i would like the game play to be more real
like i have only seen the compute use a step over or other moves twice
and the players need to play like them selves
when i play the computer, their player would run around with the ball for like 30 seconds...like they run in circles...no player does that
also you never see cristiona making his really fast run doing many tep overs int his game

I would like to see Adrian Mutu in the game not Murgu...and also add the Romanian liga 1..because for the past two years they competed in the uefa champions league and also Uefa cup...So they deserve to be in the game. As far as playing goes...crowd to cheer the name of the scorer...the crowd to be more involved in the game..seeing some fun battles in the stadiums as you play...with crowd control moving in on the sidelines...the manager yelling at players on the side...And better replays of goals..i would like to see a better feel of gameplay when you play alone through seasons...to make it more fun..add interviews...players giving comments....etc...As you get more popular players to the team..make more income from them through commercials...sponsors...more posibilities to make income

Make it for ps2 = FIFA 09

Here are my main recommendations (PSP)
1) Have a practice module
2) When striking the ball, should be able to bend the shot. Beckham can't bend it.
3) One button tricks or have the ability to configure the controller to allow for this to happen
4) Referees - have them
5) Nearly all of the goals are straight on, make it easier to score from the side or with a cross
6) Download music from the PSP to another portable device like an iPod or MP3 player

Those were my recommendations. Here are some of the bugs I have seen
1) Some players (manager mode) are a different color/race on the pitch and off. I imagine this is very difficult to pull off for those players.
2) After so many seasons of manager mode, press goes away (no questions)
3) Board expectations - occassionally, I do not meet board expectations when I clearly do? (min of 14MM when I have 28)
4) Board expectaitons - occassionally they repeat. 'i.e. sign Kaka to 3 year contract' This will show up the following year as the same goal. i.e sign Kaka to a 3 year contract
5) After a few seasons in manager mode, my training doesn't seem to be acknowledged/beneficial.

Other things I wouldn't mind changing
1) When you save or load, the songs reset. Very rarely have I heard a complete song
2) Wouldn't mind listening to the songs while I'm playing.
3) The game is fun, but it doesn't look like a real football match. Wouldn't mind changing that.
4) Have a World Cup game mode. I know you can do it manually, but this would be more beneficial and easier to set up.
5) Option to select what the manager looks like
6) Have the option to go day-to-day instead of fast forward through to the next fixture. This would be beneficial during transfer season.

Nevertheless, this game is awesome. I wasn't a football/soccer fan until I played this game. Great job.

really good and smart stuff are been said here.... but i just wont one problem fixed! i have xbox360 and ihave fifa 07 and 08....i have allways been having fifa. so mutch things are good! but tell me why the hair are changing on players in 08 but not in 07?? this looks so baad! and it can not exist on a next gen game!!

i can take one player like zlatan ibrahimovic, one of the best players in the world (but in fifa 08 he cant do all the trix?why?) anyway, he has long,straight neckhair in the game 08....but when u are playing and the camera is a bit far away the hair gets short! and u can clearly see hes neck!! it dont look good! and its anrealistic!! please fix it! so i dont have to see it in fifa 09

i think you should be able to make your stadium and when you make a player you should be able to put the stats to full like pro evo and should have junior players and teams but the best one inn the world and have better music and videos of the premreship the season before like fifa 2007 thats it and cant wait for the next game

fifa 08 is alright but not great.
there should be more intenational teams like holland,african teams
there should be a diffrent armband when playing in champ leage and other competitions.
players should not look same

it has to be more realistic. there needs to be things like a occasional fight, with an obvious red card, players getting angry if they get subbed. also the gameplay needs to be a bit better

Please add some more of the premiership, seria A etc. stadiums. One big problem is the card's given out, i have NEVER recieved a straight red!! doesnt matter how hard you try, just doesnt happen (on xbox360, dont know about the other formats) More realistic injury's as well, all injurys recieved to players last for 2 or 3 days, a week at the most. Would be nice if someone could break a leg & be out for a few months. More referee involvement would also be good in Fifa 09. Please could you add some more teams to the 'Rest of World' section such as Shaktar Donesk . . . Finally, please could you add some more involvement for the captain, eg. more instructions for players, options to contest the referee (like in the interview things after matches) however, please dont show the appauling disapline from teams like Chelsea towards referee's. Fifa 08 is incredible!!!!

i think u shuud be able 2 make ure own stadiums and managers realistic. the players faces are not very accurate and i think there shuud be more celbrations. Player Growth used 2 be good now no1 looks at it and on the 360 version of fifa 08 when you quit all the squads etc are back 2 default. i think drogba looks loke a gorilla and ronney a troll(accurate one) but most of all the cre8 a player is really boring having 2 earn all the xp they shuud have 20,000 to spend automatuiclly

