league. Get as many leagues as possible. Also put the world cup as a playable tournament. i have many more ideas which i will express at a later date. thanks for reading.

I Think That Fifa 09 Should Have A Manager Mode,Create Your Own Club Mode,Int Cup Modes Like The CONCACAF Gold Cup. Add Team Stadiums Like Los Angeles Galaxy The Hom Depot Center Or Houston Dynamo Robertson Stadium. Should Have A Superliga Cup UEFA Champions League. And 2009 Fifa World Cup Qualifiers.

Add more south american leagues, specially the argentine league. How can you have the australian and korean leagues, and not have the Argentine leauge, or Colombian league, or other south american leagues? It would be nice to have enough teams to play the copa libertadores. All of us South Americans are getting jewed on this game. Add a spanish comentator. I want to here GGGGGGOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!! when I score a goal. It would be nice to control the players after they score the goal and decide on the celebration, and have the crowd react to it. Also the crowds need to be heard. It would be nice to have chants, and whistles and stuff.

If you can incorperate anything from the football manager franchise into maganer mode then that would vastly improve the game length, it just gets so boring so quickly, same thing over and over again. Sorry about the rant. Forget the S american league etc, focus on the majority, its what companies do best lol! Like everyone else make everthing abit more controllable like shirt sponsors etc. i can understand your liscense from FIFA might be a little restrictive in terms of changing any shirts or even boots lol. but try and make the game last longer, little quirks like rumours and players fighting each other on/off the pitch. We need more to do rather than just play football.
It all sounds very demanding i know but FIFA is generally unrivaled only because you have the liscense, if PES got their hands on that little beauty then you would be dead in the water.

Fifa 08 is good, but to make 09 better i have some suggestions.
1. Make real life boots available to all players
2. Have the ability to have sponsers on created teams shirts. And the club badge
3. Also, after your first season in manager mode, the sponser you pick should appear on your teams shirt. This will stop the game bein repetative.
4. Finally, The referee and linesmen should be visible on the pitch, jus to add a bit more realism.

1. the players actually get angry once in a while and have little fights
2. unlock classic teams

1st thing ... Ea realy need to consider havin the way the trnsfer system works change for fifa 09 ... the fact that you can only do a VERY limited amount of transfers in such little time is unfair, let people go thru the summer transfer window properly and and skip days as they go past ... that would be so much better.

2nd thing ... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE... IM BEGGING YOUR TEAM TO PUT MORE STADIUMS IN THE GAME, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT FOR FURTHER PROGRES ... and also let finals for champions league vary with stadiums, for eg - wembley stadium and the millenium stadium are beutiful stadiums that cant even be used in a season or a tournament???? yh also why can you only play in one stadium in created tournaments i dont understand the meaning of that at all.

3rd thing ... why is fifa 08 on PS2 so much betta that on £60 and PS3 ... gameplay-wise ... it really does baffle me it makes no sense?

Overall, i think that the next title (FIFA 09 i presume) needs to add a lot more options for users, options for things such as cup winning celebrations (make it longer) - but if you wish to watch it watch it if you don't press a button, and also if people want to see intros for matches, make like two scenes, where you see all the players and where they come out.

I wish gameplay speed is same like in Fifa 08. It's very realistic now.

I would like to see different kind of passes. Player can make different passes "Joga Bonito" with different button combinations. Now you can't control yourself if you wanna do some "backfoot" passes. It's very nice to see if you can make game with different passes and example send your striker through with some kind of "backpass" You know?

Also it's would be cool to see more African teams there.

i think you should be able to change the players make of football bot eg: adidas to nike
puma to adidas nike to reebok you understand what i mean.

in fifa 09 in manager mode u should be able to create ur own stadiums and certain stands should be more pricy depending on the size or style u should also be able to change reals playerz hairstyles and apearances u should also hav the world cup in it

Hei... First of all i think that Fifa 08 is the best Fifa Game so far... In the next game it could be great if:

- substitutes and the players in the bench are shown
- more cameras and " tv networks" around the pitch
- more realistic crowd

- more player celibrations
- more realistic shirts - get dirty and very "untucket"
- longer injuries during manager mode

- be a pro mode manager without online
- more different football shoes

- better/during atmosphere during knockout games, derby's and cup finals
- small teams have bad pitches
- more kits for the goalkeepers
- more sweat on the players
- when awayteams score, the crowd will buuuhh.... and wistle
- players swap shirts after a game

should include more third world countries like El salvador. It should include videos of the best plays
of the season. key players should have their new cleats, you should be able buy cleats in the game
for important players like Cristiano Ronaldo.

my suggestion for the next are:
be more realistic with everything from the stadiums ,weather (adding very hot days to a snowing pitch and making players to deal with the situation could be fun for us and at the same time is real!!) .
FIFA should reconsult to add all the National team and make us to play for the qualification at the same time we do a season .
will be nice to be able for more then 1 person to play the season together .
i love to see at the end of each game a mutiscreen with the others games played on the same day with a commentary and a newspaper headlines with all the teams involved in a championship .
a real battle for the championship and relegation focus will be also nice.
and this is just to start.
hope i do not ask to much but is sometingh everybody will love and I KNOW THAT FOR SURE.

the bug in the commentary needs sortin, where they go on about the match being close. ive had 10 shots on goal and scored 2, they've had 2 soft shots and havent scored. how could this be seen as a game thats "right up for grabs"?? also, i used to love the older fifas where there'd be a presenter (des lynam and, later, gary linekar if i remember rightly?) who'd build the match up before passing over to the commentators. nice touch, should be brought back.