Each copetition shuold have it own ball e.g. carling cup has the carlong cup ball and champions league has the official champions league ball etc.
throughout the season the in the winter there should be a yellow ball andthe rest of the season there should be the normall white ball.
in manager mode you should create a manager like when you create a player when you about to make a sub the manger gives instruction and when you score the manger celebrates lik jose mourinho .
when you are playing you should dive but you get carded more often so it seems realistic.
when you win a big match the fans run into the pitch.
in manger mode billionares or millionares invest in your club so you have money to buy players .
you should be able to create a stadium in manger mode of not you get to extend your stadium and you plan it out or get to buy new stadiums and give it your own name.
during the season players have new haircuts and their beard and hair grows.
lastly make it available on playstation 2 many of the people have playstation have the ps2 console and if it is not out on ps2 ea will not get that match profit.

maybe more realstic stuff for the ps3 for example choose to comfront the ref (with concequences) perhaps now and again a streaker and build a stadium would be great and with the player/manager interview have as an actuall interview like they do after the real game

Definately update the classic XI. Where is Maradona? Where is Pele? Where is Cruyff? Multiplayer Be a pro would be great (split screen).

You should be able to do more tricks like round the world, and make them easier to do instead of all of the Analogue s***. You should also make the game play more real and make sure that all of the players have the correct boots instead of the s***ty stupid EA sports boots.

Please make sure FIFA 09 is on XBox 360 and the downfall with FIFA 08 is the glitch in the commentary and please introduce on the field referees and linesmen in FIFA 09.

Wishes for 09 on the Playstation 3:
*Multiplayer in manager mode. Like you can do already in tournament mode just with all the stuff from manager mode(buying and selling players, upgrading staff and so on).

*Far more ingame video sequenses

*Pls improve refereeing!

*Improve the sound, especially when home team scores

i think you should have all the blues square teeams frome premier south and north in the next fifa and tht the world xi team is much better than last years

i think that the psp version should have a create a player mode and on all consloes have the real stadiums for the premership and champinship aswell as all other big leauges and HVAE A REFFREE and i think that the man of the match on the ps3 version is good so put it on all of the cconsoles versions

plz make sure that u sell fifa 09 on playstation 2 and also more realistic faces and referees on field.

i think you should put the blue square premier teams into the fifa series also ,have all the officials showing including the forth official,change the front cover pairing,make all the premier league teams have there own stadiums,make it so the keepers can be sent off to for fouling or handling the ball outside the area. cant wait to see what you come up with.

If you could get a contact with Skysports, then that would mean that on the match days
it could be set up like SkySports.
Also make signing a player more interesting, for example player plus money swaps.
Then when you sign the player show that player in the conference holding up his shirt and doing all the real stuff.

There are a few kinks in the gameplay that need to be adjusted. Defense in FIFA 08 is very frustrating sometimes because of the "auto-switching," which changes the player you control. While you can press LT (on XBOX 360) to manually change players, sometimes the player is then switched again automatically, making it difficult to play defense the way you want to, by charging with the player you want to or marking a different player away from the ball. They definitely need to change that auto-switch system. Perhaps they can replace it with a system in which, suppose you press LT once, then a cursor will light up above a near by defensive player and you can browse the defensive players until the cursor is above the desired player, at which point you press LT again and it locks on to that player.

dont put ronaldhino or rooney on the front cover because they are both overated

make c.ronaldo fabregas and kaka on the front cover. There should be more different celebrations e.g. putting a dummy in your mouth. you should be able to dive but whenever you dive there is more chance of getting carded than getting away with it.

Hey, I think the FIFA series is already good. The only things I would really want to see are maybe more realistic stadiums and more big leagues. Also, better a.i. like when a teammate passes you the ball they would run into better position and make runs and cuts. But, I would really like to see more in others games like NBA Live, NCAA March Madness and the Rugby series. NBA Live should be more like FIFA, include the Euroleague, Spanish League, Australian NBL and a whole bunch of national teams. NCAA March Madness should have international recruiting. Rugby 09 should have more licensed teams, players and leagues. Do the same people who make FIFA work on the Rugby, NBA Live and NCAA B-ball games? If not not can you please recommend this to them. I would appreciate it because I would really like to see these things as a fan of football, basketball and rugby union. Thank you and keep it up!

I cant wait but one thing, make the premier league matches vairy between day and night and update the ball they use cause they genreally change in premier league, also all champions league matches be at NIGHT

I think the game is great. however you should add the ref in the pitch. and on fifa 08 there was no pratice mode so u should add it. And also in the older fifas there was an indoor mode , and i think that would be a great thing to add an indoor game mode ,and also you should add a beach mode where players play in the beach.

I agree with Matt. I believe the gameplay is phenominal. However, I do believe that when a player passes a ball to another, the other player could maybe check away and run forward and receive it. Just an idea.

One thing that I am 100% for is greater customization. Create a stadium would be a perfect addition. Also, when you create a player, I think there should be a more customizable face. For example, Cech wears a headguard or whatever and Tevez wears a bandana sometimes. Why can't our created players do that?

The one last thing is the boots. In the PC version (I don't know about others), your created player can't have authentic boots. Why not?
